NWA Power (April 20, 2021)
The first Power after the Crockett Cup opened with Perfect Chaos entering for an interview. They're here to celebrate their victories in the night, and Hennig says that he proved that The Rock N Roll Express are has-beens and The Awakening proved they're the best team in the NWA. He says that The Awakening will now be going after the tag titles, but The Wildcards come out to claim that they want a shot at Aron Stevens' & JR Kratos' tag titles first. They blame their loss in the finals to the attack by Stevens & Kratos a week ago. When Hennig says that The Wildcards would've lost no matter what, a brawl is seemingly on the verge of breaking out, when Nick Aldis enters. He brokers a deal between the two groups, convincing Perfect Chaos that The Wildcards will face Stevens & Kratos first at It's Just Business to get even with them, then on the following Power, The Awakening will face the winners of that title match. Aron Stevens & JR Kratos then come out and claim that The Wildcards can't beat them on their own, which nearly starts a brawl until Aldis steps in front of The Wildcards and leads them away. Stevens & Kratos leave, and as Hennig starts to talk again, The Rock N Roll Express come out. They tell Hennig that it was a fair fight, and want to show their respect. Hennig claims that he's perfect and doesn't need their respect, and disrespects Rock N Roll Express. This leads to Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch coming out and issuing a challenge to The Awakening for next week. They accept, and after a nonstop 20 minutes, the segment ends and Power goes to commercial before returning.
Fred Rosser & Homicide vs. The Pope
Kamille comes out for an interview to celebrate becoming the new women's champion, and says that her training for the match helped her beat Deeb. Thunder Rosa & Serena Deeb enter, and Rosa says that Deeb had promised her a title shot. Kamille says that title shot is void and the belt is under new management, but tells Rosa that if she can beat Serena Deeb in a match next week, she'll get a title shot at It's Just Business.
Ashley Vox vs. Melina vs. ODB
After winning, Vox is celebrating with ODB, but Melina and Marti Belle attack them from behind, and leave them down in the ring.
Matt Cross vs. Jax Dane
Rene Dupree comes out for an interview, and claims that Tim Storm can't beat him in a real match. Storm responds by entering and stating that Dupree can't beat him without cheating. This leads to a challenge for one more match at It's Just Business, and Storm says it should be a No DQ match. Dupree accepts.

NWA Power (April 27, 2021) Strictly Business open the show with an interview. Aldis speaks first, stating that he knows the world is questioning what's going on between Strictly Business and Perfect Chaos. Aldis says that he's not happy with Perfect Chaos coming in and trying to take over the NWA, which Aldis says is his show. Perfect Chaos come out and Hennig says that their goal is to win titles in the NWA. He says that his original target was Trevor Murdoch, but since Strictly Business got in their way, they're not gonna let that go unnoticed. Hennig says that since Murdoch already has a match with Eli Drake at It's Just Business, Hennig is gonna wait to go after the title until after the show. He says that right now, he wants to teach Nick Aldis a lesson, and that's that you can't mess with Perfect Chaos. Hennig challenges Aldis to a match for Aldis' world title at It's Just Business, but Aldis scoffs. Suddenly, Scott Steiner takes the microphone, and says that if Hennig wants a title shot, he'll have to get through him first. Aldis seconds this, and says that in 2 weeks on the main event of Power, Hennig will face Scott Steiner for the right to face Nick Aldis at It's Just Business. Hennig accepts, but says that Strictly Business shouldn't be allowed at ringside. Aldis says that The Awakening should be banned from ringside as well, and the two shake hands on their agreement, although Aldis tops it off with "I think we're gonna have some perfect business together soon". After ten minutes, the segment ends.
Serena Deeb vs. Thunder Rosa
Pope comes out for an interview, and says that while Rosser pinned him last week, it's only because it was a 2 on 1 assault, and notes that Homicide has never pinned Pope. He orders Rosser and Homicide to come out, and when they do, he challenges Homicide to a steel cage match in the main event of next week's Power, with the goal being that the cage will keep out Rosser. There will only be pinfalls or submissions, and escaping the cage isn't allowed. Homicide accepts.
PCO vs. Jax Dane
Melina & Marti Belle come out for an interview, and say that they attacked Ashley Vox last week because she pinned ODB, and that she's too much of a coward to pin Melina. Vox & ODB come out, and challenge Melina & Belle to a tag match next week. They accept.
Brody King vs. Rene Dupree
As May Valentine opens her talk show, Aron Stevens & JR Kratos enter, and call out Strictly Business, saying they saw how Perfect Chaos coming out on Valentine's show got Strictly Business to come out, and so they're holding a sit in until he can confront Nick Aldis. Strictly Business enter, and Stevens immediately gets in Aldis' face, saying that he will win the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, and will be looking for every opportunity to get a title match. He says that Aldis may have a match at It's Just Business, but so does he, and he looks over at The Wildcards, telling them he's not going to let them cheat himself and Kratos out of the tag titles. He then says that Billy Corgan recently announced a tournament coming up in July, and that the winner will get a shot at the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title, and Stevens says when he gets in, he's going to win the tournament and beat Aldis for the belt in the same night. Before Aldis can respond to this line of comments, Stevens & Kratos leave.

NWA Power (May 4, 2021) Aron Stevens & JR Kratos come out to talk about Nick Aldis & The Wildcards. Stevens says that The Wildcards can argue about it all day, but when it comes down to it, The Wildcards will always lose when their cheating ways don't work. Stevens discusses his rant against Nick Aldis last week, saying he meant every word he said to Aldis. Stevens elaborates on the tournament he mentioned last week, stating that Billy Corgan has entered him into a quarter final match on Power after It's Just Business, He says the winner will be competing in the semi-final and final match of the tournament on the same night, and fighting for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship later that night at Ten Pounds of Gold. Stevens vows to win the title for Question Mark. He then discusses The Awakening wanting to come after the tag titles, when Perfect Chaos comes out. Hennig says that they can all agree that Strictly Business are some slimy snakes who need to cheat to win, claiming it's "just business", but Perfect Chaos, with Hennig's wrestling skill and Awakening's power, don't need to cheat. Hennig warns Stevens that if he becomes the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, he'll be a big target for everyone, especially Hennig. Hennig says that he intends to win the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at It's Just Business, and if Stevens wins the tournament, Hennig will gladly put him down and out of the title picture. Hennig also promises that he will become a double champion by beating Trevor Murdoch for the National Heavyweight Championship at Ten Pounds of Gold. After ten minutes, the segment ends.
PCO vs. Dave Dawson
Rene Dupree goes to the interview booth, calling out Tim Storm. When Storm enters, Dupree asks why he's been watching his matches lately. Storm replies that he's making sure Dupree doesn't cheat against anyone else. Angered at that remark, Dupree tells Storm that if he's so confident Dupree will cheat, then why doesn't he get protection, and face Dupree in a tag match next week, with partners of their choice. Storm accepts.
Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch vs. Jax Dane & Jordan Clearwater
Ashley Vox & ODB vs. Melina & Marti Belle
After the match, Melina attacks Vox from behind. ODB, seeing this, rushes to Vox's aid, and Belle also gets involved. With the two teams of women brawling, security comes in to break them up.
Matt Cross vs. Tom Latimer
Stevens & Kratos are brawling with Scott Steiner and Royce Isaacs at ringside. Aldis, who's stepped away, comes from behind and goes to attack Stevens, only for Perfect Chaos to come out. Hennig goes directly after Aldis, stopping him before he can attack Stevens, and The Awakening attack the rest of Strictly Business. When they've been dealt with, Perfect Chaos and Stevens & Kratos have a short staredown, before Perfect Chaos leaves as Stevens & Kratos celebrate with the fans.
Thunder Rosa & Serena Deeb come out for an interview. They say there is no bad blood against them after last week's match, and Deeb wishes Rosa luck in her match with Kamille, promising to be there. Rosa calls out Kamille, stating that she'll become a 2 time NWA World Women's Champion.

NWA Power (May 11, 2021) Aron Stevens & JR Kratos open the show by calling out Perfect Chaos at the interview booth. When Perfect Chaos enters, Hennig tells Stevens that Perfect Chaos helping them last week was nothing more than a mutual hatred of Strictly Business. He then says that the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and offers Stevens & Kratos a chance to join Perfect Chaos and take on Strictly Business, telling Stevens & Kratos that it would help them if Perfect Chaos was backing them up against Strictly Business. As the crowd shouts at Stevens & Kratos to say no, Stevens finally says he would, but he's not happy with how Perfect Chaos have treated Rock N Roll Express and their methods of winning. Hennig smirks, and says that's fine, since The Awakening are gonna win the tag titles anyway, whether it's Stevens & Kratos or The Wildcards they have to beat for the belts.
PCO vs. Jax Dane
ODB vs. Kamille
After the loss, ODB is leaving when Melina & Marti Belle attack her. Ashley Vox is quick though, and runs Melina & Belle off. They leave taunting as Vox tends to ODB.
On her talk show, May Valentine talks about the NWA women's division, stating that she thinks it could use more names, then talks about the feuds. She says that Kamille is a great wrestler and a powerful woman, and she thinks she'll beat Rosa at It's Just Business. She says she believes that Melina is wonderful and that Ashley Vox should pin her if she wants to claim to have beaten Melina.
Pope, angry over his loss last week, calls out Fred Rosser & Homicide. They enter and swagger towards the interview booth, asking Pope how he wants to be beaten now. Pope responds that he won't be beaten by them, but they'll be beating each other. He says that next week, Rosser has to face Homicide in a #1 contenders match for the TV title. Rosser & Homicide shake hands and say let the best man win. Pope leaves in frustration.
Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch vs. Jordan Clearwater
Tim Storm & ? vs. Rene Dupree & ?
After losing to Bad Storm, Mr. Anderson attacks James Storm. This leads to a brawl between James Storm & Anderson, and Tim Storm & Dupree, which security breaks up.

NWA Power (May 18, 2021) Tim Storm comes out for an interview and introduces his tag team partner from last week, James Storm. Storm comes out to the applause of the crowd, and says that he's back in the NWA for one reason; to clear it out of cheaters. He says that Tim Storm called him up and told him that the NWA was infested with cheaters, and that he needed James Storm to help him clean up the NWA. Two cheaters in particular, Rene Dupree and Mr. Anderson, have been really irking Tim Storm, and James Storm says that Tim told him to come and help him against them. So now he's back, and before he goes after some gold, he wants to deal with those two cheaters. He promises to be at ringside for Tim Storm's match against Rene Dupree at It's Just Business, and the segment ends.
Brody King vs. Jax Dane
The Rock N Roll Express come out with Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch for an interview. The Rock N Roll Express take the mic, revealing they've been talking with an outside team for a while, and have convinced the NWA to sign them to a contract, with Rock N Roll Express as their sponsor. Perfect Chaos enter, and taunt Rock N Roll Express by asking if it's another old tag team who were good 30 years ago. Drake, annoyed, challenges Hennig to a match next week, with the stipulation that if Hennig loses, he won't get a National Heavyweight Championship shot, but if he wins, he'll get his shot at Ten Pounds of Gold. Murdoch agrees with this and Hennig accepts. Taking the mic back, Rock N Roll Express reply that it's actually a young tag team with a lot of potential, and introduces to the NWA the tag team of Ross & Marshall Von Erich! The Von Erichs head straight to the ring for their match.
The Von Erichs vs. The Dawsons
ODB vs. Marti Belle
As the two teams of women brawl, Billy Corgan comes out and gets in between the women. He tells them that he's prohibiting any more brawling between them, and schedules a match between Vox & Melina for It's Just Business. He also says that ODB will face Melina next week on Power, and in two weeks on Power after It's Just Business, Marti Belle will face ODB.
Matt Cross vs. Jordan Clearwater
A five minute video airs, talking about the three-way feud between Strictly Business, Perfect Chaos, and Aron Stevens & JR Kratos. The wrestlers in the video wonder if maybe with two big feuds against them at one time, maybe Strictly Business has finally gone too far and will be undone. They also talk about how Strictly Business has been cheating to win, and how Perfect Chaos can dominate their matches cleanly. They also dwell on Stevens & Kratos, saying that Stevens vow to win the belt for Question Mark is nice, but will be hard to do against Nick Aldis, and wonder if an alliance between Perfect Chaos and Stevens & Kratos may eventually be possible.
Fred Rosser vs. Homicide
Rosser & Homicide celebrate in the ring as Pope watches from ringside. As they're going to the back, Rosser gets there first, leaving Homicide slightly behind him. Pope attacks Homicide with a microphone to the back of the head, and throws him into the interview booth. then starts setting up a table. Rosser, realizing what's happening, runs back out to make the save, but Pope clocks him in the chin with brass knuckles, and puts Homicide through the table. |

NWA Power (May 25, 2021) Rene Dupree & Mr. Anderson open the show with an interview. They say they aren't cheaters. They're just strategists. Bad Storm come out and say that Dupree & Anderson calling themselves strategists disrespects all the great American strategists like Washington or Grant. James Storm tells Dupree that he'll be at ringside to watch Dupree closely, and Anderson says he will be as well to watch James Storm closely. James Storm then shocks Mr. Anderson by revealing that Billy Corgan has placed them in the first round of the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament against each other on Power in a few weeks. Storm vows to beat Anderson, who's furious at not being told about this beforehand. Dupree & Anderson storm off, as Bad Storm celebrate with the crowd.
Effy vs. Jax Dane
Jax Dane goes to the interview booth and takes the mic. He ignores David Marquez as he says that he is a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, and that he held the title longer than Tim Storm, Sting, Dusty Rhodes, and Ricky Steamboat, so he doesn't understand why he's low card fodder, and not in the main event. Dane says that he's 40 years old, and refuses to go out without one more title run. Dane declares himself "The Great Dane" and says that he's coming after everyone who's beaten him recently. He says that his next opponent will be Matt Cross, and Dane says that after a few words with Billy Corgan, which were mostly threats of violence, Matt Cross will face him in the first round of the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament. Dane says he refuses to lose to anyone like Matt Cross again, and notes that Cross isn't here tonight because he doesn't want to face Dane. After this 5 minute rant, Dane leaves.
Brody King vs. Dave Dawson
Thunder Rosa & Serena Deeb come out to hype up Rosa's match against Kamille. They say that Rosa's been training lately and that's why she hasn't been around. They call out Kamille, telling her that they have something to say to her face. Kamille enters, and Rosa gets in her face, telling her she's nothing without those Strictly Business cowards. Kamille looks at Rosa and calmly replies that in case Rosa hasn't realized, she hasn't spent a lot of time with them lately and has been her own woman from day one. Kamille says that Strictly Business agreed to let her run her own affairs, and win her own matches. Kamille insults Rosa, telling her that at least she doesn't get into fights that she can't win. Rosa slaps Kamille, and Kamille feels her face where Rosa slapped her, then tells Rosa that she'll get payback for that on Saturday, and leaves.
ODB vs. Melina
Pope comes out and says he's tired of Fred Rosser outlasting the time limit. He calls out Rosser, who comes out and asks what poison Pope is picking this time. Pope replies that Billy Corgan has given permission to suspend the time limit on NWA World Television title matches for It's Just Business, and instead of the normal ten minute time limit, their match now has no time limit, meaning Rosser is gonna have to fight Pope if he wants to avoid losing. Rosser replies that he's looking forward to getting revenge on Pope for hurting Homicide last week, and accepts.
Eli Drake vs. Joe Hennig
Closing out the show, Aron Stevens & JR Kratos come out for an interview about their upcoming match. However, The Wildcards enter, and they're both wearing Question Mark masks and talking in gibberish. Enraged, Stevens & Kratos chase them down and gives The Wildcards the beating of a lifetime, throwing them around wildly and beating them with everything in sight, whether it's meant to be a weapon or not. Nick Aldis & Scott Steiner come out, but Kratos holds them off with a large chain as Stevens pummels and savagely beats The Wildcards, ripping the masks off their heads. When Tom Latimer manages to low-blow Stevens, it's enough that The Wildcards can run out of there through the crowd, as Aldis & Steiner retreat as well. Stevens stomps back to the interview booth and says that this Saturday, the beating he gives The Wildcards won't be strictly business, it'll be strictly personal. |
