CM Punk comes to the ring to start the show and demands to be named number one contender for John Cena’s WWE Championship. As he lists the reasons he’s the logical choice, Rey Mysterio comes out and begins listing reasons he is the number one contender. After some back and forth, R-Truth comes to the ring with Little Jimmy, who believes Truth should face his childhood hero, John Cena. As CM Punk questions Truth’s logic, the lights flicker and a familiar tone rings through the arena to a deafening jeer from the crowd...

Cole announces that both CM Punk and R-Truth have valid claims to be
number one contender.

CM Punk laughs it off while R-Truth appears to be consulting Little Jimmy about Ziggler’s claim. Mysterio and Ziggler exchange some words in the ring before the familiar tone and light flicker happens again.
Michael Cole continues by saying that since people like to interrupt him, we’re going to have a triple-threat match to determine the number one contender later tonight. But right now, the winner between Rey Mysterio and Dolph Ziggler will earn their spot in that match.
Ziggler appears to be upset over the decision as a referee hits the ring and clears everyone else out.
