🎖️ CHAMPIONS 🎖️

AWA International Television Title: Diamond Dallas Page
AWA World Tag Team Titles: Lanny The Clever and Chris Candido
SEGMENT - Larry Zbyszko is among the announcers tonight, as he was at the last Championship Wrestling show. He says Pillman, who blamed himself last week, was the real culprit. "Look at this, the current face of the company and the AWA World champion can't fight anyone because of a maniac who's determined to be the face of the company! It's a disgrace!" Bockwinkel also supports these words.
Jeff Jarrett defeated Bart Sawyer (w/Leif Cassidy) in 4:57
Jarrett submitted Sawyer with Figure Four Leglock.
James Sandoval defeated Pitbull #2 in 6:40
Sandoval pinned Pitbull #2 with Missile Dropkick.
STAR REVIEW WITH TULLY BLANCHARD - Blanchard's subject in this episode is Ricky Steamboat. After the mysterious attack on the Steamboat months ago is brought up again by Ventura, Blanchard takes up the matter. He says that Steamboat is a real loser and there isn't a single person in the company who loves him. “This is the truth Ricky. Not even this company itself loves you! The attack on you has been forgotten. Tell me, has AWA done any research? Did Mr. Reed, whom you love so much, take any action? Whereas, you defended this company whenever I insulted it. Did he defend you? Did they stand by you? I wouldn't be surprised if Frank Reed comes out after this attack."
The Rock 'n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) defeated Eric Embry and Dr. Painkiller in 8:43
Gibson pinned Painkiller. The former champions, who will surprisingly play for the AWA World Tag title again this Sunday, intimidated their opponents with this match.
SEGMENT - Lanny talks about Morton and Gibson, who will be their opponents this Sunday. They sat all week with Chris Candido and watched how they used to win championships. They rewatched the video recordings by constantly rewinding. They have calculated everything and the belts will remain with them.

Unorthodox Cirice (Bam Bam Bigelow and Red Hook Machine) (w/Jesse Ventura) defeated Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit (w/Brian Pillman) in 11:55
Red Hook submitted Benoit with Kati Hajime. During the match, Pillman at the ringside and Zbyszko at the announcer's table came face-to-face until they almost got into a fight. However, nothing happened with the intervention of the officials. Bam Bam and Red Hook weren't in their mode so they couldn't put on a good match. Benoit's performance skills improved with this match.
