Imagine that you can change only one historic moment of WCW/JCP. What would you choose to change? Actually there are pretty good candidates that everyone can imagine. 1. Sting VS Hogan in Starrcade 1997.It was such a catastrophe. A match should have been WCW's Hogan VS Andre, turned into the biggest let down in history of pro wrestling. 2. The very first Ric Flair VS Hulk Hogan feud
The match that had been a dream match of pro wrestling fans for decades, finally becomes a reality, but the feud was too one-sided and didn't reach it's expectation. Ric Flair was still one of the best wrestler in USA at the time and Hogan was obviously the best draw, the collision of two titans should have been built as better. 3. Bret Hart in WCW
Hart was the hottest thing in pro wrestling world at the time. Bischoff was happy to bringing Hart in, and said hiring Hart would be nail in the coffin for WWF. But Bischoff had no idea about what to do with Hart. So he kept making mistakes, and Hart's career became over with WCW itself. -------- There are many more historic moments that we want to change about WCW. Tell me about your opinions. I really look forward to listen to your opinions.

I would go for Starrcade 97 and book a clean finish.

Do not give Jim Herd anything resembling creative power over WCW.

Starrcade 97 is the obvious answer, but instead, I'll say the Fingerpoke of Doom. That was a death blow.
Oh, and for No. 2 on your list, (shameless plug) give me a few years until I get to that point in my WCW report. Even though I'm about 3 years away with my posts, I've already simmed through it and I'm happy with how my take on it turned out.

I'll say the Fingerpoke of Doom. That was a death blow. I would respectfully disagree. The plan of bringing the nWo back together and Goldberg running through them? There's nothing wrong with that. And story-wise, it also played very well off of Ric Flair winning the WCW President role from Eric Bischoff a week before. Ratings were fine for a few weeks afterward, but I think the bigger problems were that the WWF was just taking off on a whole new level and there were a lot of people injured, taking away some top guys like Sting and Bret Hart. Now, giving away the WWF title change that night? That was a bad miss.
