 Hello, this is Jeronimoe. I have uploaded unknown behind history of Japanese pro wrestling and analysis of current pro wrestling in this forum. I think it would be good to add one more series for this forum. It is none other than daily questions. I will ask you some questions about interesting subject. Mostly 'what if' scenario for famous pro wrestling historic moment. My first question is, how would you have utilized Bret Hart after he moved to WCW? Bret Hart was the hottest thing in pro wrestling world after Montreal Screwjob. People wanted to see what would be next on him. Canadian fans wanted to see him become a world champion in WCW. But Eric had no plans for him other than bringing him to WCW. So Bret was just poorly portrayed in WCW. I believe you guys can do better than Eric. Tell me what is your idea about utilizing Bret in WCW. (Takada history thread will be updated at least until tomorrow. ^-^) |

Don't want to spoil my Hulk Knows WCW Best bookings, but I would have utilized him in a WCW brand split as a major name free agent on nWo Nitro. So on nWo Nitro the nWo would be faces, while Bret Hart, Davey Boy Smith and Jim Neidhart would be invading heels trying to take down the nWo.

This is a really good question. I'll have to think about this and get back to you/the thread.
I always thought about what would happen if Bret hadn't of left. So for the flip side of the convo is interesting.

I don’t want to spoil my Doctor is In diary too much but I think you bring Bret in against the nWo as a kind of loner similar to Sting. Neither of them trust the other workers in WCW much, but they end up being the driving forces in the downfall of the nWo. From there, I’d probably keep Hart in or near the main event scene. I feel like a world title run is definitely due at some point in his first year as well.
