The YES! Mod
Been meaning to post this here forever, so apologies. For over a year now, I've been working on a mod set in May 2013 titled The Yes Mod. It was started on TEW 2016 but has been fully converted to TEW 2020. Unfortunately, there will only a TEW 2020 version made available.
Some features of the Mod:
- 2325 total workers currently
- Approximately 700 yet to add
- Yet to Debut workers should several hundred in total
- All active workers with employment histories of companies in the data
- 61 active companies
- All active companies have schedules as close as possible to reality
- 8 future promotions, with more possibly being added
- Active companies in all game areas except India
- Title lineages with number of defences where possible
- Mask and hair histories were possible
- Hall of Immortal and Hall of Fame cuts done in sepia, similar to Mod Squad mods
- All active and past companies should have Hall of Fames
Why May 2013?
- As the name suggests, its where the Yes movement of Daniel Bryan really started to heat up
- In addition to DB, CM Punk is still in the WWE, The Shield have been around for a few months but are just become a top act, and the Wyatt family will debut soon
- NXT is just starting to hit a groove, with the Four Horsewomen all there
- New Japan is about to embark on a golden period for in-ring quality, and the Bullet Club is just about to form
- AJPW is about to hit a rocky period and Noah isn't in top form, so there is a lot of room for any company to claim #2 in Japan
- the joshi scene has an amazing array of young talent
- the UK scene is producing great young talent and about to heat up
- Mexico has a prototypical mix of great veterans and promising young talent
- Australia is actually loaded with promising talent, and has 2 active companies.
