Note: Some may be asking what happens to Chris Benoit in this world, given that we are approaching the murder/suicide incident shortly in the timeline. I stop using Benoit after Wrestlemania 23, just assume he left to seek mental health care and retired from the business after the tragedy of losing Eddie Guerrero and what that did to him emotionally. However in storyline, I will not be using Benoit for surprise Rumble appearances (the way I have with and will continue to use Owen Hart, who also survived in this timeline) nor will he be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. If he returned to wrestling, assume it was in Japan and not WWE.
In less controversial news, One Night Stand remains an ECW only event, with a new Raw exclusive show (Extreme Rules) taking place the night after on June 3. As previously stated, The Great American Bash swaps places with Night of Champions on the calendar, after which there will only be a few more ECW exclusive shows in this iteration of the brand split.ECW One Night Stand June 2, 2007 Hammerstein Ballroom New York City, NY ECW Exclusive Event
*Colt Cabana d. Ballz Mahoney by Pinfall Indie superstar Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana had made his ECW debut in recent weeks as a friend and teammate of ECW champion CM Punk. In his Streaming Event debut, he took on ECW Original Ballz Mahoney. Despite the Hardcore Chair Swinging Freak trying to use his namesake to good use, Cabana was able to avoid taking a chair shot to the head and finished off Mahoney with an Airplane Spin leading into a Cradle DDT for the win.
*Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly d. The Miz & Matt Striker by Pinfall Former WWE Tough Enough contestant The Miz had branched out from Smackdown onto the ECW brand, planning on dominating the brand as a "real" WWE superstar. Teaming with Matt Striker, the two took on another former WWE superstar in Hardcore Holly and the rookie sensation Cody Rhodes. Despite The Miz being able to get under Holly's skin and cause the veteran to make mistakes, Rhodes showed more poise than his years suggested and pinned Striker after hitting him with the Cross Rhodes.
*The Samoan Fight Club [MaTai An'aoi & Sonny Siaki] d. Rob Van Dam & Sabu by Pinfall to Retain the ECW World Tag Team Titles To the surprise of many, the rookie team of the Samoan Fight Club had beaten the veteran duo of Rob Van Dam and Sabu to capture the ECW World Tag Team Titles on an episode of ECW on SciFi. The duo of MaTai An'aoi and Sonny Siaki had gone on to dominate most other tag matches they had been in since, at least until this rematch. Sabu was taken out early and sent to the back with an apparent knee injury, but the former ECW champion of Rob Van Dam was able to persevere and nearly beat the champions Single handedly. Sabu returned from his injury and tried to make the hot tag, but wound up standing up his partner and walking out on him, leaving Van Dam open to a Super Samoan Drop from An'aoi, allowing the Fight Club to retain the titles.
*Paul Burchill w/Katie Lea Burchill d. The Sandman in a Tables Match Former WWE superstar (and self-described Pirate) Paul Burchill had adopted a far more aggressive tone and gimmick upon turning heel after Living Dangerously. Joining with his kayfabe sister Katie Lea (though without the incest that was implied in their OTL gimmick), Paul Burchill challenged any ECW alumnus to a match in the hopes of making a name for himself. The Sandman accepted the challenge, facing Burchill in a Tables Match. While the Beer-Swilling Icon put up a good fight, Burchill executed his C-4 finisher onto the Sandman and put him through a table in the process.
*CM Punk d. Marcus Cor Von w/Matt Striker by Submission to Retain the ECW World Heavyweight Title Shortly after winning the ECW title, CM Punk was accosted by a rival in the form of The Alpha Male Marcus Cor Von. Striker's protege had been the first to pin CM Punk cleanly on ECW television, and looked to continue that run of dominance. While Striker was able to aide his charge in the match, and Cor Von even hit The Pounce on Punk, the championw as able to kick out at 2 and a half and eventually lock in the Anaconda Vise, securing the submission victory and retaining the ECW title.

WWE Extreme Rules June 3, 2007 Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena Jacksonville, FL RAW Exclusive Event
*Jeff Hardy d. Lance Cade w/Trevor Murdoch by Pinfall After losing the Intercontinental Championship to Umaga the night after Backlash, Jeff Hardy had entered a brief losing streak on Raw, and was looking to refocus himself by taking on Lance Cade. The former tag team champion had been engaged in his own war of words with his partner Trevor Murdoch over recent lack of success as a team. The woes for Cade and Murdoch continued, as after a ref bump, Murdoch attempted to use a loaded cowboy boot onto Hardy, only for the former IC Champ to duck, causing Murdoch to hit Cade instead. Hardy then followed up with a Swanton for the pinfall victory.
*Santino Marella d. Shane McMahon by Pinfall in a Street Fight On an episode of Raw in April in Milan, Italy, as part of their "training" for the match with Bobby Lashley, the McMahons had picked a "random" fan from the crowd to have a match with Mr. McMahon live on television. Thanks to outside interference from Lashley, that fan was victorious, giving his name as Santino Marella. Santino then applied to be given a WWE contract, which was denied by Raw GM Shane McMahon. Santino would travel to America and appear in the audience, only to be escorted from ringside several times (and attack Shane on one occasion) before being given the chance to earn a contract by facing the Raw GM in a Street Fight at Extreme Rules. Shane controlled much of the match, taking advantage of the No Disqualification Stipulations and Hardcore paraphenlia to try and stop Marella's dream. However in the end, Shane was distracted by the Lil' Bastard Hornswoggle, who had accompanied Finlay from Smackdown. Annoyed at being included in the McMahon's shenanigans, Finlay attacked Shane with his sheleilaigh, knocking him out and allowing Santino to pin him to earn his WWE contract.
*Cryme Tyme [JTG & Shad Gaspard] d. The World's Greatest Tag Team [Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin] in a Ladder Match to Win the World Tag Team Titles The feud between the World's Greatest Tag Team and Cryme Tyme had been going on since the former ECW World Tag Team Champions had made their debut on Raw just before Wrestlemania. At every turn Haas and Benjamin had found ways to game the system to retain the World Tag Team Titles, leading to JTG and Gaspard being granted one last chance at the belts, this time in a ladder match. Cryme Tyme tried to rely on the strength of Gaspard to help them through the match, but he was taken out early by a Hi-Lo attack from the champions that seemingly hurt his knee. JTG was left to fend on his own briefly, trying desperately to take out Haas and Benjamin and keep the titles in tact. It appeared as if Haas would recapture the belts, but Shad came back into the picture, power bombing Haas off the ladder and to the outside through a waiting table. This allowed JTG to climb his way up the ladder as Gaspard hit Benjamin with a Drive By Lariat and retrieve the titles, giving Cryme Tyme the World Tag Team Titles.
*Mickie James d. Michelle McCool by Pinfall in a Lumberjill Match to Retain the Divas Title The match between Divas Champion Mickie James and Michelle McCool was a relatively easy affair, as James outwrestled McCool and eventually hit her with a Mick Kick to pick up the victory. However after the match she was attacked by an unknown Amazonian woman (later revealed to be Beth Phoenix), who hit a massive front slam on the champion and left her lying in the ring.
*"Nature Boy" Ric Flair d. Carlito in a Steel Cage Match The feud between Ric Flair and former protege Carlito reached its end as The Nature Boy challenged the Caribbean star to a Steel Cage match. Carlito vowed to end the career of the Nature Boy, targeting Flair's knee and trying to irreparably damage it by slamming it into the cage wall. However Flair was able to avoid too much damage, and targeted the same appendage on Carlito, eventually locking him in the Figure-4 Leglock and forcing him to tap out definitively.
*Bobby Lashley d. Umaga w/Vince McMahon by Pinfall in a No Disqualification Non-Title Match The feud between Bobby Lashley and Umaga (as well as the proxy feud with Vince McMahon) saw Lashley take on the Samoan Savage in a No Disqualification match, though Vince refused to allow Umaga to defend the Intercontinental Championship in the match. Umaga had devastated most individuals put in front of him, but Lashley was able to withstand the attack of the Samoan Bulldozer better than most, even surviving the Samoan Spike finisher move. Vince's attempt to get involved resulted in him eating a Spear before Lashley hit Umaga with a Dominator to pick up the victory in the non-title match.
*Randy Orton d. Shawn Michaels in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match (with John Cena as the Special Referee) to Win the WWE Championship Randy Orton had defeated John Cena on an episode of Raw in order to earn the #1 contendership for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules, with the match being made a best 2 out of 3 Falls. To change things up even more, Raw GM Shane McMahon ordered that Cena be made the Special Guest Referee for the match. Orton took the first fall from HBK, hitting a Apron DDT followed by a quick pinning combination. Orton then got cocky, taking Michaels for granted before getting caught with a Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere to give the champion the second fall. The two then were evenly matched for the deciding fall, with Orton getting a near fall with an RKO. When Cena only counted two, Orton went out to grab a chair to hit Michaels with it. Cena confiscated the chair, only for the Legend Killer to spit in Cena's face. Cena's temper then flared up and he swung for Orton, only hitting Michaels square in the face with the chair by mistake. Orton then covered Michaels and Cena was forced to reluctantly count the three to award the WWE Title to Orton. Cena could only watch as The Legend Killer celebrated his title victory to close the show.

*Kane d. Batista & The Undertaker by Pinfall Shortly after Judgment Day, The Rated R Superstar Edge had defeated Mr. Kennedy to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. With Kennedy on the shelf with a concussion, a new #1 contender for the title was set to be named. After Edge interrupted a fatal fourway challenge to try and pick his #1 contender (helping his personal entry in the match, Shannon Moore, win the match in an effort to get an easy opponent), Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long overruled the match and ordered a triple threat match between the three men Edge screwed out of the match in Kane, Batista and The Undertaker, with the winner getting a title shot later in the night. The Brothers of Destruction briefly reunited to take down The Animal before fighting amongst themselves, only for Batista to jump back in and turn the match into a back and forth. In the end, Undertaker got Batista up for a Tombstone, only for The Animal to reverse the move and hit a Spear on The Deadman. Batista then went for a Batista Bomb on his former Wrestlemania opponent, only for Undertaker to reverse that and finally hit a Tombstone on Batista. Before Undertaker could make the cover though, he was intercepted by Kane, who hit a Chokeslam on his brother and picked up the win, advancing to face Edge later in the night.
*The New Freebirds [Ray Jay Gordy & Doc Gallows] d. The Highlanders [Robbie & Rory MacAllister] by Pinfall Despite losing their chance at the WWE Tag Team Titles at Wrestlemania (and subsequently firing their manager in former Freebird Michael Hayes), The New Freebirds had managed to regroup themselves and refocus their efforts. Against The Highlanders, the Freebirds were dominant, with Ray Jay hitting a splash off the shoulders of Doc Gallows onto Robbie in order to pick up the victory.
*Nick Domino w/Cherry d. Shannon Moore by Pinfall In a standard bonus match, Nick Domino defeated Shannon Moore with a Roll of the Dice.
*Matt Hardy & Mark Henry d. Gregory Helms & King Booker w/Queen Sharmell by Pinfall to Win the WWE Tag Team Titles At the end of May the unlikely team of Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms had won the WWE Tag Team Titles together. However their partnership was seemingly doomed to failure, as the two got into a pull apart brawl on the go home edition of Smackdown. Smackdown GM Theodore Long ruled that since the team was obvious split, the tag titles were now vacant, and said that each man would have to pick a new partner to fight for the vacant belts. Helms chose former World Heavyweight Champion King Booker to be his partner, but this master stroke was quickly overlooked when Hardy came out with the World's Strongest Man (and King Booker's former associate) Mark Henry as his partner.
*Chavo Guerrero w/Vicki Guerrero d. Brian Kendrick w/Paul London by Pinfall to Retain the Cruiserweight Title Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero was set to defend his title against Paul London at The Great American Bash, but the match was changed at the last minute after London was taken out by a mystery assailant, leading to his tag partner Brian Kendrick being placed in the match instead. Kendrick and Guerrero had a highly competitive match that ended when London limped his way to ringside in an effort to keep Guerrero from cheating. However London's appearance resulted in a distraction that allowed Chavo to hit Kendrick with the Cruiserweight Title belt and pick up the victory.
*Montel Vontavious Porter d. Sgt. Slaughter by Pinfall to Retain the WWE United States Title The arrogant reign of MVP as United States Champion had continued unabated, and the braggadocious champion had recently run down several legends on an episode of Smackdown. This led WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter to step up and challenge "the maggot" to a match on Smackdown, which Sarge managed to win via submission with his devastating Cobra Clutch to the shock of many. Sarge then was given a US Title match against Porter, with the goal of recapturing his former glory. Unfortunately for Slaughter, lightning couldn't strike twice, and MVP kept up with his winning ways, fighting out of an attempted Cobra Clutch and hitting the Playmaker for the win.
*Edge w/Vicki Guerrero d. Kane by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship To the surprise of many, Edge had aligned himself with Vickie Guerrero shortly after winning the World Heavyweight Championship, becoming the new boyfriend of the self-described "Cougar" in the process. This paid some dividends to Edge, as he was now treated as "La Familia" by Chavo, and thus had an eager partner to help him in his title defenses. This carried over when Chavo attacked Kane prior to the Big Red Machine making his way to the ring for his World Title match with the Rated R Superstar, though in the end all this earned Chavo was a chokeslam for his troubles. Edge then came out and attacked Kane, gaining the jump on the Demon Incarnate and nearly winning the match with an Edgecution DDT. However Kane eventually reestablished his power base and gained the advantage, hitting a top rope clothesline on Edge. Kane looked to hit a chokeslam, when Vickie and Chavo reinserted themselves into the match. Before they could interfere though, Rey Mysterio came out and interrupted them, breaking out into a fight with Chavo. This distraction allowed Edge to drill Kane with the World Heavyweight Title Belt and then hit a Spear for the victory, escaping with his title.
Off-Camera Title Changes June 25: Candace Michelle d. Mickie James for the Divas Title June 26: The Sandman & Tommy Dreamer d. The Samoan Fight Club for the ECW World Tag Team Titles June 29: The New Freebirds d. Matt Hardy and Mark Henry for the WWE Tag Team Titles July 16: Finlay d. Umaga for the Intercontinental Title July 17: Chavo Guerrero d. *The New Freebirds [Ray Jay Gordy & Doc Gallows] d. Mark Henry & Michael P.S. Hayes by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles After the makeshift team of Matt Hardy and Mark Henry lost the WWE Tag Team Titles to the New Freebirds, the World's Strongest Man made it his goal to try and regain the titles on his own. However, interim Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero (placed in charge due to health concerns sustained by Theodore Long upon his dailliances with Krystal Marshall) ordered Henry to find a partner. He did, in the form of former Freebirds manager Michael P.S. Hayes. Though the match was a glorified handicap match, Henry dominated both Gallows and Gordy and seemingly would win the match on his own. However a double team move took out Henry at the knees, forcing Hayes to get in the ring, which the Freebirds made quick work of, hitting a Double DDT on Hayes and pinning him to retain their titles.
*Chavo Guerrero w/Vickie Guerrero & Bam Neely d. CM Punk by Pinfall to Retain the ECW World Heavyweight Title The Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero had shocked many people by answering an open challenge issued by ECW Champion CM Punk on an episode of ECW on SciFi, showing up to challenge the Straight Edge Superstar to a title unification match. Thanks to help from a debuting Bam Neely (who would become Chavo's bodyguard), Guerrero had upset Punk and won the ECW World Title, unifying it with the Cruiserweight Title in the process (with the latter title eventually being officially retired). Neely would again provide support for Guerrero, as his distraction meant the referee missed Chavo tapping out to the Anaconda Vise. Punk went after the bodyguard on the outside and almost ate a slap from Vickie. When Punk got ready to hit Vickie with a Go to Sleep, Chavo intercepted him with a dropkick, causing Vickie to land on Punk. Guerrero then won the match with a Frogsplash to retain the title.
*Finlay d. Trevor Murdoch w/Garrison Cade by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Intercontinental Title Finlay had shocked everyone by pinning Umaga on the Monday Night Raw before Night of Champions (albeit with help from John Cena) and winning the Intercontinental Title in the process. With every title on the line, Finlay was given an opponent by newly installed Raw GM William Regal rather quickly, as he defended the title against former champion Trevor Murdoch. The communication issues between former tag team champions Cade and Murdoch were front and center with the title match, with Finlay simply sitting back and letting their frustrations boil over, before hitting Murdoch with the Celtic Cross to pick up the victory and retain his title. Afterwards, Cade and Murdoch engaged in a pull apart brawl, signifying the end of their partnership.
*Montel Vontavious Porter d. Matt Hardy by Pinfall to Retain the WWE United States Title United States Champion MVP had recently entered a feud with Matt Hardy, largely centered around a game of oneupsmanship. Each man was determined to prove he was the better athlete, dancer, whatever the competition might be. This culminated on the Smackdown before Night of Champions, when MVP attacked Hardy when he was about to beat the champion in a basketball game of PIG, leading to this match. MVP and Hardy were evenly matched, and despite all his best moves, the champion couldn't put away the former Cruiserweight King. Hardy gained an advantage towards the end of the match and hit a Twist of Fate, but MVP was able to sneak a foot underneath the bottom rope that the referee nearly missed, leading to Hardy thinking he had won the title on a false three count. This distraction allowed MVP to roll up Hardy from behind, using the ropes for additional leverage and securing the victory with a dirty pinfall.
*Cryme Tyme [JTG & Shad Gaspard] d. Shelton Benjamin & Carlito and Charlie Haas & Jeff Hardy by Pinfall to Retain the World Tag Team Titles After losing the World Tag Team Championship, The World's Greatest Tag Team had suddenly imploded the following night on Raw. Both Haas and Benjamin insisted that they could win the World Tag Team Titles with partners of their own, leading to Raw General Manager William Regal to make a triple threat match with the two makeshift teams against the tag champions. Shelton chose his old rival Carlito, while Haas teamed with former IC Champion Jeff Hardy. Both makeshift teams worked well together, with Benjamin and Carlito coming close to winning the titles after Carlito hit a Backstabber on Haas. But a Jeff Hardy Swanton broke up the pinfall attempt, only for Hardy to run right into a Drive By Lariat from Shad Gaspard. JTG then snuck in an made the cover on Haas to pick up the victory.
*Beth Phoenix d. Candace Michelle by Pinfall to Win the WWE Divas Title Back at Extreme Rules, "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix had made her WWE debut, attacking Mickie James after her successful title defense. She then furthered her campaign of destruction, costing Mickie James a title match against Candace Michelle. Thus with Phoenix set to challenge the new Divas Champion, she seemingly had a far easier opponent to deal with. The Glamazon easily bested Candace, winning the Divas Championship without any difficulty by hitting the champion with the Glam Slam. After the match though, Beth was attacked by Mickie James with a steel chair, who made clear she was coming after the Divas Title.
*Umaga d. John Cena by Referee Stoppage A feud had broken out between Umaga and John Cena when Cena had volunteered to be Bobby Lashley's tag partner in a potential handicap match against Orton and the Samoan Savage, earning the ire of Vince McMahon in the process. This led McMahon to make a match between Umaga and Cena for Night of Champions. Contrary to many of his matches the past couple of years, Umaga flattened John Cena, running through him with reckless abandon and not letting the self-professed Champ get much of a run in edge wise. Still, Cena refused to quit or let himself be pinned, even after taking two Samoan Spikes and being busted open by an exposed turnbuckle. In the end, when Cena couldn't stand to defend himself, the referee stopped the match, awarding the decision to Umaga. After the match once Cena came too, he was incensed by the fact that the referee had stopped the match, so much so that he delivered an FU to the offending official.
*Kane d. Batista, Rey Mysterio & King Booker in a 4-Man Elimination Match to Win the Vacant World Heavyweight Title Just before Night of Champions, it was revealed that Edge had suffered a torn triceps and that he would be forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship. Smackdown Interim General Manager Vickie Guerrero made a Four Man Elimination Match for the Vacant Title, featuring Batista, Rey Mysterio and King Booker as former World Champions, as well as Kane (the man who was originally set to face Edge in a No DQ match at Night of Champions.) Mysterio was the first man eliminated via a Book End from King Booker. The King however was eliminated following a Batista Bomb, leaving him and Kane. The two big men had a hoss fight, and it appeared that Batista would win the match as he set up the Big Red Machine for a Batista Bomb. However the lights suddenly went dark and the telltale bell of the Undertaker rang throughout the arena, leading to Batista being distracted. However the lights came up without a Phenom in the ring, only with Kane standing up and hitting a Chokeslam on The Animal, before polishing him off with a Tombstone to Win the World Heavyweight Title.
*Randy Orton d. Bobby Lashley by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship Much to the chagrin of Vince McMahon, Bobby Lashley had earned a WWE Championship match by winning a Battle Royal on Raw, placing him in a match against Randy Orton. The Legend Killer had difficulty in the early going, as Lashley used his power game to control the match and keep Orton from slowing the match down. The match changed when Lashley injured his shoulder, allowing Orton to take control. In the end though, Lashley made a come back and hit a Spear on the champion, only for that spear to accidentally take out the referee as well, preventing Lashley from getting the pin. Suddenly Lashley was attacked by the newly reformed Samoan Fight Club from ECW, as MaTai An'aoi and his new tag partner, Sim Snuka, rushed the ring and hit a double power bomb on the challenger. Orton then rolled over for the pin as the referee came to, scoring the pinfall to retain his title.

ECW Heatwave August 25, 2007 Dayton Arena New London, CT
*Kofi Kingston d. Colt Cabana by Pinfall Two of the younger stars of ECW took center stage to open the event. Kingston and Cabana had a highly competitive match which ended when the would-be Jamaican caught Cabana unawares with his Trouble in Paradise finisher to pick up the win. After the match, Kingston and Cabana shook hands as a sign of respect.
*John Morrison, The Miz & Eric Escobar d. CM Punk, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder by Pinfall The former Johnny Nitro had made his journey to ECW, adopting the new movie/rock star persona of John Morrison and aligning himself with The Miz. Teaming with Eric Escobar, the trio faced off against the new team of Hawkins and Ryder as well as former ECW champion CM Punk. Punk was kept out of the match for much of the run, as Escobar and Morrison focused on Hawkins and kept him isolated from his partners. Once Punk did get in the ring, he cleaned house and seemingly won the match by locking The Miz in an Anaconda Vise. Escobar made the save though, throwing Punk out of the match and leaving Hawkins and Ryder to their fate. Eventually Morrison finished off Ryder with a Starship Pain to win the match.
*The Samoan Fight Club [MaTai An'aoi & Sim Snuka] d. Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly by Pinfall to Retain the ECW World Tag Team Titles After losing the tag titles, the Samoan Fight Club had reformed, with MaTai An'aoi ditching Sonny Siaki as his partner (in kayfabe, it reality this was due to Siaki's retirement from wrestling) and replacing him with fellow 2nd generation star Sim Snuka. The team had regained the World Tag Team Titles from The Sandman and Dreamer (with the help of Randy Orton, as a receipt for their help in the match against Bobby Lashley), and were put into a match against Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly to defend said titles. While the younger Rhodes fared as well as he could, the Samoan Fight Club worked too well together and were able to keep Holly at bay for much of the match, focusing on the rookie. Eventually Snuka hit a Superfly Splash after An'aoi took out Holly with a Samoan Spike to pick up the win and retain the titles.
*Big Daddy V w/Matt Striker d. Tommy Dreamer by Pinfall For his entire run in the company, Matt Striker had been dedicated to bringing down ECW with a variety of clients. His latest was the former Viscera, rechristened Big Daddy V. The 500 pounder took on the heart and soul of the original ECW in Tommy Dreamer, and easily crushed him, pinning him with one foot on his chest after hitting a Samoan Drop following a Big Splash.
*Chavo Guerrero w/Bam Neely d. Rob Van Dam w/Paul Heyman in a Losers Leave ECW Match to Retain the ECW World Title With a Smackdown star holding the ECW World Title hostage, ECW Owner Paul Heyman looked to Rob Van Dam to somehow bring it back. He initially booked the match, but Chavo pointed out that since he wasn't an ECW contracted talent, he didn't have to listen to Heyman's demands. Chavo eventually agreed to fight RVD at Heatwave, only with the condition that if he won, Heyman and Van Dam would agree to leave ECW forever. Chavo and RVD had an even match, though Van Dam eventually gained an advantage despite the outside interference of Bam Neely. However, Van Dam missed with a Five Star Frogsplash after Vickie Guerrero came through the crowd and hit Van Dam with the ECW World Title Belt. This interference allowed Guerrero to hit his own Frogsplash and get the victory, leaving the ECW crowd stunned as the creator of Extreme, Paul Heyman, was banished from his creation forever to close the show.
