NWA It's Just Business (May 29, 2021)

Aron Stevens & JR Kratos (c) vs. The Wildcards (NWA World Tag Team Championships)

As Perfect Chaos watch from ringside, Aron Stevens & JR Kratos defend their tag titles against The Wildcards. At the start of the match, Kratos is set to begin the match, but Stevens asks him if he can handle this match himself. Kratos tags out, and Stevens begins the match. The Wildcards try to cheat throughout the match, but Stevens is having none of it, and stops all of their attempts. He demolishes both members as he allows them to tag in and out as they attempt to win, only for them to find themselves on the receiving end of Stevens fists. After 7 minutes, Stevens gets Royce Isaacs into a Karate Clutch, and gets the win.

Ashley Vox vs. Melina

After fighting for weeks, Ashley Vox faces Melina in a one on one match. Melina repeatedly attempts to cheat, but Vox avoids it, and after 8 minutes she forces Melina to tap out.

After the match, Marti Belle attacks Ashley Vox, beating her down from behind. As Melina & ODB get involved, Billy Corgan comes out and says that he ordered them not to brawl anymore, so he's fining each of them. Melina & Belle chase Corgan out, as ODB checks on Vox, helping her to the back as the fans cheer them on.

Tim Storm vs. Rene Dupree (No DQ Match)

In the ultimate match of their feud, Tim Storm and Rene Dupree face off in a No DQ match, as James Storm and Mr. Anderson watch from ringside. The first thing Dupree does is go after Storm with those brass knuckles that started the feud, but Storm avoids his attack and takes the brass knuckles, and begins pounding away on Dupree. Without any DQs, it's not illegal, so Storm spends the next 30 seconds beating Dupree. When he tires of it, Storm leaves the ring to get a chair, but as he's under the ring getting it, Dupree attacks him from behind. The two brawl until Dupree goes to irish whip Storm into the ring-steps, only for Storm to reverse it and throw Dupree into them. He rolls Dupree into the ring and goes for a pin, but Dupree kicks out. Storm picks Dupree up, only for Dupree to sucked punch him and starting pounding away on Storm. With Storm down, Dupree gets the chair and stands over him taunting. As he raises the chair, Storm kicks him in the groin and takes the chair. He beats Dupree with the chair, then gets down and uses the chair in a submission move. Dupree taps out, ending the match after a chaotic 9 minutes, and giving Tim Storm the win.

The Pope (c) vs. Fred Rosser (Non-Time Limit Match) (NWA World Television Championship)

After Fred Rosser lasted through two time limits, Pope is looking to finally beat Rosser in a match without any time limits to cause a draw. For the first 14 minutes, the contests goes mostly the same as the first two, with nobody gaining control and all pins and submission holds not resulting in victory. However, as the contest goes into 15 minutes, Pope begins to wear down, and Rosser pushes forward. After 19 minutes of hard fighting, Rosser locks him a submission hold, and Pope passes out, giving Fred Rosser the win and making him the new NWA World Television Champion!

As Pope lays in the ring, Homicide, still battered from the attack by Pope, comes out and celebrates with Rosser and the fans.

Kamille (c) vs. Thunder Rosa (NWA World Women's Championship)

With Serena Deeb at ringside supporting Rosa, Kamille and Thunder Rosa start to battle right out of the gate. In a back and forth contest, they trade hard shots and both are constantly on the verge of victory. After 10 minutes, Kamille hits a big boot and clothesline for the win.

Trevor Murdoch (c) vs. Eli Drake (NWA National Heavyweight Championship)

After not being able to face off at the Crockett Cup, Trevor Murdoch and Eli Drake face off with the National Heavyweight Championship on the line, with The Rock N Roll Express and The Von Erichs at ringside. In a contest with a lot of respect and clean wrestling, Murdoch wins after 13 minutes to retain his title.

After the match, Perfect Chaos come out, with Joe Hennig signifying that he's coming for Murdoch's title. As they go towards the ring, Rock N Roll Express & The Von Erichs stand in their way. Hennig spits on Robert Gibson, resulting in a brawl. The 6-3 advantage eventually forces Perfect Chaos to retreat, with Murdoch & Drake then celebrating with Rock N Roll Express & The Von Erichs.

Nick Aldis (c) vs. Joe Hennig (Two Out of Three Falls Match) (NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship)

In the typical two out of three falls match used for Worlds title defenses, Nick Aldis defends the title against Joe Hennig. Neither Strictly Business nor Perfect Chaos are at ringside. Aldis underestimates Hennig, and after only 3 minutes, gets pinned by Hennig for the first fall when Hennig hits his finisher on a stunned Aldis. However, Aldis focuses on wearing Hennig down and beating him after realizing that Hennig is going to be a test. The two put on a good wrestling match, and at the 10 minute mark, Aldis gets the second fall. Both men scramble in the final minutes of the match looking for the third fall. After 15 minutes, Aldis throws Hennig out of the ring, and the two brawl out there, before Aldis stuns Hennig with a massive punch and hits his finisher on the dazed wrestler. Both men go down, and the referee continues his count and when he gets to 8, Aldis finally rolls in. Hennig, still down on the outside, is counted out, giving Aldis the third fall and the victory, retaining the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.

NWA Power Check (May 30, 2021)

Hello NWA fans, I'm Joe Galli, and this is NWA Power Check. We're going to review what's happened since the Crockett Cup, and examine the intricate rivalries that've taken place in the last several weeks, as we head into the second part of this season of NWA Power.

Questioning The Marks (Aron Stevens & JR Kratos vs. Strictly Business)

On April 20th, Aron Stevens & JR Kratos interrupted an interview between Perfect Chaos and Strictly Business, where they were agreeing on who would face Stevens & Kratos for the World Tag Team Championships. Stevens & Kratos would come out to tell The Wildcards that The Wildcards couldn't beat them on their own, which nearly prompts a brawl before Nick Aldis leads his henchmen away.
The following week, Stevens & Kratos interrupt May Valentine's talk show and refuse to leave until they get a meeting with Strictly Business. As Strictly Business enter, Stevens goes off on them and let's some choice words fly, telling them that he's not going to let The Wildcards cheat Kratos and himself out of the tag titles, and tells Aldis that he will win the Worlds title, and that he's going to win a newly announcer unnamed tournament in July to get a shot at the Worlds title.
On May 4th, Stevens & Kratos have an interview, and discuss Strictly Business. Stevens says that The Wildcards just can't win anything without cheating, and says that he meant every word he said to Aldis. Stevens also elaborated on the tournament, saying it's a 16 person tournament set to occur throughout June and July, leading to a special PPV on July 17, where the winner will fight in several matches in one night, culminating in a shot at the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, which Stevens vows to win for Question Mark. Later in the night, Stevens & Kratos stop Strictly Business from interfering in a match, and give Matt Cross a win over Tom Latimer.
On May 18th, a video package was shown on Power, and it revolved around the three-way feud involving Strictly Business, Stevens & Kratos, and Perfect Chaos. The wrestlers speaking on the feud question if perhaps Strictly Business have bitten off more than they can chew, with two groups against them at one time. Others say that Stevens' vow to win the title for Question Mark is nice, but will be a challenge against Nick Aldis, and ponder over an alliance between Stevens & Kratos and Perfect Chaos.
On the go-home Power before It's Just Business, Aron Stevens & JR Kratos had an interview about their upcoming matches against The Wildcards and The Awakening, but The Wildcards enter wearing Question Mark masks and talking in gibberish. Stevens & Kratos beat The Wildcards to within an inch of their life until a low-blow gives them enough room to escape. Stevens then yells into the microphone at the interview booth that at It's Just Business, it'll be strictly personal between him and Strictly Business.
At It's Just Business, Aron Stevens handles the tag match on his own with JR Kratos' permission, and spends 7 minutes demolishing both members of The Wildcards. He picks up the win to retain the tag titles. However, they have another challenger in The Awakening, who are facing them this Tuesday on Power, and getting all of his anger out on The Wildcards might've been a bad move given he's set to face The Awakening soon.

Perfect Business (Strictly Business vs. Perfect Chaos)

On the Power after the Crockett Cup, The Awakening came out to celebrate their win in the tournament. They're interrupted by The Wildcards, who claim that the beating they received from Aron Stevens & JR Kratos a week ago caused them to lose. Hennig tells them that they would've lost to The Awakening no matter what, and this almost causes a brawl until Nick Aldis enters. He brokers deal, saying that The Wildcards will face Stevens & Kratos for the tag titles at It's Just Business, and The Awakening will get a tag title shot against whomever wins on the following Power. This is accepted by Perfect Chaos.
Strictly Business open Power on the following week. Nick Aldis says he's not happy with Perfect Chaos trying to take over his show. Perfect Chaos come out. Hennig says that while Trevor Murdoch was his original target, he's also not going to allow Strictly Business' antics to go unnoticed. Hennig says that with Murdoch set to face Eli Drake, Hennig will wait to go after the National Heavyweight title until after It's Just Business. In the meantime, he's coming after Nick Aldis. He wanted to teach Strictly Business a lesson, which is that you don't mess with Perfect Chaos. Hennig challenges Aldis for the world title at It's Just Business, but Aldis dismissed the idea. Scott Steiner steps up and tells Hennig to beat him to face Aldis, and Aldis agrees. They also ban their stablemates from ringside.
On May 4th, Perfect Chaos interrupt Aron Stevens & JR Kratos, who are in the middle of an interview. Hennig tells them that they can agree that Strictly Business are slimy snakes, and note that Perfect Chaos don't have to cheat, thanks to Hennig's skill and The Awakening's power. Hennig warns Stevens that if he becomes champion, he'll be a big target for everyone, including Hennig. Hennig then notes that when he wins the title at It's Just Business, he'll be champion against whomever wins the tournament, and if it's Stevens, he'll gladly put him down and out of the title picture.
Later that night, Perfect Chaos save Aron Stevens & JR Kratos against Strictly Business. On May 11th, Perfect Chaos offer a spot in their stable to Stevens & Kratos, based on a mutual hatred of Strictly Business. Stevens & Kratos decline.
In a brutal bout, Joe Hennig defeats Scott Steiner to earn the right to face Nick Aldis. The following week, Perfect Chaos are featured in a video talking about Strictly Business' feud with them and Stevens & Kratos. At It's Just Business, Hennig goes to war with Aldis, but in the end, loses the third fall of the two out of three falls match via countout. Although this is a setback for Perfect Chaos, I feel like it'll be minor, and I definitely expect to see Joe Hennig fighting for the Worlds title again in the future.

Going All The Way (The Pope vs. Fred Rosser & Homicide)

On the first Power after the Crockett Cup, Fred Rosser & Homicide beat The Pope in a handicapped match after Homicide did most of the work. The following week, Pope challenges Homicide to a steel cage match.
In the main event of the May 4th edition of Power, Pope faces off against Homicide in a non-title match. Pope attempts to cheat during their match, but in the end, Homicide comes out with the victory.
The following week, Pope tells Fred Rosser and Homicide that they'll be facing each other to determine the #1 contender to the Television Championship, which they accept. In their match, Fred Rosser comes out on top. Pope attacks Rosser, and when Homicide tries to make the save, he gets put through a table.
In a promo on Power, Pope tells Rosser that their match will have no time limit, and Rosser vows to get revenge for Pope's attack on Homicide. At It's Just Business, Rosser beats Pope after almost 20 minutes to become the new TV champion. He and Homicide celebrate together. I feel like this chapter of these three men's careers isn't quite finished just yet.

Rockin Perfection (The Rock N Roll Express, Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch, & The Von Erichs vs. Perfect Chaos)

On the Power after the Crockett Cup, The Rock N Roll Express interrupted an interview from Perfect Chaos. They tell them that their handicapped match with Hennig was a fair fight, and they respect Hennig. When they offer him a handshake, Hennig claims that he doesn't need their respect and that he's perfect, and disrespects Rock N Roll Express. Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch enter and challenge The Awakening to a match on next week's Power, which they accept.
In their match, The Awakening get the win cleanly over Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch. Two weeks later, Perfect Chaos nearly cost them a match against Jordan Clearwater. On May 18th, Rock N Roll Express come out with Drake & Murdoch, and reveal that they've brought a new team to the NWA. Perfect Chaos enter to mock them, but are surprised to learn that the new signees are Marshall & Ross Von Erich. They watch The Von Erichs get a win over The Dawsons.
Stemming from a challenge on May 18th during the previously mentioned interview, Eli Drake faced off against Joe Hennig. Drake was preoccupied worrying if Hennig would cheat, and lost the match.
At It's Just Business, Trevor Murdoch retains the National Heavyweight Championship over Eli Drake. Afterwards, Perfect Chaos come out and a brawl occurs between them and Rock N Roll, The Von Erichs, and Drake & Murdoch, which results in Perfect Chaos retreating. With Hennig no longer concerned with Nick Aldis, I have a feeling that the issues between him and Trevor Murdoch will come to a head very soon.

It's Kamille's Time (Serena Deeb & Thunder Rosa vs. Kamille)

After winning the NWA World Women's Championship from Serena Deeb at the Crockett Cup, Kamille celebrates on NWA Power, claiming that her training helped her win. Thunder Rosa & Serena Deeb entered and Rosa wanted to claim the title shot that Deeb had promised her. Kamille told her that the promise was null as Deeb had lost the title, but tells Rosa that if she can beat Deeb in a match, she'll get a title shot.
In a hardfought match, Thunder Rosa beat Serena Deeb to become the #1 contender for the title. The following week, the two have an interview and say that there's no bad blood between them, and Rosa calls out Kamille, promising to become a two-time women's champion.
On the final Power before It's Just Business, Thunder Rosa insulted Kamille and slapped her, only for Kamille to respond that she'll get revenge for that on Saturday.
At It's Just Business, Kamille defeated Thunder Rosa to retain the World Women's Championship. Now that Kamille's cemented her reign by beating the former champion I wonder who she'll face next for her title.

American Values (Bad Storm vs. Rene Dupree & Mr. Anderson)

After Tim Storm defeated Rene Dupree in a flag on a pole match at the Crockett Cup, it seemed like he was done with the Frenchman. However, Dupree would challenge Storm, stating that Storm can't beat him in a real match. This led to a challenge for another match at It's Just Business, with Storm making it a No DQ match.
The following week, Storm watches Dupree in a match. On the next week's Power, Dupree demanded to know why Storm was watching him and Storm replies that he was making sure Dupree wouldn't cheat. This leads to a challenge for a tag team match.
On the following Power, Dupree reveals his partner to be Mr. Anderson, but Storm has a bigger surprise, revealing his partner to be returning NWA wrestler James Storm. James Storm picks up the win for his team over Mr. Anderson, which causes a brawl between the two teams.
Tim Storm & James Storm reveal themselves to be Bad Storm, and vow to beat all cheaters in the NWA, starting with Dupree & Anderson. On the final Power before It's Just Business, Bad Storm interrupt Dupree & Anderson's interview, revealing that James Storm has a match against Mr. Anderson in the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament, which is met with anger from Mr. Anderson.
At It's Just Business, Tim Storm faces Rene Dupree with James Storm and Mr. Anderson watching from ringside. In a grueling battle, Storm gets the win over Dupree. While I think these two are done with their issues, it's only the beginning of the issues between James Storm and Mr. Anderson.

Nobody's Better Than Melina (Ashley Vox & ODB vs. Melina & Marti Belle)

On April 20, Ashley Vox faces ODB and Melina in a triple threat match. Vox gets the win by pinning ODB, but after the match, Melina and Marti Belle attack both of them. They explain their actions on the next episode of Power by saying they attacked Vox & ODB because Vox was too much of a coward to get the win by pinning Melina. Vox & ODB enter and challenge them to a tag match, which is accepted.
In their tag match, Vox gets the win for her team by pinning Marti Belle. The two teams brawl afterwards when Melina & Belle attack Vox & ODB again. The next week after ODB loses a match to Kamille, Melina & Belle attack her, but Vox is quick to make the save.
On May 18th, ODB faces Marti Belle as Vox and Melina watch from ringside. The match ends in a double disqualification after all four women end up brawling again. This leads to Billy Corgan coming out and prohibits any more brawling between them, and schedules a series of matches between the two teams of women.
Melina defeats ODB easily in their match on Power. At It's Just Business, Vox defeats Melina by making her tap out. This leads to another brawl, which Billy Corgan breaks up. Corgan says that he's fining all four women, but he's chased out by Melina & Marti Belle. After this, I think Corgan might want the responsibility to overseeing the women's division to be given to someone else.

The Great Dane (Jax Dane)

On April 20th, Jax Dane lost to Matt Cross, continuing his losing streak. The following week he lost to PCO. The next week, Dane teamed with Jordan Clearwater to face Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch, but ended up being pinned by Trevor Murdoch. The frustration built up within Jax Dane until he couldn't take it anymore.
On May 11th, had a rematch with PCO, but this time he won in only four minutes. He beat Brody King in only three minutes the following week. On May 25th, Dane defeated Effy in Effy's NWA debut. He then got on the microphone at the interview booth and said that he wasn't going out without a fight. He was coming after everyone who beat him, and said that people like Matt Cross and Tim Storm were his next targets. Dane also revealed he'd be facing Matt Cross in a first round match of the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament, and he intended to beat Cross, then go all the way and win the tournament, then the title, as he refused to retire until he won the Worlds title one more time.

That's all for this episode of NWA Power Check. There've been a lot of rivalries and hot heads going on in the National Wrestling Alliance as of late, and It's Just Business was nothing more than a stopping point for most of them. I have a feeling many of these feuds will continue into July 17th, at Ten Pounds of Gold. Until then, I'm Joe Galli, and this is the National Wrestling Alliance.

NWA Power (June 1, 2021)

Billy Corgan comes out to open Power. He says that he's tired of having to manage both the men and women of the NWA, so he's hired someone to be the President of The NWA Women's Division. He reveals this position to be held by Mickie James, who enters and says she's going to revamp the entire women's division. She calls out every woman on the roster. She tells ODB and Marti Belle that their match is next, and orders Ashley Vox & Melina to stay backstage during the match. She tells Thunder Rosa that since she's had a women's title shot recently, she won't be getting another one soon, but she is scheduling a rematch between Kamille and Serena Deeb for next week on Power with the title on the line. She then says that after that, she's banned the three women from fighting for an indeterminate amount of time. May Valentine comes forward and asks if there will be any new signings, and Mickie James says that she'll be bringing in new talent to liven up the division, and is lobbying for several improvements, such as an all-women's show. After 10 minutes, the segment ends.

ODB vs. Marti Belle

ODB faces Marti Belle with Mickie James at ringside. In a five minute match, ODB nearly wins after hitting her finisher, but gets a nearfall. As she is arguing with the ref, Belle clobbers her on the back of the head, knocking her out. Mickie James is noticeably looking away. Belle picks up the win via pinfall.

As Belle taunts the crowd, Ashley Vox enters and calls out Belle. When Belle looks over, Vox pulls a beaten Melina out from backstage and throws her on the floor. Belle goes to attack Vox, but Mickie James gets in the way, saying there won't be constant brawls in her women's division, and she forces the four women to leave.

Eli Drake vs. Jordan Clearwater (First Round of Ten Pounds of Gold tournament)

Eli Drake takes on Jordan Clearwater with Trevor Murdoch at ringside. Drake gets the win after 6 minutes.

After his win, Drake is celebrating with Murdoch, when Perfect Chaos come out. Hennig goes to the interview booth and says that Drake lost to him last week because he was preoccupied worrying about Hennig cheating. Hennig says he doesn't have to cheat because he's perfect, and The Awakening don't have to cheat because they're powerful. Drake asks why Hennig lost to Nick Aldis then, and Hennig says that he only lost because Aldis won by countout, and that Aldis isn't his primary concern; Trevor Murdoch is. Murdoch replies that he'll be ready for their match next month at Ten Pounds of Gold, and tells Hennig to get ready. Hennig replies that he'll be ready, and leaves.

Tim Storm vs. Mr. Anderson

In a rematch from April, Tim Storm faces Mr. Anderson, as James Storm & Rene Dupree watch from ringside. Anderson tries to cheat repeatedly with attempt eye-pokes and low-blows, but Storm avoids every one, and wins the match after 8 minutes.

A 3 minute video airs, highlighting Jax Dane's NWA career. Footage showing his National Heavyweight and Worlds Heavyweight title wins play, and Dane says he'll win both belts one more time before his career is over. He says that he never lost his National Heavyweight Championship because it was vacated due to injury. and he's going to reclaim it as soon as he can, but first he wants to come for the Worlds Heavyweight title. He says that before that though, he's got to deal with Matt Cross, who's still hiding from him. Dane says that Cross can't hide when it's time for their match in the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament. He says that when he wins the tournament and beats Aldis for the title, he wants his first opponent to be Tim Storm, the man who took the title away from him. He doesn't care that Aldis took away Storm's chance at getting the title. He wants to fight Storm with the title on the line, just so he can prove he's a better champion than Storm was.

Fred Rosser & Homicide come out to celebrate Rosser's NWA World Television Championship win. He thanks the fans and says he outlasted Pope once again. Pope comes out to say that he passed out, but he didn't tap out. Therefore, Rosser has never truly beaten Pope in a one-on-one match. Pope demands that in two weeks, they face off on Power with the title on the line, in a two out of three falls match, since if it's good enough for the Worlds title, it's good enough for the World Television title. He also says that he wants to make it a first round match of the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament, and that he wants Homicide banned from ringside. Rosser accepts.

Aron Stevens & JR Kratos (c) vs. The Awakening (NWA World Tag Team Championships)

After retaining the titles over The Wildcards, Aron Stevens & JR Kratos must defend the tag titles against The Awakening, as Joe Hennig watches from ringside. Stevens puts up a valiant effort, but The Awakening stop him from tagging out, and they allow him to wear himself down, before then using all of their power moves on him. After 15 minutes, Stevens is on the end of their tag team finisher, and Vik pins him for the win, making The Awakening the new tag champions.

NWA Power (June 8, 2021)

Aron Stevens & JR Kratos start the show with an interview. Stevens says that his Ten Pounds of Gold match is next week against a mystery opponent, who will be making his NWA debut. Stevens says he respects this man and is looking forward to a good honest match. He says that honest matches are something that Nick Aldis don't know anything about, and calls Aldis a coward, for cheating to retain the title over him and for beating Hennig by countout. He spends a minute talking about Perfect Chaos. Stevens says that he won't allow the loss of his and Kratos' tag titles to Awakening last week get him down, and he says that while he won't be facing Hennig in the tournament, he has a feeling they'll meet in the ring sooner or later. He says that he refuses to throw away his ideals just to get a win over Nick Aldis, and repeats his vow to win the tournament and title for Question Mark.

Ricky Morton vs. Rene Dupree (First Round of Ten Pounds of Gold Tournament)

Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch, Robert Gibson, and The Von Erichs watch from ringside. Dupree starts out on top, but when Morton starts to control the match, Dupree gets scared and cheats to win after 7 minutes.

After cheating to win, Rene Dupree is beaten around by The Rock N Roll Express, Drake & Trevor Murdoch, and The Von Erichs. Mr. Anderson is noticeably missing.

Matt Cross comes out for an interview to respond to Jax Dane, but Dane comes out before he can talk. He tells Dane that if he's got something to say, then say it to his face. Cross tells Dane that he's right; he is a former NWA Worlds Champion, but that was the past. Now there are fresh faces in the NWA, and it's time for them to shine. With Dave Dawson at ringside, Zane Dawson defeats Effy in 4 minutes.

PCO vs. Jordan Clearwater

With Brody King at ringside, PCO defeats Jordan Clearwater in 6 minutes.

Mickie James comes out and introduces the team of Rachael Ellering and Shaul Guerrero. They take the mic and say that they're here to destroy, lie, cheat, and steal. They call out Ashley Vox & ODB to be their first opponents, and when they come out, they ignore DLCS and go straight to the ring.

Ashley Vox & ODB vs. DLCS

Vox & ODB take on Ellering & Guerrero. Vox has control of the match and tags in ODB to get the win. This is going according to plan until Marti Belle comes out and attacks her while the referee is distracted by Guerrero. Ellering picks up the win for her team after 6 minutes.

Vox goes to attack Marti Belle, but Belle hits her with a steel chair. She takes the chair into the ring as Mickie James comes out. James threatens to suspend her, but Belle ignores her and stomps onto ODB's ankle as the chair is on it. She smashes ODB with the chair multiple times as James yells from ringside. Once done, she leaves smirking at James as Vox & ODB lay knocked out.

A 3 minute video airs, showcasing Fred Rosser's rivalry with The Pope. Rosser says he doesn't get why Pope had to go so far, since he'd still be champion if he hadn't. Rosser says he was just happy to get a time limit draw. A separate interview with Pope comes onto the screen and says that nobody beats The Pope and gets away with it, especially not someone who comes in and wins the belt just because of where they used to work. Homicide appears next to Rosser and says that the last time Pope got in the way of Homicide's friends, it didn't end well for Pope. This time will be no different, and Fred Rosser will remain the NWA World Television Champion after the final fall.

Kamille (c) vs. Serena Deeb (NWA World Women's Championship)

Finally getting her rematch, Serena Deeb faces Kamille with Thunder Rosa at ringside. Putting up a fight, Deeb takes it to Kamille and is relentless, but when Deeb goes to hit a diving elbow on Kamille, Kamille moves out of the way. Kamille then takes control of the match, and spends the remaining three minutes dominating Deeb. After 9 minutes, Kamille pins Deeb and gets the win to retain the title.

Strictly Business comes out to celebrate with Kamille. However, she shirks away from them and leaves, but Mickie James comes out and celebrates with them in her place.

NWA Power (June 15, 2021)

Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch, The Rock N Roll Express, The Von Erichs, and Bad Storm come out for an interview about their rivalries. Tim Storm says he's done with Rene Dupree, and wishes Rock N Roll Express luck in teaching that pretentious punk some manners. The Rock N Roll Express say they've had enough of Perfect Chaos, and tell Murdoch & Drake that if they need help against Perfect Chaos, Rock N Roll Express are there. The Von Erichs state their intention to go after the tag titles in the future, calling out The Awakening and telling them that when the time comes, they won't be able to escape the iron claw. James Storm says that he's not done with Mr. Anderson yet, and asks for Tim Storm to be in his corner, and Tim Storm agrees. After a 10 minute segment, the new battle lines have been drawn: Bad Storm vs. Mr. Anderson, Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch vs. Perfect Chaos, and The Rock N Roll Express & The Von Erichs vs. Rene Dupree.

Aron Stevens comes out with JR Kratos for his Ten Pounds of Gold tournament match. The opponent turns out to be JTG! Instead of going to the ring, JTG goes to the interview booth, and forfeits to Aron Stevens. JTG tells Stevens that they've both lost people they worked with who were their friends, and that he's disgusted by Strictly Business' treatment of Stevens & Kratos and the death of Jocephus. JTG says that watching Power and seeing The Wildcards mock Question Mark broke him, and he demanded for Billy Corgan to bring him in so he could help Stevens against them. JTG wishes Stevens luck in the tournament, and the two shake hands and leave celebrating.

Mr. Anderson vs. Rene Dupree

Angry at Mr. Anderson for not helping him last week, Rene Dupree takes him on as Bad Storm watch from ringside grinning at the action. The two try cheating against each other in the match, with Dupree coming out on top, and getting the win by stuffing toilet paper down Mr. Anderson's throat as the ref isn't looking. Choking Anderson out like this, Dupree then uses a submission hold, further choking Anderson, who taps out to give Dupree the win after a chaotic 7 minute match.

Effy vs. Jordan Clearwater

In a 9 minute match, Effy defeats Jordan Clearwater.

Ashley Vox is shown in a hospital room with ODB. Mickie James enters to see about her condition. Vox asks why she was with Strictly Business last week, and James ignores the question. She says that she's not happy with Belle and the suspension will last until the Power before Ten Pounds of Gold. She also says she's giving Vox a chance to get revenge on Belle at Ten Pounds of Gold. After 3 minutes, James leaves.

Fred Rosser (c) vs. The Pope (NWA World Television Championship)

Fred Rosser makes his first defense of the TV Title against former champion The Pope. The two are in a two out of three falls match with Homicide banned from ringside. The match starts out as a pure wrestling match, but Pope realizes his can't beat Rosser at his own game. He tries cheating, but this backfires when Rosser avoids a chairshot meant for him, then rolls Pope up from behind. Pope doesn't kick out, and Rosser gets the first fall. Pope rolls to the outside to collect himself. Rosser follows, but Pope sucker punches him. Pope beats up Rosser and gets him in the ring for a pin, but only gets a 2 count. Pope goes to the turnbuckle padding and begins removing it. He goes back to Rosser and throws Rosser towards the exposed turnbuckle, but Rosser reverses it and Pope is sent flying into the exposed steel. Pope wobbles and turns around, as Rosser hits his finisher. Rosser gets the pin and the second straight fall. winning and retaining the NWA World Television Championship after a 26 minute match.

NWA Power (June 22, 2021)
Aron Stevens & JR Kratos come out and thanks JTG for forfeiting last week. However, Stevens says he wants a fight, and calls out Fred Rosser. When Rosser enters, Stevens says that according to the tournament brackets, they'll be facing off in the quarter finals at the Ten Pounds of Gold PPV. He makes Rosser promise not to forfeit, and give him a good match, which Rosser promises to do. As they're leaving, Strictly Business enter, with Mickie James, and say that JTG had no right to forfeit that match. Aldis calls JTG out, and says he wants to face JTG personally, but Rosser, Stevens, & Kratos get in the way, telling Strictly Business to go through them. Aldis mocks them, telling Stevens & Kratos that they aren't even champions anymore, and Stevens & Kratos respond by saying that at least they lost the belts to a better team than The Wildcards. The Wildcards take offense to this, and demand a 4v4 match. Stevens says that instead, he wants Rosser & JTG to face The Wildcards next week, then Aldis can face JTG in 2 weeks, then on the final Power before Ten Pounds of Gold, Stevens, Kratos, Rosser, & JTG will face Strictly Business. Strictly Business accept. After 10 minutes, the segment ends.

The Rock N Roll Express vs. Rene Dupree

Wanting revenge for Dupree cheating in the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament, Rock N Roll Express face Rene Dupree. Dupree tries to cheat multiple times, but with The Von Erichs at ringside, he's unable to do anything significant. After 8 minutes, Ricky Morton gets the win over Dupree.

Fred Rosser makes an open challenge for his title, which is responded to by Zane Dawson

In a chaotic match, Zane Dawson is fighting hard against Fred Rosser, but Rosser isn't budget. As the 6:05 time limit nearly expires, Rosser finally gets the advantage, and wins to retain his title in 5:57.

Mickie James comes out and introduces the newest signing to the NWA, Allysin Kay! Kay enters and says that she's glad to be back in the NWA, but then questions Mickie James. Why is Mickie with Strictly Business? Mickie ignores the question and Ashley Vox enters and repeats it. Under pressure, James leaves, and Kay takes the microphone and says that she's never liked Melina or Marti Belle, and she's backing Vox & ODB.

Matt Cross vs. Jax Dane (First Round of Ten Pounds of Gold Tournament)

As soon as the bell rings, Jax Dane demolishes Matt Cross, and beats him in 4 minutes to advance to the quarter finals of the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament.

Picking up where she left off, May Valentine opens her talk show by discussing the NWA Women's Division. She says that she's glad Billy Corgan has put a strong woman in control of the division, and that she's glad Mickie is in Strictly Business. She says she's glad Mickie gets to work with her husband, Nick Aldis, in Strictly Business, and that if she were a wrestler, she'd definitely compete alongside her boyfriend, Royce Isaacs. Valentine says that Allysin Kay and Ashley Vox should stop asking why, saying that if they had a significant other in the group, they'd join Strictly Business too. She says that while she thinks MIckie might be a bit strict, and says that she personally wouldn't have suspended Marti Belle for a month, but that she agrees with whatever Mickie feels is best. She says she hopes Mickie has more signings in the future, and that she thinks DLCS is a better signing than Allysin Kay.

Perfect Chaos come out for an interview about The Awakening holding the tag titles. Hennig says that soon he'll be the National Heavyweight Champion, and eventually he'll come after the Worlds Heavyweight Championship again. Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch come out, and challenge Perfect Chaos to prove everything they've said by defending the tag titles against them next week against Drake & Murdoch. Awakening & Hennig accept.

James Storm vs. Mr. Anderson (First Round of Ten Pounds of Gold Tournament)

James Storm faces Mr. Anderson with Tim Storm at ringside. The two put on a serious match, and Anderson actually doesn't try to cheat, proving he can fight clean. However, Anderson begins to wear down and Storm continues to brawl with him. After 15 minutes, Storm picks up the win to advance in the tournament.

NWA Power (June 29, 2021)

Ashley Vox & Allysin Kay come out. Vox calls out Kamille, stating that she's coming for her and wants to capture her first NWA World Women's Championship. Kamille enters and tells Vox that in her opinion, Vox hasn't earned a title shot. Mickie James then enters and reminds Kamille that she's the one in charge of the women's division, and that she makes the title matches. She tells Vox that if Vox can beat Marti Belle at Ten Pounds of Gold, then she'll get a shot at Kamille's title on August 28th. Kamille looks displeased and starts to protest and James says that if it upsets Kamille that much, then she's scheduling a bout between Kamille and Allysin Kay for next week to prepare Kamille for more challengers.

Homicide vs. Zane Dawson (First Round of Ten Pounds of Gold Tournament)

With Dave Dawson at ringside, Homicide faces Zane Dawson. After 7 minutes, Homicide picks up the win to advance to the quarter finals of the tournament.

Brody King vs. Chris Adonis (First Round of Ten Pounds of Gold Tournament)

Making his NWA debut, Chris Adonis takes on Brody King for a spot in the quarter finals of the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament. In a chaotic match, Adonis picks up the win in 9 minutes by submission.

Chris Adonis goes to the interview booth, and says that he is the best submission wrestler in the world, and that he'll win the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament. He then says that based on the tournament brackets, he'll be facing Homicide at the Ten Pounds of Gold PPV in their quarter final match, and Adonis disrespects Homicide, calling him a dirty maniac. Homicide runs out and Adonis runs to the other side of the room. Homicide takes the mic and tells Adonis that he is a deranged maniac, but that gives him an edge in matches, and it means he can beat pretty boys like Adonis. Adonis slides away to the back, and the segment ends after 3 minutes.

Serena Deeb & Thunder Rosa vs. DLCS

Serena Deeb & Thunder Rosa take on Rachael Ellering & Shaul Guerrero of DLCS. In a fiery battle, the two teams fight hard, but in the end, Thunder Rosa gets the victory for her team via pinfall over Shaul Guerrero after Guerrero's attempt to cheat failed.

Fred Rosser & JTG vs. The Wildcards

With Aron Stevens, JR Kratos, Nick Aldis, Scott Steiner, and Mickie James at ringside, Fred Rosser & JTG team up to take on The Wildcards. The Wildcards cheat early on, but when JTG tags in Rosser, he's able to take control. When Rosser hits his finisher and goes for the pin, Steiner drags out the referee. Stevens & Kratos then brawl on the outside with Aldis & Steiner. Back in the ring, Rosser & JTG are distracted, and Royce Isaacs low-blows Rosser. He gets a nearfall before JTG breaks up the pin. Isaacs backs JTG into a corner, only for Rosser to roll him up from behind. Latimer tries to get in the ring, but Kratos pulls him off the apron, and Rosser pins Isaacs for the win after 12 minutes.

The Rock N Roll Express enter with The Von Erichs. They say that they're still mad about Rene Dupree cheating in the tournament, and they call out Eli Drake, who enters with Trevor Murdoch. They say that with the brackets set up as they are, Drake will face Dupree at the PPV on July 17th, and they ask him to personally beat the daylights out of Dupree. Drake promises to take out Dupree at the PPV and get revenge for Rock N Roll Express and that he won't let Dupree win the tournament.

The Awakening (c) vs. Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch (NWA World Tag Team Championships)

With Joe Hennig at ringside, Drake & Murdoch face The Awakening for the tag titles. Murdoch starts off against Kon, and Kon doesn't allow Murdoch to tag out. Kon pounds on Murdoch, and Murdoch's gas tank empties quickly. Drake is trying to get the tag, but is helpless on the outside as he watches Murdoch get beaten up by Kon & Vik, who tag in and out to pound on Murdoch. After 9 minutes, Vik picks up the win against Murdoch, retaining the tag titles.

NWA Power (July 6, 2021)

The Rock N Roll Express come out with Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch and The Von Erichs. They say that before Ten Pounds of Gold, they want a match with Perfect Chaos and Rene Dupree. Perfect Chaos comes out, followed by Rene Dupree. They accept the challenge, and state that next week on power, it'll be them vs. The Rock N Roll Express & Drake & Murdoch in a 4v4 match. After 5 minutes, the segment ends.

Effy vs. The Pope

In a chaotic match, The Pope easily beats Effy in 6 minutes.

Homicide comes out for an interview. He says that Chris Adonis should've thought about what he said last week, because now he's got Homicide on his trail. Homicide says that at Ten Pounds of Gold, he's going to show Adonis what pain is, and he'll wipe that smirk off Adonis' face. After 3 minutes, the segment ends.

Taeler Hendrix vs. DLCS

Taeler Hendrix makes her NWA debut against Rachael Ellering & Shaul Guerrero of DLCS. After 5 minutes, DLCS pick up the win when Ellering pins Hendrix.

Brody King vs. Jordan Clearwater

In a 9 minute match, King beats Jordan Clearwater and picks up the win.

Jax Dane enters for an interview. He states that his reign as The Great Dane will continue, and that he will win the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament. He says that since he's facing James Storm in the tournament at the PPV, he wants Storm to come out an face him. Both Tim & James Storm enter, and James Storm tells Dane that he must be confused, since it's James Storm who's winning the entire tournament and the Worlds title. Dane ignores him, getting in Tim Storm's face. Dane says he knows that it eats Tim Storm alive that he can't challenge for the Worlds Title ever again. Dane tells Storm that if Storm helps him win the tournament and the title, he'll give Tim Storm a title shot, but only because he wants revenge on Storm for ending his title reign. Storm declines, stating that he had a good reign, but he's done chasing the Worlds title. Angry at this remark, Dane challenges Bad Storm to a tag match next week, and they accept. Mr. Anderson comes out and volunteers to be Dane's partner, which Dane accepts, and Anderson mocks James Storm, promising to win next week. After 5 minutes, the segment ends.

Kamille (c) vs. Allysin Kay (NWA World Women's Championship)

As Ashley Vox and Mickie James watch from ringside, Kay puts on a hard fight, but Kamille is able to dismantle her and gets the win after 8 minutes.

May Valentine's talk show opens with her discussing the Ten Pounds of Gold tournament. She says that she sees a lot of interesting names going into the quarter finals. She says that she knows Aron Stevens shouldn't be in this tournament because he only got to the quarter finals through JTG forfeiting, but it's fine because he won't get through the 3 matches needed to face Nick Aldis. Valentine states that Aldis could beat any of the people in the tournament anyway.

JTG vs. Nick Aldis

In a non-title match, JTG takes on Nick Aldis. At one side of the ring are Scott Steiner and The Wildcards with Mickie James. On the opposite side are Aron Stevens & JR Kratos with Fred Rosser. In a chaotic match, Aldis spends much of the time threatening to cheat, doing mannerisms which suggests he's about to pull a fast-one. The mindgames work, and after 8 minutes Aldis picks up the win over JTG.

NWA Power (July 13, 2021)

Eli Drake, Trevor Murdoch, & The Rock N Roll Express vs. Perfect Chaos & Rene Dupree

As The Von Erichs watch from ringside, Eli Drake & Trevor Murdoch team up with The Rock N Roll Express to face Perfect Chaos & Rene Dupree. Joe Hennig starts off against Drake. Drake remembers how Hennig worked in their previous match, and is able to keep up with him. Hennig, realizing some power is needed, tags out to Vik. Vik comes in and destroys Drake, and gets a nearfall. Drake manages to get a hot tag to Trevor Murdoch, who comes in and gets some momentum before Vik regains control. Vik tags out to Kon and they double-team Murdoch with their tag finisher, Kon goes for the pin, but Drake & Rock N Roll Express break it up. Hennig & Vik come in and force them out. Murdoch is distracted by this, and ends up getting attacked from behind by Kon. Murdoch goes down, and Kon looks at him before hearing someone yelling behind him. He turns around to see Dupree begging for a tag. Kon is distracted by this and looks at Dupree with amusement. He looks at Hennig & Vik, who say that they have the match won, so why not tag in Dupree. Vik tags in Dupree. When he comes in, he's hit by a sudden spear by Eli Drake, who was tagged in by Murdoch. Drake then picks up Dupree and hits a spinebuster, then drags Dupree to the other side of the ring and hits his finisher, getting the win after 10 minutes.

Allysin Kay & Ashley Vox vs. DLCS

Allysin Kay & Ashley Vox take on DLCS. Kay & Vox have control of the match, until Marti Belle, fresh off her suspension, appears. Belle doesn't interfere, but her presence distracts Vox. Suddenly, Shaul Guerrero hits her finisher on Vox, and gets the win after 9 minutes.

Belle taunts Vox. Vox & Kay go towards her, but Mickie James appears and gets between them, stating that she won't have a problem fining or firing anyone who causes trouble. Then from behind Belle, Melina comes out, making her return. Then the crowd comes alive and when everyone turns, they see ODB coming through the crowd! The women face off, but with Kay, Vox, and ODB having a 3-2 advantage now, Melina & Belle simply taunt them then leave.

Effy vs. Chris Adonis

In a chaotic 4 minute match, Chris Adonis defeats Effy.

Homicide comes out and walks towards the ring carrying a garbage can full of weapons. Adonis scrambles out and to the back. Homicide goes to the interview booth and says that Adonis is scared of him. He tells Adonis to get though quick, because Homicide is going to bring it all at Ten Pounds of Gold, and he won't hesitate to beat Adonis ruthlessly to show Adonis that no matter how pretty you look, when you get in the ring all the makeup comes off.

Bad Storm vs. Jax Dane & Mr. Anderson

Jax Dane opens the match against Tim Storm. and in a preview of what's the happen Saturday, the two brawl for 7 minutes before they clobber each other with massive blows, and both men go down. They drag themselves to their partners, and tag out at the same time. Tim Storm comes in against Mr. Anderson. Storm controls the match until Anderson low-blows him while the referee is preoccupied as James Storm and Jax Dane brawl on the outside. He pins Storm, but the referee isn't looking so he gets up and goes to the referee. Suddenly, Tim Storm rolls up Anderson from behind and the referee counts the pin. Storm gets the win after 11 minutes.

May Valentine opens her talk show, but before she can get to today's topic Kamille and Mickie James walk on set arguing. Kamille asks why James made a title match and a #1 contenders match without asking her, and James responds that she has full control over the NWA Women's Division. Kamille says that she thinks nobody deserves a title shot, and James responds that regardless of what Kamille thinks, she's going to face either Ashley Vox or Marti Belle after Ten Pounds of Gold. They're in each other's face as Strictly Business comes out and separates them. Nick Aldis states that there will be no dissension within Strictly Business, and orders them to shake hands, which they do. Strictly Business leave together with Kamille and Mickie James, and May Valentine says that she was just about to talk about the tension between Kamille and Mickie James. Valentine says that in her opinion, James is in the right and since she has control over the women's division, she can make title matches whenever she wants.

Aron Stevens, JR Kratos, Fred Rosser, & JTG vs. Strictly Business

With Mickie James at ringside, Aron Stevens, JR Kratos, Fred Rosser, and JTG face Strictly Business. JTG starts off against Scott Steiner, who throws JTG around the ring. JTG manages to tag out to JR Kratos, who evens it up with Steiner. and the two men tussle hard. Kratos tags out to Stevens, and the two are about to do a double team move on Steiner, but he gets out of it and shoves Stevens intro Kratos. Steiner tags out to Aldis, and Aldis and Stevens have a staredown in the ring. They stare at each other for several seconds until as Stevens goes towards Aldis, Aldis tags out to Royce Isaacs. Stevens quickly dismantles Isaacs, before tagging out to Fred Rosser. They do a double team move on Isaacs and Rosser goes for the pin, only for a kickout. As Rosser picks him up, Isaacs eye-pokes him, and quickly tags out to Tom Latimer. Disoriented, Rosser can't see, and Arno Stevens tags himself back in before Latimer can get across the ring. He dodges a punch from Latimer, then lays in on him. When Isaacs tries getting in the ring, the other three men on Stevens' team run in an throw him out. Aldis & Steiner stay on the apron, and when the other three return to their side, Stevens hits his finisher and goes for the cover, only for Steiner to break it up. Rosser, JTG, and Kratos rush in and attack Steiner as Aldis enters the ring and clocks them with the Worlds title as the ref isn't looking. Spotting Stevens holding onto the ropes, he goes to hit Stevens, but Stevens ducks it and Aldis goes over the top rope. Steiner tries to clothesline Stevens, but he ducks again and Steiner goes over the top, landing on Aldis. Stevens hits his finisher on a wornout Latimer, and gets the win for his team after 15 minutes.
