WWE No Mercy October 8, 2006 RBC Center Raleigh, NC SMACKDOWN Exclusive Event
*Paul London & Brian Kendrick d. William Regal & Dave Taylor by Disqualification [Regal & Taylor Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles] The former WWE Tag Team Champions in London & Kendrick had finally been granted a match against Regal and Taylor for those same belts. The technical Brits controlled the pace of the match, isolating London and using underhanded tactics to distract the referee to prevent Kendrick from tagging in. Brian finally got a hot tag into London and cleaned house, seemingly putting his team in position to regain the tag titles after hitting Dave Taylor with Sliced Bread #2. However Regal broke out his Power of the Punch, using brass knuckles to KO Kendrick and then London, resulting in a DQ loss but allowing the King's Court to keep the tag team titles.
*Montel Vontavious Porter d. Charlie Haas by Pinfall In a standard match, MVP defeated Charlie Haas via Pinfall with his Playmaker finisher.
*Gregory Helms d. Billy Kidman w/The Miz by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Cruiserweight Title The feud between Gregory Helms and The Miz over the Cruiserweight Title had morphed into a feud between Billy Kidman and Gregory Helms over the same, after Helms seemingly put The Miz on the shelf by breaking his arm. Kidman took his mentor's place in the title match at No Mercy, and seemed to have regained some of his old form, nearly pinning Helms after a spinebuster. However, when the ref was temporarily knocked down, Miz attacked Kidman from behind with his cast, KO'ing his mentor and joining forces with Helms. Helms then hit the Shining Wizard on a prone Kidman to pick up the win and retain the title.
*The Undertaker d. Mark Henry by Pinfall With No Mercy being Batista's final opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship, a new #1 contender was set to be crowned, with King Booker's "Knight of the Round" Mark Henry challenging The Undertaker for the right. Henry's pure strength was hard for the Dead Man to contend with, and when The Undertaker tried to slam Henry, the World's Strongest Man fell on the Phenom, nearly scoring the upset. However The Undertaker was able to power out a victory after Mark Henry climbed to the middle turnbuckle, nailing the Deadman with punches. Undertaker got a burst of strength and lifted the 400 pounder up in the air for the Last Ride to get the pin and earn a future World Title Shot.
*Mr. Kennedy d. Bobby Lashley & Finlay by Pinfall to Win the United States Title After regaining the United States Title from Mark Henry at Summerslam, Bobby Lashley entered a feud with the Irishman Finlay, as well as his old nemesis Mr. Kennedy, both of whom were looking to score their first gold in the WWE at Lashley's expense. Lashley managed to fend off both challengers in this triple threat match, at least until a distraction from the Lil' Bastard Hornswoggle allowed Finlay a chance to take control of the match. Finlay and Kennedy fought it out briefly before Lashley reinserted himself into the fray, hitting a spear on Mr. Kennedy. Lashley then worked over Finlay and set him up for the Dominator, hitting the move on the Irishman. Unfortunately Kennedy snuck from behind with Finlay's shellaileigh and KO'ed Lashley from behind, before pinning Finlay to pick up the win and take the United States Title.
*Chavo Guerrero d. Chris Benoit by Pinfall in a No Holds Barred Match After Chris Benoit had put Rey Mysterio on the shelf at Summerslam (in kayfabe, in reality it was so Rey could have knee surgery), he turned his attention to his former tag team partner in Chavo Guerrero. As Benoit continued to try and purge all memory of Eddie out of his system, Chavo and Eddie's widow Vickie tried to reason with him, leading to Benoit snapping and attempting to lock Vickie in the Crossface briefly before Chavo was able to make the save. This led to a No Holds Barred match between the younger Guerrero and the Rabid Wolverine. Benoit controlled much of the match, and looked to finish off Chavo after placing a steel chair over his head and going to the top rope for his Diving Headbutt Signature Move. However, Benoit was distracted when Rey Mysterio came running down to distract him. Chavo then came too and caught Benoit on the top, hitting a Tornado DDT onto the steel chair before following up with a Frogsplash for the victory.
*Batista d. King Booker w/Queen Sharmell by Pinfall to Win the World Heavyweight Championship After winning via countout at Summerslam, Batista was contractually unable to gain another shot at World Heavyweight Champion King Booker, unless he went through a series of trials put upon him by the King. These included winning an Arm Wrestling contest against Mark Henry, defeating Regal and Taylor in a Handicap Match, and then winning a gauntlet match against all four members of the King's Court in a single night. Upon achieving these goals, Smackdown GM Theodore Long made the match between Batista and Booker, with the caveat that it would be Batista's final shot at the title as well as the stipulation that if Booker were counted out or disqualified, he would lose the title. Similar to their Summerslam encounter, Batista and Booker were evenly matched, with the King taking advantage of Sharmell hitting Batista with the Royal Scepter behind the referee's back to get a near two count. Batista battled back though and eventually countered an attempted Book End with a Batista Bomb to pick up the win and regain the World Heavyweight Title.
*King Booker w/Queen Sharmell d. Batista by Pinfall in a Money in the Bank Cash-In to Win the World Heavyweight Championship As Batista celebrated though, he was attacked from behind by the entire King's Court. As Henry and Taylor laid out the new champion, Regal came from the back bringing the Money in the Bank briefcase that Booker had won at Wrestlemania 22 and never cashed in. Regal cashed in the contract for the King, forcing the referee to order a rematch for the title right then and there, with Batista having been beaten senseless by Henry and Taylor. As soon as the bell rang, Booker covered the fallen Animal, regaining the title just a few minutes after losing. As Booker celebrated his "hard earned" victory, Batista came to, staring up in frustration at being outflanked by the King again to close the show.

WWE Cyber Sunday November 5, 2006 US Bank Arena Cincinnati, OH RAW Exclusive Event
*Johnny Nitro d. Joey Mercury in a Tables Match (Fans Could Vote on This being a Chairs Match, a Tables Match, or a Coal Miner's Glove Match) The concept of Cyber Sunday, envisioned by Vince McMahon after a singular fan vote to determine the new #1 contender for the WWE Title, saw fans vote on WWE.com to determine the stipulations for certain matches. This opening match was elected to be a Tables match, where the only way to win was to put your opponent through a table. Nitro and Mercury had exploded their partnership after repeated losses in recent weeks, leading to this one on one match. In a high flying spectacle, Nitro was able to defeat Mercury by hitting a split-legged moonsault through a table, gaining a leg up on his old partner.
*Carlito & "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan w/Ric Flair d. Garrison Cade & Trevor Murdoch by Pinfall (Fans Could Vote for Carlito's Tag Partner as either Dusty Rhodes, Sgt. Slaughter, or Hacksaw Jim Duggan) Following yet another loss by former IC Champion Carlito, the despondant Cool Caribbean had surprisingly been taken under the wing of the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Under his tutelage, Carlito had seen an immediate upswing in his fortunes, as he scored back to back wins over Garrison Cade and Trevor Murdoch on episodes of Raw. This led to a tag match being made for Cyber Sunday. The fan's choice was initially set to be who the Special Guest Referee for the match would be, but instead changed to be Carlito's replacement partner after Flair was injured in an attack by Cade and Murdoch on the go home episode of Raw, with fans choosing Hacksaw Jim Duggan to be Flair's replacement. The All-American easily threw his weight around with Cade and Murdoch before the former tag champion's underhanded ways isolated him from Carlito. Once Carlito made the hot tag though, he was able to dominate the match and eventually pinned Cade after hitting him with the Backstabber to pick up the win.
*Ashley Massaro d. Candace Michelle in an Evening Gown Match to Retain the Divas Title (Fans Could Vote on an Evening Gown Match, a Playboy Pillow Fight, or a S&M Strap Match) Following Trish Stratus' retirement as Divas Champion, a Diva's Battle Royal was held on Raw to crown a new champion, which to the shock of many was won by Ashley Massaro. Ashley entered a feud with fellow Diva Candace Michelle shortly thereafter, with Candace referring to Ashley as "rocker chick Barbie" and saying that a woman of class was needed to represent the WWE. Fan's voted for an Evening Gown match, which saw the surprising champion continue her brief run of dominance in the division, as she stripped off the gown from Candace with little difficulty. As Ashley celebrated (by giving fans a strip show of her own) though, she was attacked by Melina and Victoria, who both left the champion lying in the middle of the ring.
*Kane d. Sylvester Terkay & Elijah Burke in a Handicap Ambulance Match (Fans Could Vote on an Inferno Match, a Casket Match, or an Ambulance Match) Following his victory over the Big Red Machine Kane at Unforgiven, Sylvester Terkay was hyped as unstoppable by his corner/hype man Elijah Burke. Kane however wasn't done with the former MMA fighter, as he demanded a rematch with Terkay at Cyber Sunday. Burke initially refused the request, saying Kane had his title shot and wouldn't receive another one. However Kane pointed out he didn't care about the Title, and just wanted to hurt Terkay. A handicap match was eventually agreed to, with fans overwhelmingly voting for the match to be made an Ambulance Match, where the only way to win was to stuff your opponent (or in the case of Kane, his opponents) in the back of an ambulance and shut the door. Despite the 2 on 1 advantage, Kane was able to control much of the contest, eventually hitting Terkay with a Tombstone on the outside before taking his time dissecting Burke. Eventually Kane hit a chokeslam on the Hype Man and then stuffed both him and Terkay in the back of the waiting Ambulance to get a measure of revenge on them.
*Shelton Benjamin d. Matt Hardy in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match (Fans Could Vote on This Being a Submission Match, a 2 out of 3 Falls, or a Lumberjack Match) The initial fan vote that inspired the concept of Cyber Sunday saw Shelton Benjamin and Matt Hardy finish number two and three respectively in the contest to challenge John Cena for the WWE title, leading to this match for a proverbial spot in the pecking order. Fans voted on this match being a 2 out of 3 Falls match. After shaking hands at the start of the match, Benjamin scored the first fall within the first 5 minutes, hitting his T-Bone Suplex. However over the next several minutes, Benjamin started to get frustrated as he couldn't put Hardy away. A sudden Side Effect from Matt Hardy allowed him to even the score, leaving Benjamin desperate. In the end, the Gold Standard scored with a roll up and used the ropes for extra leverage to score the second fall and cheat to win an otherwise cleanly contested match.
*John Cena d. Jeff Hardy by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship (Hardy Was Chosen by Fan Vote as Cena's opponent) Raw GM Shane McMahon as a nod to "the power of the people", opened a fan vote on WWE.com for all current Raw superstars as to who would challenge John Cena for the WWE Title at this event (later renamed Cyber Sunday once Vince McMahon took the whole concept and applied it to the whole show). Jeff Hardy overwhelmingly won the support of the fans, giving him his first real opportunity at the WWE Title. Hardy availed himself well against John Cena, and nearly pulled out the upset on several occasions. Cena however persevered and scored the pinfall win with an Avalanche FU to Hardy, as the daredevil was setting up for the Swanton Bomb.
*Rated-RKO (Edge & Randy Orton] w/Lita d. D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels & Triple H) by Pinfall with Eric Bischoff as the Special Guest Referee (Fans Could Vote Between Theodore Long, Shane McMahon or Bischoff) At Unforgiven, Randy Orton had surprised everyone by interjecting himself in the Hell in a Cell Handicap Match between the McMahons and DX, costing HBK and Triple H the match. The following night on Raw, Orton entered into an alliance of convenience with the Rated-R superstar Edge, leading to this tag match. Fans could vote on who the special guest referee would be, choosing from Smackdown GM Theodore Long, Shane McMahon or former Raw GM Eric Bischoff, with Bischoff winning the fan voting. Surprisingly Bischoff called the match down the middle, frustrating Edge and Orton who expected an advantage in the officiating. However a distraction from Lita allowed Bischoff to miss an obvious pin on Edge after hitting him with Sweet Chin Music. As Michels protested the count, Bischoff began arguing with Triple H on the outside, which allowed Orton to come in and hit HBK with a lead pipe, knocking him out. Orton then took out The Game while Edge crawled over for the cover, picking up the tainted win over DX. Orton and Edge then celebrated on their way out as DX looked on in frustration, before they took said frustrations out on Bischoff, hitting him with Sweet Chin Music followed by a Pedigree to close the show.
Off-Camera Title Changes: November 6: Jeff Hardy d. Sylvester Terkay to Win the Intercontinental Title November 10: Chavo Guerrero d. Gregory Helms to Win the Cruiserweight Title November 20: Edge & Randy Orton d. The Highlanders to Win the World Tag Team Titles

*Team Batista [Batista, The Undertaker, Finlay, Paul London & Brian Kendrick] d. The King's Court [Mark Henry, William Regal, Dave Taylor, Montel Vontavious Porter & Kevin Thorn] w/Queen Sharmell in a Survivor Series Match After Batista was screwed out of the World Heavyweight Championship again by King Booker's Money in the Bank cash-in at No Mercy, the King swore again that Batista wouldn't get another title shot. However, the King's antics were interrupted by Smackdown GM Theodore Long, who said that King Booker would no longer dictate who he defended the title against or not. Though The Undertaker had earned a future title shot, he stepped aside for Batista to earn another shot. Batista's Survivor Series team would have to defeat The King's Court in order to achieve this title shot for The Animal. - The Undertaker d. Dave Taylor by Pinfall - William Regal d. A brutal match between the two followed, which ended when Rey refused to stop fighting Benoit, telling him he wasn't going to add to his continuing pain. Benoit demanded Rey keep fighting, but eventually succumbed to his own grief, giving up the ghost and then embracing Rey in their shared grief over Eddie's death one year earlier.

*Batista d. King Booker w/Queen Sharmell by Pinfall to Win the World Heavyweight Championship Having earned his shot by defeating the King's Court earlier in the night, the exhausted Animal Batista would seemingly be at a disadvantage against the fresher champion. And in the beginning it was that way, as Booker came from behind and attacked The Animal as he made his entrance. However the king couldn't put away the challenger, leading to Batista making a comeback and hitting a spinebuster. Sharmell provided a distraction as the Knight of the Round, Mark Henry attacked Batista behind the ref's back. Booker attempted to use the title belt on The Animal, but Batista ducked, causing Booker to hit Henry instead. Batista then hit Booker with the Batista Bomb to pick up the win and regain the World Title, this time for good.
*John Cena d. Hulk Hogan by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship Inside Madison Square Garden, a battle of the generations took place as Hulk Hogan challenged John Cena for the WWE Title. Cena admitted that he was the biggest Hulkamaniac in his class, but said that he would go all out to defend his title. Hogan admitted that he didn't have many matches left, and if his final one was against the best in the business inside of the most famous arena in the world, for the most prestigious title in wrestling, then he could live with that. Amidst the nostalgia tinged MSG crowd, Hogan had the crowd behind him solidly, and showcased a good amount of offense against Cena. Cena took control in the middle of the match, hitting many of his showcase moves including a 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Hogan then Hulked up, seemingly ready to do the impossible and beat Cena, hitting his big boot and then his leg drop, but only getting a two count out of it. Hogan tried another leg drop, but Cena was able to move out of the way. He then scooped up Hogan and hit a second FU on the Hulkster before picking up the win. After the match, Hogan raised the hand of Cena and posed one last time for the MSG crowd as the show went off the air.

ECW December to Dismember December 2, 2006 State Farm Show Arena Harrisburg, PA ECW Exclusive Event
*Hardcore Holly d. Kid Kash by Pinfall In a standard match, Hardcore Holly made his ECW debut by defeating former Cruiserweight Champion Kid Kash with the Alabama Slam.
*Cryme Tyme [JTG & Shad Gaspard] d. The FBI [Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke], The Blue World Order [Stevie Richards & Nova] & The Mexicools [Super Crazy & Psychosis] by Pinfall to Retain the ECW World Tag Team Titles Cryme Tyme were placed in a Four Corners match to defend their ECW World Tag Team Titles aginst the three other top tag teams in ECW. Unlike other Fatal Fourway matches, this was conducted via Elimination Rules, with the Mexicools being the first team to be eliminated by The FBI after Guido hit a top rope crossbody on Super Crazy. Cryme Tyme then eliminated the Blue World Order when Shad hit a chokeslam on Nova to eliminate him. Cryme Tyme completed their title defense with JTG hitting a crossbody off the shoulders of Shad on Tony Mamaluke for the win.
*CM Punk d. Matt Striker by Submission in a "Striker's Rules" Match Former teacher turned wrestler Matt Striker had entered ECW in order to bring "order to chaos", ordering that his matches take place under "Striker's Rules" which were basically normal match rules with disqualifications and the like. CM Punk (who was still undefeated in singles competition) took him up on this offer for a match at December to Dismember. Punk then proceeded to outwrestle Striker, which left him angered. Striker attempted to cheat by using a chalkboard as a weapon, but Punk countered him and locked him in the Anaconda Vise to score the Submission victory. After the match though, Punk was attacked by the debuting Marcus Cor Von, who seemingly had an alliance with Striker.
*Sim Snuka d. Kenny Kruise by Pinfall in a Loser Leaves ECW Match Former tag team partners Sim Snuka and Kenny Kruise faced one another, with the loser being forced to leave ECW. True to the roots of his father, Sim Snuka defeated Kruise by using the Superfly Leap from the top rope, allowing his ECW career to continue.
*Tommy Dreamer d. The Sandman and Sabu by Pinfall Three ECW originals were slated to try and become the #1 contender to the ECW World Championship. All former ECW champions, the match between the three veterans proved to be a bloody and violent affair, with Tommy Dreamer eventually winning in a bit of an upset after hitting Sandman with a DDT on a Steel Chair.
*Umaga w/Tazz d. Rob Van Dam by Pinfall to Win the ECW World Heavyweight Title Tazz had led the undefeated Umaga to months of destruction since ECW's return in June. Following his success in the special Extreme Survivor Series match in November, Umaga was granted a shot at the ECW title at this PPV one week later. RVD fared better than most other competitors against the Samoan Savage, nearly getting the pinfall with the 5 Star Frogsplash until Tazz distracted the referee. This bought Umaga the time he needed to recover and eventually hit the Samoan Spike for the victory and to become the new ECW champion.

WWE Armageddon December 17, 2006 Richmond Coliseum Richmond, VA SMACKDOWN Exclusive Event
*Chavo Guerrero d. Gregory Helms w/The Miz by Pinfall to Retain the Cruiserweight Title Since putting his problems with Chris Benoit behind him, Chavo Guerrero had returned to championship glory by defeating Gregory Helms and becoming the new Cruiserweight Champion. A title rematch was set for Armageddon, with Helms attempting to use his tag partner The Miz to defeat the younger Guerrero and regain his title. At the end of a fast paced match, Miz's interference wound up backfiring on Helms, as he inadvertantly hit him with the cruiserweight title belt as opposed to Chavo when the referee was down. Chavo then disposed of The Miz and proceeded to finish off Helms with the Frogsplash to retain the title.
*Montel Vontavious Porter d. Chris Benoit by Pinfall The week after Survivor Series, MVP had issued an open challenge to anyone in the Smackdown Locker Room to step up and try and take him out, with the challenge being answered by Chris Benoit. Benoit had said he was done with the issues he had with Rey Mysterio, leading to him refocusing his efforts to regain championship gold in the WWE. In that Smackdown, Benoit's focus allowed him to beat MVP via submission, the first person to do so. MVP determined that he wouldn't stand for this insult, demanding a rematch at Armageddon. The rematch was more competitive than their initial match, but Benoit seemingly was on the verge of winning again after hitting his Hat Trick of German Suplexes. Unfortunately the third suplex inadvertantly caught the ref, knocking him to his knees. As Benoit checked on the ref, MVP grabbed his gold chain and wrapped it around his fist, before KO'ing Benoit with the shot. MVP then pinned the Wolverine and scored the revenge victory.
*Paul London & Brian Kendrick d. William Regal & Dave Taylor by Pinfall in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match to Win the WWE Tag Team Titles The team of London and Kendrick received a final shot at the King's Court for the WWE Tag Team Titles, though it would be on the Brit's terms as a 2 out of 3 Falls match. The first fall went to the team of Regal and Taylor, as a distraction from Taylor allowed Regal to KO London with the Power of the Punch to score the pinfall, and only timely intervention from Kendrick stopped Regal from scoring a second fall just as quickly. Taylor and Regal then tried everything to put away Paul London, only to be caught with a Northern Lights Suplex out of nowhere that evened the match at one fall a piece. In the third and decisive fall, Kendrick finally got the hot tag and cleaned house of the King's Court, and an attempt to use the Brass Knuckles again by Regal was caught by the referee, leading to a distraction that allowed Kendrick to hit a high top rope cross body on him for the win and to regain the tag team titles.
*Mr. Kennedy d. The Boogeyman by Disqualification to Retain the United States Title Mr. Kennedy had originally been scheduled to defend the United States Title against Finlay, but a "freak accident" sustained by the Irishman on the Go Home episode of Smackdown (in reality a backstage beatdown caused by Kennedy himself) had led to Finaly not being able to medically compete for the night. Rather than not have an opponent, as Kennedy had assumed, Smackdown General Manager made a new last minute match, forcing Kennedy to defend the United States title against The Boogeyman. The match was short, with Kennedy's attempts to actually wrestle the strange and bizarre creature met with the Boogeyman's usual antics. A fist full of worms led to the referee disqualifying the Boogeyman, allowing Kennedy to retain his title, but in the end the Loudmouth had to endure a Worm Bath from the Boogeyman, much to his disgust.
*Queen Sharmell & Krystal Marshall Wrestled to a No Contest in a "Santa's Little Helper" Match Queen Sharmell had been engaged in a mini-feud with Smackdown backstage interviewer Krystal Marshall over the self-professed title of "First Lady of Smackdown." Her continued catty remarks had led to Marshall eventually challenging Sharmell to a match at Armageddon. The match would be a variation of an Evening Gown Match, though with both ladies wearing a Christmas themed get up it would be called a "Santa's Little Helper" Match. The special guest referee was Val Venis, but this proved to be irrelevant, as both ladies simply engaged in a short wrestling match followed by a cat fight, in which both of their Christmas themed evening gowns were torn off to reveal christmas themed lingerie. Val declared the match a No Contest and simply ruled himself the winner.
*King Booker d. The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio & Bobby Lashley by Pinfall The Smackdown after Survivor Series saw The Undertaker formally challenge Batista for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. This challenge, however, was interrupted by the former champion King Booker, who insisted on receiving his guaranteed title match first. Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long ordered a #1 contenders battle royal, which was won by Mark Henry, leading to Booker and The Undertaker being put into a Fatal Fourway at Armageddon for a title shot at the Royal Rumble. Rey Mysterio and Bobby Lashley would each win a spot in the match in subsequent weeks. The contest saw all four men dominate at various points, but the end came with a standoff between The Undertaker and Lashley after Booker had seemingly been taken out by a springboard plancha from Mysterio. The two behemoths locked horns, with the younger Lashley initially getting the advantage, only for the Undertaker to hit a Last Ride on the former US Champion. Before he could go for the cover, though, Undertaker was intercepted by Booker, who threw him out of the ring and stole the cover to pick up the victory.
*Batista d. Mark Henry by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship The Knight of the Round, Mark Henry, had won a #1 contenders Battle Royal on an episode of Smackdown to earn a title shot at The Animal Batista, much to the consternation of King Booker and Queen Sharmell. The World's Strongest Man actually dominated the title match for a while, even as King Booker came back down to ringside to provide "moral support." This support however didn't stop Batista from turning the tide, hitting a huge spinebuster on the World's Strongest Man and signaling for a Batista Bomb. Booker then distracted the referee, slipping his royal scepter into the ring ostensibly for Henry to use on The Animal. Batista however grabbed Booker at ringside, as Henry grabbed the scepter. Mark swung with the scepter towards the Animal, but Batista moved, causing Henry to hit Booker instead. Batista then kicked away the scepter and managed to lift the 400 pounder for the huge power bomb, picking up the win and retaining the title.

WWE New Year's Revolution January 7, 2007 Kemper Memorial Arena Kansas City, MO RAW Exclusive Event
*Carlito w/Ric Flair d. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters by Pinfall The Caribbean Superstar Carlito had continued his association with the "Dirtiest Player in the Game", Nature Boy Ric Flair, which had seemingly revitalized his career in recent months. His old ally, Chris Masters, had been taken aback by the change in Carlito, and tried to convince him to turn on Flair, even attacking the Nature Boy when Carlito was late getting to Raw to take him out of the equation. Carlito took umbridge at this and challenged The Masterpiece to a match at New Year's Revolution. Carlito held the advantage in the early going, but a mistimed splash from the top allowed Masters to take control. In the end though, Carlito undertook a page straight out of the Flair playbook. He feigned a knee injury, causing the referee to look him over while he kept Masters at bay. Flair then reached in from the outside and lowblowed The Masterpiece. Carlito then jumped into action and hit a DDT on Masters before sinching in a pin and picking up the victory.
*Garrison Cade & Trevor Murdoch d. The Highlanders [Robbie & Rory MacAllister] & Viscera & Elijah Burke by Pinfall Elijah Burke was initially set to team with his client, Sylvester Terkay, but Viscera replaced him at the last minute due to "travel issues" as revealed on the broadcast (in reality it was due to Terkay requesting and receiving his release from the company). This triple threat match was for posturing in the Tag Team Title ranks, and Cade and Murdoch pulled off the victory over the MacAllister's after Trevor hit the Tumbleweed on Rory.
*The Big Show d. Matt Hardy by Pinfall In recent weeks a rift had formed between The Big Show and his benefactors the McMahons, as failures by The Big Show had become more numerous. Big Show went on a tear as a result in order to reestablish his dominance in the WWE, leading to a match with Matt Hardy. While the former IC Champion put up a noble fight against The Giant, Big Show was able to seize victory with a Chokeslam following a KO shot to Hardy from the Right Hand of Doom.
*Jeff Hardy d. Johnny Nitro w/Melina by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title With the tag team of MNM having disbanded, Johnny Nitro sought individual gold for himself, as well as a means of impressing Melina, who was still acting as his valet for the time being. Nitro set his sights on Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy, having pinned the champion in a six man tag team match on Raw. The match was a surprisingly high flying affair, as Nitro was able to match the daredevil antics of the IC Champion. In the end though, Hardy was able to counter an attempted neckbreaker into a modified version of the Twist of Fate before hitting the Swanton Bomb to retain the title.
*Jillian Hall d. Ashley Massaro by Pinfall to Win the Divas Title Divas Champion Ashley Massaro had recently entered a feud with Jillian Hall, who had taken up the gimmick of a would-be pop singer (despite the fact that she couldn't carry a tune in a bucket). Massaro interrupted one of Hall's "concerts" on Raw, leading to Hall attacking the champion with her microphonem leading to this match. Massaro controlled the match thoughout, leaving Hall down and out and ready to be hit with the Starstruck. However, an errant elbow to the referee left the champ unable to get the three count. It was then that Candace Michelle came out and attacked Massaro, leaving her lying after KO'ing her with the Divas Title belt. Hall then crawled over and covered the champion, picking up the win and the upset to become Divas Champion.
*John Cena d. Shelton Benjamin by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship Former WWE Champion Shelton Benjamin had turned heel in recent months, adopting the moniker of "The Gold Standard" in WWE. He won a six pack challenge on Raw (also involving DX, Rated RKO and The Big Show) in order to earn a title shot at John Cena to try and regain the WWE Championship. Benjamin quickly showed his nastier side, using every underhanded tactic to try and score a win over the Champ. But Cena persevered yet again and hit Benjamin with an FU after Benjamin missed a springboard clothesline, picking up another win and another successful title defense.
*D-Generation X [Shawn Michaels & Triple H] d. Rated-RKO [Randy Orton & Edge] w/Lita by Disqualification [Rated RKO Retain the World Tag Team Titles] The feud between D-Generation X and Rated-RKO had continued even past Survivor Series, with both teams coming up short for the individual members in a six pack challenge on Raw to crown a new #1 contender for the WWE Title. A final confrontation was set between the two teams for New Year's Revolution, with the World Tag Team Titles on the line as a result. Unfortunately the match would end in controversy and tragedy, as Triple H tore a quadricep muscle mid match. Edge would then call an audible and hit Michaels with a low blow, ending the match and giving DX the win but keeping the titles with Edge and Orton.

ECW Guilty as Charged January 27, 2007 Asbury Park Convention Hall Asbury Park, NJ ECW Exclusive Event
*Nova w/The Blue Meanie d. Sim Snuka by Pinfall In the opening match of the special live event, Nova of the Blue World Order took on Sim Snuka. While the former tag champion availed himself well, the offensive innovator was able to move out of the way when Snuka attempted a Superfly splash from the top rope, before finishing off the second generation star with the Novacaine.
*Matt Striker & Marcus Cor Von d. Cryme Tyme [JTG & Shad Gaspard] by Pinfall to Retain the ECW World Tag Team Titles Teacher turned wrestler Matt Striker had debuted a new tag team partner in December in the form of the Alpha Male Marcus Cor Von. The two had immediately formed an effective tandem, and they had defeated Cryme Tyme for the ECW World Tag Team Titles on an episode of ECW on SciFi leading into Guilty as Charged. The rematch saw much more of the same, as Cor Von dominated the former champions whenever he was in the ring, allowing Striker to pick his spots. Shad and JTG did manage a comeback, with Shad hitting a Uranagi Slam on Striker that nearly regained them the belts, but in the end the Alpha Male hit a hige Pounce on both members of Cryme Tyme to pick up the win and retain the title.
*Cody Rhodes w/Dusty Rhodes d. Bobby Eaton by Pinfall The son of the legendary American Dream Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes was making his ECW debut, taking on veteran tag wrestler Bobby Eaton (in what was subsequently Eaton's only appearance for a WWE/ECW promoted event). The veteran Eaton taxed the young rookie throughout the match, only for Rhodes to pull out the victory after hitting a top rope elbow drop on Beautiful Bobby to secure the pinfall, celebrating with his father afterwards.
*CM Punk d. Sabu by Pinfall in a Barbed Wire Match For several weeks CM Punk had been fending off challenges from former ECW alums (namely Tazz, speaking on behalf of his client Umaga) that he wasn't truly "extreme" enough for ECW. This led Punk to challenge the suicidal Sabu to any kind of match the hardcore legend wanted to have. Sabu accepted the challenge, agreeing to a barbed wire match. While this match wasn't the bloodbath that ECW had previously been involved with (as the ring ropes themselves weren't replaced with barbed wire), it was still a bloody affair that saw both men busted open and bleeding profusely. CM Punk eventually picked up the win, hitting the Go 2 Sleep on Sabu for the pinfall victory.
*Umaga w/Tazz d. Tommy Dreamer w/Beulah by Pinfall to Retain the ECW World Championship The ECW original Tommy Dreamer had made it his goal since the return of ECW the previous June to win the ECW World Title one final time in his career. Unfortunately standing in his way was the undefeated Samoan Savage Umaga and his handler, Tazz. Dreamer fared better than most, attacking Umaga with a Singapore Cane before the Samoan Savage could really get his footing, but Umaga withstood everything Dreamer could throw at him. A near fall came when Dreamer hit a Death Valley Driver onto an empty trash can, getting a close two count. The end however came when Tazz distracted Dreamer by chasing Beulah around the ring, allowing Dreamer to be caught by Umaga with a Samoan Spike before being finished off with a big splash from the top rope. Umaga looked to do more damage to Dreamer and Beulah, but was chased off by CM Punk and The Sandman, with Punk staring down Umaga to close the show.

FYI, I changed the first post in this thread to make the title histories more navigable, as well as so they didn't clutter things up.
