A little question: how to improve finances easily? In my ECW 2001 save/diary, we're medium sized, but we've been losing money (not much per month, though) since day one. We have most of the roster under exclusive contract and we're running two house shows a week. We only get 10% of revenue from MTV, which isn't exactly a super bright deal for us... I'm thinking about running all TV shows and PPVs from the Tri-State area and occasionally going to the closest territories, like Mid Atlantic, New England and Great Lakes and nothing else, at least for a while so we can have better attendances and ratings (due to our popularity there). Due to the roster we have, and since we have a nice group of wrestlers exclusive to us, I'm thinking a 30-minute/1-hour B-show can be a good idea to build the low card, even though we'd need a far better revenue deal than what we have in the A-show. We could also use OVW and HWA wrestlers there. What do you guys think? Any tips? Usually TV and PPV is the way to go. Other things you can do is to: - trim the roster and rely more on loaned workers (using working agreements or alliances) - go for cheaper production values and such. - try to inactivate backstage stuff like hotels, travels, catering that isn't necessary. - remove drug testing if you already haven't to save money.

I was left wondering after the latest TEW reviews published in this forum: do you guys also think that TEW 2016 is the best out of the last three versions? I mean, I agree that 2016 is the game that LOOKED better and has the better scenarios and databases (in terms of variety at least) out of the most recent three, but I feel like overall TEW 2020 is a way better game than 2016. I can't give my opinion on TEW IX yet, and even if I'm tempted to buy it, I won't before any promising-looking database is released... and the price is dropped somehow. Still, I reckon that TEW 2016 has some ups over 2020, like the customization of product and the option to loan a worker in exchange for cash instead of another worker. Anyway... to properly compare both, I may need to touch TEW 2016 again, so I'm open to suggestions: what's your favorite scenario/db for 2016? Asaemon marc91 creativeleader81 Frank Reed johnnyboombatz (and everyone else!) Edit with another question: how well does the scenario conversion (from 2016 to 2020) feature work?I'm definitely a big fan of TEW 2016 and currently playing this game on my diary. My favorite DB is Choose Your Direction by AsaemonI'm definitely a big fan of TEW 2016 and currently playing this game on my diary. My favorite DB is Choose Your Direction by AsaemonInteresting. I've always wanted to try the Choose Your Direction DB because I know he puts a lot of effort into it and I'm sure the DB is great. I just never tried it (honestly) because I'm using TEW 2020 since it came out, pretty much... Genadi's DBs were also fantastic, from what I recall. Thanks guys! Looking forward to when December 1993 is fully updated, then I can continue with the other variants like August 1993. Shouldn't take that long turning back or forward a couple of months. Roadmap December 1993 August 1993 Maybe March 1994 or August 1992.

Yeah, I'll definitely use more talent trades if I end up having a second TV show. Interestingly enough, I've just raised my production values two weeks ago, so the show looks better. I don't think the wages are significantly higher, but we'll see at the end of the month. The backstage tip is one to follow, thanks! Of course I have drug testing turned off. It's ECW and I don't want to lose 85% of the guys

What is everyone's best results with the angle system? I'm getting crap ratings every single angle. I had Jack Bruce and Christian Faith cut a promo on each other and got a 77. I feel like in 20 that would have gotten me an 85 plus 99 percent of the time. I'm clearly doing something wrong but the fact that I can't see what someone is being rated on makes it more difficult. If I knew this person was being rated on pop and this person on overness it would make it a lot easier. Any tips or tricks? Someone mentioned to make sure you're including advance storyline but that hasn't done much. Not loving it so far.
