Opening Segment
A video package shows quick cuts of the key moments from last week’s show.
The Glass breaks and Steve Austin storms on to the stage with a beer in hand, JR Tells us "One thing ya don't wanna do is piss off a Rattlesnake but that's exactly what Triple H has gone and done."
Upon entering the ring Austin demands a mic and wastes no time in telling us what he's out there for saying "I'm just about sick and tired of dealing with this bullshit. If it ain't one of the suits in the office trying to hold me down, it's one of the jumped up boys in the back trying to piss me off. So I don't give a rat's ass if it's in the ring, in the back, or in the parking lot, I'm gonna get my hands on Triple H one way or another and that's the botto..."
Austin is cut off as...
Vince McMahon makes his entrance with a microphone in hand, he tells Austin "You want Triple H? You wanna play The Game? You want it Austin!?... YOU GOT IT!... At In Your House it will be Stone Cold Steve Austin, verses Triple H... verses THE UNDERTAKER, in a Triple Threat Match!"
As Vince leaves Jim Ross informs us that "Speaking of Triple H, King, if that's not enough he's defending his European Title right here tonight against Marc Mero." Jerry Lawler asks him " Do you think the belt still has Austin's scalp smeared on it from last week?" and JR answers with "Well Triple H is a degenerate, King, so you never know."

Match 1
LOD VS The Truth Commission (W/ The Jackal)
Before the bell rang, The Jackal pointed Recon to his team's corner, commanding him to stay there and not to move.
Kurrgan started this match in dominate fashion, over powering and at times man handling the much more experienced Hawk. However every time Kurrgan put 'The Road Warrior' down he popped right back up again and continued taking the fight to his larger opponent.
Eventually Kurrgan grabbed Hawk in a blatant choke hold, his hands gripped firmly around his throat, and Animal sprung into action, entering the ring and knocking Kurrgan back with a series of stiff blows. Kurrgan wobbled on his feet as Hawk joined in the attack and the Legion Of Doom hit the ropes in tandem. The face painted duo flew towards Kurrgan with a double running shoulder block, sending the big man back into the ropes near his team's corner.
Recon slapped Kurrgan on the shoulder, tagging himself into the match, then climbed into the ring. For a brief second it looked as if this match would descend into a four man brawl, but The Jackal ordered Kurrgan to leave the ring and his order was quickly followed. following a short two on beat down the referee evicted Animal from the ring and Hawk went to work on Recon, as The Jackal and Kurrgan exited ringside and made their way up the ramp, leaving Recon alone with 'The Road Warriors'.
After working Recon over Hawk tagged Animal in and he immediately lifted a dazed Recon onto his shoulders while Hawk climbed to the top rope. A Doomsday device later and Animal pinned Recon for the win, as The Jackal looked on from the stage with Kurrgan looming behind him.

Segment 2
Sunny is standing by backstage with The Disciples of Apocalypse. She asks Chainz how he's feeling after being choked out by Kurrgan on Week Two's episode of Shotgun Saturday Night. Chainz tells her he's "... fired up, the tank is full of gas and The DOA is ready to open the throttle on The Truth Commission anytime, any place."
Sunny starts her second question, enquiring about the beat down The DOA put on Kurrgan and Recon on last weeks epiosde of Shotgun Saturday Night, but is interrupted by...
The New Age Outlaws walking into the shot.
Road Dog and Billy Gunn totally ignore The DOA as Road Dogg snatches the microphone from Sunny. Road Dogg tells the LOD "Last week you tried to sneak attack us after we got done whooping The Headbangers ass, well you can take it from the D O double G that's that some straight up B I T C H S H I..."
Chainz grabs Road Dogg by the shoulder and spins him around then gets in his face asking "The hell is your problem?"
Road Dogg backs up telling Chainz "Problem? We ain't go no..." then out of no where smashes his WWF Tag Team Title belt into Chainz' face. Billy Gunn reacts first and follows up, driving his WWF tag team Title belt into the face of 8 Ball. Skull gets a few shots in on Road Dogg but the numbers get the better of him as The NAO beat him down to the concrete floor.
Billy Gunn turns to the camera and says "LOD... take that as a warning."
The NAO spit on the DOA before walking out of the shot.

A short video recap of Owen's interview with Sunny and his match with Vader from last weeks episode of Raw Is War is shown.
As we see Owen's shoulders pinned to the mat we hear a sound bite from his interview "The Last Hart in the World Wrestling Federation."
At the announce desk Jim Ross says "Owen has really taken this 'last Hart in the WWF' thing to heart, no pun intended, King."
Jerry Lawler quips "If you ask me, one Hart in the WWF is still one Hart too many"
JR continues "Well anyway, King, Owen will have another chance to prove himself tonight in the main event, when takes on the number one contender to the WWF World Heavyweight Title, Ken Shamrock."

Match 3
European Championship Match
Triple H (W/ Chyna) VS "Marvellous" Mac Mero (W/ Sable)
Triple H was a picture of frustration as the match begun, and he quickly set to work on dominating Mero.
On the outside of the ring, Chyna would stalk the much smaller Sable for most of the match. Closely following her everywhere she went.
Mero fought back a few times, but never really managed to get the upper hand in this one despite his best efforts.
Triple H set Mero's head between his legs and hooked his arms for a Pedigree and then...
The lights in the arena cut out as The Undertaker's gong echoed around the building.
After a few seconds in total darkness the lights returned to normal.
Mero laid on the mat as Triple H, Chyna and the referee focused on the ramp. Sable, noticing an opportunity, removed one of her shoes and threw it into the ring then shouted to her man, desperate trying to wake up The Marvellous One. Mero stirred and picked up the shoe then unsteadily got to his feet and as Triple H turned around Mero hit him square in the face then threw the shoe out of the ring.
Mero collapsed on to Triple H and the ref counted the pin.
Winner and new WWF European Champion: "Marvellous" Marc Mero
Rating: 64
Segment 4
Mero rolls out of the ring, dazed and confused, working on pure instinct as Sable grabs his newly won WWF European Championship and quickly helps him up the ramp.
The pair just about make it to the stage as Triple H comes to, but by the time "The Game" is on his feet Sable and Mero are nowhere to be seen.
Triple H stumbles around the ring, trying to shake off the cobwebs, as Chyna corners the referee outside the ring.
The crowd explodes as Steve Austin jumps the barricade and rolls into the ring with a beer in his hand. He rolls into the ring and takes a drink from the can then places it on the mat.
Triple H shakes the last of the cobwebs off and just as it dawns on him that he has lost his European Championship he turns around into a Stone Cold Stunner.
Austin flips a downed Triple H the double bird, picks up his beer and leaves the ring.

Match 4
Jeff Jarrett VS Flash Funk
As in previous weeks Funk used his speed and agility to his advantage early on, opening with a flurry of fast paced moves. But Jarrett is no slouch, and at times he managed to keep pace with the high flier. Eventually, Double J used his technical ability to wear down Funks leg, taking away his speed advantage. Jarrett continued applying the pressure, making full use of the five count when necessary as he twisted and stretched Funk's leg out of shape.
By the time Jarrett applied the Figure Four Leg Lock the damage was done and Funk had no choice but to submit quickly for his own safety.
Winner: Jeff Jarrett

Segment 5
Backstage The Rock stands with a microphone in hand and Kama and D'Lo Brown either side of him. He raises the microphone to his mouth and pauses then raises an eyebrow then lowers the microphone again. He soaks in the boos coming from the crowd as he glances at his Intercontinental Championship belt on his shoulder.
He raise the microphone to his mouth again and...
Faarooq walks into the shot, clearly seething over The Rock leaving him to face Ken Shamrock and Steve Austin alone last week. He stands face to face with The Rock. The Rock smiles, then pats Faarooq on the shoulder before taking a step back. "Big Man! HAHA! Where you been? The Rock's been waiting for ya?"
Faarooq knocks the microphone out of The Rocks hand and tells him to "Cut the crap, Champ..."
But before anything more happens Kama and D'Lo cool the situation down.

Match 5
D'lo Brown, Kama & The Rock VS Ahmed Johnson, Bart Gunn & Bob Holly
Good Ol' JR told us that this one had "Slobber Knocker written all over it." and he was bang an the money as this was an all out brawl from the start. After a few minutes the referee managed to gain a semblance of control and for a while the action was contained to the ring.
Intercontinental Champion, The Rock, spent most of his time avoiding the number one contender to his title, Ahmed Johnson, and the rest of the time talking trash to him. Tactics which only served to anger 'The Pearl River Powerhouse'.
When Ahmed finally got his hands on 'The Great One', he whipped him towards the corner with force, but The Rock collided with the referee, knocking him down and out of the ring.
D'Lo and Kama began brawling with Holly and Gunn outside the ring, and the cameras quickly lost sight of them as they fought through the crowd and all the way to the back.
In the ring, The Rock and Johnson went back and forth until Ahmed set up for The Pearl River Plunge, but The Rock dropped to his knees and delivered a sickening low blow, causing Jerry Lawler to shriek "Right in The Pearl River Pearls, JR"
Following the low blow, The Rock immediately dropped Ahmed with a Rock Bottom and went for the pin. After five or six seconds with no count The Rock looked towards the ref who was still out cold at ringside.
Faarooq made his way down the ramp, once at ring side he picked the referee up and rolled him into the ring then walked around to the time keeper's table. He snatched the Intercontinental Championship belt, slid it under the bottom rope, and then immediately left ringside.
As Faarooq walked up the ramp with his back to the ring, The Rock picked up the Intercontinental Title. He looked at the belt then slowly raised it over his head, a chorus of boos erupted from the crowd. 'The Great One' smiled and raised an eyebrow, then walked to the turn buckle. He climbed to the second rope and again lifted the Intercontinental Title in the air.
On the stage, Faarooq stopped and turned around, just in time to see Ahmed Johnson getting to his feet. The Rock climbed down from the second rope and spotted Johnson, he ran at him, poised to take his head off with the gold plated strap but Ahmed ducked the attempted blow. When The Rock turned around for another attempt, he was met with a boot to the stomach that caused him to drop the belt to the canvas.
As the referee stirred, Ahmed lifted The Rock and dropped him with a Pearl River Plunge on to the Intercontinental Title.
Faarooq shook his head in anger and disgust before heading backstage, as a groggy referee counted The Rock's shoulders to the mat.
Winners: Ahmed Johnson, Bart Gunn & Bob Holly

Segment 6
Sunny is backstage with 'The Last Hart' Owen Hart before his match with Ken Shamrock. Owen tells her "I came up short last week, but tonight I'm going to beat Ken Shamrock and..."
Owen trails off, interrupted by some shouting out of shot and the camera turns to reveal...
Triple H throwing a fit, screaming "It's bullshit Shawn! The Triple Threat Match at In Your House... That punk Mero... Austin!... What the hell is going on tonight?" 'The Game' looks towards Owen "And what the hell did you just say?"
"I said I'm going to bea..." Owen trails off as HBK interrupts him, telling him with a sarcastic smile "Yeah, yeah, yeah, we heard ya, kid. Tell ya what, you beat Shamrock tonight, take him out, and there might be a spot in DX for ya."
Owen tells them firmly "The day I associate with a pair of degenerates like you... is the day The Last Hart's heart stops beating."
HBK, Triple H and Chyna leave the scene laughing at Owen, who only seems more fired up by their mocking tone.

Segment 7
In a backstage promo Paul Bearer warns us to "Get ready, because my monster, Kane, is preparing to unleash a plague of hell fire and brimstone on everyone in the World Wrestling Feder.."
Paul stops abruptly and a slight look of fear appears on his face when the already dim lights surrounding him dim even further. The look of fear on his face grows a little deeper as the lightbulbs begin to explode in their fittings one by one.
Paul looks up at Kane, who just tilts his head to one side and pulls his glove on tighter.
Paul Bear gulps as the lightbulbs continue to explode one by one, until the pair are left in complete darkness.

Match 6
Main Event
Owen Hart VS Ken Shamrock
A fired up Owen Hart gave his all against 'The MMA Originator' and Number One Contender to the WWF World Heavyweight Championship in this technical match. From the bell it seemed as though each man had a counter for anything the other could throw at them and this one went back and forth for the duration, keeping the fans on the edge of their seats.
As the match drew to a close, Owen went for his trade marked Enzuigiri, his second of the match after connecting viciously with his right boot to the side of Shamrocks head in the opening minutes. This time Shamrock saw it coming and he caught Owens foot in mid-air then rolled him into an Ankle Lock in middle of the ring.
Owen held on for as long as he could and tried valiantly to reach the ropes, but as Shamrock cinched in and upped the pressure, 'The Last Hart' tapped out.
Winner: Ken Shamrock

Closing Segment
After a brief celebration Shamrock notices Owen sitting in the corner with his head down. Shamrock approaches Owen and crouches down, talking to him up close. Owen nods his head and Shamrock helps him to his feet.
The two men shake hands and a clearly disappointed Owen smiles as he and Shamrock raise their hands in the air.
Without warning Shawn Michaels and Triple H attack Shamrock and Owen from behind, knocking them both to the mat. They continue wailing on them, not giving them a chance to fight back.
After a sustained assault D-Generation X add insult to injury when HBK puts Shamrock down with Sweet Chin Music and 'The Game' drives 'The Last Hart's' face into the canvas with a Pedigree.
Chyna joins Shawn Michaels and Triple H in the ring and hands HBK his WWF World Heavyweight Championship belt.
JR remarks that "DX, Triple H especially, just can't stop making enemies, King." As the show goes off the air.
