What kind of things can be done with SQLite? Modmakers get a very good overview.
By using SQ Lite and Excel/Google Sheets/Open Office Calc you can mass edit, use filters, replace content and convert database information from TEW to PWS (the data that isn't converted by the default converter since the data isn't available in the limited create MDB file used).
This is how I convert and transfer data from TEW to PWS (1992 and 1994 mods). Events, TV shows, relationships, substance abuses, promotion opening dates...

Is there a way to create a new database and then add wrestlers from another database? Yes, you can create a new database and then use the import function to import workers and other database content. |

You can't turn the wrestling skills into boxing skills. So if you add boxers, you need to set them up as wrestlers. |

Looking for any ideas. I have converted a TEW mod for PWS and it is a historical 1970 territories mod originally done by Mammoth. I'm trying to figure out how to get the TV to show up a bit more realistic for the time. At this point the big two Japan promotions are getting 500k viewers plus per week, while the AWA is drawing 40K. this seems to be a bit off (I have limited the Networks to the areas they originally covered, not sure if this is a great idea or not). I'm not a really technical person for this type of stuff so if your answers could be in plain English and not tech talk, I would appreciate it. The second question I have is how to set the midget wrestlers and females in some promotions to be more of a special attraction (as they were used) rather than a typical worker. Any ideas would be appreciated.
This is my first attempt at modding besides creating a few company and event logos for my TEW games, please be gentle. It's been much more work than I had anticipated.
