Non-Title Match: Ric Flair (w/ Bobby Heenan) def. Barry Windham by submission in 7:08 with the figure four. The announcers seem impressed by Windham, but Flair knows all the tricks and defeats him (80)

Postmatch The Four Horsemen get in the ring and Flair says that things didn't go according to plan (Ted DiBiase rolls his eyes), but he's not afraid of Stan Hansen! He's Ric Flair and will leave the supershow with the World Title, no matter who is wrestling, then going out all night long! Stan Hansen and The Funks get on the stage, with Gary Hart standing up to make sure that they keep their distance from the ring. Hart says that the main event for Parade of Champions is now made, but he will announce another bout now: DiBiase will team up with Devastation Inc, who apparently have some business deal with them, to take on The Funks and Bruiser Brody in a Street Fight! DiBiase is not happy, as Dory Jr. wants revenge, while Flair is a bit worried that Brody will be at the show too! (79)

The Midnight Express, Magnum TA & Terry Taylor (w/ Bobby Heenan and Sherri) def. The Rock & Roll Express & The Fantastics in 9:12 by pinfall when Eaton uses a dirty roll up on Morton. R&R and Fantastics had many chances to win the match, but they are not working really well together (75)

On stage Bill Mercer interviews Tito Santana and asks him about his PoC match against Magnum TA. Santana says that Magnum seems like a good talent, not an idiot like Bill Irwin or Terry Taylor at least, but he doesn't know why they hate Texas so much and are trying to mess with him and Brian Adias. Well, if they hate Texas, he will make sure that they are kicked out of here! Irwin approaches Santana and is not happy about being called an idiot, goes face to face with him, but Santana slaps him and goes away with Sunshine! (68)

Tommy Rich def. Mr. X by pinfall in 8:00 with a sitout suplex. X twists his ankle and asks for a break, but Rich pushes the referee away and hits his finisher to win. Chris Adams is at ringside and seems upset about them not getting along. Gary Hart mentions that Tully Blanchard will team with X again at PoC, to take on Adams and Rich (70)

Taped video of Bill Mercer approaching Devastation Inc. last week and asking them about their deal with the Four Horsemen, but Skandor Akbar pushes him away and tells Mercer not to put his nose in their business! (80)

Kerry von Erich def. Terry Gordy by pinfall in 13:06 with a superplex (82)

Postmatch Kerry can't even celebrate, as Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin come down to attack him and Gordy joins too! Kevin tries to make the save, but it's still 3 vs. 2! The Freebirds grab a chair and want to finish their opponents, but finally Buddy Roberts comes down and the Birds leave! Kerry stands up and pushes Roberts, asking him why it took him so long to save them if he was in the arena, but Kevin restrains Kerry and Roberts just walks away without saying a thing! (90)

Show notes

- Gordy vs. Kerry didn't sell as many tickets as I hoped, but it was a good main event and the crowd was also really into the final segment, playing on the story of Roberts teaming with the von Erichs after a year of being at war with them

- Barry Windham is getting a contract after this, he was absolutely great and had a great match with Flair. Both road agent Frank Dusek and Flair himself told me how impressed they were with Windham

- The opener was so good that Gary Hart's announcement seemed flat, despite everybody in it performing well

- Mr. X was off is his match against Tommy Rich and he better change that, because the storyline has been teased for months and is finally evolving
