15th July 2021Warfare is live from Columbus Ohio as we are just over one month away from Blood In The Sand! The pyro explodes and we go down to our commentary team of Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness!
Ranallo: ”It’s a hot July evening here this Thursday as it is every Thursday when PWU is in town! Welcome to Warfare this week, and tonight a double main event!……..”
McGuinness: ”That’s right, we have Kenny Omega finally getting his opportunity to get his hands on The Young Bucks in a handicap match tonight! What a battle that will be and will The Bullet Club get involved?”
Ranallo: ”Also tonight, the team of CM Punk and Samoa Joe will take on Killer Kross and Brother Levi in tag team action! That promises to be a war especially when you consider the battles that have raged on between these guys in the last couple of weeks! For now though, it’s time to kick things off with Andrade and Rob Van Dam!”
We see brief highlights of how this match came about last week when RVD answered Castagnoli’s open challenge for the International Championship but the match ended on a DQ as Andrade interfered! Before this match, Claudio Castagnoli comes out to colour commentate this match!
Rob Van Dam vs. ‘El Idolo’ Andrade This one starts off with a lock up between these men and after some chain wrestling, RVD sends Andrade off the ropes, does the splits to duck a clothesline attempt and catches Andrade coming back with a monkey flip! RVD hits stiff forearms to the face before whipping Andrade into the turnbuckle, RVD goes for the shoulders into the gut but Andrade moves, which leads RVD to charge shoulder first into the ring post! Andrade then perches himself on the second turnbuckle and hits a jumping armbar DDT. Andrade takes over in offence and hits a nice tilt a whirl backbreaker which results in a two count. Andrade wears down Van Dam with a sleeper hold but after the crowd cheer RVD on, RVD manages to escape driving his elbows to the ribs of Andrade before hitting a spinning heel kick! RVD then hits a roundhouse kick which sends Andrade to the outside! RVD follows up with a sommersault plancha on to Andrade outside the ring! The two men battle on the outside near the announce table with Andrade slamming RVD’s head into it before he throws Van Dam directly at Castagnoli across the announce table!! RVD knocks Castagnoli off his chair as Andrade crawls back into the ring and taunts the crowd. RVD recovers first and slides back into the ring. The match continues with Andrade in control, but Castagnoli recovers on the outside of the ring. Claudio takes his International Title belt and while the referee is checking on RVD, Castagnoli jumps up on the ring apron and clobbers Andrade in the face with it! Andrade walks into a roundhouse kick and RVD ascends to the top turnbuckle for the 5 Star Frog Splash and connects!! Van Dam covers, 1………2……3! What a way to kick off Warfare!
Castagnoli enters the ring and raises RVD’s hand before the two head to the back leaving Andrade furious holding his ribs in the ring!
Ranallo: ”What a win for RVD!! He had a little help from Castagnoli but it will go down as a win for the former Mr Monday Night!”
McGuinness: ”What a great way to start the show, a great match between a veteran and a young up and coming star. Andrade is furious!”
We go backstage where we see Bobby Lashley arriving, as Lashley walks through in his suit we see Matt Riddle approach him! “Broo…..I think we can both agree that you got lucky at Battleground against me. Just to let you know, I haven’t forgotten about you and how you turned your back on me. You told me I needed to get serious and at this moment, I’ve never been more serious……about beating you….I want a rematch….” Lashley smirks “What is your issue with me? You’re very lucky I don’t throw you through that wall right now but I’ll just simply put it like this…..you’re not in my league…” Lashley goes to walk off but Riddle stops him “Kinda like you weren’t in the same league as the others in that contender’s match two weeks ago?” Lashley stops, turns and charges at Riddle but Riddle judo throws him to the concrete before brawling on the floor with him! Other wrestlers come out from the locker room to break this fight up!
Ranallo: ”It’s clear that the issue with Matt Riddle and Bobby Lashley isn’t over yet!”
Pac vs. Ricochet The return of Ricochet on Warfare taking on the Xcite Championship number one contender, Pac! This one starts off at a quick pace, Pac attacking Ricochet before the bell as Ricochet poses on the second turnbuckle. Pac delivers hard kicks in the corner to Ricochet followed by whipping him off the ropes and catching him with a powerslam! Pac slows the match down slightly knowing this style of wrestling favours him more than Ricochet. Pac hits several hard hitting power manoeuvres including a gutwrench suplex and a snap suplex. Pac locks Ricochet in an Indian death lock trying to focus on weakening the knee. After a couple of minutes, Ricochet reaches the ropes. Pac goes for a standing shooting star but Ricochet moves allowing Ricochet back into the match! Ricochet gets in a flurry of offence including a slingblade, a dropsault and a nice headscissor take down! Ricochet thinks he has the match won after executing a cradle with a pinning bridge but Pac just gets out at two! The match continues with Ricochet showing his impressive aerial offence as well his quickness. Ricochet heads to the top rope after a nice DDT counter to a Northern lights suplex attempt from Pac! Ricochet goes for the 720 splash but Pac got the knees up!! Pac capitalises and locks Ricochet in the Brutaliser to pick up the victory!
Ranallo: ”Pac picking up momentum heading in to his showdown with Kevin Steen at Blood In The Sand! Impressive win there.”
McGuinness: ”Not all plain sailing for Pac though despite this victory! Ricochet with a very good performance….”
We go backstage where we see the PWU World Champion Aleister sitting in a darkened room. “Tonight…..The Anarchy will be unleashed on CM Punk and Samoa Joe. I’d like to get more involved in that battle but I trust my brothers to get the job done. Although recently, certain brothers may need to prove their worth and show why exactly I bought them here…..I’m talking about you AJ. Tonight I’ve decided that you’re going to be in the main event instead of Brother Levi. I need you to show that aggression, that spark, the reason I bought you into The Anarchy. The last couple of weeks since Battleground, I’ve watched you become weak. Tonight, I want you to show me what you give to The Anarchy. Now that’s out the way……I can address you Jon Moxley. You’re just like the others. You’re just like CM Punk, Drew Galloway, Kenny Omega and anybody else that gets in my path. Well Jon the result at Blood In The Sand will be the same and it will end with you having your head spun around by my kick and me retaining my title. You’ll be another statistic in the path of destruction I’ve left before me so far. We’ve already taken you down twice, don’t make that same mistake tonight because The Anarchy will leave you laying again…..and again….”
Ranallo: ”A chilling message from the champion, and interesting that in tonight’s main event it will now be AJ Styles teaming with Killer Kross!”
McGuinness: ”Will there be any repercussions for AJ if his team doesn’t get the job done tonight? I wouldn’t wanna be in AJ’s shoes right now that’s for sure!”
Santana and Ortiz vs. DIY Two teams in contention for a Tag Team Title match! Some really good tag team wrestling on display in this one, Santana and Ortiz get the early advantage in the match working over Johnny Gargano for a period of time. Santana hits Gargano with the three amigos and goes for a cover but only a two count. Gargano gets himself back into the match after Santana misses a springboard moonsault. Gargano hits stiff kicks to Santana’s chest and a basement dropkick right to the face. Gargano drags Santana to his corner and tags in Tommaso! DIY whip Santana off the ropes and hit a nice double falling hiptoss. Tommaso uses his aggressive style to isolate Santana for a while but Santana’s quickness allows him back into the match after a ducked clothesline attempt followed by a springboard cross body! Santana makes his way over and tags in Ortiz! Ortiz comes in like a house on fire, clotheslines dished out to Gargano and Tomasso. The match breaks down with all four men in the ring, Ortiz hits a nice flapjack to a charging Gargano before clotheslining him over the top rope and out! Tommaso hits a german suplex pin on Ortiz from behind and gets a near fall! Santana then hits an enziguiri from behind knocking Tommaso down before a catapult into a dropkick from Santana! The action is all over the place when Gargano re-enters the match, DIY get some offence back in. We cut mid match to see The Young Bucks watching this match backstage on a monitor. We come back and Ortiz has Tommaso set up on his shoulders with Santana perched on the top turnbuckle! Assisted blockbuster powerbomb combo! Ortiz covers, 1……..2…….3! The crowd cheer as Santana and Ortiz celebrate their victory!
Ranallo: ”A huge win for Santana and Ortiz!! Surely now, they must be in line for a shot against The Young Bucks!”
McGuinness: ”Well…..I think The Good Brothers may have something to say about that!”
Up next, Dr Britt Baker DMD and her boyfriend Adam Cole make their way out to the ring! Baker takes the mic, “I realise that we weren’t scheduled to be out here next but I want to address our old……past it…..spotlight hogging Women’s Champion Mickie James! You see Mickie, I am coming for your Women’s Championship and I will bring that title back with me to The Bullet Club! So I’m challenging your haggard old ass to a Women’s Championship match at Blood In The Sand!! So why don’t you come out here and accept my challenge, we don’t have to wait until Blood In The Sand!” Much to Britt’s annoyance, we see the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Nick Aldis appear on the stage with a microphone in hand! Mickie appears behind him but doesn’t speak. “Poor little naive Britt…..you really think you deserve a title opportunity against my wife? I don’t think so. Who’s that with you by the way Britt, I haven’t seen him on TV for a while?” Aldis smirks as the crowd respond with ohhhh’s. Aldis continues, “You can stand there next to your boyfriend and demand what you want but I don’t think you really know what you want? I mean look at your boyfriend, he allowed you to get dropped on your head on the ramp at Battleground and didn’t do anything to prevent it! Now that’s not a man…..not like me.” Britt looks at Cole as he gets more angry. Cole snatches the mic from Britt “Shut your mouth Aldis!! That situation was out of my control! Now look, this may of started with our ladies fighting but this escalated into a big issue between all four of us! So here’s what I propose unless you are a coward which I suspect you are…..” Aldis interrupts “Save it Adam!!! I’m not giving you any sort of match next week, you aren’t worth my energy, I’m the NWA World Heavyweight Champion whereas you’re currently best known in PWU as being Britt Baker’s bitch…..” Cole smirks and responds “I’d rather be Britt Baker’s bitch than have to drag my old ass wife around having everybody thinking shes my mom!!” The crowd cheer as Aldis is furious! Cole continues. “As I was saying you stupid limey, how about all four of us battle it out at Blood In The Sand in a mixed tag team match! You and Mickie both put your titles on the line in a winner take all tag match….unless of course you’re both scared of losing your titles to us!” Nick Aldis is riled up “Fine!!! It’ll be a pleasure for us to kick your arses!!!” Mickie James looks annoyed as Nick Aldis leads her away holding her hand. Cole and Baker embrace in the ring.
Ranallo: ”Wow!! What a match that will be! Both titles, the PWU Women’s Championship and the NWA World Championship on the line in a mixed tag team match!”
McGuinness: ”I don’t think Mickie was too thrilled that Nick accepted that challenge on their behalf!
Kenny Omega vs. The Young Bucks Time for one half of our double main event! Omega comes out to a huge ovation but The Young Bucks attack him from behind on the entrance way! The crowd boo as Nick and Matt Jackson double team Omega, hitting him with a double suplex on the steel ramp! The Bucks roll Omega back into the ring, Nick goes for a pin attempt but only a two count. The Bucks work on Omega for a while using their double team offence including the gutbuster followed up with a blockbuster neckbreaker on the knee! The Bucks then attempt the BTE trigger but Omega pulls them both into each other sending Matt Jackson down to the mat! Omega then grabs Nick Jackson and hits a ripcord knee to the face followed by a snap suplex! Matt tries to come at Omega but Omega hits him with a back elbow smash to the face before whipping him into the corner and hitting a running knee to the face! Omega sets up for the One Winged Angel, but Nick delivers a chop block taking Omega’s legs out from under him! Matt lands on top of Omega, 1…..2…..no! Omega with the shoulder up. The action continues with the Young Bucks now back in control and they continue to dominate Omega, taunting him along the way. The Bucks connect with a double superkick and it looks like it’s over as they go for the Meltzer Driver! Omega reverses using hid body weight and drops Matt Jackson on his head with a tombstone! Nick tries a flying springboard clothesline but Omega hits a codebreaker in mid air! Omega regains some control in the match and levels Nick with the shining wizard!!! Omega covers but Nick kicks out right at the last second! Omega sees Matt getting to his feet outside the ring so he comes off the ropes and hits a Tope Con Hilo on to Matt Jackson! Omega rolls back into the ring and runs off the ropes hitting a Kotaro Crusher on to Nick! Omega covers but again Nick kicks out barely! Suddenly we see Drew Galloway and Adam Cole make their way down to ringside! Galloway enters the ring and clobbers Omega from behind! The referee calls for the bell and Omega is declared the winner by DQ!
The assault on Kenny continues with Drew Galloway hammering away. Cole and Nick Jackson set Omega up for a Claymore but here comes The Good Brothers!!! Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows run in to the ring and start brawling with The Bullet Club but Matt Jackson re-enters the ring with a steel chair and takes out Anderson and Gallows! The Bucks use the chair repeatedly on the legs of Gallows and Anderson as Galloway hits a Claymore on to Omega! All of a sudden we see Santana and Ortiz rush to the ring! Santana and Ortiz armed with pool balls in socks, swing away at The Young Bucks!! Cole gets a sock in the gut and The Bullet Club leave the ring and head towards the back! The Good Brothers gingerly get to their feet and confront Santana and Ortiz while Kenny Omega uses the ropes to get himself to his feet. The Good Brothers and Santana and Ortiz are face to face as we go to a commercial!
We come back from a commercial and see highlights of what just happened.
Ranallo: ”After what we’ve just seen, we’ve just heard from the office of Stu Bennett that on next week’s Warfare, we will see an eight man elimination tag match The Bullet Club squaring off against Santana, Ortiz and The Good Brothers!”
McGuinness: ”They’re gonna have to co-exist as a team next week despite both teams being in line for a Tag Team Championship match in the near future! That will be interesting that’s for sure….”
Ranallo: ”Also next week, we’ve just heard that Matt Riddle has challenged Bobby Lashley to a rematch from Battleground! Also Mickie James and Nick Aldis will battle in a mixed tag match taking on the former Women’s champion, BB Crawford and a partner of her choosing!”
McGuinness: ”Plus, I’m just hearing that Kenny Omega has a special surprise for Drew Galloway ahead of their upcoming match at Blood In The Sand! That will be revealed next week!”
We go backstage with Adnan Virk who is talking about next week’s episode of Warfare until he is interrupted by CM Punk and Samoa Joe….”Why the hell are you talking about next week!? You should be talking about me and Joe making an example of The Anarchy in a few minutes. You should be talking about the fact that I still haven’t been given a match for Blood In The Sand despite being the best in the world at what I do! Now I didn’t come to PWU to be a B plus player, I came here to prove that I am the very best that PWU has to offer and if it means myself and this Samoan powerhouse next to me need to run through The Anarchy first….then that’s what we’ll do.” Punk leaves and Joe takes the mic and says “It’s clobbering time……” before walking off.
CM Punk and Samoa Joe vs. Killer Kross and AJ Styles (The Anarchy) The match gets under way early as Joe rushes down the aisle as Killer Kross and AJ Styles make their entrance! Joe and Kross exchange right forearms to each other’s faces while Punk and AJ also exchange punches! The two teams brawl around the ringside area with Joe whipping Kross hard into the steel stairs before following up with a running knee, cracking the back of Kross’ head off the steel stairs! Punk bounces AJ’s head off the announce table a few times before rolling him into the ring and the bell officially sounds for this main event to get under way! Punk works over AJ for a brief period of time as Joe and Kross make it to their respective corners. Punk whips AJ into the corner and goes for his patented knee to the face but AJ gets his feet up in Punk’s face and follows up with a flying forearm! AJ takes control of the match using his fast paced offence to control things. Punk hits AJ with a few elbows to the gut, whips him off the ropes, AJ ducks a clothesline attempt and follows up with a springboard moonsault into a reverse DDT! Vintage AJ Styles! Styles makes the tag and Kross gets into the match hammering away on Punk before executing a release German suplex! Kross waits for Punk to recover but Kross tells him he wants Joe! Joe is ready for the tag and Punk makes the tag! Joe and Kross continue their fight from earlier, both men throwing big clubbing lefts and rights at each other. Kross catches Joe charging at him and hits a beautiful belly to back suplex on Joe! Kross keeps the momentum up and hits Joe with a bicycle kick knocking him back down again! A cover but only a two. Kross and AJ exchange frequent tags and isolate Joe, good team work from The Anarchy. After Joe eats a Pele Kick and hits the mat, AJ goes to the top rope and goes for the 450 splash but Punk pushes AJ off to the outside, AJ crashing into the steel barrier! Kross comes over to get to Punk but Joe recovers and sweeps Kross to the mat with an STO! Joe then hits a running boot which knocks Kross out of the ring, and Punk rolls AJ back into the ring! Joe sets him up with the Muscle Buster and hits it! Instead of covering, Joe tags in Punk and Punk heads up top and hits a flying elbow drop to AJ! Joe hits a suicide dive on the outside to Kross and Punk hooks the leg, 1……2……3! Joe and Punk get the win!
Joe and Punk leave the ring area as Kross rolls back into the ring. Kross helps AJ to his feet but the lights go out! As the lights come back on, we see Aleister, Adam Scherr and Brother Levi also in the ring! Aleister embraces AJ and taps him on the back of the head but suddenly BOOM! Aleister drops AJ with the Midnight Mass kick! Aleister instructs the rest of The Anarchy to put the boots to AJ which they do!! Suddenly the crowd become unglued and we see Jon Moxley rushing out armed with a barbed wire bat! Moxley rushes into the ring and Moxley hits Scherr in the gut with the barbed wire bat! The numbers game is too strong however and Aleister hits Moxley with the Midnight Mass! We see Aleister, Scherr, Kross and Levi standing over Moxley and AJ Styles.
We see Stu Bennett arrive on the stage “Aleister enough!!!! We have closed out this show three weeks running now with you guys laying waste to our talent and it can’t continue like this!! Seeing as you guys are always ready for a fight, next week, we’re gonna have the first ever Warfare Anarchy Rules! It’s gonna be, Scherr, Kross and Levi taking on Jon Moxley, Samoa Joe and……….AJ Styles in an Anarchy Rules match! The rules?…………..there aren’t any! no pinfalls, no submissions, a participant is eliminated if they can’t answer the referee’s 10 count until there’s only one man standing! Have fun!”
Ranallo: ”Wow so much to digest here! Next week’s show will be Anarchy Rules!? Also it appears that AJ Styles will be fighting against his own brothers in The Anarchy!!”
McGuinness: ”That’s if he is still in The Anarchy!? Wow what a show it’s gonna be next week!”
Aleister is seen smirking before staring at Stu Bennett from the ring and AJ staring up at The Anarchy from outside the ring holding the side of his face as Warfare goes off the air.

PWU News Update!! 19th July 2021
- This week’s Warfare will be a very special episode entitled ‘Warfare - Anarchy Rules’ after GM Stu Bennett announced the first match of it’s kind when the dysfunctional trio of Samoa Joe, Jon Moxley and AJ Styles battle against Killer Kross, Adam Scherr and Levi of The Anarchy! This match is elimination rules, no pinfalls, submissions or disqualifications and the only way to win is by a superstar not being able to answer the ref’s 10 count while he is on the ground! So many questions will be answered during this match, where does AJ Styles stand with The Anarchy and is he still a member of that group? Also, where does this leave CM Punk? who is reportedly furious that he is not a part of this match and currently has no plan for Blood In The Sand!
- Talking of Blood In The Sand, Stu Bennett has announced Samoa Joe will be taking on Killer Kross on the show which will be an all out war!
- We have also heard that Kenny Omega has a surprise on this week’s Warfare for the Bullet Club leader Drew Galloway. Despite not being quite sure what to expect, rumours are circulating that the surprise is not really a ‘what?’ ……more of a ‘who?’…..we will find out on Warfare!
- Due to numerous recent releases by the WWE, it has been rumoured that PWU are very interested in acquiring more talent despite their already sizeable roster. There are also WWE superstars whose contracts are soon expiring and PWU are reportedly keeping an eye on those talent’s situation as well. A few names have been mentioned however one superstar on PWU’s radar could potentially shock the wrestling world if they were to sign with PWU. It has been said that this superstar has many friends in PWU already so he would be welcomed with open arms into the locker room. Reports suggest that PWU officials will meet with this superstar soon to begin talks. It appears as though the WWE had not signed this superstar to a 90 day no compete clause meaning he can sign for another company and could debut immediately.
- With the rumours of the roster further expanding and an ever growing fan base, we understand that PWU are exploring the option of producing a second weekly TV show. In a recent media call, PWU president Davey Williams stated that “A second weekly show would showcase more of our roster than we are currently able to on our weekly 2 hour show Warfare. Of course we need to meet with networks to discuss this possibility but we see the potential that another weekly show offers us and how our brand can grow accordingly. We want to put on a great weekly wrestling show and thanks to our working relationship with AEW and NWA, I believe we have achieved that so far. The wrestling world is just starting to gain in popularity again and we want to be right at the forefront of that popularity surge.”
That is all for now, remember to tune in to Warfare: Anarchy Rules this week!

Lee falls to the mat and Aldis goes to the top and hits the flying elbow drop! Aldis covers, 1……..2……..3! Mickie and Nick Aldis leave arm in arm in victory as BB Crawford checks on Keith Lee in the ring. Ranallo: ”Mickie and Nick have stolen one there! Keith Lee looked as though he was going to beat the NWA Champion but Mickie saved her husband and in turn Aldis got the win!”McGuinness: ”Great team work from the husband and wife duo! Adam Cole and Britt Baker have a huge task ahead of them if they want to dethrone the Aldis’s!”
We go backstage as Jon Moxley arrives to the arena. He is soon caught up by Adnan Virk who wants Moxley’s thoughts going in to the Anarchy Rules match. Moxley states “I’m looking forward to kicking The Anarchy’s ass. They wanna jump me or appear from the darkness but let’s see how tough they are when they are faced with with the animal that is in me! As for my so called partners tonight, I think it’s bulls**t……I don’t want or need Samoa Joe’s help and as for Styles, who knows where his head is at? I don’t trust either of them so tonight they need to sort their own issues and leave me to sort mine….” As Moxley is about to walk away, Samoa Joe appears in shot. “Moxley, I don’t like you and I know that feeling is mutual. Tonight though we have a common enemy…..The Anarchy. Let’s just do our jobs tonight and stay out of each other’s way. If you get in my way, you know what will happen….” Moxley steps to Joe “What’s that exactly? I’m not scared of you Joe but you’re right….let’s go out there and kick The Anarchy’s ass then we can sort out any issue we have afterwards…” Moxley walks away and Joe stares at Moxley walking off.Bobby Lashley vs. Matt RiddleA rematch from Battleground here on Warfare! Lashley takes control for a period of time hitting him with clubbing blows and he rams his shoulders into Riddle’s mid section in the corner. This time with the help of his new protege Shelton Benjamin!”McGuinness: ”One thing’s for sure, Riddle wont take this lying down! That’s twice now that Lashley has beaten Riddle, I don’t think this is the last we’ve seen of these two!”We see a video package hyping up the tag team elimination match later between The Bullet Club and The Good Brothers and Santana and Ortiz. After this we see The Good Brothers talking to Santana and Ortiz backstage. “Tonight we need to get along. We both know that we all want to take those Tag Titles from the Young Bucks….tonight let’s take care of The Bullet Club and The Bucks, then we can fight amongst ourselves for those titles…..what do you say?” Santana responds “You know homes……you’re right. Tonight we will be on the same page but just know that it’s myself and Ortiz getting a shot at those tag titles and not you guys! If we have to go through you to get to those titles then we will…..but tonight….we show them Bullet Club cowards who’s boss!” Gallows laughs “You seriously think you’re getting a shot before us? Remind me how long was your losing streak again before you finally strung together some wins? Too long. That’s fine though because tonight the best team will win…..us….” Gallows motions himself and Karl Anderson as he says this. Santana and Ortiz smirk and Ortiz states “We’ll see you out there……” We go back to the ring when we hear Kenny Omega’s music hit! Omega comes out to a huge ovation and grabs a mic. Kenny talks about his surprise for Drew Galloway and we’ll get to that soon enough. Kenny talks about how important the match at Blood In The Sand is and it’s so important for Kenny to win that he has put his career on the line. Kenny states that if he is to play any further part in professional wrestling, then he has to conquer the stumbling block that has been the Bullet Club and Drew Galloway in particular. Kenny says after Revolution, he sat at home for months, not knowing what was next for Kenny Omega. Kenny came back because he knew he had to defeat The Bullet Club and prove why he is the best wrestler on the planet, however so far things haven’t gone to plan. Kenny states he shouldn’t be in wrestling if he can’t beat Drew Galloway. Kenny states this is why he has been scouting Galloway’s career and needs to find his weaknesses to work on ahead of the match at Blood In The Sand and he has finally found one. Kenny brings out Drew Galloway, who heads to the ring and also grabs a microphone. “Kenny, why are we wasting our time with this!? I have a match later, The Bullet Club have beaten you time and time again, stop this now and save yourself the embarrassment of whatever this surprise is!” Kenny responds, “Drew you’re gonna love this! I know I can beat you and I know you are beatable and what better way to get in your head than to befriend an individual who has beaten you in a big match in the past and bring back those painful memories! I’ve scouted your career from before the WWE and there’s a man who I know whose name still makes you shudder until this very day after he beat you for the ICW World Heavyweight Title…..so without further ado please welcome…………GRAAADDDDDOOOOO!” The lights in the arena dim as a remix of Madonna’s ‘Like a Prayer’ plays through the arena! The crowd cheer loudly before singing along to the song as Grado makes his entrance!! The fans cheer as Grado dances his way to the ring with the crowd singing! Ranallo: ”Is this for real!? Do we really have 13,000 people singing along with a Madonna track!”Grado gets into the ring with Galloway looking extremely unamused. Kenny gives Grado the mic “Well Drew……how yous doing……remember me? Do you remember when at Fear and Loathing, I took the ICW title away from ya? Drew, I’ve known you for many years and you are one tough bastard but at Blood In The Sand, Kenny Omega will not be retiring from this great sport!” Drew has had enough and interrupts “Who the hell cares about you Grado!? You think I care about a stupid World Title for some tiny pissant company in the UK? I’m in the big leagues now, I have gone on to win multiple World Titles including this one, so do you really think I give a s**t about what a joke act thinks about me and The Bullet Club!?” Grado quickly retorts “I’m a joke act, I’ve heard it all before Drew…..talk about how I’m a fat loser too if you want……but I am a fat loser who has still beaten you!! So how big a loser does that make you Drew?….” The crowd cheer but Galloway has enough and goes to clothesline Grado but Grado ducks it and jabs away at Galloway!! Grado goes for the Flip Flop and Fly elbow but Galloway connects with a headbutt! Galloway then hits a Claymore on Grado as Omega looks on!! When we come back, we see Aleister sitting in a darkened room “Jon, tonight you compete in a match that is named after my group of brothers, The Anarchy rules match. Forget about winning this match, you just need to survive it. After all, I know you want what I have, what so many have unsuccessfully tried to take from me, this PWU World Championship. Well Jon just survive tonight and you get a shot at this…..however judging by how we’ve left you laying these past few weeks, I’ll say the chances of you even making it to Blood In The Sand are slim at best. You better survive tonight, you NEED to survive tonight or else you will have just fallen like the others……good luck….”Kevin Steen vs. Rey FenixXcite division action as Kevin Steen takes on a member of Pac’s Death Triangle group in AEW, Rey Fenix! I think it’s fair to say that Steen got one over on Pac tonight!”Pac shouts at Steen through the ropes “You can’t run forever Steen! That title will be mine soon enough!” We go backstage where Adnan Virk is standing by with The Bullet Club ahead of the eight man tag team elimination match tonight. Adnan asks how Drew is feeling after that altercation with Kenny Omega and Grado earlier tonight. Drew tells Virk that he is fine and Omega and Grado will have to wait. Adam Cole then speaks and tells Nick Aldis that if he even thinks of getting involved in their match tonight, The Bullet Club will put him down! Nick Jackson then speaks and says The Bullet Club find it funny as their opponents can’t get along already and the match hasn’t even started yet. Jackson states that they have proven why they are truly the best team in pro wrestling, they beat DIY, they beat Lashley and Riddle, and it doesn’t matter to them whether it’s The Good Brothers or Santana and Ortiz who’s next, it’ll be the same result. …..The Bullet Club always win.The Bullet Club vs. The Good Brothers and Santana and Ortiz (Eight Man Tag Team Elimination Match)The match starts out with Nick Jackson and Karl Anderson. Anderson then executes his own hip-toss, followed by an armdrag into an armbar! Anderson tags in Gallows and Gallows goes to work on Nick Jackson with several clubbing blows. After being in control for a while, Nick ducks a big boot attempt and dropkicks the knee of Gallows, taking his leg out! Galloway and Jackson head to the back while officials pour out to break up this fight at ringside between The Good Brothers and Santana and Ortiz! Ranallo: ”A strange way to the end the match, however as neither of The Good Brothers were in the ring or in their corner, the ref counted both of them out of the match as there was no legal man!”McGuinness: ”I don’t blame Santana and Ortiz for being annoyed about being eliminated but they’ve just cost their team the match! One thing’s for sure, the tag team division is hotting up here in PWU!”
We go to a commercial break and we see the closing moments of the eight man tag match. We then go back to Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness.Ranallo: ”An explosive night here on Warfare as you just saw and next week will be no different!”McGuinness: ”That’s right Mauro, next week we will see Drew Galloway going one on one with Grado with Kenny Omega in his corner!”Ranallo: ”Also just announced, The Good Brothers will face Santana and Ortiz, with the winners facing The Young Bucks for the Tag Team Championships at Blood In The Sand! Also, Matt Riddle taking on Shelton Benjamin and a Claudio Castagnoli open challenge for the International Championship!”McGuinness: ”Can’t wait for that, who is going to step up next week to the challenge!? Also…….Nigel is interrupted as ‘Cult of Personality’ sounds across the arena! CM Punk is here!! Ranallo: ”Well we weren’t expecting Punk to be here tonight but clearly he has something on his mind!”
Punk takes a microphone as ‘CM Punk’ chants echo throughout the arena. “Now I dunno what the hell is going on around here but I’m beginning to get pissed off! Now I didn’t come here to be a part time player, I didn’t come here to come to shows when I want, collect my pay check for the one off appearance and leave unlike other big shot actors, I came here to prove that I am STILL the best in the world at what I do! Now at first, I was treated with respect, I was booked on every show whether wrestling or not, I’ve had a match on every Pay Per View so far and a title shot and now all of a sudden, I can’t even get on the weekly TV show!? I’m not booked for this week despite being in the main event last week and I’m not booked for the Blood In The Sand show in August and I want to know why! Stu Bennett I want you to come out here and explain to me what’s going on in your head and why I have no match at Blood In The Sand?” Stu Bennett makes his way out and appears on the stage. “Now Phil listen to me, I know what it looks like but trust me you have this all wrong. I know you weren’t booked in a match on this week’s show but we have 2 hours and we have 2 elimination matches tonight!” Punk gets pissed “You have a two hour show and you couldn’t feature the best wrestler in the world!? You had that idiot Grado out here earlier, I could have had a match then! Hell next week if I’m not booked, am I gonna have to challenge Castagnoli in the open challenge or are you gonna wheel some has been pot head out here again to do it?” Stu Bennett interjects “I’m sorry, ok? You’re right, we do want to feature the best wrestlers on TV weekly especially one that has the talent that you do but you were wrong about one thing Punk……you see, you do have a match at Blood In The Sand! I couldn’t tell you until now….” Punk smirks “Glad you finally see things my way Stu, who am I up against? I mean I’ve already beaten Moxley and he’s now your number one contender so who on earth is going to be good enough to face me at Blood In The Sand?” Bennett thinks about it “I’d love to tell you but……it’s a secret. You see, PWU have been negotiating with this man since we found out his contract was nearly up at another promotion. Well, earlier this week I received a call from Mr Williams, informing me that we have officially signed this gentleman. I had a good feeling about it but just in case it fell through I couldn’t tell you. I planned to have you face this man at Blood In The Sand and now it’s come to fruition. At Blood In The Sand, it will be CM Punk taking on…………you’ll find out at the Pay Per View! If you really are the best in the world, it won’t matter right Punk?” Punk thinks about it “You know that’s fine Stu, it doesn’t matter who you’ve signed, so long as they know they are going to be wrestling greatness at Blood In The Sand and it will be embarrassing for them to lose their first PWU match against the best……in the world!” Punk’s music hits and Bennett smirks before walking back to the locker room.Ranallo: ”Huge announcement by our GM Stu Bennett! CM Punk will be going up against PWU’s most recent signee at Blood In The Sand! I wonder who it could be!?”McGuinness: ”Well there has been speculation but we’ll find out officially at Blood In The Sand!”We go backstage where we see The Anarchy holding hands in a circle in prayer with Aleister in the middle hyping them up for the upcoming match. “Tonight, we leave Moxley and Joe laying….but spare AJ and bring what’s left of him to me…let The Anarchy commence brothers…”Ranallo: ”Before we go to our main event, let’s run down the few rules of the Anarchy Rules Match:
- All six men will be in the match at the same time which is why there are two referee’s. - There are no pinfalls, no submissions, no DQ’s, the only way to eliminate your opponent is by having them incapacitated enough to not answer the referee’s 10 count. - The match will continue until one man is left standing. “McGuinness: ”Let’s get to it!! I can’t wait for this!”The Anarchy (Kross, Scherr & Levi) vs. Jon Moxley, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles - Anarchy Rules MatchMoxley and Joe have a brief stare down just before The Anarchy make their entrance.
