Hi all,
I will be booking cards for those superstars that I did not select for the main show. The shows will take place every Wednesday night, televised. Here is the squad (18) that have been in a quarantine hub for 14 days leading up to the first show:
Week 1: Practice night- no televised matches
Week 2: Wednesday March 10, 2021 (Show length: 60 minutes) (No live attendance; Fan interaction online)
Scheduled matches (all of the following matches have an 8 minute time limit)
* Rey Mysterio w/ Aalyah Mysterio vs Wesley Blake
* Natalya w/ Mickie James vs Liv Morgan w/ Ruby Riott
* Buddy Murphy vs Jaxson Ryker
* Dolph Ziggler vs Apollo Crews
* Main Event: Big E Langston vs Mustafa Ali
Note: Seth Rollins, Robert Roode, Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin (and Carmella) have fallen out of favour with the Smackdown booking team because of past performances.
Pre-show: 10 minutes before airing begins, viewers see Seth Rollins banging on the door of this show's General Manager (GM) , ranting and raving because he has been left off the card. He threatens anyone and leaves hustling.
The show
1. Introduction pyro & Commentary. The commentators explain that you, the viewer, are welcome to join the Smackdown 'B Squad' on Wednesday nights as we hold three shows on March 10, 17 & 24. But right now there is something bizarre going on in the ring...
2. Seth Rollins is shown sitting on a steel chair with microphone in hand a la Randy Savage from WCW Nitro. Seth says he is not leaving until he gets what he wants. He will sit out all night if he has to. Rey Mysterio w/ Aalyah and Wesley Blake come to the ring to contest the first match. However there is confusion as Rollins is still sitting in the centre of the ring. Rollins explains that he is furious with Smackdown officials because he has been left off cards lately. He says there are other wrestlers backstage who feel the same way. Mysterio & Blake ask Rollins to leave but he refuses. Rollins says there are four of us who will continue to interfere with this show unless there are changes made in our favour. There is some inaudible talk among the three wrestlers in-ring. Seth Rollins asks Wesley Blake to join 'Team Rollins'. Wesley Blake sides with Rollins. (5 minutes). By now, an official is standing on stage. He/She is eager to move the show along so books Rey Mysterio vs Rollins (in street gear) & Blake in a handicap match hastily.
3. Match 1: Seth Rollins & Wesley Blake def Rey Mysterio w/ Buddy Murphy & Aalyah Mysterio (pinfall) (3:30 minutes). Note: Post match: Mysterio is grimacing with pain after the beating.
4. Commercial break
5. Match 2: Natalya w/ Mickie James def Liv Morgan w/ Ruby Riott via DQ (5 minutes)
6. Jaxson Ryker is taken out backstage by Baron Corbin & Robert Roode. Murphy vs Ryker will not take place tonight.
7. Interaction between Rollins and Murphy in the locker-room. Rollins says it's only a matter of time until officials mis-treat him as well. Rollins asks Murphy to come to the fold as the disciple and sign up to his newly formed group's agenda. Murphy walks away from Rollins in silence.
8. Match 3: Apollo Crews def Dolph Ziggler (pinfall) (7:30 minutes)
9. Sami Zayn comes out to dance to his theme music. (2:30 minutes)
10. Match 4: Mickie James def. Carmella (Submission) (3:30 minutes)
11. Baron Corbin, Robert Roode, Seth Rollins and Wesley Blake are shown leaving for the evening.
12. Main Event: Match 1 of 2: Big E def. Mustafa Ali by pinfall via the big ending. (7:45 minutes)
