The Web-Based Wrestling Federation is a hybrid of online strategy and traditional play-by-mail games, where you take on the role of a professional wrestling manager while handcrafting your wrestlers into Legends.
LeaguesPlayer rankings, title holders, commissioner reports, and announcements will be displayed with other interactive components to make the most out of each community. Every manager will also be given seven days to fine-tune move sets through house matches and prepare smack talk for each of their wrestlers, which will then be posted weekly with the league's Main Event result cards.
House MatchesThese are daily matches against random scrubs to improve your wrestlers and train them. Even though wins and losses aren't recorded from a House Match, other stats will be increased that could very well affect that week's Main Event. Managers will also earn in-game currency to upgrade equipment and purchase new items.
Main Events
This is the weekly, "prime-time" broadcast that depends on proper management and training. You’ll receive everything that you would through House Matches, with the results of a Main Event being the most important contributor to the success of your wrestlers. From the recorded wins and losses to possible sponsors that can result in a big payday and the fanfare that comes with it.
Stables and AlliancesAlliances are the collaboration of wrestlers between different managers for tag team and six man matches, which may actually affect the outcome of a match or protect another wrestler from an unexpected surprise the WBWF refers to as a “Wrestlus Interruptus”. However, the formation of a WBWF Stable will kick it up a notch; allowing managers to not only establish an unlimited alliance with each other, but also communicate and interact in ways that unlock special perks and make any rival seriously reconsider their current career path.
Classes and Move SetsThe first steps to creating a wrestler is selecting an Alignment (good, bad, neutral) and primary Skill Class (brawler, high flyer, etc.) Those choices will then affect the moves and training options available to them. These are also a factor in determining potential move set values and what inventory items can affect their performance in a positive or negative manner. Also, don't forget that if you consistently force any wrestler to act outside the chosen scope of their Alignment or Skill Class, there's a good possibility that you may see those actions being reflected in unexpected ways.

Another upcoming wrestling simulator? It seems trendy to create wrestling simulators.

Hey guys, thanks for the interest in the WBWF. It's in no way a wrestling simulator, but a text-based MMORPG based on professional wrestling. I actually do appreciate that type of comment Mike Haggar, since it's helping me work out how to properly word things in the future. The Kickstarter doesn't really have much of a chance of hitting a 10k goal, which is basically what would be needed to continue building it, but by the end of the month I'll have a minimal version of it completed. So, even if my first crowdfunding attempt doesn't work out, I may re-post the campaign with more images and a video. In all honesty, I had never even heard of a "wrestling simulator", and I'm now afraid that the phrase is now synonymous with "fantasy wrestling", so I may have to scrap that term altogether. Another thing I've decided to re-work is the idea of a league. For now, I don't think there's a need to split managers into groups, and if the time comes to do so, then it may be wiser to go with regions (like the NFL does with conferences.) If guys have any additional feedback, or have ideas of what you'd like to see in an online wrestling RPG, feel free to let me know.

I've gone ahead and updated the campaign to explain things in a clearer fashion and avoid the pitfalls of what was mentioned above. Let me know what you think. I'll be adding more images next week as I wrap up those features.

Below is a list of moves. At first, there are 90 total. I would like to move several "Skill" moves over to the "Basic" category. If you would re-organize up to twelve (12) moves, which ones would you change?
