I was inspired by that Hulk Hogan rebooking and have decided that this is actually fun? And less time consuming than the WWE one I will also continue doing.

NOTE: Unless noted, all rebookings contained there-in are canon to main rebooking, found here: JOSH SPICER'S REBOOKING - WWE 2003-2005: RUTHLESS AGGRESSION.

Since updates to that are fairly slow, I've supported it via quick rebookings held before, during, or after the present status of the main rebooking. Due to the ongoing nature of it, any PPVs posted in the main thread are considered "non spoilers." Anything related to after that point in time that is revealed in this thread is put in spoiler tags to avoid revealing anything outright.

Sting Add-On: NJPW (2001 to 2006)

Due to Sting becoming an icon in Japan as well as in WCW, after WCW closes, he continues utilizing his Time Warner Contract up through March of 2002 to participate in NJPW. Following its expiration, he signs a two year contract through March of 2004, then a 9 month contract through January of 2005, and finally an additional one year contract that runs through January 2006 where he decides not to resign, opting instead to sign with TNA.

(Writer's Note: I am still not fully sure if I want this to be considered canon with my other main bookings since I have already done all of WWE and TNA/Impact and Sting still signs with them in 2006. For the sake of posterity, consider all the bookings in this thread an alternate universe among itself.)

Following WCW's closure in March of 2001, Sting takes a small break from wrestling before being coerced into returning to New Japan.

Dominion 6.20 09: Appears as Nakamura's usual second (still visibly subdued), but also appears after Tanahashi's title win to challenge him.

For the next few weeks, Nakamura is less than pleased with his decision. Hart tells Nakamura to trust him. His only interest is in Nakamura's future.

Circuit 09 New Japan Soul Night 7: CHAOS (Nakamura and Hart) vs. Tanahashi and Honma - CHAOS (Hart pins Honma after Nakamura hits his finisher. Nakamura and Hart confront each other but still put the beating to their opponents. When Hart grabs the title, Nakamura forces him to hand it over. Hart complies).
G1 Climax 09 Night 8: IWGP Title - Tanahashi (C) vs. Hart - Hart (immediately after winning it, Nakamura comes out and forces him to hand it over. Hart complies, throwing it at his feet angrily before leaving the ring. Nakamura takes it, but the title is announced vacant as they cant just be handed over).
Masahiro Chono 25th Anniversary ~ Aristrist In Ryogoku Kokugikan~: Hart vs. Sting - Sting (Hart would start to second Nakamura for his title match later that night, but Nakamura forces him to return to the back)
Destruction 09: Doesn't second Nakamura to the ring, something the champ is rather unhappy with. Hart would later appear when Nakamura needs help. Hart helps him to victory, but afterwards, Nakamura slaps and berates him for not falling in line. CHAOS swarms the ring and starts to separate them. The two would seen again meet face-to-face. Nakamura would offer Hart his hand and Hart would take it. Not long after, Nakamura blasts Hart in the back of the head with the title. Nakamura starts to beat on Hart with CHAOS reluctantly joining in.
Circuit 09 New Japan Alive Night 11: Appears after Nakamura's match to attack him and officially make claim to the title.

Wrestle Kingdom IV: IWGP Title vs. Hart's Career - Nakamura (C) vs. Hart - Nakamura

Despite being under contract with NJPW until the end of January, Hart is allowed to make his appearance in WWE on January 11 (not January 4, obviously). This doesn't affect the "Monday Night Wars" because there isn't any in this timeline.

Circuit 09 ~Farewell Hitman, Good Night Bret Hart~: Appears once more as a farewell to New Japan, who revitalized a career he didn't even know he had. He also thanks Sting and the Inokis for bringing him in and keeping him here. He thanks Choshu for giving him new purpose, and yes, even thanks Nakamura for being the best damn wrestler that the world has ever known (his words). Hart ends the night by leaving his boots and sunglasses in the ring, officially retiring from professional wrestling (and does not squander it with a match in WWE).

Enjoyed the Bret Hart booking, a lot to digest there. I hated the way Bret started in WCW, he was a major signing but they didn’t seem to know what to do with him to begin with. I liked the fact you carried on his career and didn’t have the injury, granted 2010 may be pushing it but his work in Japan was solid. I also liked what you did in his WCW run in 99/2000, a Bret/Storm match or feud woulda been awesome. Yeah, great work so far with these quick re-bookings, great creativity shown to book something so different to what actually happened with both Sting and Bret.

Hell, Flair wrestled decent to good matches beyond that. And many would argue Hart was better than Flair in the ring.

Though yes I will admit I might've lost the narrative a bit towards the end there, but a good solid year to rest and recuperate and retrain and then to come back to do a few fantastic matches and then one large burst of active singles matches seems somewhat realistic.
