WWE Money in the Bank July 18, 2010 Sprint Center Kansas City, MO
*Mark Henry d. Big Show, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, "Dashing" Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase Jr, William Regal & Matt Hardy in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match The first ever Money in the Bank Pay Per View would feature two Money in the Bank ladder matches, with contracts set for both the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Championship respectively. The World Title would kick things off in a high flying way, with several high spots from Matt Hardy, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio. However it would be the World's Strongest Man who would survive after The Big Show was knocked off the ring apron and through a ladder bridge at ring side, as he took out the remaining competitors at ringside and climbed the ladder to grab the briefcase and earn a guaranteed shot at the World Title at a time of his choosing.
*The Hart Dynasty [Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith] w/Natalya d. The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] w/Tamina Snuka by Submission to Retain the WWE World Tag Team Titles The feud between the Hart Dynasty and The Usos had been going on since the night after Wrestlemania, off and on. The Unified Tag Champions were finally set to defend the belts against the Samoans at Money in the Bank, with Natalya and Tamina in their teams respective corners as well. In a high paced match between the two teams, it looked as if the Usos would pull out the victory again after hitting twin superkicks on David Hart Smith. But the 2nd generation star was barely able to get a foot on the ropes to break up the pin attempt. After tagging in Tyson Kidd, who came in like a house on fire, The Dynasty were finally able to take control, with Natalya also taking out Tamina in the outside. Kidd eventually got Jimmy to tap out to the Sharpshooter to finally pick up the victory over their rivals and retain their titles.
*Beth Phoenix & Alicia Fox Wrestled to a No Contest [Phoenix Retains the Divas Title] After Kharma lost the Divas Title at Fatal 4-Way, she immediately went on a rampage the following night on Raw, earning a suspension for her trouble. This left Beth Phoenix to defend the Divas Title against Alicia Fox, who won a battle royal to earn the #1 contendership. However their match would only last a few seconds before Kharma came out of the crowd and attacked both women, resulting in a No Contest ending.
*Edge w/Christian d. Sheamus by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship After winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Sheamus in a Fatal 4-Way match without pinning the champion, Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long (over the objections of Raw General Manager John Laurinitis) made a one on one match for Money in the Bank between the current and former champion. Edge had Christian in his corner, a sign of the renewed friendship between the two men. Sheamus fought well against the Rated R Superstar, but Edge was able to beat back Sheamus and eventually duck a Brogue Kick, hitting a Spear on the rebound that garnered him the pinfall and allowed him to retain his title. After the match, though, as Edge was celebrating, he was blindsided by Christian, who inexplicably attacked him. Christian delivered a Killswitch onto the World Heavyweight Title belt before then delivering a one man conchairto to Edge, leaving him unconscious in the ring. It was then that Mark Henry reentered the picture.
*Mark Henry d. Edge by Pinfall in a Money in the Bank Cash-In to Win the World Heavyweight Championship Having won the Money in the Bank briefcase earlier in the night for the World Heavyweight Title, the World's Strongest Man wasted no time in cashing in on the knocked out champion. After the match started, it was an academic matter of Mark Henry simply rolling the unconscious champion over and pinning him for Henry to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career.
*Wade Barrett d. John Morrison by Pinfall to Win the Intercontinental Title Since debuting on the main roster, Wade Barrett had run roughshod through the competition, earning a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Morrison's high flying offense allowed him to have success early on, but eventually Barrett won with the Bullhammer, nearly taking the Prince of Parkour's head off as he won his first Intercontinental Championship.
*Triple H d. Jack Swagger by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship Triple H had established himself as a fighting champion in his latest WWE Title run, defending the title against all comers new and old. The latest individual to step up to the plate was United States Champion Jack Swagger, who promised to continue his fantastic run as a rookie by winning the WWE Title. However he would fall short to The Game, despite locking Triple H in the Ankle Lock at one point. Triple H was able to escape to the ropes, breaking the hold, and then rally to hit The Pedigree to retain his title.
*The Miz d. Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, John Cena, Christian, Kane, Dolph Ziggler & Alberto del Rio in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match The second Money in the Bank Ladder match closed out the Pay Per View, with several former champions like Randy Orton and John Cena gunning to be the next challenger for Triple H's WWE Championship. Christian had an opportunity to win the title, however he was stopped by an irate Edge, who chased him out of the arena after Christian had cost him the World Heavyweight Championship earlier in the night. Undefeated rookie Alberto del Rio was taken out by Kofi Kingston, who hit a Boom Drop off a Ladder through the announce table. It looked like Cena would pull out the victory, only to be caught by Dolph Ziggler with a Zig Zag off the ladder. This allowed The Miz to score the surprise upset, scurrying up the ladder and picking up the briefcase to become the new Mr. Money in the Bank.
Off-Camera Title Change: July 30: R-Truth & Zack Ryder d. The Hart Dynasty for the WWE World Tag Team Titles

WWE Summerslam August 15, 2010 Staples Center Los Angeles, CA
*Jack Swagger d. The Big Show by Referee Stoppage to Retain the United States Title The All-American put his US Title on the line against the World's Largest Athlete, promising to make The Big Show tap out. The Giant dominated the early part of the match, and Swagger had no answer for The Big Show's powerful offense. This ended when Big Show attempted a Right Hand of Doom on the outside, only for Swagger to duck and for Big Show to punch the ring post, severely damaging his hand. Swagger then zeroed in on the hand and arm, locking in an armbar on the Giant in an attempt to gain a submission victory. Though The Big Show refused to tap out, the referee eventually stopped the match to protect The Big Show's health, awarding the match to Swagger. After the match, an angry Big Show chokeslammed the referee and refused help to the back, preferring to head out under his own power.
*TruthRyder [R-Truth & Zack Ryder] d. The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] & The Hart Dynasty [Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE World Tag Team Titles The unlikely duo of R-Truth and Zack Ryder had upset the Hart Dynasty for the WWE World Tag Team Titles, though only due to the outside interference of The Usos during the match. Kidd and Smith had returned the favor in the Usos title match with TruthRyder, leading to this triple threat match for the belts. While The Harts and The Usos were largely focused on each other, R-Truth and Ryder were able to hang back and pick their spots. This served to the champions advantage, as they waited for Kidd and Smith to hit the Hart Attack on Jey Uso before Ryder hit Smith with the Ruff Ryder to steal the victory.
*Sheamus & Wade Barrett Fought to a No Contest [Barrett Retains the IC Title] The two former ECW Champions and British Heavyweights competed in a brutal match, with each man attempting to beat the living tar out of the other one. Barrett bailed on the match in an effort to keep his IC Title reign in tact, but Sheamus tracked him down, fighting him to the back as the referee counted both men out of the ring.
*Daniel Bryan d. Kaval by Submission to Retain the ECW World Title In what would be the final ECW Title match on Pay Per View (as the promotion would be rebranded to NXT the following Tuesday in a Lights Out special event), Daniel Bryan took on the self-professed World Warrior in Kaval. Both men fought an incredibly close match that saw Bryan eventually take the win by hooking Kaval in the LeBell Lock. After the match, both men shook the others hand as a sign of respect.
*John Cena d. Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero by Pinfall For several months John Cena had been contending with the challenge of The Show Off Dolph Ziggler, who had taken up with former Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero. The genesis of the feud came when Cena resisted the advances of the self-professed "cougar" of the WWE. On an episode of Raw, Ziggler had upset Cena in a match following interference from Guerrero. Cena was able to turn the tables at Summerslam though, hitting a Super Attitude Adjustment from the top rope onto the Show Off to pick up the win.
*The Miz d. Kofi Kingston by Pinfall to Retain the Money in the Bank Briefcase After winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, The Miz had entered a feud with former IC Champion Kofi Kingston, as he Kingston had actually managed to defeat The Miz on two separate occasions following the self-professed A-Lister's victory at Money in the Bank. Miz demanded a third rematch with Kingston, but Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long ordered that the match also be for Miz's Money in the Bank briefcase. Despite nearly pulling off the victory a third time, Miz cheated Kingston out of the match, hitting him with the briefcase behind the referee's back and then delivering the Skull Crushing Finale for good measure to pick up the win and retain his title shot.
*Kharma d. Beth Phoenix by Pinfall to Win the Divas Championship Having returned from suspension early (by order of Raw GM John Laurinitis), Kharma set her sights on regaining the Divas Championship from The Glamazon. The two powerhouses of the Divas division had a donnybrook brawl, as Phoenix found herself unable to manhandle Kharma as she could with most other opponents. Despite providing the toughest challenge to Kharma to date, Phoenix still fell to a Sitout Powerbonb, as Kharma regained the Divas Title.
*Rey Mysterio d. Kane w/Paul Bearer by Countout Back in May The Undertaker had been attacked from behind by an unknown assailant. Kane and Paul Bearer had taken it upon themselves to investigate who was behind the attack, and eventually announced that they had determined that Rey Mysterio was the culprit. Despite Mysterio proclaiming his innocence, Kane attacked Mysterio with ferocity that he rarely displayed anymore. However, before he could finish off Mysterio, The Undertaker returned, much to the chagrin of Kane, as it was revealed that Kane himself had attacked his brother out of jealousy of being named #1 contender to the WWE Title. Kane ran from his brother as Mysterio was handed the win via countout.
*Mark Henry d. Edge by Disqualification to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship The World's Strongest Man had wasted little time in cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase, moving on it the same night he won the contract to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. To do so, he defeated a weakened Edge, who had been taken out by a betraying Christian. The Rated R Superstar called in for his rematch at Summerslam, with Christian initially barred from the building by Theodore Long. This was overruled by John Laurinitis, who hired Christian to be the Special Guest Referee for the match. With his former friend calling the shots, Edge had little chance of defeating Henry, and was eventually disqualified by Christian for "insubordination." However Edge would get the last laugh, hitting Christian with a Con-Chair-To of his own in retribution for the attack on him the month before.
*Triple H d. CM Punk & Randy Orton by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship Both CM Punk and Randy Orton made claims to being the true #1 contender for the WWE Championship heading into Summerslam. Orton had won a battle royal on Raw, while Punk had defeated Orton in a match on Smackdown, resulting in him being added to the match later on. Despite the odds being stacked against the Game, Triple H was able to perservere and retain his title, hitting Orton with the Pedigree after Orton had taken out Punk with an RKO. After the match, John Cena appeared in the entryway, signaling to Triple H that he was coming for the WWE Title to close the show.
Off-Camera Title Changes: August 17: The Prime Time Players d. The Colons for the ECW/NXT Tag Team Titles August 17: Naomi Wins a Fatal Fourway Match to become the Inaugural NXT Women's Champion August 17: Curtis Axel d. WWE Night of Champions September 19, 2010 Allstate Arena Rosemont, IL
*Christian d. Edge by Disqualification After betraying Edge at Money in the Bank, Christian had proven himself to be a thorn in the Rated R Superstar's side. Raw GM John Laurinaitis set up a match to open up Night of Champions between the two former friends, with the winner going on to challenge the World's Strongest Man Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Title later on in the night. Edge attacked Christian with reckless abandon and nearly got himself disqualified on two or three occasions, as Christian would have been content to get a cheap victory. In the end that was exactly what happened, as Christian insulted Edge's family one too many times and earned a low blow for his troubles, causing the referee to disqualify the Rated R Superstar and award the win to Captain Charisma. Christian then darted through the crowd, as security tried to hold Edge back from pursuit.
*The Miz & Dolph Ziggler d. Santino Marella & Valdimir Kozlov by Pinfall to Retain the WWE World Tag Team Titles The unlikely partnership of The Miz and Dolph Ziggler had defeated TruthRyder to become the new WWE World Tag Team Champions, and were quickly faced with facing another odd couple in WWE in the form of Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. Marella and Kozlov made for a much stronger pairing than the A-List Show Offs would have expected, with Santino nearly pinning Miz after hitting him with his joke Cobra finisher, only for Dolph to put Miz's foot on the ropes at the very last minute. Amidst a 4 man brawl, Miz was able to drill Kozlov with the Money in the Bank briefcase which allowed Ziggler to hit the Zig Zag to pick up the win and retain the titles.
*Kharma d. The Bella Twins [Nikki & Brie Bella] by Pinfall in a Handicap Match to Retain the Divas Title The monstrous Kharma resumed her domination of the Divas division, taking on both of the Bella Twins in a Handicap Match. Kharma easily dominated both Nikki and Brie, pinning the latter following a sitout powerbomb.
*Alberto del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez d. Rey Mysterio by Submission The braggadocious Alberto del Rio had been on a massive winning streak since his debut earlier in the year, and had recently entered into a feud with the other Mexican star in WWE in Rey Mysterio. Mysterio had become the first person to pin del Rio on an episode of Smackdown, causing Alberto to snap and attack Rey, leading to this rematch. del Rio worked over the already injured arm of Mysterio, but the luchadore was able to use his high flying offense to keep del Rio at bay for a while. As Mysterio hit the 619 and set up for the Frogsplash, Alberto's personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez tried to interfere, only to get hit with a seated senton to the outside. As Mysterio came back in the ring, del Rio hit an enziguiri and then locked in the Cross Armbreaker, forcing Mysterio to tap out because of his injured arm.
*Wade Barrett d. Evan Bourne, John Morrison, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus & Kofi Kingston in a Six Pack Challenge to Retain the Intercontinental Title Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett faced a huge challenge in a Six Pack Match for his title. The match was one fall to a finish, leading to the entire thing being controlled chaos for the most part. The match ended when John Morrison hit the Starship Pain on Drew McIntyre, only to be interrupted by Sheamus attempting to break up the pin. Barrett then came rushing in and hit a Bullhammer elbow on both men before pinning the fallen McIntyre and scoring the pinfall to keep his title.
*The Big Show d. Jack Swagger in a No Disqualification Match to Win the United States Title In a rematch from the previous month, The Big Show took on Jack Swagger again, this time with No Disqualifications and No Referee Stoppages allowed, ensuring that their must be a winner. Big Show was still dealing with an injured hand following his Summerslam match with Swagger, and the All-American focused on the arm in an effort to get the Big Show to tap out. However Big Show overcame his injury and broke out of an attempted ankle lock for good measure, before hitting a Chokeslam through a table and picking up the win to capture the United States Title.
*CM Punk d. Triple H by Disqualification [Triple H Retains the WWE Title] The Straight Edge Saviour challenged The Game for the WWE Title at Night of Champions after winning a #1 contenders match against John Cena on an episode of Raw. However, Cena got himself appointed as the Special Guest Referee for the match. Cena called the match down the middle, arguing with both men after near falls. An errant kick from Punk knocked down Cena briefly. Punk took advantage and kicked Triple H below the belt before hitting the GTS and going for the pin. Cena however refused to make the count and argued with Punk repeatedly, eventually getting into a shoving match. Cena then hit Punk with a straight right hand as Triple H came too. The Game then hit the Pedigree and got the pinfall on Punk, being declared the winner. However, Raw GM John Laurinitis came out and reversed the decision, stating that Punk was the winner via disqualification.
*Christian d. Mark Henry by Pinfall to Win the World Heavyweight Championship After having beaten Edge earlier in the night (and with John Laurinitis ensuring him that Edge had been removed from the building), Christian challenged Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Championship in his second match of the night. The World's Strongest Champion tossed Christian around like a ragdoll, only faltering in his assault when Christian was able to get a shot in at the oft injured knee of the champion. Christian took control after the referee was momentarily knocked out, delivering a low blow to the champion and then continuing to work over the knee. After Henry emphatically kicked out of a Killswitch, though, Christian began looking for a way out as Henry stalked him around the ring. The World's Strongest Man eventually hit an errant splash in the corner, squashing the referee. This brought out Edge from the crowd carrying a steel chair. Edge attempted to hit Christian with the chair, but accidentally hit Henry instead straight across the head, knocking him out. Christian then used the World Title belt to KO Edge before pinning Henry as the referee came too, pinning him to become World Champion.

WWE Hell in a Cell October 3, 2010 American Airlines Center Dallas, TX
*"Dashing" Cody Rhodes d. Sheamus by Pinfall Since his break from the Legacy stable earlier in the year, Cody Rhodes had adopted the persona of a man obsessed with his looks, taking the moniker of "Dashing" Cody Rhodes. He had enjoyed some success throughout the summer. He continued this success against the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, as he dodged a Brogue Kick and then hit a Disaster Kick of his own, before finishing off the Irishman with a Cross Rhodes for the win.
*Natalya d. Kharma by Disqualification [Kharma Retains the Divas Title] Natalya provided the toughest challenge to Kharma in a long while, refusing to give up despite the powerful Divas Champion's offense. Kharma eventually lost control of her temper, refusing to break a chokehold on the 2nd generation star and getting herself disqualified in the process. Kharma continued the beatdown after the match, only to be chased off by Gail Kim, who brought a steel chair to the ring to try and keep Kharma at bay.
*The Miz d. The Big Show by Pinfall in a Title vs. Briefcase Match to Win the United States Title After winning the United States title at Night of Champions, The Big Show entered into a feud with The Miz, who was seeking that same championship. Miz's initial title match with Big Show ended in a count out loss for the A-Lister, as he feigned an injury in an attempt to gain sympathy. When he requested a rematch from Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long (who was subbing for Raw GM John Laurinitis that week, due to a planned vacation), Long agreed, but only if Miz put his Money in the Bank briefcase on the line as well. Big Show dominated The Miz, easily, with The A-Lister only gaining an advantage through underhanded means. When the referee went down, Miz went for the Money in the Bank briefcase, only for Big Show to stop him from using it with a massive chop. Big Show loaded up for the Right Hand of Doom, but Miz blocked the punch with the briefcase, causing Big Show to recoil in pain. Miz then drilled the Giant with the case to knock him out before pinning him as the ref came too, picking up the win and the US Title.
*Kane d. The Undertaker by Pinfall in a Hell in a Cell Match Back in the spring The Undertaker had been assaulted by an unknown person, preventing him from challenging Triple H for the WWE Championship. The Undertaker's brother Kane had taken it upon himself to find out who had attacked the Deadman, eventually blaming Rey Mysterio. The Undertaker returned at Summerslam though, revealing that it was Kane who had attacked him, setting up their eternal feud once more with a Hell in a Cell match. Paul Bearer was torn between his managing of Kane and his old friend The Undertaker, leading to him being in a neutral corner during the match. The two brothers fought as they usually did till the end, when it looked like Paul Bearer had sided with the Phenom, only for him to smash the urn into the Undertaker's head and re-ally himself with Kane, allowing the Big Red Machine to hit his own Tombstone and pick up the win over his brother.
*John Cena d. CM Punk by Pinfall After John Cena had allegedly "cost" CM Punk the WWE Championship at Night of Champions by causing his match to end in a disqualification, the Straight Edge Saviour challenged the Franchise to a one on one match at Hell in a Cell, calling Cena everything wrong with professional wrestling today. Both men had a competitive match with each other with several near falls, but Cena would catch Punk off guard with an Attitude Adjustment off the top rope to pick up the sudden victory. However Cena's victory would be short lived, as he would quickly be attacked by three men identified as Brodus Clay, Mason Ryan and Derrick Bateman. The three men took their marching orders from Punk as they helped him to his feet and let him deliver a GTS to the fallen Cena.
*Triple H d. Jack Swagger by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship Jack Swagger had challenged Triple H to a WWE Title match on an episode of Raw, which the Game accepted right then and there. However Swagger ducked out of the match, claiming to "not be ready" and issued a second challenge for Hell in a Cell. Triple H said that he had burned his only opportunity, only for Swagger to attacked Triple H later in the night during his match against Wade Barrett, leading to this title contest. Swagger targeted the Ankle of the Game, which had been softened up in the weeks leading up to Hell in a Cell, and nearly got Triple H to tap to the Ankle Lock. But The Game was able to escape to the ropes and take advantage of Swagger's inexperience, eventually hitting the Pedigree to pick up the hard fought victory and retain the title again.
*The Aerial Aces [Justin Gabriel & Evan Bourne] d. Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov, The Colons [Primo & Epico], The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso], The Hart Dynasty [Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith], The Prime Time Players [Titus O'Neil & Darren Young] and TruthRyder [R-Truth & Zack Ryder] in a Tag Team Turmoil Match In a #1 contender's Gauntlet match, the makeshift team of The Aerial Aces were able to score the surprise upset, outlasting every other team and beating The Colons in the final match to earn a Tag Team Title shot the following night on Raw.
*Christian d. Edge by Pinfall in a Hell in a Cell Match to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship The blood feud between Christian and Edge was set to seemingly have its end in a bloodbath, as both men took on the other in a hellacious Hell in a Cell match. Reminiscent of Attitude era brawls of the past, both men were busted open in their quest to win the World Heavyweight Championship and finally settle once and for all who the better man was. After 20 minutes the match was at a virtual standstill, until former World Champion and The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry made his presence known. He tore down the door to the Cell and attacked both men, leaving them both lying before walking away from the carnage. Christian was barely able to crawl over and make a single arm cover on Edge to pick up the win, but it was clear in the end that Henry was coming for the title and both men once and for all to close the show.
Off-Camera Title Changes: October 4: The Aerial Aces d. The Miz & Dolph Ziggler to Win the WWE World Tag Team Titles October 12: Richie Steamboat & Bo Dallas d. The Prime Time Players for the NXT World Tag Team Titles October 15: John Morrison d. Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Title

WWE Halloween Havoc October 24, 2010 Target Center Minneapolis, MN
*John Morrison d. Wade Barrett by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title The Prince of Parkour had surprised a lot of people by defeating Wade Barrett on an episode of Smackdown to recapture the Intercontinental Title. The Battling Brit exercised his rematch clause for Halloween Havoc, seeking to make Morrison's second title reign a short one. Despite using his overwhelming power, Morrison's high flying abilities eventually won the day, as he ducked underneath the Bullhammer Elbow and delivered a stiff superkick to the side of Barrett's head, stunning him. Morrison then hit the Moonlight Drive followed by Starship Pain to pick up the win and retain his title.
*The Aerial Aces [Evan Bourne & Justin Gabriel] d. The Hart Dynasty [Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE World Tag Team Titles The high flying duo of Evan Bourne and Justin Gabriel had continued their meteoric rise to the top of the tag division, defeating The Miz and Dolph Ziggler to become the new World Tag Team Champions. Their first major title defense was against former champions The Hart Dynasty, whom the Aces had unexpectedly defeated in the Gauntlet match at Hell in a Cell to become #1 contenders. Much to the shock of the former champions, history repeated itself, as Gabriel took advantage of a miscommunication between Kidd and Smith to hit a hard Shining Wizard to Smith, before finishing him off with a 450 Splash. After the match, Kidd and Smith got into an argument that left Smith storming off to the back.
*The Miz d. Zack Ryder by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title The Miz had arrogantly issued an open challenge the night after winning the US Title, which was answered by Zack Ryder. To The A-Lister's chagrin, Ryder forced Miz to bail on the match, earning a countout win over the champion. The following week on Smackdown, Ryder survived a 10 minute challenge against Miz, with Smackdown GM Theodore Long granting Ryder a title shot at Halloween Havoc with the stipulation that if Miz was counted out or disqualified, he would lose the title. However Ryder couldn't duplicate his success against The Miz, as the A-Lister hit a surreptitious low blow against the former tag champion and then finished him off with a Skull Crushing Finale to retain the title.
*Kharma d. Natalya by Pinfall in a No Disqualification Match to Retain the Divas Championship After their previous match had ended in a disqualification, Raw General Manager John Laurinitis made a return match between Kharma and Natalya, with a No Disqualification Stipulation. Natalya actually managed to get the Sharpshooter on the champion, and seemingly won when it appeared that Kharma had tapped out. However Kharma was simply reaching for the ropes, fooling Natalya into prematurely celebrating and releasing the hold. Kharma then resumed a vertical base and regained control of the match, winning with a sitout powerbomb onto a set of steel steps for the pinfall victory.
*Triple H d. Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match to Retain the WWE Championship Triple H continued his run of being a fighting champion, taking on Dolph Ziggler in a 2 out of 3 Falls match. The build for the match saw the Show Off score a victory over The Game in a tag match, and Ziggler lobbied Raw GM (and noted Triple H enemy) John Laurinitis to make the match 2 out of 3 Falls. As Triple H made his entrance to the ring, he was attacked by Ziggler's tag team partner The Miz, who laid him out with the Money in the Bank briefcase and then rolled him into the ring. This allowed Ziggler to pick up an easy first fall on the injured champion. Ziggler however was unable to put away Triple H for good on a 2nd fall, and The Game evened the score after a sudden Arn Anderson style spinebuster. Even at one fall a piece, Miz teased cashing in his Money in the Bank contract, only to argue with Vickie Guerrero at ringside. The delay allowed Triple H to KO Miz on the outside, preventing a cash in. Ziggler nearly got the win on the distraction, hitting the Zig Zag, only to get a two count. Triple H then rallied and hit the Pedigree to pick up the win and retain his title.
*CM Punk, Brodus Clay & Derrick Bateman w/Mason Ryan d. John Cena, Randy Orton & The Big Show Despite losing to John Cena at Hell in a Cell earlier in the month, CM Punk had been aided after the match by three men later identified as Brodus Clay, Derrick Bateman and Mason Ryan. The three former FCW standouts called themselves the Nexus of WWE, with CM Punk as their leader. This led to a six man tag match as Punk, Clay and Bateman took on Cena and his partners, Randy Orton and The Big Show. Cena and his partners famously couldn't co-exist, in particular the long standing rivalry between Orton and Cena. This miscommunication eventually led to Punk taking advantage of an argument between Orton and Cena and hitting the Viper with a GTS for the win.
*The Undertaker d. Kane in a Ring of Fire Match After Paul Bearer had turned on The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell, The Phenom literally buried his former manager once and for all, kidnapping him on an episode of Smackdown and burying him in a concrete crypt in a cemetery. This led to Kane challenging Undertaker to a final confrontation between the two in a Ring of Fire match, a normal match taking place surrounded by flames. In a rather plodding match, The Undertaker finally managed to vanquish his brother seemingly for the last time, hitting a Tombstone Piledriver and picking up the win.
*Edge d. Christian & Mark Henry in a Triple Threat Match to Win the World Heavyweight Championship Following Christian's narrow victory at Hell in a Cell, Smackdown GM Theodore Long ordered him to defend his title in a Triple Threat Match against both The Rated R Superstar and The World's Strongest Man. Captain Charisma was simply trying to survive, while Mark Henry was seeking revenge against both men for interrupting his world title run. In the end, Christian nearly escaped with the World Title again, as he hit the Kill Switch on Mark Henry onto the World Title belt, only for Edge to barely break up the pinfall. Christian and Edge then fought briefly before Edge caught Christian with a Spear out of nowhere, picking up the win and regaining the World Heavyweight Championship to close the show.

WWE Survivor Series November 21, 2010 American Airlines Arena Miami, FL
*Randy Orton d. CM Punk by Pinfall The previous month at Halloween Havoc had seen CM Punk's Nexus sucessfully take out three top stars in a six man tag. That had spun off into a larger feud between The Straight Edge Saviour and the Viper, Randy Orton. Going into the match, Punk was clearly counting on the aide of his Nexus at ringside. However, after he refused to support Raw GM John Laurinitis in his bid for total control (hinting at his infamous Pipe Bomb Promo the following year), Laurinitis banned the Nexus from ringside as punishment. Punk and Orton had a strong one on one encounter that saw Punk focus on Orton's oft injured arm, setting him up for an Anaconda Vise. But Orton fought back and eventually hit an RKO out of nowhere to pick up the win.
*Kaval, Richie Steamboat, Bo Dallas & Big E Langston d. Curtis Axel, Seth Rollins, Damien Sandow & Husky Harris in a Survivor Series Match - Curtis Axel d. Kaval by Pinfall - Big E Langston d. Husky Harris by Pinfall - Big E Langstron d. Damien Sandow by Pinfall - Big E Langston Was Disqualified - Seth Rollins d. Bo Dallas - Seth Rollins Was Disqualified - Richie Steamboat d. Curtis Axel by Pinfall Sole Survivor: Richie Steamboat
*Kharma d. Gail Kim by Pinfall to Retain the Divas Title Gail Kim had frequently saved many of the other divas on the roster from Kharma's frequent rampages, leading to a feud between two of the more skilled Divas on the Roster. Kim gave Kharma the toughest challenge of her run thus far, nearly pulling off the upset on a couple of occasions. However, Kharma eventually won with her sheer strength, finishing off Kim with a sitout powerbomb to retain the Divas title.
*"Dashing" Cody Rhodes d. John Morrison by Pinfall to Win the Intercontinental Title The self-professed "Dashing" one challenged John Morrison to an Intercontinental Title match at Survivor Series, but was seemingly far more concerned with Morrison's attempts to hit him in the face. Rhodes played up this fact to the referee and took advantage of the distractions the referee's constant interjections afforded him, eventually hitting a surreptitious low blow to the champion and pinning him after delivering a Cross Rhodes to Morrison, becoming the IC Champion for the first time.
*The Undertaker d. Ted DiBiase Jr. w/Ted DiBiase by Pinfall In between matches Ted DiBiase Jr came out with his father, lamenting the fact that the self-professed Million Dollar Champion wasn't on a major show like Survivor Series. The Million Dollar Man pointed out that he had success at the show as well, being the WWE Champion at the first Survivor Series. He also pointed out that 20 years earlier he had introduced The Undertaker to WWE, a decision that was the only one he ever regretted of his career. This brought out the Phenom, who attacked DiBiase Jr with a Big Boot. The elder DiBiase attempted to bribe The Undertaker with money, only for Taker to scoop him up for a Tombstone. The Hall of Famer was saved by his son, who attacked Taker from behind, leading to this short impromptu match. DiBiase Jr tried to hit Undertaker with Dream Street, but the Phenom easily fought out and hit a Chokeslam followed by a Tombstone on DiBiase the younger as DiBiase the Elder scurried up the rampway, easily pinning Jr in a glorified squash match.
*Edge d. Mark Henry in a Steel Cage Match to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship Having Finally regained the World Heavyweight Championship at Halloween Havoc, Edge was forced to defend the title one final time against the World's Strongest Man and former champion Mark Henry. The match was placed into a Steel Cage to prevent any outside interference from Christian or any other entity. Edge used a rope a dope strategy to try and wear down the former champion, eventually able to target Henry's knee to take him out. Henry resumed control through his sheer stregnth, but when he attempted a Vader Bomb on the champion, Edge was able to roll out of the way. Edge then hit a Spear to take out the challenger. Edge climbed up to the top of the cage just as Henry tried to crawl his way to the outside through the door, with the Rated R Superstar hitting the floor before Henry could to retain the title.
*Team Johnny [The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Drew McIntyre, Alberto del Rio, Wade Barrett & Kane] d. Team Teddy [Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith, The Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Sheamus & R-Truth] in a Survivor Series Match to Determine the GM of Smackdown & Raw For several months, Raw General Manager John Laurinitis and Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long had been engaged in a simmering cold war with each other, constantly undermining the other's authority. Things finally came to a head when Vince McMahon was conducting a performance review of Long on an episode of Smackdown, with Laurinitis lobbying heavily to get Teddy fired. Vince finally had enough of Johnny's interference, and he ordered a Survivor Series match with Winner Take All stipulations, with the winning GM taking control of both Smackdown and Raw. - Daniel Bryan d. Dolph Ziggler by Submission - Wade Barrett d. R-Truth by Pinfall - Kofi Kingston d. Jimmy Uso by Pinfall - Kofi Kingston d. Drew McIntyre by Pinfall - Alberto del Rio d. Kofi Kingston by Submission - Kane d. Rey Mysterio by Pinfall - The Big Show Was Counted Out - The Miz d. David Hart Smith by Pinfall - Tyson Kidd Was Intentionally Counted Out - Sheamus d. Kane by Pinfall - Alberto del Rio d. Sheamus by Submission - Daniel Bryan d. Alberto del Rio by Pinfall - Wade Barrett Was Disqualified - The Miz d. Daniel Bryan by Pinfall Sole Survivor: The Miz
*John Cena d. Triple H by Submission to Win the WWE Championship John Cena had earned a WWE Championship Match against Triple H by virtue of winning a Triple Threat match on Raw. After both men took out The Miz (who once again threatened to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on the winner), the match proper began. After a back and forth match that saw both men kick out of the other's finishers multiple times, Cena was finally able to reverse a Pedigree into an STF in the center of the ring to score the submission victory and become an unprecedented 7 time WWE Champion to close the show.
