WELCOME EVERYONE TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW! And we are LIVE on what is sure to be an interesting fallout from last night's Royal Rumble! THE ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA HAS BEGUN FOLKS! We have crowned a new number one contender in what was a controversial Royal Rumble to say the least! Despite the grievances of fans around the world, the official ruling of WWF officials has stuck that Yokozuna WILL BE going to the Wrestlemania IX main event, where he will be set to face Bret Hart for the WWF Championship!

Yeah but my interests lie in what happened to the guy that SHOULDA won the Rumble! The Deadman! The Undertaker! He came in as THE SECOND ENTRANT TO THE RUMBLE VINCE! He had a RECORD SETTING PERFORMANCE! The longest that anybody has ever stayed in the Rumble, the most eliminations anybody has ever had in the rumble and right at the end? It looked like he was going to achieve what we thought would be impossible, until that no good PUNK Razor Ramon came running in with a steel chair, like the sore loser he is and costing The Undertaker his Main event ticket to Wrestlemania!

That's right! And Razor Ramon will have some choice words for The Undertaker tonight as he explains his attack against The Deadman. Besides that? I'm afraid to inform my broadcast colleague, Randy Savage that he might need to keep on his toes tonight, as Intercontinental Champion, Shawn Michaels has vowed REVENGE for what he calls "An assault" on him by the part of the Macho Man after his match at The Royal Rumble!

He can call it what he likes! I call it a wake up call! Shawn! I know you're watching! I know you're listenin'! Unless you're coming out tonight to discuss us two havin' a match?! I suggest you stay way in the back brother, oh yeah! Because the Macho Man ain't scared of you and he ain't gonna let you dangle anythin' over his head any more! No sir!

Money Inc. VS. The Nasty Boys


 VS. 

We kick the night off with captivating Tag Team action as the current WWF Tag Team Champions face off against The Nasty Boys. The champions seemed desperate to pick up a victory tonight in order to garner some momentum after the news that they would be facing the Steiner Brothers at Wrestlemania and the two used whatever tactics they could over the Nasty Boys to achieve that victory. Don't underestimate Money Inc. though. Their teamwork was sublime. On multiple occasions Dibiase and IRS would manage to isolate Jerry Sags as an individual to focus on. Dragging him away from tagging opportunities, Keeping him confined to the Money Inc corner where the two would constantly engage in back and forth double teaming against this half of the Nasty Boys. The match would culminate with Jerry Sags managing to get a tag to Brian Knobbs. As Brian Knobbs tried to regain momentum however. He was instead met with a blow by IRS' briefcase! Which should have resulted in a disqualification if it were not for Ted Dibiase distracting the referee...and...did he slip him a few bills of cash? Money Inc. pick up  a dubious victory over The Nasty Boys.

Folks, Mean Gene Okerlund backstage here, welcoming a victorious Money Incorporated as they make their way backstage! Gentlemen, a contentious victory but a victory nonetheless in the record books. I'm sure this helps both of your confidence here on the first week of the Road to Wrestlemania, are either of you willing to use this as an opportunity to address your number one contender's at Wrestlemania, The Steiner Brothers?

I'm sorry Gene, but I can't dedicate much attention or focus on The Steiner Brothers right now. I know you might be getting on a bit in age Gene, or maybe you missed the Rumble last night, so allow me to remind you and remind all the unwashed plebs watching tonight, like I feel I must...that last night at the Royal Rumble...I was NOT thrown over the top rope! I was not eliminated under the official rules of The Royal Rumble! The only reason that I was not allowed to conitnue was by the verdict of the officials on the outside of the ring, who had no business stepping in and declaring whether or not I could continue in the match!

Well Ted, to be fair you were not exactly in ideal condition from the way you were treated in the ring by Yokozuna, I'm sure that the officials made that ruling after inspecting you and making a sound judgement on your capabilities based off of that inspection, wouldn't you?

NO I WOULDN'T! IT'S A CONSPIRACY GENE! And I'm not surprised! It wouldn't be the first time that this company has conspired against me! Unfortunately, due to my standing in life, due to my class, due to my immense and extraordinary wealth Mean gene, that makes me a target, that means that I have to constantly look over my shoulder, it means I have to constantly keep an eye out for anybody and everybody who might have an axe to grind with me! And I'll admit, I let my guard down during the Rumble, but there were plenty of men to keep my eye on, I didn't know I'd be fighting against the officials as well that night and I can assure right now Mean Gene, I WILL be filing an official complaint with WWF President Jack Tunney and I will be asking for an APPEAL to have my position on the card of Wrestlemania reconsidered, as the opportunity to be in the Main Event was STOLEN from me!

Well wouldn't that make the tag team match you have in store with The Steiner brothers null and void, would that not also affect your position on the card as well IRS?

Gene. Money Incorporated is not AFRAID of competition. Money Incorporated are not AFRAID of The Steiner Brothers. In fact? We'd be willing, ready and eager to give The Steiner Brothers an opportunity against us, which they have rightfully earned! All we ask The Steiner brothers, is to reschedule it...whilst the U.S Government may not allow you a chance to reschedule paying your taxes, The Steiner Brothers are going to receive an offer from Money Incorporated they CANNOT refuse...an offer...to reschedule their match so that my partner, can properly appeal to Jack Tunney for his right to a match that was WRONGFULLY taken away from him!

So The Steiner Brothers will have to agree to facing you on another stage than Wrestlemania then?

The offer is still being decided Gene, but it will be one which I assure you will benefit ALL parties involved! I'm sure, I'm certain that The Steiner Brothers will be able to recognize that an incredible wrong was committed against me and look? I get it, a match at WrestleMania, that's big money, that's money that VERY few people will be able to match, and definitely will be able to beat...very few people that is...except for Money Incorporated! I've said it before Gene, countless times and I'll say it again! EVERYBODY'S GOT A PRICE! And in TWO WEEKS TIME! After getting everything in writing, after getting the funds put together...Money Inc. PROMISES you, that you will all find out EXACTLY what The Steiner's price is AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Say Goodbye To The Deadman...




We go to a vignette, we are outside, of some non descript house, viewing a jacuzzi, which is bubbling away, causing steam to rise into the air. Inside the jacuzzi, is none other than the man who caused great controversy at the Royal Rumble, Razor Ramon. Who has made a name for himself by ruining what could have been a historic night for The Undertaker, when Ramon attacked Undertaker with a chair in the Rumble, costing him his chances to go to the Main Event of Wrestlemania! Razor is sipping away on a drink, placing it gently to the side of the jacuzzi, a wide, Cheshire cat smile upon his face as he grabs a toothpick and starts picking away at his teeth with it.

'Ello chicos! You know somethin'? For a guy that ended up losing the Royal Rumble? A whole lotta people are talkin' about Razor...Ramon! They talkin' about me more than they talkin' about Yokozuna! They talkin' about me more, than they talkin' about Bret Hart. If you didn't watch the Royal Rumble? I wouldn't blame you if you thought for a moment that it was actually Razor Ramon who was the winner! Sadly...the main event of Wrestlemania will have to wait another day mi amigos, but that's okay. Razor Ramon is a patient man and I know that day is yet to come! So why? Why oh why are so many people chat, chat, chatting about The Bad Guy? Well the answer mi amigos, is really, really simple. Everybody is saying that Razor Ramon is a sore loser, everybody is saying that Razor Ramon ruined The Undertaker's HISTORIC NIGHT...because he couldn't stand to lose! They are only...a little bit right. It's true. I DO NOT like to lose. I AM a sore loser! Because if you aren't a winner my friends? Than you aren't worth remembering! So yes, I admit, after being thrown over the top rope by The Undertaker...The bad guy? He was a little bit mad, he was a little bit sore, he was just a little annoyed because he came so close...yet still had so far to go. BUT, oe thing kept rolling around my mind  while I made my way to the back. As a man who wants the world to remember his name? As a man who wants to have the World Wrestling Federation...and everything in it? What better way to make an impact? What better way to be remembered, than to go after the biggest, baddest hombre that there is chicos? And The Undertaker? He is just that kind of hombre!

His name? Carries more weight, more power, more fame than any championship belt can carry. Think I'm lying? In just one night, I managed to make a moment that will  linger in the minds of all who saw it! Go on, ask your friends, ask your families, ask anybody and everybody who saw the Rumble that night. What do they remember? Do they remember that Yokozuna won? Does that even matter to them? Or do they remember the sound of the cold steel chair smacking against the flesh of the Deadman? Do they care who is going to the Main Event of Wrestlemania? Or do they care more about the fact that I ruined what could have been the most historic performance ever seen in a Royal Rumble match?

It was all there, ready for the world to rejoice. The longest a wrestler has ever been in the Rumble, the most eliminations a wrestler has ever had in a Rumble and just like THAT, right at the defining moment? I took it all away, the same way he took it all away from me! And with it? I took the notoriety, I took the fame and I took the attention of EVERY WWF fan and I focused it squarely on ME! There's not a single fan out there who doesn't know me any more! There's not a single fan who won't forget my face any time soon and all I needed? Was a steel chair and a little bit of smarts, knowing exactly what kind of war I was starting!

The deadman? It seems that nobody can slay him! It seems that nobody can truly out match him! A challenge...that's certain but a challenge that I am more than willing to face? Because on the other end of that challenge mi amigos? Is something that no amount of gold can EVER guarantee! IMMORTALITY! A place reserved just for me, in the history books of this industry, forever remembered as the man who put an end to the ghost that haunts the halls of this company! Taker? I know you are listening chico. I've already made my move, now? It'll be waiting for you to make yours. I know you won't be able to resist. One way or another? You'll come running and Ill get the match I want from you...and when I do? I can promise all of you this, right here, right now! When Razor Ramon gets into the ring with The Undertaker? You can all say GOODBYE...to the Deadman...

Ramon flicks the toothpick at at the camera, laughing as he returns his attention to the drink beside his jacuzzi, sipping away at it, as he relaxes further into the steam and the bubbles, as the vignette slowly fades away...

Kamala VS. Yokozuna

 

Kamala is easily the first star on the roster who posed any sort of challenge to Yokozuna. Whilst everyone else Yoko has stepped into the ring were short, dominant showings by the monster from Japan. This time Yokozuna was on somewhat even footing against the Ugandan Giant. Kamala. While other stars were easily laid out flat from Yokozuna's charging attacks and raw power. Kamala actually managed to put up somewhat of a fight and tried to run back and put a dent in Yoko himself. However, even though Kamala's fight against Yokozuna might be admired, his effort ended up just like the rest. After being knocked down after his head was clobbered between both of Yoko's arms. Yoko dragged Kamala over and delivered his devastating Bansai drop for yet another impressive victory!

Comes a main event match at Wrestlemania IX, for the WWF Championship! I have fortold the fortunes of My Yokozuna FROM THE VERY DAY HE ARRIVED! Some of you were foolish enough to ignore me! Some of you were foolish enough, to ignore the path of destruction that MY YOKOZUNA WAS LEAVING BEHIND! But now? THERE IS NO DENYING IT! THERE IS NO ESCAPING THE DOMINANCE OF MY YOKOZUNA!

Crush VS. Roddy Piper

 

Roddy Piper would make a triumphant return to singles action, after last night we witnessed his official return to the WWF. His first match back was not a disappointment, although it seemed clear that the Hot Rod needed to shake off some of the ring rust that he may have picked up from his time off in the ring. Up against Crush the match was a bare bones brawl. The two exchanged hard hitting blows between one another and although it seemd that Roddy was tempted to resort to his old tricks, it's clear that he was trying to show to the fans that he was not that man any more and was trying to win legitimately. Attempting at one point to hook in a double armed suplex to bring Crush down to the mat. However Roddy's return to single action would be ruined when...


Rick Martel?! The model Rick Martel makes an unwelcome appearance into the match and lays out Roddy Piper right in full view of the referee without a care! Causing Roddy to win the match via disqualification as it seems Rick Martel garners a small hint of revenge on Piper from the Royal Rumble last night...

Arrest This Man!



Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring, as always with Sensational Sherri by his side with the job of carrying his Intercontinental Championship for him, which he successfully defended against Tatanka last night at the Royal Rumble. One thing that is garnering looks of confusion and concern from members of the audience however, that alongside Shawn Michaels, are also THREE POLICE OFFICERS?! Fully clad in uniform, nightsticks holstered, Handcuffs attached to their belt, badges on show, showing that they are indeed, from the New York Area. The usual showmanship from Shawn is nowhere to be seen here tonight it seems, as he looks all business, stopping for a moment to stare down Randy Savage. The camera is able to pick up the words "I warned you..." from the Heartbreak Kid before he rolls into the ring. Sherri grabs a microphone from a ring technician and follows into the ring after Shawn, holding it in place for her client so that he can address his..."loving" audience...

Last night...last night should have been a great night for me. In case any of you cheapskates out there haven't bought the Royal Rumble Pay-Per View yet. Well...I hate to be the bearer of bad news to some you folks, but as you can see that fine piece of gold that my beautiful manager, Sensational Sheri is holding for me...that I was able to successfully defend my Intercontinental Championship last night against Tatanka LIKE I KNEW I WOULD! And whether or not any of you out there watching want to admit it? You all knew I would as well! It was going to be a GLORIOUS celebration ceremony on show here tonight! Sherri had it all planned out! From the moment we got to the hotel where...well..Sherri and I were going to have some...private celebrations of our own...to tonight where we would give you all a ceremony where we could all rejoice together in the continuing success of the WWF's GREATEST Intercontinental Champion to date. None other than myself! The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels! However...however...the jubilations had to be put on hold, when someone...who had NO BUSINESS stepping into a wrestling ring, decided to make a very grave...and unfortunate mistake...

Oh it was going to be beautiful baby. You would have loved it! I had champagne ordered ready on ice to the room, I had flowers, your favorites, red roses on the nightstand  and a hot bath drawn ready for you in the bathroom where you and I could...relax. BUT ALL OF THAT HAD TO BE CANCELLED! GOOD MONEY AND GOOD MEMORIES HAD TO BE PUT TO WASTE! ALL THANKS TO A WASHED UP! BALDING HASBEEN WHO JUST CAN'T STAND TO SEE SOMEONE SUPERIOR IN THE SPOTLIGHT!

A man...who had no right and most importantly of all NO CONTRACTUAL RIGHT! TO RUIN MY NIGHT AT THE ROYAL RUMBLE! WHEN HE JUMPED IN THE RING AND ASSAULTED ME! RANDY SAVAGE! GET YOUR OLD ASS IN THIS RING RIGHT NOW! I GOT SOME BAD NEWS FOR YOU BUDDY AND I WANT TO SAY IT TO YOU IN THIS RING! BECAUSE I SWEAR TO GOD! IT'LL BE THE LAST TIME YOU STEP INTO A RING AGAIN!



Randy doesn't hesitate, he removes the headset and steps away from the commentary table, leaving a concerned looking Vince McMahon and Rob Bartlett behind him. He slides into the ring at the joy of the fans who remember the devastating elbow drop that Randy had delivered to Shawn Michaels last night. For anybody who might not be aware, Randy Savage was actually playing the hero last night as he saved Tatanka from what would have been a vicious attack from Shawn Michaels with a steel chair. The police officers accompanying Shawn take a step forward, causing Randy to be slightly hesitant. Shawn holds out his hand, and turns to speak to the officers. "Now now boys. Give him a chance." He chuckles, before looking Macho up and down with a look of disgust.

I really should just kick your ass all over this ring right now, you know that don't you? But you know something Randy? If I did that? Legally? I wouldn't have a leg to stand on. It seems unlike YOU Randy. I'm actually more aware of the terms of your contract than you are! See once I knew that the chances of you getting back in this ring lay in MY hands! I went and took  a look and made SURE the ball was most definitely in MY court! And you? You made a GRAVE MISTAKE last night Randy! Remember what I told you? To sit there...like a good little commentator and just call my match like you were meant to? You remember that don't you Randy?

Yeah I remember...and I REMEMBER DIVING AN ELBOW RIGHT INTO YOUR CHEST!

The audience screams in joy as Shawn twitches and looks around, yelling at members of the audience to be quiet. Sherri joins in, screaming at them all to "SHUT UP!" as she tries to soothe the pain and the humiliation that her client and her man had faced last night at The Royal Rumble...

Well Randy...you REALLY should have taken my advice on that one! You really should have known your place! Taken your seat! Kept your headset on! AND CALLED MY MATCH LIKE YOU WERE MEANT TO! And afterwards? You should have just stayed silent and watched as I celebrated as I RIGHTFULLY SHOULD HAVE after my CONVINCING victory against Tatanka!

Convincing? If i remember right you needed that little snake you call a manage to hit Tatanka with her loaded heels in order to win!

You have zero right. I repeat ZERO right to lay a hand on me. You are not a contracted worker and therefore any time...I repeat ANY TIME you lay your hands on an in ring competitor Randy? That's considered assault. And I hope I don't need to remind you Randy that Assault is a serious crime, do I?

And they're here to bare witness as to whether or not you're willing to APOLOGISE for your actions last night! I'm a fair guy Randy. I'm willing to accept a heartfelt apology even after everything you've done! Even after ruining my celebrations, after assaulting me, after making a mockery out of the sport that I love! I'M STILL...willing to let it all go. If you apologize.

Randy stays silent as he looks over to Sensational Sheri, he removes his glasses and shakes his head, pacing around the ring. The crowd are chanting for Macho Man to not do it, but over on the commentary booth both Vince and Rob Bartlett are saying a trip to the big house isn't worth it. An apology will make him the bigger man...with the extended hesitation and silence Shawn steps in, not giving Randy much time to think about it

Randy leaps and tried to take a shot at The Intercontinental Champion, but as he does so the three police officers rush him and try to tackle him to the ground. Shawn jumps back in shock, managing to dodge the attempted attack from Randy Savage. Sherri quickly comes rushing to his side, primping him and making sure that he's okay, before her gaze shoots over with a smirk, as they watch Randy kick and scream and claw, trying to crawl away from the grasps of the New York Police department. Even with three officers trying to pin him down. Randy's fire and energy makes it difficult, but with his face planted into the mat and all three officers pinning him down. They are able to place a pair of handcuffs on the Macho Man as Shawn Michaels starts directing traffic

Thank you officers from saving me from ANOTHER ASSAULT at the hands of this MAN MAN! Don't you worry Randy I'LL BE PRESSING CHARGES! OFFICERS? ARREST THIS MAN! TAKE THIS PIECE OF CRAP OUT OF MY RING AND OUT OF THIS ARENA! PAY ATTENTION EVERYONE! TAKE YOUR PHOTOS WHILE YOU CAN! BECAUSE AS LONG AS I HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT? THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME YOU SEE RANDY SAVAGE IN THE WWF!

Papa Shango VS. The Undertaker

 

It was a high impact Main event tonight as The Undertaker made his first official appearance on Monday Night Raw and it was clear that last nights events were still taking their effects on The Undertaker. Papa Shango would try to utilize this weakened state of The Undertaker to his advantage and along with his voodoo magic. He almost managed to achieve that. Shango came close to putting The Undertaker away at one point in what was a back and forth, hard hitting match between the two. After a mighty body splash to Taker's damaged ribs, Shango got a close two count that signalled a worrying time for Taker from the fans. However, Paul Bearer as always had his urn at hand and as he raised it into the air. The Undertaker too, would suddenly sit up and rise, looking over to Shango. All of a sudden. Taker no longer looked like he was in his weakened state, Delivering one big boot to Shango...then another...and then a HIGH AND HARD HITTING LEG DROP! Before hoisting Shango up and delivering a DESTRUCTIVE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER FOR THE WIN!
