WWF Superstars comes on the air with a graphic showing that the show is taking place in Miami, Florida. The shot then goes onto the commentators for the show - Vince McMahon and Jesse “The Body” Ventura. Vince McMahon is wearing a gray suit with black dress pants and Ventura is wearing a pink jacket with purple pants and yellow bandanna. Vince McMahon smiles and then begins to speak.

Vince McMahon: Welcome everyone to Miami, Florida for WWF Superstars! I am your host Vince McMahon alongside my co host Jesse “The Body” Ventura. We are just over two weeks away from The Royal Rumble in Orlando, Florida. Tonight we are going to see The Rockers and Jake “The Snake” Roberts in action!

Jesse “The Body” Ventura: That’s right and we are also going to see “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Dino Bravo and Koko B. Ware in action too!

Vince McMahon: Yes and also we will see The Brother Love Show with special guest “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase and I am sure his bodyguard Virgil will be there too.

Jesse “The Body” Ventura: And in our main event tonight here on WWF Superstars we will see Demolition try to take the WWF Tag Team Championship belts away from The Colossal Connection - Andre the Giant and Haku with their manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan!

Vince McMahon: But before we go to that we have a special announcement concerning the Royal Rumble with WWF President Jack Tunney. Let’s go to that.

The shot then goes to Jack Tunney in his office. He is sitting at an oak desk. He is wearing a brown suit. He sees that the camera is on him and then begins to speak.

Jack Tunney: In just a couple of weeks at The Royal Rumble in Orlando, Florida I am announcing that the winner of the Royal Rumble match will get a WWF championship match at Wrestlemania 6 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Skydome against whoever is the WWF World Champion at the time. I wish the best of luck to the combatants of The Royal Rumble, thank you!

We then go back to Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura standing with microphones in hand.

Jesse “The Body” Ventura: Well what news that is. The winner of the 1990 Royal Rumble will go to the main event of Wrestlemania to compete for the WWF World Heavyweight championship?!

Vince McMahon: That’s right Jesse and now winning The Royal Rumble is that much more important. I can’t wait. We are only a couple of weeks away and it is already sold out in Orlando, Florida. The only way to see the show is watching it live on pay per view. Now let’s go to the ring for our first match!

The shot then goes to “The Fink” Howard Finkel. He is wearing his usual black suit. He smiles and then introduces the next match of the show.

Match # 01 - Jake “The Snake” Roberts -versus- Dwayne Gill

Match Notes - They locked up and Roberts pushed him into the corner. The referee wanted a clean break. Roberts instead gave Gill a stiff chop to the chest. Jake kicked him a bunch of times in the stomach and Irish whipped him into the opposite corner. He charged at him and gave him a running knee to the head. Gill staggered out of the corner and Jake followed it up with a short arm clothesline. He then lifted Gill up and gave the signal for the DDT. The fans started to cheer and Jake finished him off with a DDT then covered him for the three count. After the referee raised his hand in victory, Jake went over and grabbed his snake Damien and put it on the downed Gill as the shot then went to “Mean” Gene Okerlund.

We see the Royal Rumble logo come on the screen and then we see “Mean” Gene Okerlund. He smiles and then begins to speak.

“Mean” Gene Okerlund: Hello wrestling fans, we are just a couple of weeks away from the 1990 Royal Rumble and this is your Royal Rumble report. Now as we heard at the top of the show, the winner of this year’s Rumble will go to Wrestlemania 6 at the Skydome in Toronto, Canada and compete for the WWF championship! Now, we have several names that are already in the Rumble and they are as follows - We’ve got Luke and Butch - The Bushwhackers, The Honky Tonk Man, Dino Bravo and this man - Rick Martel.

We then see Rick “The Model” Martel wearing his usual pink tights. He has some sunglasses on that he takes off and then starts to speak.

Rick “The Model” Martel: Hahaha, in just a couple of weeks you’re going to see me, The Model in the Royal Rumble. I am going to win and I am going straight to the main event of Wrestlemania. I am going to go through twenty nine others and will show you all why I am the best!

The shot then goes back to “Mean” Gene Okerlund.

“Mean” Gene Okerlund: There you have. Rick Martel very confident going into the Royal Rumble. I’ll be back next week with more names for the Rumble and I will announce some matches as well. We’ll be back after this commercial break!

*Commercial Break*

The shot goes to the ring where we see Howard Finkel again, ready to announce the next match.

Match # 02 - The Rockers (Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty) -versus- Pat Raymond and Lee Major

Match Notes - The bell rings and the match is on. Marty Jannetty starts off with Pat Raymond. He puts him in a side headlock. Pat Raymond pushes him off and sends him into the ropes. Jannetty bounces off and hits Pat with a powerful flying shoulder tackle. He then bounces off the ropes and gives him a running leg drop for a near fall. Jannetty then tags out to Shawn Michaels.

Michaels grabs Raymond and body slams him in the center of the ring. He then walks over to the corner and begins to climb up. He then hits a jumping fist to the face of Pat Raymond. He then tags in Marty Jannetty. Marty Jannetty grabs Pat Raymond and gives him a Rocker Dropper for the pin and the win.

The fans go crazy when the bell rings. They exit the ring and slap hands with the ringside fans as we go back to Vince McMahon and Jesse “The Body” Ventura.

Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura are standing side by side.

Vince McMahon: I have a special announcement for all the fans of the World Wrestling Federation. On January 13th - next Saturday we will have a special show here on this station that you are watching and it will be The Royal Rumble Showdown. We are going to have a special show leading into the Royal Rumble! Don’t you dare miss it! Now let’s go back to the ring.

Match # 03 - Dino Bravo -versus- Johnny Austin

Match Notes - The bell sounds and Dino gives Johnny Austin a running splash in the corner. He then grabs Johnny and body slams him in the middle of the ring. He bounces off the ropes and gives him a running jumping knee drop to the forehead. He then lifts him up and applies a bear hug. Johnny Austin had no choice but to submit!

The show then went to a commercial break.

Back from the commercial break we go to Brother Love. He is wearing a white suit and his hair is slicked back. He has a beet red face. The camera zooms in on him and he begins to speak.

Brother Love: Hello all you WWF fanatics out there, I just want you to know that I love you! Now today here on Superstars, I am going to introduce a man who needs no introduction - Brother Dibiase and he is accompanied by Brother Virgil!

“Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase’s music hits and he walks past the black curtain and up the steps to the set of The Brother Love show. He is followed by his bodyguard - Virgil.

Brother Love: Now Brother Dibiase, you have something to say here tonight on the Brother Love Show!

Ted Dibiase: That’s right, I do. Brother Love, I have a bone to pick with The Ultimate Warrior, the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental champion! You see, I’ve been trying to get a match with him for a long time - but you know Brother Love, he’s nothing but a coward. I mean he is a no talent punk that doesn’t belong here. I’ve been trying to get a match with him but he is too chicken!

The camera then goes onto the entrance way where we see The Ultimate Warrior run out from. He has the WWF Intercontinental championship around his waist. He grabs the microphone away from Brother Love and then begins to speak.

Ultimate Warrior: You say that I am a coward, that I am ducking you? Well I’m right here!

With that we then see Virgil hit him in the back of the head and The Ultimate Warrior stumbles. “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase puts him into The Million Dollar Dream. Once The Ultimate Warrior is out cold, he then stands over him and puts a hundred dollar bill in his mouth. He then takes the WWF Intercontinental championship belt and raises it in the air as the show goes to a brief commercial break.

Match # 04 - Koko B. Ware -versus- Tyler Hart

Match Notes - Once the bell sounds Koko gives Tyler a dropkick to the chest. He then follows it up by picking him up and bringing him to a corner. He gives him a stiff chop to the chest. He then grabs Tyler and hip tosses him out of the corner. He walks over to him and gives him a big back breaker. With Tyler Moore down in the center of the ring, he climbs to the top and jumps off with a big splash for the three count!

We then go backstage where we see Sean Mooney standing with Ax and Smash of Demolition.

Sean Mooney: I am with Ax and Smash of Demolition. Tonight, you two wrestle The Colossal Connection of Andre the Giant and Haku. What are your thoughts going into this big match here on WWF Superstars.

Ax: Well Sean, it’s quite simple. We are going to demolish the Colossal Connection. We don’t care how big Andre the Giant is and how tough Haku is. They are going to get squashed!

Smash: That’s right Ax. We are going to send them packing and there is nothing they or that little weasel at ringside Bobby “The Brain” Heenan can do about it! You’re looking at the new World Wrestling Federation tag team champions!

Sean Mooney: Well there you have it! Let’s go back to the ring.

Match # 05 - “Macho Man” Randy Savage -versus- Dale Jack

Match Notes - As soon as the bell rings Savage grabs Jack and kicks him in the stomach. He then follows it up with a clubbing blow to the back. Dale Jack falls to his knees. Savage takes a couple of steps back and gives him a running boot to the head. He then picks him up and slams him in the center of the ring. Then Savage climbs to the top rope and hits a perfect flying elbow drop for the pin and the win.

Vince McMahon tells us that the show is going to a commercial break but when they come back it is going to be The Colossal Connection defending the WWF Tag Team championship against Demolition.

Match # 06 - The Colossal Connection -versus- Demolition for the WWF Tag Team Championships

Match Notes - The bell rings signaling the start of the match. Haku starts off with Smash. Smash gives Haku an elbow to the jaw. Haku just looks at him and then punches Smash in the forehead. The two trade chops and punches to the face. Haku sends Smash into the ropes and Smash gets a flying knee to the face for his troubles. Haku then goes and tags out to Andre the Giant.

Andre gets in the ring and grabs Smash by the throat. He then tosses Smash into the corner and allows him to tag out to Ax. Ax punches Andre in the stomach but it doesn’t affect the big man at all. Andre grabs Ax and gives him a big head butt. He then slams him in the center of the ring. Ax somehow tags out to Smash.

Smash gets into the ring and goes to bounce off the ropes but Bobby “The Brain” Heenan trips him. Smash turns around and then exits the ring. He then goes after Heenan. Heenan tries to get away but Smash grabs him and goes to throw him into the steel post but Heenan manages to get away. Bobby then begins to run down the aisle to the backstage. The bell then rings and The Colossal Connection retain the WWF Tag Team championships by count out!

We then go to Vince McMahon and Jesse “The Body” Ventura.

Vince McMahon: Well that’s it for this week here on WWF Superstars! Tune in next week where we will see “The Model” Rick Martel in action, plus Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.

Jesse “The Body” Ventura: That’s not all, we will also see Jim Duggan and “Ravishing” Rick Rude in action as well.

Vince McMahon: Plus The Big Boss Man will be here. Plus in our main event next week we will see Jake “The Snake” Roberts taking on Bad News Brown! Plus, don’t forget that also on next Saturday we will have The Royal Rumble Showdown! So long everyone!
