NWA Press Release To honor the history of the NWA World Women's Championship, the National Wrestling Alliance is proud to announce that on February 26, 2022, the NWA World Women's Championship will be renamed to the NWA Mildred Burke Championship. This renaming will take place during the NWA event happening that day, which is already set to be a spectacular show. The National Wrestling Alliance wants to honor the memory of Mildred Burke, who was the first NWA World Women's Champion. Burke was an early pioneer in women's wrestling, and it's time to continue that pioneering spirit with the NWA's women's division.
As of now, the NWA World Women's Champion is Thunder Rosa. Thunder Rosa will be meeting Deonna Purrazzo in a title match in February 26. Whomever wins this match will be declared the NWA Mildred Burke Champion. However, this is simply a renaming of the championship title, and the historic championship lineage within the NWA World Women's Championship will continue uninterrupted. Depending on who wins the match, either Thunder Rosa or Deonna Purrazzo will be presented with a new championship belt, which will replace the current design of the NWA World Women's Championship. The third longest reigning women's champion in NWA history, Jazz, will present the title to the winner of the match.
The National Wrestling Alliance is also pleased to announce NWA Empower II. This event will take place on March 19, 2022 and once again it will feature a match card which will consist solely of women's matches. This event will feature women from various wrestling promotions other than the National Wrestling Alliance.

NWA Power - Tue 15 February 2022 Aron Stevens comes out with JR Kratos and Chris Adonis. He goes to the interview booth and gets asked about Nick Aldis' challenge last week. Stevens says he won't dignify that challenge by facing Nick Aldis again. He's beat him once, and he only lost twice before when Aldis cheated and when Stevens was tired from fighting in three matches the same night. Before he can leave, The Pope and His Bishops come out and confront Stevens, Kratos, & Adonis. Pope says that he's always hearing Stevens make excuses for why he couldn't beat Aldis the first or second time, but The Pope isn't complaining about his loss. He says he's got a plan to win when they face off again, Besides, Stevens shouldn't worry about Strictly Business. They're nothing compared to Pope & His Bishops. Soon, The Southern Stretching Crew is beating The Awakening, which'll take gold from those big idiots known as Perfect Chaos. That's top priority at the moment. He says that he also wants to prove The Dawsons worth and challenges Adonis & Kratos to a tag match right now. They accept. Aron Stevens says he won't dignify Strictly Business by facing Nick Aldis again. Gets confronted by Pope & His Bishops.
Chris Adonis & JR Kratos vs. The Dawsons Winner: Zane Dawson
After Strictly Business costs Adonis the match, Aron Stevens & JR Kratos confront them. They get in Nick Aldis' face and Aldis repeats his challenge to Stevens. Stevens accepts, then throws a punch at Aldis. This triggers a brawl with Strictly Business piling onto Stevens & Kratos, overwhelming them. Pope & His Bishops watch from the ring and smirk. Strictly Business get the best of Stevens & Kratos, then Aldis looks up to see Pope & His Bishops watching. They stare intently at each other, before Strictly Business just leaves. Pope & His Bishops then leave, stepping over Stevens & Kratos.
Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo say they're still hurt from Thunderkitty's attack last week, but they've found someone to help them. They say that this woman has beaten Thunderkitty before, and they introduce Allysin Kay, making her first NWA appearance since NWA Empower. Kay calls out Thunderkitty, demanding a match with her right now. Thunderkitty comes out and goes straight to the ring, ignoring the three women at the interview booth. Allysin Kay vs. Thunderkitty Winner: Thunderkitty
Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo are furious over Thunderkitty cheating to win. They get in the ring, but Thunderkitty is quick to beat them down, and she stands over them triumphantly. Allysin Kay tries to attack her, but Thunderkitty is able to throw her over the top rope. She then kicks Team Sea Stars under the bottom rope and taunts Kay as she helps Team Sea Stars to the back.
Colby Corino comes out and goes to the interview booth. When asked about Mr. Anderson, he says that Anderson is a loser who almost became successful, but his partner Jordan Clearwater got injured and he lost to Effy and Joe Hennig. He says that Anderson having to rely on Clearwater to get one win is pitiful. Anderson then comes out angry and says he can get a win over Corino. He challenges Corino to a match on February 26, and says that he wants to face Corino and Effy next week in a handicapped match since Corino claimed that Anderson can't beat Effy. Corino says he accepts Anderson's challenge to a singles match, but he can't accept the tag match challenge without Effy approving. Effy appears and says he's ready to face Anderson next week, and leaves.
PCO & Matt Cross vs. Rene Dupree Winner: René Duprée
After cheating to win, Dupree is quick to get out of the ring, but PCO catches him. PCO lays into Dupree with punches galore and is about to send him flying into the interview booth when Dupree low-blows him and uses the opportunity to get out of the building. Cross & PCO leave together.
Kamille, Serena Deeb, & Marti Belle come out. Belle says that she will get revenge on Deonna Purrazzo & Kiera Hogan for Purrazzo breaking Melina's arm. She challenges Deonna Purrazzo to a match right now. Purrazzo & Hogan come out and accept the challenge, but before they go to the ring, Thunder Rosa & Jennacide come out. They laugh at the pitiful teams in front of them. Rosa says she beat Kamille for the title, has retained it over Serena Deeb, on February 26th, she'll beat Deonna Purrazzo and continue her reign as NWA World Women's Champion. Then, Mickie James comes out with DLCS. She says she's annoyed by Thunder Rosa & Jennacide thinking they're the baddest women in the NWA. She says that DLCS can win, and Rosa laughs, saying they couldn't even get to the finals of the tournament to crown the inaugural women's tag champions, but since everyone's out here trying to make challenges, she has her own. Next week on Power, Jennacide and her will defend the World Women's Tag Team Championship against DLCS and Kamille & Deeb in a tag match. Satisfied, James & DLCS leave, followed by Rosa & Jennacide, and everyone else goes to the ring for the next match.
Marti Belle vs. Deonna Purrazzo Winner: Deonna Purrazzo
After the match, Purrazzo once again won't let go of Belle's arm, but this time, Kamille and Serena Deeb are quick to get in the ring and attack Purrazzo. Kiera Hogan attacks them, and Purrazzo fights back. They're getting beat back when Jazz runs out and helps Kamille & Deeb beat back Purrazzo & Hogan, forcing them out. Jazz then uses a microphone to tell Purrazzo that she's banned from using the Fujiwara armbar, and the next time she does, she'll be suspended for one month. Purrazzo yells back that she can win her matches without it, and leaves.
Perfect Chaos come out. Hennig is asked about last week's brawl, and he says he isn't happy about getting hit by Effy like that. He says that since Effy thinks he's so big and bad enough to punch Hennig, then he should be big enough to face him in a ring, and says he'll give Effy a title shot on February 26. They leave, without Effy or his allies coming out.
PJ Hawx vs. Jax Dane Winner: Jax Dane
As Jax Dane is leaving, a hurt PJ Hawx gets to the interview booth and calls him back. PJ says that he doesn't care about being beaten, because when it comes to family, you've gotta fight back, even if it means you get beaten badly. He then says that his father isn't here tonight because he's recovering from last week's attack, but he'll be ready by February 26th. PJ challenges Dane to a handicapped match that will take place on February 26th. Dane gets in PJ's face and accepts, then leaves.
The Von Erichs vs. The Wildcards Winner: Marshall Von Erich
After the match, La Rebelion are attacking The Von Erichs. The two teams are brawling. Strictly Business is leaving while The Wildcards are still in the ring. The Wildcards look annoyed, so they attack La Rebelion. La Rebelion are forced to retreat. The Von Erichs look at The wildcards & May Valentine, and offer to shake hands, but The Wildcards slap their hands away and leave to follow Strictly Business.
J.E.T.T. Squad come out for an interview. Tim Storm says he's got something to say to James Storm. He tells him that it wasn't his fault that he was retired by Jax Dane. He wishes that Bad Storm had went on longer too. He says that they'd probably have beaten The Awakening for the tag titles in October if Tim hadn't been retired in August. He tells James Storm that he can't put himself down for what happened. He's beaten Jax Dane. He needs to let the past go and stop getting angered everytime someone mentions Tim's retirement. On February 26th, he wants to see J.E.T.T. Squad be entirely focused on beating Pope & The Dawsons. J.E.T.T. Squad hug it out and surprisingly, neither Pope & His Bishops nor Jax Dane interrupt them. J.E.T.T. Squad celebrate for the fans and leave.

The Dynasty make a remark about how even though they're carrying dead weight, Strictly Business is on a roll. The Wildcards take offense, saying they'd have won that match if it wasn't for La Rebelion. La Rebelion come out and challenge The Wildcards. The Wildcards accept the challenge. As they go to the ring, they see Strictly Business leaving, with Nick Aldis telling them that they should win this match on their own.

They help The Wildcards up and tell them that they should leave Strictly Business as Strictly Business doesn't care about them. They offer a handshake again, but this time The Wildcards attack The Von Erichs, but Aron Stevens, JR Kratos, & Chris Adonis are quick to make the save. They force The Wildcards out and look disapprovingly at them. James Storm vs. Hoss James Winner: James Storm

Thunderkitty goes to the interview booth and does a quick one minute promo, grabbing the microphone from David Marquez, and saying that Ashley Vox, Delmi Exo, and Allysin Kay aren't even in the building tonight because they can't beat the woman with 100 years of experience. She also says that since she was around in the days of Mildred Burke, she should get a title shot. She storms out afterwards. Colby Corino & Effy vs. Mr. Anderson Winner: Mr. Anderson
After the match, Perfect Chaos are laying into Effy & his allies, with Effy taking the brunt. Joe Hennig stomps Effy's head into the steel steps. Finally, they're forced off when Colby Corino is able to get up and help to stop them. Fred Rosser yells at Hennig to face him this Saturday for the title since he's hurt Effy. Hennig accepts.
A video airs featuring Jordan Clearwater's first on-screen appearance since December. He says that since getting injured, he's had to watch his partner struggle against Joe Hennig and Effy and his allies. Clearwater says that he can't come back until sometime in April, but when he does, he wants Joe Hennig's National Heavyweight Championship, and he'll be coming for Effy and his World Television Championship. As for Colby Corino making his debut since Clearwater's injury, he says that Corino won't last long once Clearwater is back in action. The video ends after 3 minutes.
The Hawxs vs. Jax Dane & Rene Dupree Winner: PJ Hawx
After the match, Jax Dane is mad at Dupree. To try and stop Dane from attacking him, Dupree attacks PJ Hawx, but Luke Hawx is quick to attack Dupree and throw him out of the ring. Then, Jax Dane takes out Luke Hawx, but PCO & Matt Cross run out and make the save, forcing Jax Dane & Rene Dupree out. They stand tall with The Hawxs.
A video airs hyping Aron Stevens vs. Nick Aldis. It has Aron Stevens say that even though everything started because of the death of Jocephus, since then Aron Stevens has proven himself as a worthy Worlds Champion. Nick Aldis says that he will beat Aron Stevens in this non-title match, then when a member of Strictly Business wins another title, he'll come for the Worlds Championship. Clips of both men talking about The Pope also play, with Nick Aldis stating he thinks Pope and His Bishops are just a wannabe Strictly Business, and no matter what they aren't as good as Strictly Business. Aron Stevens says that Pope and His Bishops are going to be a problem for him just like Strictly Business was, but he's already beaten Pope once, so he isn't worried. A clip of Pope watching both of their comments plays, and he says that they should be worried, as Pope's plan is starting to come to fruition, and soon, he will be a true belt collector. The video ends with a match graphic for Aron Stevens vs. Nick Aldis this Saturday at NWA It's Aldis or None of This.
Main Event NWA World Women's Tag Team Championship Thunder Rosa & Jennacide (c) vs. Kamille & Serena Deeb vs. DLCS Winner: Jennacide
After cheating to win, Thunder Rosa & Jennacide mock their competitors and kick Serena Deeb out of the ring. Jazz gets in the ring and confronts them. She gets attacked, with Kamille & Marti Belle running in, but they also get beaten down by Rosa & Jennacide. While they're celebrating and mocking Kamille, Deeb, Belle, & Jazz in the ring, Deonna Purrazzo & Kiera Hogan come out and watch Rosa & Jennacide. Rosa & Jennacide get out of the ring and confront them. Purrazzo says that Rosa & Jennacide can hold onto the World Women's Tag Team Championship, because this Saturday, Rosa will be losing the World Women's Championship to Purrazzo, and that with the belt being renamed the Mildred Burke World Championship, she intends to have a reign even longer than Mildred Burke's. Purrazzo & Hogan leave, as Rosa & Jennacide are leaving, Kamille, Deeb, Belle, & Jazz are standing in the ring and yell that they're not done with Rosa & Jennacide.

NWA Power - Tue, 01 March, 2022 Fred Rosser, Effy, Danhausen, Homicide, & JTG come out to celebrate Rosser's title win. They declare themselves Heroes of Power and invite Colby Corino to join them, but Corino doesn't show up. Rosser says he's going to give Effy a title shot, as it was Effy who should've gotten that title shot. Effy says he couldn't find a friend, not after his match with Homicide back in November. Perfect Chaos then come out. Hennig says that if anyone should be getting a title shot, it should be him. He's going to recapture the title and with the Awakening they'll once again be on top of the NWA. Rosser says Hennig will only be on top of the world if he wins the Worlds Championship, and Hennig just scoffs at him, telling Rosser that Hennig can decide what he does and doesn't want. Effy says that if Hennig wants a title shot, he'll have to beat him. Hennig mocks him and says to make the shot right now, but Rosser agrees with Effy. The Awakening are ready to fight, but Hennig holds them back and goes towards the ring to fight, but Effy says not right now, as he's still recovering from the attack. Hennig mocks him and says Effy's just scared that he'll lose, and Hennig claims he could beat him in 3 minutes. Effy says why not try to beat him within 6:05 and he says he'll even put his World Television Championship on the line, and goes to the ring for the match.
NWA World Television Championship Effy (c) vs. Joe Hennig Winner: Effy
The Awakening are brawling with Heroes of Power, and after his shocking win, Effy joins in and helps beat back The Awakening, who end up taking Joe Hennig and making a retreat. Heroes of Power celebrate.
Jimmy Yang & The Freebabes come out, demanding that Mickie James & DLCS come out. When they do, Yang calls them out for attacking him and the Freebabes. James taunts him and says that he can't do a thing about it because he's a man, and The Freebabes can't do anything about it because they're too weak. He says screw double standards, next week he wants to face Mickie James & Nick Aldis in an intergender tag team match with him and Jazzy. James accepts, and she and DLCS leave mocking Yang & The Freebabes.
Clearly Great come out. Clearwater still has his arm taped up, and says that his triceps is healing enough that he'll be back in the ring by the middle of April. Until then though, he's going to make sure Mr. Anderson wins his matches. He says he regrets that his injury means they can't enter the Crockett Cup, but it's fine because when Clearwater heals, he's coming after the Effy and the World Television Championship. He is gonna prove he can beat Effy and right the wrong of their first encounter last year. He's not even worried about the title. That's just an extra perk of beating Effy. As for Anderson, he's going to send Anderson after Fred Rosser and the National Heavyweight Championship. Colby Corino comes out and says that he won't stand for being cheated out of a victory. He should've beaten Anderson. Clearwater starts mocking him, but Corino just says that once Clearwater's arm is healed up, he won't have to worry about if he can beat Effy, because he'll have to worry about how to avoid Corino. Clearwater taunts him and Corino says why wait. Corino attacks Clearwater, and has him done for, when Anderson low-blows him from behind and slams him into the interview desk, kicking him repeatedly. Heroes of Power come out and run them off, but Corino limps to the back on his own.
Jax Dane comes out and complains that he's in the Crockett Cup with Dupree. He says that he can't stand Dupree, and on top of that, Dupree is weakened from his match with PCO, blaming Billy Corgna for putting them in the tournament and blaming PCO for injuring Dupree so that it'll make winning the tournament harder. The Hawxs come out and say that they think Dane just doesn't want to risk losing again, and Dane reminds them he beat both of them on Saturday, but they remind him that he lost to Luke Hawx. Dane steps up to them and says he can beat them again, injured and annoyed partner or not. The Hawxs leave, but PCO comes out and says that if Dane is angry at him for injuring Dupree, then just try him in the ring, and he goes to the ring. Dane follows him for an impromptu match. Jax Dane vs. PCO Winner: Jax Dane
For costing him the match, PCO beats down Matt Cross, but The Hawxs run out and try to stop him, although they also get beaten down. Pope & His Bishops come out for an interview segment. When asked why only The Dawsons are in the Crockett Cup, Pope says that unlike Strictly Business or J.E.T.T. Squad, he's not going to have any team dissension. He talked to Billy Corgan and requested The Dawsons be the only Bishops in the tournament, and the fact that they're in the quarter-finals instead of the first round proves how good they are. Pope is asked what The Southern Stretching Crew intend to do following their loss on Saturday, and he brings them forward. They say that they're not letting this loss to The Awakening hold them down. They've got a new target. They want to go after a pair of men who are 5 time NWA World Tag Team Champions and have history. They want to finish off and finally retire The Rock N Roll Express. The Rock N Roll Express comes out with The Von Erichs and The Von Erichs get in Southern Stretching Crew's faces, but Rock N Roll back them up. Pope asks why aren't Rock N Roll in the tournament, and they admit that they're getting too old, and they want to put forward the future of tag team wrestling, which is The Von Erichs. But even then, they've still got enough pep to kick around a few youngsters. The Von Erichs get in the way and say they can't let this happen, and challenge The Southern Stretching Crew to a match next week, which is accepted. The Von Erichs get Rock N Roll Express out of there, although Rock N Roll is arguing a bit. Then, J.E.T.T. Squad come out and confront Pope & His Bishops about what they said about team dissension. Pope just says he's saying what he sees, and leaves, leaving J.E.T.T. Squad to look at each other. James Storm looks at his partners and puts his head down, leaving without them. Crockett Cup First Round Match Adonis & Kratos vs. La Rebelion Winner: Mecha Wolf 450
Aron Stevens comes into the ring and checks on Chris Adonis, JR Kratos stands on the apron looking annoyed. Stevens asks for some help getting Adonis out of the ring, but Kratos comes in and gets into an argument with Stevens about Adonis losing the match. Stevens says that's not important. They need to get him some help. Kratos shakes his head, but rolls Adonis out of the ring. He leaves afterwards though, and doesn't help Stevens carry Adonis to the back.
Strictly Business come out for an interview. When they're asked about why each of them are involved in the Crockett Cup, Aldis says he is determined that at least two of them will win the whole thing, and since The Awakening decided to put their tag titles on the line, he intends for two of them to become tag champions, and afterwards, he can come after Aron Stevens for cheating to win their last match. Marquez asks him if he worries that The Wildcards will clash with The Dynasty again if they beat Gaytanic Panic next week. Aldis says they haven't been clashing. In every family, there are little disputes, but as the father of Strictly Business he's kept them together. He says that he believes that The Wildcards and The Dynasty can coexist together and will have a fair match. Marquez asks The Wildcards why they didn't help Strictly Business attack Stevens, Adonis, & Kratos, but before they can respond, Aldis says they won't be answering that question. He then orders the four men to shake hands, and they do. Strictly Business then leave together, although The Wildcards & May Valentine sag a bit behind.
T-Gainz vs. Avery Breaux Winner: T-Gainz
As T-Gainz is celebrating winning her NWA debut match, Avery Breaux attacks her. However, Kenzie Paige runs out to make the save, running Avery Breaux off. Paige & Gainz fist-bump and form a team, then leave.
Deonna Purrazzo & Kiera Hogan come out. Purrazzo declares that as the Mildred Burke World Champion, she's going to hold the title forever, and definitely longer than Jazz, mocking Jazz for not making it to 1000 days as champion and giving up the belt for "stupid reasons". Thunderkitty comes out and says that her recent winning streak and the fact that she has 100 years of experience and has met Mildred Burke all the way back in 1935 when she won the title should mean that it should be Thunderkitty who should get a title shot. Purrazzo says she doesn't just hand out title shots, and goes to leave when Thunder Rosa & Jennacide appear. Rosa says that she wants to focus on holding the tag titles, but pushes Jennacide forward, stating she's undefeated in the NWA and will win the Women's Championship. Purrazzo refuses, but Jazz comes out and says that if Purrazzo thinks she'll make it to 1000 days as champion, then she better start defending, because if she doesn't defend the title at least once every month, then Jazz will strip her of the title. She also says that she'll get the first 2 title defenses started, as tonight Purrazzo will face Thunderkitty, and next week she'll face Jennacide. If Thunderkitty wins the title tonight, she'll defend it against Jennacide. Jazz leaves as Purrazzo is protesting, but Thunderkitty gets in the ring and mocks Purrazzo, telling her to get in the ring. Purrazzo reluctantly gets in the ring for her first title defense.
Main Event NWA Mildred Burke World Championship Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Thunderkitty Winner: Deonna Purrazzo
After the match, Thunderkitty attacks Deonna Purrazzo & Kiera Hogan. They throw her out of the ring and Thunder Rosa & Jennacide mock her. She attacks them, but is beaten. Despite this, she fights on. Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo come out to stop her rampage, but are quickly knocked out! Thunderkitty gains momentum and beats Thunder Rosa & Jennacide. Kamille & Serena Deeb are next, but they also fall. Then she takes out Marti Belle & Allysin Kay, who've also come out, but Purrazzo & Kiera Hogan have escaped.
