Danish Grand Prix, Copenhagen, Denmark (Week 6: 1963) Weather: Sunny Realistically, Stokely, B. Hancock, Kujiro, Fehrvar, Keikel, and Vicci all have a chance at the driver's championship. I'll keep posted as I go through the race. Lap 3: Gustafson caps off a horrible year with yet another crash. Nobody to blame but himself this time. He takes out Halley with him, which is great news for Motorsport Vienna. Lap 5: Vicci crashes out of the running for the title, taking poor Attila with him. Vienna vs GM seems to come down to B. Hancock vs Stokely. Hancock is in last, Stokely leads the race. 15 laps to go. Lap 10: Kujiro spins out again. With a more reliable car, this kid is going places. As things stand, Stokely and GM will do the double. Halfway through. Lap 13: M. Hancock crashes once more. Mustang is STRUGGLING this season. Lap 15: OH NO! Stokely crashed out! Hancock needs just 1 point to win the constructor title but he's in 9th place! Audi sit 1st and 3rd, surely not a repeat, right? Lap 18: Audi sit 1st and 2nd! Hancock still 9th! Lap 19: Savic crashed! Hancock is 8th, breaking the tie with GM, but can Audi scoop past them?

Insane end to the season, as a late, late wreck allows Bart Hancock the single point he needed to claim the Constructors Championship for Vienna, and despite him wrecking, Stokely managed to hold off all challengers to win the Driver's Championship. Another series of "almost" for Audi, and Keikel should bitterly remember the points lost earlier this season for causing a wreck. Driver's Championship:

1963 Season Review A legendary season with a very odd final race in Copenhagen (replacing the cancelled Brussels GP) results in Vienna winning as a constructor and GM's Eduard Stokely taking the Driver's championship home.Team | Driver 1 | Driver 2 | 1963 Finish | Livery | GM | Eduard Stokely | Dan Halley | 1st | Blue and Black | Motorsport Vienna | Johann Daan | Bart Hancock | 2nd | Blue and White | Audi | Peter Keikel | Hans Morell | 3rd | Black, White, and Red | Carreras Galas
| Mac Duquese
| Bruno Da Silva
| 4th
| Orange and Red | Magyar Népi Versenyzőklub (Hungarian People's Racing Club) (MNV)

| Boros Attila
| 5th
| Green, White, and Red | Mustang | Giancarlo Vicci | Tim Donst | 6th | Green and Black | Isuzu | Seki Kujiro | Yuji Makoto | N/A | White and Red |
Less changes than last year! After Vienna told Vicci that he would be the "B" car this year, to Bart Hancock, he stormed out into Mustang's waiting arms. They, in turn, promoted Donst to main driver and paired him with Vicci. As part of his contract termination, Martin Hancock holds sole rights to the sky blue paint, and he'll compete in his own car under those colors. Isuzu signed incredible youngster Seki Kujiro and veteran Yuji Makoto to launch their inaugural season. Vienna replaced Vicci with former Audi man Daan.Brakes remain standardized this year. There are no rule changes, but there will be an increase to 18 drivers. Only the top 8 finishers will be awarded points. Portugese Grand Prix, Faro, Portugal (Week 1: 1964) Weather: Sunny Welcome to sunny Faro, Portugal, for the second running of the Portugese Grand Prix. Last year, we kicked off the season with Peter Keikel winning the race for Audi. 18 cars and 7 teams line up for a chance at glory, as we kick off the 1964 season. Lap 1: Galas suffer a quick blow, as Duquese is unable to get his car going in time for the race. Lap 2: A bad crash and we lose 3 cars. Halley, Savic, and Morell are all out! Lap 3: Losing 5 cars in 3 laps is not how anyone hoped the season would start. F1 newcomer and Japanese racing champion Yuji Makoto overcorrects a slide and hits a barrier. Lap 6: Only 12 cars remain, as Bruno Da Silva loses control and Galas is out for the day. Lap 8: Martin Hancock crashes out of his first race as a privateer. Tough luck, man. Lap 9: Faro is turning into a vehicular massacre, as Attila crashes into Gustafson and they both are done for the day. Half the cars are done. Lap 13: Today will certainly be talked about all season, as Daan and B. Hancock collide, maybe caused by loose debris. Lap 14: I barely finish writing that bit of the report as I notice defending Drivers Champion Stokely storming away from a smoking car. Lap 20: Vicci and Fehrvar collide while jockeying for points, and both end up not crossing the line. Both are classified, as they completed more than 90% of the race.

*crashed, but classified as the driver finished at least 90% of the winner's distance The insane race, where 14/18 cars crashed, means that the season is off to a truly wild start. Who knows where the story plays out. One thing is sure, that Isuzu car is FAST. Driver's Championship:

Spanish Grand Prix, Madrid, Spain (Week 2: 1964) Weather: Sunny Lovely weather on the downtown Madrid track has brought plenty of spectators. Let's hope they get to see more than 4 cars finish today! Lap 1: Last race's winner Kujiro stalls out right away. The door is wide open for anyone now! Lap 2: It must have been a problem with the Isuzu engine, as Makoto can barely get going. Lap 8: Martin Hancock crashes out in lap 8 of back-to-back races. Lap 11: Vicci hits Donst and both are done for the day. Lap 13: More crashes than mechanical issues today. Attila takes out privateer Savic.

Catalan Grand Prix, Barcelona, Spain (Week 3: 1964) Weather: Rainy A rainy day in Barcelona as the teams get ready for a nice little race. Zoltan Fehrvar won last year, representing the communist-sponsored MNV. Lap 2: Freelancer Savic has a mishap and is forced out of the race. Lap 5: Stokely and B. Hancock crash, sliding in the rain. Lap 7: Fehrvar crashes again. Lap 9: Johann Daan experiences a small fire, but the rain helps fight it before he can be hurt. Lap 12: A bad slide in the rain eliminates D. Halley. He clips Vicci, who's done, and Kujiro. Lap 13: Kujiro has taken too much damage, his car can't continue. Lap 14: M. Duquese retires with engine trouble. Lap 16: A blown tire sends Dino Moore crashing out. Lap 20: Makoto spins out, but will still be classified.

French Grand Prix, Lyon, France (Week 4: 1964) Weather: Cloudy An overcast day in Lyon doesn't threaten rain, but surely nobody is getting a tan today. Last time on on this track in 1962, Giancarlo Vicci picked up his sole career win, though he was working for Vienna then, not current employers Mustang. Lap 2: Savic causes a massive crash and takes out Makoto, Daan, and M. Hancock, as well as himself. Lap 3: Debris from the big crash also takes out Attila. Lap 6: Vicci's Mustang gearbox locks up, luckily he ends up in some sand. Lap 8: Dino Moore misjudges a turn and ends up with irreparable damage. Lap 11: Gustafson, the last privateer, spins out.

God damn Da Silva suddenly on FIRE! Isuzu look like the team that is really fast but also tries to kill you every race so you don’t finish often. Maybe one day Savic will get points, maybe not though.
