Callis: WOW! Speaking of surprises, here comes the ICON STING!!!
Striker: This is already amazing. Sting is a 12-time World Champion in his own right. These two men are on Wrestling’s Mt. Rushmore for sure!
(Sting and Angle embrace and Kurt hands Sting the mic.)
Sting: Wooooo! We are live tonight! How’s everybody doing!
Striker: What the hell could Sami Callihan and OVE want? Angle and Sting deserve respect.
Callis: Sami Callihan doesn’t respect anyone or anything
Callihan: It’s bad enough that I get to his shit hole and find out that the Draw Sami Callihan isn’t even booked for the debut of Prime Wrestling but then I find out that the show is opening with you two fossils!? No, not gonna happen. So you two better get out of my ring before I break your bones more than osteoporosis already has!
Sting: We weren’t here to fight but if you three want some. Come get it!
(Angle and Sting square up, out numbered 3-2 against OVE. Callihan and his goons attack, using their number advantage to get the better of the Hall of Famers. Things look bleak for Sting and Angle until…..
Striker: my god Don it’s Mance Warner. Ol’ Mancer is here!
Callis: Normally I’m never happy to see this lunatic but Callihan was out of line. Thank god Mance Warner is here.
(Warner walks to the ring as the fans sing along with Simple Man. When he finally enters the ring, Warner attacks Callahan with rights and lefts while Sting drops Fulton. Warner delivers a Cactus clothesline, sending them both out. Jake Crist is left in the ring with Sting and Angle. The legends take turns pummeling Crist as Warner rolls back in the ring. Crist turns to him and Warner delivers an Eye Poke to Crist who then turns into an Angle Slam!!! Sting then Locks Crist in the Scorpion Death Lock as the faces and fans celebrate. Crist is finally let go and Sami pulls him out of the ring. Fulton throws him over his shoulder and carries him to the back as Sami yells at the faces.)
(Sting gets on the mic again.)
Sting: Ladies and Gentlemen Mance Warner!!! (He hands Warner the mic.)
Mancer: Hey baby Ol’ Mancer is gonna talk to ya tonight. New York City, sky scrapers and everything. You all see, Ol’ Mancer is from Bucksnort Tennessee. It was there that I learned to fight, and drink and run around with women but I ain’t gonna get into that. I’ll save that for the shoot interview, baby. The red light is on. Let me talk to ya tonight. It feels damn good to be here in New York City on Prime Wrestling. Now wherever Ol’ Mancer drives his pick up truck he is sure to bring some Light Beer and that’s his home. And my pickup is parked outside, I hope it don’t get towed and I’ve got some light beers right here, so that makes Prime Wrestling Ol’ Mancer’s home. Sami Callihan, you and Ol’ Mancer, we go back baby. I know what you’re all about. You like to tear things down to raise yourself up but that ain’t gonna happen not on Ol’ Mancer’s watch. We got a great thing here in Prime Wrestling and Ol’ Maner gonna use these two bad boys (he lifts his fists) to make sure it stays that way. Gimmie my light beer.
(Warner begins drinking and celebrating with fans as we go to break.)
Striker: Fans if you are just joining us, first of all “why”? But second of all you missed a fire first segment that saw Sting, Kurt Angle and Mance Warner dispatch Sami Callihan and the rest of OVE. It was wild action.
Callis: It certainly was and speaking of action, here comes the Briscoes!!!
(The fans in NYC are firmly behind the Briscoes as a massive “Man Up” chant breaks out).
Striker: The greatest tag team of this generation, Jay and Mark have earned the adoration of the fans.
Callis: But this isn't a farewell tour by any means. The Briscoes are at the top of their game. No better anchor for the Prime Wrestling tag team division.
(Streamers hit the ring as Jay and Mark grab microphones.)
Jay: New York Mutha F’N City we are all the way live on Amazon Prime and The Briscoes are here! These days in wrestling everybody is talkin’ about tag team and claimin’ to be the best. You got pretty bitches, vanilla jabronis, unicorns, all claimin’ to be the best tag team in the world but they all forgot about the mutha ****in’ Briscoes. Me and Chicken, we’ve been climbing this mountain we call pro wrestling for 18 damn years and today we stand on top this is mutha. Millions of people have a chance to see what we do best and that’s whip ass! We do what we want, we run this shit. We’re about to put the pro wrestling world on notice. Dem Boys are about to crank this shit up to 1000%.
The Briscoes are interrupted by Tom Lattimore and Royce Isaacs, the Wild Cards
Callis: What in the hell are Tom Lattimore and Royce Isaacs doing here?
Striker: Those two men, collectively known as the Wild Cards, are the NWA world tag team champions.
Callis: Exactly! Is the National Wrestling Alliance part of Prime All-Star Wrestling?
(Before Callis’s question can be answered, the Wild Cards get the mic.)
Lattimore: Briscoe Brothers who the hell do you think you are?
Mark Briscoe: Why don’t you get your ass in this ring and we’ll show you just who we are.
Isaacs: You’d like that wouldn’t you? Well that’s not going to happen until you two realize that you are in our world. You want to talk about being the best tag team in the world? Well you are looking at the best tag team in the National Wrestling Alliance. The premiere promotion in wrestling history. Everyone who is anyone has held the NWA Tag Team titles and you’re looking at the NWA’s best. So you can’t even dream of calling yourselves the best tag team in the world unless you beat us.
Jay: Ain’t no time like the present mutha ****a. Get in here and we’ll beat your asses right now. Unless ya’ll are pussies.
(Obviously, those are fighting words and Wild Cards make their way to the ring.)
Striker: It looks like The Wild Cards accepts. I think we have a match!
Callis: That we do, the Briscoes are going to take on the Wild Cards!
The Briscoes v. The Wild Cards
Jay and Isaacs look to begin, but it immediately breaks down and they all brawl. Wild Cards powders and get chairs but drop them. Lattimore and Mark in now, they lock up and trade shoulder tackles and Lattimore lays in rights. Isaacs tags back in and double team Jay. Mark tosses in a chair, and Isaacs throws it back at him allowing Mark to attack Lattimore. Everyone to the floor and Mark is cut off by Isaacs. Jay low bridges Isaacs to the floor and Mark follows with a blockbuster. They slam Isaacs to the barricade and then double team Lattimore. Back in and the champions double team Isaacs in their corner. Mark lays the boots to Isaacs, Jay tags in and more double teams follow. Jay now lays in uppercuts, and then grounds Isaacs, isolating him in their half of the ring. The double teams continue and Mark slams Isaacs to the barricade. Jay joins in for double teams, Mark rolls Isaacs back in and Jay covers for 2. Mark tags back in and continues to punish Isaacs in the corner. Mark hits a rolling DVD, heads up top but rolls through on the elbow drop and runs into a blue thunder bomb but Jay cuts off the tag. Isaacs rolls and tags in Lattimore, who runs wild on the champions. The backstabber follows and then a corner dropkick. The DDT/Stunner combo gets 2 for Lattimore. Sky checks on Lattimore, as the Briscoes isolate Isaacs and Mark hits a brainbuster for 2. Trainers are out to check on Lattimore, but Mark hits redneck boogie on Isaacs for 2. Mark tags in and Isaacs continues to fight them off, hits the double clothesline and looks for a tag, but there is no Lattimore. The Briscoes look for doomsday, but Isaacs counters into a cradle and dumps Jay. Uranage by Isaacs and a moonsault connects for a great near fall as Jay makes the save. They dump Isaacs and Jay hits the Jay driller on the floor. He rolls Isaacs back in and covers for 2. Jay looks for another and hits it and Isaacs is done.
Winners: The Briscoes
– Post-match the NWA world Champion, Nick Aldis runs down and drills both Briscoes with a chair. Isaacs and Lattimore vertical suplexes Jay over the top rope to the floor. the Wild Cards sets up a table in the ring. They lay Mark on it and Isaacs crushes him through the table with a big splash.
Striker: Fans, we just saw the NWA make its presence known in ASW and to the surprise of no one, the Briscoes are burning mad and have demanded the Wild Cards next week.
Don: And the Prime Wrestling has made the match. Next week our main event will be the Wild Cards with NWA World Champion Nick Aldis versus the Briscoes and a mystery partner.
Striker: What a huge match and up next we have another huge match. Don, as Prime Wrestling brings together some of the best wrestlers in the world we are striving to keep things from each company unique and Don, as an Impact wrestling executive, you know that the X Division was a calling card of Impact for over a decade.
Callis: That’s right Striker. The X Division has been home to some of the greatest athletes this sport has ever seen. Future world champions and hall of famers have worn that prestigious belt and we’re bringing it to the Prime Wrestling. What’s going to make the X division unique in the Prime Wrestling is the way the champion will be defending the title always known for its high flying athletic action that won’t be the only thing in the Prime Wrestling. The champion may be asked to defend his title one night and a ladder match on the next night in a street fight. One dimensional wrestlers need not apply for the X division.
Striker: and in the spirit of the nonstop action that is the X division we are going to be having a series of qualifying matches over the next few weeks to determine the top eight contenders for this prestigious championship the winners of the eight qualifying matches will go on to face each other and what we are terming the ultimate elimination match.
Callis: but this is no normal elimination match kid. What makes this match unique is that it will be two teams of four but the match will not until there is only one survivor and he will be crowned the X division champion.
Striker: that means that there could be very interesting strategy in this match done do you save your teammate or do you allow him to get pinned do teammates end up facing off against each other at the end of the match strategy and athleticism is what the X division has been built upon and it’s what it will continue to be here in Prime Wrestling. And we are very excited that we will be giving you the very first qualifying match next as two of the top X division style wrestlers in the world today are going to face off right now. Let’s go to our ring announcer, Bobby Cruise.
Cruise: The following contest is set for one fall (one fall) and is a qualifying match for the Ultimate Elimination match. Introducing first
Weighing in at 174 pounds, hailing from Dayton Ohio...Zachary Wentz
Striker: Don, Wentz is an elite athlete. At only 25 years old, he is already at the top of the sport.
Don: No doubt about that. He has performed all over the world, in front of the biggest crowds and held championships everywhere he’s been.
Cruise: And his opponent, he weighed in at 187 pounds and hails from Kalispell, Montana….FLIP Gordon!
(On his way to the ring, Flip gets an inset promo)
Gordon: The first-ever Prime Wrestling Collision and I have an opportunity to qualify for a shot at one of the most prestigious belts in wrestling, the X-Division title. This is the biggest night of my career. And Wentz, I know how good you are and I know I’m in for a fight but make no mistake, I’m winning tonight.
Striker: Don, Flip is very confident and why shouldn't he be. Not only has he already accomplished so much in the world of wrestling, he previously spent 6 years in the Army National Guard as an explosive expert.
Don: That kind of training has made him calm under pressure that’s for sure. And his steady hand is going to be necessary tonight in this pressure cooker of a match.
Flip Gordon v. Wentz
They lock up and work for position, Wentz attacks with kicks, but Flip fires back and they trade strikes. The dropkick takes Wentz to the floor; Flip hits an apron PK and moonsault to the floor. Back in and Flip covers for 2. Flip lays in chops, but Wentz cuts him off and hits the seated senton. Wentz chokes him out in the corner, and then works a cravat. He grounds things and maintains control. Back to the cravat by Wentz, he keeps it grounded, and then covers for 2. Flip fights to his feet, escapes, and hits a missile dropkick. The suicide dive follows and Flip brings it back in. He heads up top, and follows with a blockbuster for 2. Wentz cuts him off and hits the sliding German. The rolling DVD and shining wizard connects for 2. They work into some counters; Flip hits a knee strike and a falcon arrow for 2. Wentz avoids the 450, but Flip hits Samoan drop. He misses the running shooting star press, allowing Wentz to try to get a cross face. Flip gets to the ropes and forces a break. Wentz up top but Flip crotches him. Kinder surprise follows. Flip goes for the 450 but eats knees. Wentz begins to pick Flip up but Flip quickly counters back and gets a jackknife bridge and cradles Wentz for the win.
Winner: Flip Gordon
Striker: What a match and what a huge win for Flip Gordon as he is the first to advance to the Ultimate Elimination match and an opportunity to become the X Division champion.
Don: He absolutely does but he will have stiff competition in that match, no doubt and one man who proves to be some of the best competition is this man…
(We are thrown to a video package of Low Ki kicking a heavy bag. He voices his own video package)
Low Ki: I’ve been a professional wrestler since 2002. I am a 5-time X Division champion. Every time I show up, I walk in and I am an immediate threat for every championship. And that is why the Prime Wrestling roster is officially on notice. Be ready.
Striker: Low Ki is sure to make an impact and Don another man that is sure to make an impact is this man.
(Mark Haskins is already in the ring. As Richard Holliday and Alexander Hammerstone make their way down. Holliday has a mic and cuts a promo on the way.)
Holliday: Wrestling has a future but only if a company is ready to invest in top stars. And Prime Wrestling has proven it will do that as it has invested, heavily, in the Dynasty Alexander Hammerston and myself, Richard Holliday. And trust me when I tell you that all you consumers will be very happy with Prime’s biggest investment.
Alexander Hammerstone v. Mark Haskins
This is a showcase for Hammerstone. Haskins bumps all around for Hammerstone. Hammer finishes him off with the Nightmare Pendulum.
Winner: Alexander Hammerstone
Don: Absolute dominance by Alexander Hammerstone. He is absolutely one of the most dangerous men in professional wrestling.
Striker: An absolute hybrid athlete. Hammerstone has the power of the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith but the athleticism of Smith’s long time tag team partner, The Dynamite Kid Tom Billington.
Don: It’s that combination that will make Hammerstone a world champion here in Prime Wrestling
When we return from break we are taken to a pre recorded video of Eddie Edwards. He is alone in the back of the building.
Edwards: I’ve been wrestling for nearly 20 years. For 20 years I have waited, not patiently, but I’ve waited. I’ve waited for the opportunity to be the top man in the biggest wrestling company in the business. It has all led to this moment, this time in history when I can look into a camera and show the world what I’m all about. That time has come and, damn it, I’m not going to let this opportunity pass me by. So tonight I’m going to go out there with this, the Impact World Championship, and in the main event and show everyone that Eddie Edwards is the best.
(In the back Sami Callihan is still steaming mad. Melissa Santos is there for comment)
Santos: Sami Callihan, earlier you interrupted Kurt Angle and Sting as they were introducing everyone to Prime Wrestling but Mance Warner quickly came down to even the odds.
Callihan: Don’t you think I know what happened?! I was there! I know full well that Mance Warner jumped me from behind. But I know something that all of you don’t. I know that Warner just made the biggest mistake of his life. Mance Warner I’m going to show you why you don’t mess with the Callihan Death Machine.
Striker: An incensed Sami Callihan has vowed revenge on Mance Warner. But now it’s time to get back to the action with AirWolf who is already in the ring. Let’s find out who his opponent will be.
Callis: Oh Jesus, not this guy!
Austin Aries v. AirWolf
Aries works leg kicks to begin, and then grounds the action as they scramble for position. AirWolf counters back, but Aries escapes and teases the last chancery until AirWolf makes the ropes. They lock up and Aries picks up the pace and follows with arm drags. Lock up again and AirWolf trips up Aries and follows with a shotgun dropkick for 2. He follows with another dropkick and covers for 2. Aries powders, AirWolf follows, and stuns Aries off the ropes and the cutter gets 2. Aries powders again, and AirWolf hits an apron PK. Back in and AirWolf heads up top and is cut off. He then battles back, but Aries counters turbo backpack and follows with grounded strikes. He delivers knee strikes, and then the second rope elbow connects for 2. They trade, but Aries hits a neck breaker in the ropes.
AirWolf cuts off the suicide dive, and follows with a slingshot DDT. Both men battle to their feet and they trade strikes and chops. AirWolf avoids the dropkick and he follows with a shotgun dropkick but Aries cradles him and locks on the last chancery, but AirWolf makes the ropes.
Aries follows with knee strikes, and AirWolf hits an enziguri but Aries then drops him on his head with an apron DVD. Back in and the Aries 450 eats knees. The ushigoroshi by AirWolf follows for 2. AirWolf up top and the senton eats knees. Aries hits the shotgun dropkick and brainbuster for the win.
After the victory Aries grabs the mic.
Aries: what’s up Cyrus, you missed me? Even though I haven’t been on social media since leaving Impact Wrestling doesn’t mean he hasn’t been busy. I’ve been keeping tab on every move made in professional wrestling and then I saw that formation of Prime Wrestling between three promotions that I have dominated. Three promotions in which I have held every title there is to hold. So I’m intimately familiar with Prime Wrestling and due to that familiarity, I know that everyone involved with this promotion is full of shit. I know the management will stab you in the back as soon as look at you. And I knew that the only way to protect the business from viruses like you (he points at Callis) and sheep like them (he gestures to the fans) is from the inside. I know you can’t make a change from the sidelines and I know in this business you have to do the screwing before you get screwed. So here I am A Double, the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived, here to make all the parasites in professional wrestling jealous. And you want to know why I’m doing that? Because I can.
Callis: Jesus that guy is such an arrogant prick.
Striker: Don, I know your history with Austin Aries goes back quite a ways but there is no denying that he is an elite competitor.
Callis: He’s good but if he was even half as good as he thinks he is he wouldn’t have to whine about getting what he deserves.
Striker: Well I hope you can remain objective when it comes to Aries but be that as it may, we are just moments away from our main event. Our very first main event of Prime Wrestling and it is going to be for the Impact World Championship as champion Eddie Edwards issues an open challenge.
Callis: That's right, Eddie Edwards is nothing if not a fighting champion and he wanted to give any man in the locker room a chance at this championship.
Striker: And here comes the Impact World Champion.
Striker: He won that title on February 11th on Impact Wrestling.
Callis: It is his second run with that belt and he is a great representative of Prime Wrestling as a champion.
(Edwards is given an ovation from the crowd. He goes to all four turnbuckles and holds his title up high, showing his appreciation to the fans until he finally gets a microphone.)
Edwards: When I won the Impact World Championship I vowed to be a fighting champion. I vowed to defend this belt every single week and that isn’t going to change now that I’m here in Prime Wrestling. I will be the fighting champion this company and this business deserves. So if there is anyone in the back who wants a shot at my World Championship now is your chance. Get out here and try to take it from me!
(Suddenly the lights go out in the arena…
Striker: My God that’s...that’s the Contra Unit from MLW.
Callis: Along with the MLW World Champion, Jacob Fatu.
Striker: Contra Unit has answered Eddie Edwards’s open challenge. And it’s going to be Jacob Fatu!
(Contra Unit comes out in full force with Josef Samael, Simon Gotch, Ikura Kwan and Jacob Fatu. Josef Samael takes the microphone.)
Samael: Eddie Edwards you have just made a grave mistake. The Contra Unit is here to destroy Prime Wrestling, just as we destroyed MLW. The mighty will fall and Eddie Edwards, you will be the first casualty. We will take what you hold most dear, the Impact World Championship. However Eddie Edwards this is not our first mission we already have the spoils of the war we won on MLW. This right here, the MLW World Championship. And Eddie Edwards we want your best so consider that a carrot for you. We will defend our golden challis while you defend yours.
Callis: Has Josef Samael just put the MLW title on the line too?
Striker: I think so, I think we have a title unification match. Impact World Champion versus MLW World Champion. It’s about to get going!
Impact World Champion Eddie Edwards v. MLW World Champion Jacob Fatu
They lock up and work to the ropes for a clean break. Fatu then starts tossing him around. Edwards follows with strikes, hits a dropkick and Fatu cuts him off with an uppercut. He follows with head butts, but misses the senton as Edwards hits the cannonball for 2. Fatu cuts him off with a superkick and strikes. head butts follow and Fatu then lays in strikes and a corner splash. He hits another, follows with more strikes and stomps away at him. Edwards fires back with kicks until Fatu cuts him off with a head butt. Cheap shot by Samael and Fatu lays in strikes on the floor. Back in Edwards battles to his feet, but Fatu mows him down. Edwards fires up again Fatu plants him with a powerbomb for 2. They work into a double down. Edwards fights back with enziguri, a Superkick and another. He heads up top and hits the missile dropkick. Fatu rolls to the floor, and Edwards follows with a suicide dive. Back in and Edwards wants the Boston Knee Party. He goes for it but Fatu pops to his feet, catches Edwards and hits a powerbomb! Fatu covers 1...2...EDWARDS KICKS OUT.
Fatu backs Edwards into the corner and lays in chops. Fatu backs to the opposite corner and delivers a devastating hip attack to the seated Edwards. Edwards is in a bad way and he rolls out of the ring where Gotch puts the boots to him while Fatu distracts the ref. Fatu follows him outside and is on the attack. Fatu then misses a chop and hits the post. They roll back in and we get a suplex by Fatu and Edwards is favoring his knee. Fatu looks for another corner ass attack but Edwards avoids a charge and follows with a high cross. Fatu is dazed and Edwards is looking for the Boston Knee Party. Gotch is in with a chair but Edwards drop kicks it into his face. the ref tries to get Gotch out of the ring. This distraction allows Samael to enter the ring and Crush Edwards' head with another steel chair.
Edwards is staggering all around and Fatu hits the popup Samoan drop on Edwards. The back handspring moonsault follows and THEN FATU SCALES THE ROPES AND HITS THE DOUBLE JUMP MOONSAULT.
Fatu pins Eddie Edwards for the 1...2...3!
Winner and Undisputed Prime Wrestling World Champion: Jacob Fatu
Striker: The Contra Unit just stole the World Title from Eddie Edwards!!!
Callis: But they’re not done Striker!
Gotch, Samael and Fatu put the boots to Edwards but the Wolf tries to fight back. That momentum is thwarted when Josef Samael delivers THE FIRE BALL TO THE FACE OF CAGE!!!!!
Striker: Oh my God! What just happened?! Contra just threw fire in Eddie Edwards’s face!
Callis: This is out of hand. Somebody get out here!
Gotch and Samael put a steel chair around Edwards’s neck and Fatu delivers his springboard moonsault, PILLMANIZING EDDIE EDWARDS’S NECK as the camera fades to black!
