Issues with the Total Extreme Wrestling EXE file? To correct the issue, access your virus checker and set an exception for TEW2020.exe / TEW2016.exe / TEW2013.exe etc. You should also set an exception for c:\windows\runservice.exe (which is the eLicense service)
The following videos explains how to do it: The following procedure might also be needed when running some of the third party editors.

How To Exclude A File From Windows Defender On Windows 10
Windows Defender runs in the background to keep your system safe from malicious apps and processes. It will routinely give you alerts to let you know it ran a scan and found nothing. It also tells you when it’s found a potential threat though sometimes, it does identify the wrong file as malicious.

How To Exclude A File From McAfee Antivirus Scan | Add Exceptions In McAfee
Does McAfee Antivirus scan quarantine your file(s) automatically in real time, whenever you access them? Are you wondering how to exclude a file from mcafee antivirus scan or how to stop mcafee from deleting a file? Do you want to stop McAfee Antivirus from blocking a program? In this case, this video is for you!
In this video, I will show you how to add exceptions in McAfee i.e. exclude a file / folder from McAfee Antivirus. Please note that the McAfee Antivirus version number demonstrated in this video is v.16.0. So this solution is directly applicable to the above mentioned version number and above. If you have an older version of McAfee Antivirus, then the User Interface might differ and you may have to manually look for the options in the settings yourself.

I made an exception for the game file and the runservice for licence as well but it didn't work too, can you help me more? Thank you Add a exception and add it as a allowed app. Also double check so the TEW.exe file isn't list as a quarantine file.

By default, Windows Server uses settings that are designed to prevent an application from running unauthorized programs. These settings can interfere with the IBM OpenPages® with Watson™ installation. Configure Data Execution Prevention (DEP) before you start the installation process to prevent any issues. Procedure - Log on to the server.
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings.
- On the Advanced tab, next to the Performance heading, click Settings.
- Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
- Select Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only.
- Click OK and then restart your system to enable the change.
- Repeat these steps for each Windows server in your deployment.
What to do nextWhen the installation of all software is complete, you can disable the setting.

Hi there. I have done all of the above, done clean installs of the game and still cannot get the game to run. When i unlicenced the game and uninstalled i installed the demo which worked, but when i done a fresh install of the full game and relicensed the game i cannot get it to run at all. I am not sure why this is happening now as it worked the last time i ran the game a few months back with no issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anti virus i use is bitdefender
