- Scuderia Ferrari sell team to Alfa Romeo, who plan to use the side as an Junior Team. The team will run under the new name Scuderia Ambrosiana

- Adolfo Finocchio announces intentions to race a second seat for the upcoming season. To avoid confusion the team has rebranded to Scuderia Finocchio

- Christopher Bethune opens Monaco based team Equipe Bethune, which plans to run 2 seats for the upcoming F1 season

- Vitus Romer cuts funding to his team, running just a single seat for the upcoming 1951 Season

- Fedele Lolli & Eduard Weinstock open their own teams with the intention of running all 6 F1 Championship races. Both will run a single car, with the teams named exactly after the running driver.

New Grand Prix have been started in Yugoslavia, Argentina, Netherlands & Hungary, all of which will be Non-Championship Grand Prix

Non-Championship Race

Sadly, while most retirements during the French Grand Prix were either minor accidents or engine issues, one would turn fatal for Arsene Bonhomme. The 23-yo was considered to have decent potential in the sport, however financial instability has meant they were never able to race outside of France. This was his second F1 Championship race, having finished 22nd at the French GP last year.
