Tony Schiavone, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes open the show telling us that tonight’s Main Event will feature a singles match between Sting and "Stunning" Steve Austin with the WCW United States Championship on the line.

The Hustler is doing one-handed push-ups & kip ups in the ring, when he is attacked by Sid Vicious. Sid Vicious destroys "The Hustler" Rip Rogers with big power moves.
The match ended in 4:43 by submission with a Torture Rack.

2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell everyones favorite underdog tag team.
2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Bagwell w/ Teddy Long vs. Pretty Wonderful w/ The Assassin
Paul Roma and Paul Orndorff attack 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell before the bell.
Roma and Orndorff collide after being atomic dropped by Bagwell and Scorpio. Scorpio works on Roma with right hands causing Roma to beg off, but that didn’t work as he is soon met with a leaping clothesline. Orndorff tagged in to see if he could do any better, but he didn’t early on. Bagwell came off the top rope with an axe handle to get the early control. Bagwell almost wins with a crucifix pin, but maintains control of the contest. Roma tags back in, but is worked on by Scorpio who also tagged in. Scorpio hits a nice standing somersault leg drop for a near fall. Scorpio gets worked on by both Orndorff and Roma but tries to fight back but misses a leaping cross body. Roma hits a middle rope elbow drop on Scorpio, but isn’t able to get a three count. Scorpio avoids another elbow drop and makes the tag, as does Roma. Bagwell cleans house with body slams and clotheslines. Bagwell nearly pins Orndorff following a top rope shoulder block.
All four men are in the ring. The referee is distracted when the Assassin head butts Bagwell with an illegal object under his mask to allow Orndorff to get the win. Orndorff pinned Bagwell with one finger.
Pretty Wonderful defeated 2 Cold Scorpio & Bagwell in 5:59.

Paul Roma doesn’t know how many times they have to wrestle Marcus Bagwell and 2 Cold Scorpio. They keep on beating them up and giving them losses. Paul Orndorff claims that they will be the WCW World Tag Team Champions eventually. They will continue to beat up salt and pepper, Bagwell and Scorpio if that means they win the championships. The Assassin chimes in saying that Pretty Wonderful will be better than Bagwell and Scorpio in yet another rematch.

In a decent match, WCW International World Heavyweight champion Davey Boy Smith defeated Steve Keirn in 6:10 by pinfall with a Running Powerslam.
During the match we also had former champion Rick Rude watching the match from the ramp.

Sting says he has a score to settle with "Ravishing" Rick Rude. He wants Colonel Robert Parker to stick his nose in his business one time, so that he can teach him a lesson. Pillman chimes in to say that Colonel Parker will pay for breaking up the Hollywood Blondes.
The Horsemen arrives...
The Hell Raisers defeated Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard
In a entertaining brawl that had good reaction from the crowd, The Hell Raisers defeated Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard in 9:56 when Tully Blanchard intentionally got disqualified by throwing Power Warrior over the top rope.
After the match we have a post match brawl between The Hellraisers and The Horsemen, until The Boss and WCW Security arrives.

It's Sting!
Sting & Brian Pillman vs. Steve Austin & Rick Rude © w/ Col. Parker
Austin and Pillman start off after Sting quickly tagged out. Austin bails to the floor to avoid Pillman early on in the contest.
Pillman chops Austin on the floor but is cut off as he returns to the ring. Pillman is able to hit a middle rope clothesline but only gets a near fall. Rude is tagged in after Austin bailed to the floor again. Rude works on Pillman with a few right hands and chops. Pillman gets a two count on a roll up, but Rude regains the advantage with several punches. Pillman springboards off the middle rope to hit a cross body for a near fall. Sting gets the tag after Pillman leapfrogs over Rude. Sting drives Rude gut first down to the canvas. Sting atomic drops Rude who walks into a right hand moments later. Sting avoids being double teamed in the corner by punching his way out after Austin tagged into the bout.
Sting withstands a headlock by Austin to connect with a gorilla press slam. Austin stumbles to the apron where he is punched by Pillman. Rude refuses to tag in when Austin extends his arm. Austin gains control of Sting with a series of knee drops and tags out to Rude. Rude delivers a back breaker and locks in a bear hug on Sting. Sting makes the tag to Pillman, but Austin distracted the referee to prevent it from happening. Sting counters a tombstone attempt by Rude and hits one of his own! Sting stumbles towards Austin who punches him but Sting lands on Rude for a near fall! Pillman and Austin tag in with Pillman cleaning house with a backdrop and dropkicks. Pillman hits Austin with a missile dropkick, but Parker enters the ring and kicks Pillman in the head to allow Austin to cover Pillman and pick up the win!
In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, Rick Rude & Steve Austin defeated Sting and Brian Pillman in 16:12 when Steve Austin defeated Brian Pillman by pinfall after Col. Robert Parker interfered.

Mean Gene interviewing Ron Simmons. Simmons doesn’t think Ice Train is ready to wrestle him at the Clash of the Champions.
Ron Simmons and Ice Train formed a tag team, but broke up after a brief time due to constant squabbling both in and out of the ring.
Ice Train failed Simmons during the title shot in october 1993, leaving Simmons to get double-teamed by The Nasties. Simmons called for help, but Ice Train was pre-occupied with Missy Hyatt. "I expected Train to be a lot smarter than that, be he fell for the oldesttrick in the book. Besides, what does he want with that woman?"
According to Simmons the fans haven't given him the respect accorded all other WCW champions.
"I was never given the fair chance to get my belt back!"
If Simmons sounds bitter...well, he is.
"It's time for me to look out for number one!"
Simmons will do anything to regain the title.
This if my life, and that belt is the only thing worth going for.

Zenk nearly wins with a rollup and dropkicks Page to the floor. Zenk gets wrist control on Page, but Page counters quickly and puts a hammerlock on Zenk. Zenk counters on the mat and keeps control on Page. Zenk rolls Page over and nearly wins the match. Zenk continues to have arm control on Page. Page takes Zenk down and tries for a cover, but only manages a two count. Zenk takes Page down with a snapmare. DDP works over Zenk with a shoulder ram and headlock on the mat. Page clotheslines Zenk to counter a hip toss. Page misses a splash in the corner. Zenk atomic drops Page and delivers a few strikes. Page blocks a backdrop and hits a piledriver for the win. Page did have a handful of tights. Rating 60

Badd opens the TV Championship match with a shoulder block and works over Regal’s arm. Regal elbows Badd and controls Badd with a headlock. Badd quickly comes back with an arm drag. Regal takes Johnny down to the mat to get control of the contest. That doesn’t last long as Badd takes Regal down again with a side headlock. Regal focuses his offense on Badd’s left arm. Regal takes Badd down to the canvas and continues to wrench on Badd’s left wrist. Regal takes Badd over with a slam to maintain the advantage. Badd comes off the ropes with a cross body for a one count. Badd sends Regal face first into the top turnbuckle and makes his comeback with a backdrop and a knee lift for a two count. Johnny connects with a head scissors, but misses a standing elbow drop. Sir William punches Badd while Regal distracts the referee. Regal ends it with a Exploder Suplex. In a decent match, Lord Steven Regal defeated Johnny B. Badd in 7:06 by pinfall with an Exploder Suplex after Sir William interfered. Lord Steven Regal makes defence number 5 of his WCW World Television title.

Scott Studd vs. Ron Simmons
A more aggressive Ron Simmons is in singles action this week. He took care of Scott Studd after hitting a Spinebuster in 2:58.
"Mean Gene" interviews former WCW World Heavyweight champion Ron Simmons and says that his protege, or at least former protege, Ice Train, has challenged him to a match at the Clash of the Champions.
Simmons calls out Ice Train. Simmons says he's given Ice Train chance after chance to prove himself, to prove that he's ready, and he's failed each time.
Ron Simmons asks if Train honestly thinks this is going to help his cause.
Ice Train says that with Ron being a former Tag Team and and World champ, as well as an All-American and Heisman Trophy candidate, he needs to test his skills against Ron to prove what he can do.
Simmons asks Train if he likes money, fast cars and women, Train says of course he does. Simmons says he'll never get to enjoy any of them if he keeps this match at the Clash. Train begs him to reconsider because the only way he'll ever be able to move on in this business is by beating him.
Simmons asks him to repeat himself, and before Train can finish the sentence, Simmons slaps his mouth! Train's mouth gets busted open and Simmons walks off.

Steve Austin played the chickenshit heel, trying for a handshake and running all around. Austin over did it during a leapfrog and hurt his thigh and Pillman went to work. He used the ring to its full advantage to work on the thigh and the entire leg in general. He was like a mad man between doing that and making sure that Colonel Parker didn't get involved. Austin caught Pillman on the outside and worked his bad ankle. He slowed it down back in the ring before Pillman started the comeback. Austin tried the Stun Gun but Pillman landed feet first on the middle rope instead and hit a beautiful springboard back elbow.
Parker distracts the referee, Pillman he dropkicked him off. He tried the Air Pillman but Austin rolled through with a small package, but Pillman reversed the weight and turned it into his own small package to win! In a bout that had good wrestling and a good reaction from the crowd, Brian Pillman defeated Steve Austin in 16:25 by pinfall with a small package.

Post-match, Colonel Parker hits Pillman with the loaded boot. Austin and Parker starts to beat Pillman into oblivion, but Dustin Rhodes runs out to chase them off.
