So over the next few days, I'm going to try to post all of the title histories for 2001 as well as my post on Royal Rumble 2002, but on that note, I have an update on the WWF Title situation....
Following the events of Vengeance 2001, Mick Foley and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat declared the WWF Title vacant, and announced that a new champion would be crowned in the 2002 Royal Rumble Match (ten years after the Royal Rumble Match was used to decide a new WWF Champion in 1992).
