You know Fire pro wrestling series. That was legendary. They had all the roster of world wide pro wrestling at the time. (Even though name was different due to copyright issues)
After success of fire pro wrestling series, Japanese customers started to talk about "What if fire pro wrestling was released in 3D?"
'King of Colosseum' was like an answer to this question. They had all the rosters of existed Japanese promotion at the time.
The company who made this game was also 'Spike', which is the company that made Fire pro wrestling series.
They had NJPW, AJPW, NOAH, WJ (Riki Choshu's promotion that should have been the fourth brand of Japan), ZERO-ONE and even shoot fighting promotions as PRIDE FC and K-1.
This game not only had playing mode but offered a great custom wrestler making systems just like Fire pro series.
Also great mode such as a 'Match maker' mode, which is basically you become a owner or a booker of promotion and manage it.
This game was legendary and published sequel too, but it was released when Japan's pro wrestling's popularity was hugely declined, and series was dead soon after.
As far as I know, this series had some of great WWF and WCW wrestlers too, and most of people said this game is much better than WWF No mercy.
I am not sure if this game offer an English mode as well, but I think it would be nice if you try to play this. Imagine. Fire Pro Wrestling series in 3D. How could it go wrong?
