WCW Main Event – [Sunday] Week 2 [November] [1995]
These are the results from WCW Main Event, being held by World Championship Wrestling.
Scott Hudson, Dusty Rhodes and Lee Marshall open the show telling us that tonight’s Main Event Exclusive will be a match between “Das Wunderkind” Alex Wright versus Vincent with the WCW World Television title on the line.

We kick off the action with Clark Hainess & Jim Powers versus The Power Company.
Clark Hainess is a young WCW Power Plant trainee.
Jim Powers is good looking, strong and full of energy (for about three minutes).
With a classic bodybuilder look, The Power Twins is two of the most massive and powerful grapplers ever to enter the squared-circle.

Jim Powers and Dave Power are going to start this match off, with Clark Hainess and Dean Power waiting out on the ring apron.
Jim Powers tries to counter, but to no avail as Dave Power hits the Lariat.
Dave Power gets hit by Jim Powers with a Forearm Club.

Dave Power gets hooked up by Jim Powers with a Bear Hug.

Dusty Rhodes: To get out of this Bear Hug Dave Power has got to grab onto those ropes.
Scott Hudson: Dave Power grabs the ropes and the referee forces Jim Powers to let go of the Bear Hug.
Dusty Rhodes: Nope. Dave Power isn’t ready to give up just yet.
Dave Power gets into it with Clark Hainess in the corner and is caught by surprise as Jim Powers hits the Headbutt.
Dave Power is dazed after that Headbutt.
Dave Power takes down Jim Powers with a Headbutt.
Dave Power gets hit by Jim Powers with a Hip Toss.
Dave Power gets a hold of Jim Powers and locks on the Bear Hug.
Dave Power is just trying to wear Jim Powers down with that hold.
Jim Powers winces in pain as Dave Power applies the pressure with the Bear Hug.
Jim Powers has got to try and grab the ropes to break out of this hold.
Jim Powers grabs the ropes and the referee forces Dave Power to let go of the Bear Hug.

Dusty Rhodes: That’s a nice Dropkick.
Dave Power walks towards the corner and attempts to make a tag, but Jim Powers catches Dave Power off guard with a Headbutt.
Dean Power reaches out and Dave Power makes the tag.
Dusty Rhodes: Now we are going to get to see what Dave Power is made of.
Dean Power goes on full offense. He drops down and goes for the cover on Jim Powers.
Scott Hudson: Dean Power has Jim Powers’s shoulders pinned to the mat and the referee starts the count. ONE!
Scott Hudson: Dean Power can’t keep Jim Powers down as Jim Powers is able to kick out.
Dusty Rhodes: No! That wasn’t enough to put Jim Powers away.
Jim Powers gets hit with a Forearm Club by Dean Power.
Jim Powers is reeling after that one.
Clark Hainess reaches out and Jim Powers makes the tag.
Dusty Rhodes: Business is about to pick up here.
Dean Power hits Clark Hainess with the Powerslam and goes right for a cover.
Dusty Rhodes: Dean Power hit that move perfectly.
Scott Hudson: Dean Power has Clark Hainess’s shoulders pinned to the mat and the referee starts the count. ONE!
Scott Hudson: Clark Hainess gets a shoulder up and breaks out of the pin attempt!
Dusty Rhodes: Clark Hainess isn’t out of this one yet.
Scott Hudson: Clark Hainess catches Dean Power by surprise with a Drop Toe Hold.
Dusty Rhodes: Clark Hainess hit that move full force!
Clark Hainess walks towards the corner and attempts to make a tag, but Dean Power catches Clark Hainess off guard with a Diving Lariat.
Dusty Rhodes: Great move.
Clark Hainess tries for a Forearm Club on Dean Power and is successful.
Dave Power tags in, and Dean Power is going to get a chance to get a breather here.
Clark Hainess gets hit by Dave Power with a Lariat.
Clark Hainess hits Dave Power with that Drop Toe Hold.
Clark Hainess tags in Jim Powers.
Dusty Rhodes: Jim Powers will be looking to finish off Dave Power.
Dave Power gets hit with a Hip Toss by Jim Powers.
Scott Hudson: I think that Jim Powers is setting Dave Power up for the Running Powerslam.
Dusty Rhodes: Dave Power better watch out or this match could be over fast.
Jim Powers is looking to put an end to this match and thus hits Dave Power with that devastating Running Powerslam! Jim Powers then wastes no time in going for the cover.
Dusty Rhodes: We could see a three-count here!
Scott Hudson: Jim Powers has Dave Power’s shoulders pinned to the mat and the referee starts the count. ONE!
Scott Hudson: TWO!
Dusty Rhodes: This match is over. There is no way that Dave Power is going to be able to kick out here.
Scott Hudson: THREE! That’s it!
Scott Hudson: That Running Powerslam proved too much for Dave Power.
Dusty Rhodes: Jim Powers and Clark Hainess pick up another win.
In a hard-hitting powerhouse versus powerhouse match, Clark Hainess and Jim Powers surpringsly defeated The Power Company (Dave Power and Dean Power) in 5:34 when Jim Powers defeated Dave Power by pinfall with a Running Powerslam.

The announcers are discussing the match between Eddie Guerrero vs. “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair that will take place next week at WCW Monday Nitro!

We see a recap of Nitro.
Nitro Highlights’ featuring the match between WCW United States champion Sting and WCW World Heavyweight champion Hulk Hogan that ended when Vaderhits the ring to attack both men for the double DQ! Vader throws a mullet wearing referee out of the way and then he attacks Hogan and Sting.
Vader destroys Sting and Hogan with those clobbering blows.
“It’s Time! It’s Time! It’s Vader Time!”
Vader delivers his gorilla-grunting routine mocking Hogan!
“‘Who’s the Man?’
“I fear no man and I feel no pain!”
Vader attacks! Chokeslam to Hogan! Chokeslam to Sting!
Hogan starts firing away on Vader. No effect! Vader hammers Hogan down, but he Hulks Up and starts punching him again.
Eric Bischoff says “We need to get some policement out here! The situation is out of control!”
Suddenly, alot of sirens are heard, and a ton of policemen, enter the building to get the situation under control…
Hogan absolutely snaps, and starts beating the shit out of Vader with the steel chair. The referee tries to stop him, and Hogan hits that referee with a chair shot. A new ref comes out, and he hits that referee with a chair, too!
Vader gets back up, and Hulk Hogan hits him more with the steel chair and he goes after him on the floor!
Head of Security Doug Dellinger brings a billy club with him to stop this madness!
Vader is being held back by security officers. They are trying to drag Vader away from the ring as the locker room empties.
Steve “Mongo” McMichaels and William “The Fridge” Perry come running down to talk some sense into Hogan while Doug Dillinger is trying to take the chair, and Hogan hits Doug Dellinger with the chair too! And he chases “Mongo” and “The Fridge” off with the steel chair! He gets back in the ring and looks absolutely insane.
And we have a short commercial break!
Back from break, “Mean Gene” is with Hulk Hogan and Commissioner Bockwinkel. Gene says Hogan may have bitten off more than he can chew as far as his probation goes. Hogan says its bullcrap, because he is “The Immortal Hulk Hogan”! He is larger than life! He says that his name is still on the World Title.
Hogan would get physical with Commissioner Bockwinkel, claiming to be fed up with what is going on. This led to Hogan attacking him from behind before other babyfaces stepped in.
In the aisleway, Vader is trying to come back out, but security are trying to hold him back by his arms. Hogan bolts from the ring with the chair and destroys all with more chair shots, and Vader starts bleeding as we cut away.
Also clips of “Macho Man” Randy Savage defeating Bam Bam Bigelow.

The announcers are discussing World War 3. It’s Sixty Men! Three Ring! Three Giants! One Battle Royal! Total Destruction! It’s Every Man For Himself!
Scott Hudson “We are all set for our next match as The Booty Man goes head-to-head with Bilvis Wesley.”
Dusty Rhodes “This should be an interesting match-up.”
Dusty Rhodes “Su priz! Su priz! Da Kiiing is back! Err’body gonna watch da Kiiing tonight on Main Event tonight, babeh!”
“Put your hands together, I’ll show you the way, come and get some booty where the big boys play.”
“Booty time, booty time across the U.S.A. It’s booty time, booty time…'”
It’s The Booty Man, and the subject of his infatuation is, for some reason, his own ass, which he shakes around during his entrance, accompanied by his valet “The Booty Babe.”

Scott Hudson: Booty Man will be taking on Bilvis Wesley up next, in a Normal Match.
Dusty Rhodes: This should be an interesting match-up.
Booty Man messed up The King’s hair resulting in Bilvis getting really, really mad!
Bilvis Wesley measures up Booty Man and hits the Scoop Slam.
Booty Man is reeling after that one.
Booty Man does some damage to Bilvis Wesley with a Front Kick.
Bilvis Wesley returns the favor and does some damage to Booty Man with a Front Kick.

Jim Duggan & Chip Minton vs. The Barrio Brothers
A rough and tumble brawler and power wrestler. Jim Duggan is an excellent, bleeding, asskicking babyface brawler from Hell. From the opening bell the patriotic, barrel chested brawler pulverized his two cheating opponents with an uncomplicated range of power moves.
In a entertaining match with good heat, Jim Duggan & Chip Minton defeated The Barrio Brothers in 5:48 when Jim Duggan defeated Ricky Santana by pinfall with a Scoop Slam.

“Mean” Gene Okerlund is promoting another WCW Hotline story…
The Hustler takes the microphone away from ring announcer David Penzer and say, “I do not weight 271 pounds. I weight a slim, trim 215.”
The Hustler says he is the best conditioned wrestler in all of Pro Wrestling. He lets us know that unlike the fat inbred hillbillies in the audience he is well conditioned.
Resulting in a booing frenzy from the crowd.
You got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em. Know when to walk away, know when to……get your ass kicked by the one and the only. The token stealin’, card flingin’, taxi cab ridin’ son of a gun himself – The Gambler.
Marcus Bagwell and Scotty Riggs are two “pretty boys” who are fond of their own bodies and popular with women. They both wear wrestling tights and leather vests and are clapping their hands over their heads in time with their entrance music.
Tag Team Match for the WCW United States Tag Team Titles
The American Males © vs. The Gambler and The Hustler
Marcus Bagwell and Scotty Riggs gets some cheap “U-S-A!” “U-S-A!” “U-S-A!” pop from the crowd against The Gambler and The Hustler!
The Hustler is doing one-handed push-ups & kip ups in the ring, and challenging the bigger Maxx Payne to a “pose-down”.
We get a shot of Rip Rogers who is doing squats while Marcus Bagwell is in the ring.
Solid Arn Anderson-style wrestling from The Gambler during the match.
During the match we had Jacques Rougeau and Carl Ouellet making their entrance while waving tiny American flags and they humorously attempt to start “USA!” chants, which infuriating the fans until WCW Security escorted them out of the arena.
Marcus Bagwell and Scotty Riggs keeps on playing the underdog role to perfection until they stole the win with a Tag Boosted Corner Dropkick.
In a good match, The American Males defeated The Gambler and The Hustler in 8:07 when Marcus Bagwell defeated The Hustler by pinfall with a Tag Boosted Corner Dropkick.The American Males make defence number 2 of their WCW United States Tag Team titles.
The Hustler vociferously protests to the referee that his opponent did cheat. Accompanied by a frenzied voice and wild pantomimes The Hustler claims that his hair was pulled by Marcus Bagwell to score the victory.

World War 3 Control Center segment hosted by Gene Okerlund.
World War 3 is official, and Mean Gene introduces the concept and says the winner recieves a future shot at the WCW Title currently held by Hulk Hogan. Some of the participants already announced are: Randy Savage, Sting, Lex Luger and Ric Flair.
The Tower of Doom match is pitting the team of The Road Warriors, Maxx Payne and Ray Traylor vs. Sullivan’s House of Animals (Kevin Sullivan, The Barbarian, Meng and Hugh Morrus). Three cages are stacked on top of one another and a compaction that Mean Gene himself described as better than the MLB World Series and NFL Superbowl combined. Two wrestlers starts the match out on top of the cage for a two-minute period. After that period, a trap door in both the top-tier cages opened for fifteen seconds which allowed a locked wrestler to get down into the cage below with all the other wrestlers. The object of the match is to unlock the door and escape out to the floor.
“Mean” Gene talk about the upcoming World War 3 and makes the announcement that the following matches will take place at World War 3:
