Super Calo -vs- C.W. Anderson (w/ Lou E. Dangerously and Billy Wyles)
The opener is fast paced but ultimately the New Dangerous Alliance take matters into their own hands – Dangerously distracts Calo; allowing Wyles and Anderson to double team him to take their first victory on pay-per-view.
Winner: C.W. Anderson in 4:51 [19]IN-RING: The
New Dangerous Alliance continue their assault; but it doesn't last long as
Nova and
Chris Chetti clear them from the ring. Their presence in the ring brings out
Danny Doring and
Roadkill – the two teams brawl and the bell rings. [32]
Nova and Chris Chetti (w/ Jazz)
-vs- Danny Doring and Roadkill (w/ Elektra)
The two teams brawl; with Roadkill looking to take over with his size advantage. But Nova leads his team to victory with his innovative offense and a Kryptonite Krunch on Doring.
Winners: Nova and Chris Chetti in 6:52 [43]IN-RING: There was no celebration as the ECW World Champion
Mike Awesome storms the ring. He sends Roadkill flying out of the ring – launches Chetti on top of him and then drops both Nova and Doring with a diving clothesline off the top. He clears the ring and calls out
Spike Dudley – the Champ is sick of waiting and is thirsty for blood so the title match is on. [37]
ECW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Spike Dudley -vs- Mike Awesome © (w/ Judge Jeff Jones)
Spike takes an absolute beating; but he keeps on getting up. Awesome throws everything he can think of at him to try and keep him down. An Awesome Bomb from the ring into the front row can't seal the deal. A frustrated Awesome got caught with the Acid Drop off the apron through the table – but he just got his shoulder up to stay alive. Eventually, the beating caught up with Spike and an Awesome Spash through a table was enough for Awesome to retain his gold.
Winner and Still World Champion: Mike Awesome in 14:10 [53]PROMO:
New Jack talks about how he has worked his way through
Da Baldies and tonight he is gonna straight up kill
Spanish Angel and reclaim his title of “King of the Streets”. He warns Paul E. to get the ambulance on standby. [33]
New Jack -vs- Spanish Angel (w/ Tony DeVito, Vic Grimes and Redd Dogg)
New Jack looks to keep his promise and hits Angel, DeVito, Grimes and Dogg with everything including the kitchen sink. In an effective handicap match, New Jack holds his own – but he spends too much time punishing the rest of Da Baldies. Angel's first and only offensive move is a shot over the head with a guitar which he follows up with a roll-up to steal the victory.
Winner: Spanish Angel in 6:08 [33] *New Jack suffered a cracked tail bone during the match*PROMO: Hot off his questionable victory on TNN last week,
Justin Credible is confident that he and
Lance Storm will be the next Tag Team Champions. Storm knows he can trust his partner, but can
Raven and
Tommy Dreamer say the same? [49]
IN-RING: “The American Dream”
Dusty Rhodes was introduced at ringside; he was cut short by the arrival of
Steve Corino and his charges
Yoshihiro Tajiri and
Rhino. Corino talks about the Dream Partners tag match, and announces the obvious – that Rhino will be teaming with Tajiri. He calls out
Super Crazy and begs him not to choose an “old, washed-up, fat, has-been, piece of shit” like Dusty Rhodes. Dusty took exception to that, but before things could escalate –
Balls Mahoney made his way to the ring as Crazy's partner. [50]
Super Crazy and Balls Mahoney -vs- Yoshihiro Tajiri and Rhino (w/ Steve Corino and Jack Victory)
This was a fairly even tag team battle – particularly when Tajiri and Crazy squared off. Mahoney tried to take over a few times; but was always cut off – and cut in half by the dominant Rhino. The “Rookie Monster” really showcased his explosive ability and it was unsurprising when he cut down a chair-wielding Balls with a Gore to secure the victory.
Winners: Yoshihiro Tajiri and Rhino in 9:46 [40]IN-RING: After the bell, Corino jumps into the ring and all three men put the boots to Super Crazy. This lights a fuse under
Dusty Rhodes who climbs over the barrier and enters the ring. Dusty drops Tajiri and Jack Victory with a Bionic Elbow each – but Corino hides behind Rhino. Rhodes winds up and nails Rhino; who staggers backwards – but retreats out of the ring with Corino at his side. [45]

Bill Alfonso is with
Rob Van Dam and talks about his near 2-year reign as Television Champion – he's the greatest champion in wrestling today; and he will prove tonight why he is called the “Whole F'N Show” and “Mr. Pay-Per-View”. Fonzie then runs down the hall into a locker room with
Sabu – he talks about how Sabu is the craziest man in wrestling and the only man who has any chance in dethroning RVD as champion. [62]
ECW WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Rob Van Dam © (w/ Bill Alfonso)
-vs- Sabu (w/ Bill Alfonso)
As long term tag team partners, there was very little either man could do that surprised their opponent. In the early going, Sabu was more intense than usual whilst RVD kept taunting and playing to the crowd – clearly trying to get under his challenger's skin. The pair kicked it into high gear though and ended up having a classic. Ultimately, Fonzie did indeed call it “right down the middle” by passing both men chairs – but it was a Van Terminator and a Five Star Frog Splash to give Van Dam the decisive victory; one which leaves Sabu's future in ECW firmly in doubt.
Winner and Still Television Champion: Rob Van Dam in 14:42 [72]PROMO:
Tommy Dreamer and
Francine begin to talk about the
Impact Players – but
Raven saunters by and interrupts Tommy's flow. Dreamer calls after him, but gathers himself and tells Credible and Storm that they are both great and possibly the future of ECW – but they can't be the present without going through Dreamer tonight. [58]
ECW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Raven and Tommy Dreamer © (w/ Francine)
-vs- The Impact Players (Lance Storm and Justin Credible w/ Dawn Marie and Jason)
This bout was unsurprisingly chaotic. Raven and Dreamer were clearly not on the same page once again – with Raven only tagging in when he wanted and only for brief stints when they were on the offensive. This left Dreamer isolated by the Impact Players – and Credible and Storm are two of the best tag team wrestlers today. Dreamer did fight back, but his momentum was immediately halted by an Evenflow DDT from his own partner. Raven flipped him off and walked away; allowing the Impact Players a straight forward victory following a Superkick and That's Incredible – two moves that were academic as Dreamer was already out.
Winners and New Tag Team Champions: The Impact Players in 13:17 [67]IN-RING: The new champions celebrate like they had won the Super Bowl, not been gifted the titles. Credible and Storm weren't content with stealing the titles from Dreamer – they continued to beat him up after the bell. But as Storm held Dreamer and Credible lined him up with a Singapore Cane –
The Sandman arrived. As he slowly made his way to the ring, Dreamer turned the tables on Storm and dropped him with a DDT – leaving Credible to eat a vicious shot across the head with a Singapore Cane from the Sandman. We might have new champions, but Dreamer and Sandman end Guilty as Charged standing tall. [54]
