WWE Wrestlemania 31 March 29, 2014 Levis Stadium Santa Clara, CA
*The Ascension [Konnor & Viktor] w/Kevin Sullivan d. The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Big E] w/Xavier Woods, The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] & Exotic Express [Adam Rose & Fandango] in a Fatal Fourway Match to Retain the WWE World Tag Team Titles Wrestlemania 31 kicked off with the WWE World Tag Team Titles on the line in a Fatal Fourway, as the dominant Ascension took on three top contenders for their titles. The match started off with chaos, before all 4 teams got their chance to show a streak of control. In the end, The New Day hit Fandango with the Midnight Hour to seemingly win the match, only for Kevin Sullivan to pull Kofi off the fallen dancer at the last minute, earning a right hand from Xavier Woods for his troubles. The distraction though allowed Konnor and Viktor to hit Jimmy Uso with the Fall of Man to pick up the win and retain the titles.
*Dolph Ziggler Won the 30-Man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal The 2nd annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal saw 30 men attempt to win the coveted trophy and establish themselves in the big event. Many of the crowd focused on eliminating The Big Show, who was viewed as literally the biggest threat in the match. The final five came down to Miz and Damien Mizdow, Luke Harper, Adrian Neville and Dolph Ziggler. Miz eliminated his own stunt double, capping off the difficulties the two had been having for weeks coming into Wrestlemania, only for Mizdow to aid Adrian Neville in eliminating Miz, chanting "You're Welcome!" before walking off. Luke Harper hit his Discus Clothesline on Neville, which eliminated him, leaving it down to the Wyatt Family Member and Dolph Ziggler. After a short back and forth, Harper came running after Ziggler, only for the Show Off to drop the top rope and cause the Wyatt Family Member to launch himself out of the ring, giving the Battle Royal victory to Ziggler.
*Antonio Cesaro d. Wade Barrett by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro took on his longtime rival Wade Barrett for the title, with both men engaging in a hard hitting, European style brawl with one another. Cesaro hit a Giant Swing that popped the crowd, but left both men dizzy from the effects. As they stumbled to their feet, Barrett launched into a Bullhammer Elbow, which took out the referee when Cesaro ducked. Cesaro then hit the Zurich Bomb, but with no referee to make the count. As Cesaro tended to the referee, The Miz snuck out from under the ring and snuck into the ring, hitting Cesaro with a Skull Crushing Finale from behind. Barrett rolled over for the cover as the ref came to, but Cesaro was barely able to get the shoulder up. After a short back and forth again, Cesaro rolled Barrett up into a Small Package and scored the 1-2-3 to retain the title.
*Cody w/Brandi Stiles d. Goldust by Pinfall The former Cody Rhodes had seemingly forsaking his family name in favor of being just Cody, leading to his brother and former tag partner Goldust to step up to defend the family name and "knock some sense" into Cody. The two met in a hard fought brawl that saw both men busted open at points, but in the end Cody countered a Curtain Call into the Cross Rhodes and picked up the win. After the match, Goldust tried to shake Cody's hand, only for Cody to spit in his face and walk out arrogantly.
*John Cena d. Rusev w/Lana by Pinfall to Win the United States Title After John Cena passed out to the Grozny Clutch the previous month at Fastlane, the Franchise of WWE had set out to get a rematch against the Russian Champion. On behalf of her client, Lana said she would not sign a rematch. Cena's pleas to the Authority fell on deaf ears as well, as Stephanie McMahon informed Cena that "there were no plans for him" at Wrestlemania. Cena eventually got Lana to acquiesce to a title shot when he offered to put his career on the line against the title, which led to Rusev accepting the match himself. The match was similar to their previous encounter, with Rusev working over the injured ribs of the challenger and attempting to lock in his feared submission hold. However when he did apply the hold, Cena managed to find inner strength that allowed him to lift Rusev off the mat and slam him to the ground, breaking out of the move. Cena then eventually hit the Attitude Adjustment twice in a row to finally put away Rusev and become the United States Champion once again, winning his first Wrestlemania match in a number of years.
*Paige d. AJ Lee, Natalya, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella & Tamina Snuka in a Six Woman Ladder Match to Win the Divas Championship The Divas Title had been held in a virtual strangle hold by The Bella Twins and their various allies for several months, with Paige, AJ Lee and Natalya all trying to get it away and failing at various points. This led to WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon to make a first ever Six Woman Ladder Match for the title at Wrestlemania. The Bellas were both taken out early, surprisingly by Tamina Snuka, leaving the other 4 ladies to fight for the belt themselves. After several minutes of a car crash style ladder match, the Bellas came back and both attempted to climb the ladder for the title, arguing with each other over the belt. That was when AJ Lee came in and pushed the ladder out from under them, causing them to fall through a pair of set up tables in the ring and taking them out for good. Before AJ could capitalize though, Natalya intercepted her and tossed her out of the ring. Tamina grabbed Natalya off the middle of a ladder with a Samoan Drop, providing Paige as the Last Woman Standing a chance to climb the ladder herself and grab the Divas Title.
*Sting d. Randy Orton w/Triple H by Pinfall Since Survivor Series, Sting had made a few appearences in his return to WWE after 12 years. After costing Randy Orton a shot at the WWE World Title, Sting made clear that he didn't know how long his career would last, and one of the things he wanted to do before completing it was get a win at Wrestlemania. This led Sting to challenge Randy Orton to a match at Wrestlemania 31, with Sting's old nemesis Triple H in the Viper's corner. Orton and Sting had a back and forth match that, when the referee went down, saw The Game attempt to interfere against The Icon. Triple H missed the sledge hammer shot however, KO'ing Orton with the object as Sting hit Triple H with a Scorpion Death Drop. Orton managed to kick out when a second referee came running down to make the pinfall, and the match continued for a few minutes. Orton got Sting down and went for a Punt Kick, but Sting missed, causing Orton to go chest first into an exposed turnbuckle in the corner. Sting than hit a Stinger Splash followed by another Death Drop to pick up the pinfall victory and his desired Wrestlemania win.
*Roman Reigns d. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat Match The Shield reached its final implosion in this triple threat match, following the disintegration of the alliance between Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in recent weeks, with Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins given instructions by The Authority to end the threat of Reigns and Ambrose once and for all. All 3 men were well familiar with each other, and had chances to win the match. In the end Roman Reigns hit Rollins with a Spear after Ambrose dodged out of the way of a Curb Stomp. Ambrose then tried to hit the Paradigm Shift on Roman before Reigns fought out of the move, hitting a spear on the Lunatic Fringe and then pinning Seth to get the three count and win the Battle of the Shield.
*Bray Wyatt d. The Undertaker by Pinfall in a No Disqualification Match For several months The Undertaker and Bray Wyatt had been engaged in a bout of psychological warfare, as the leader of the Wyatt Family sought to establish himself as the "New Face of Fear" in WWE ny ending the Undertaker's streak at Wrestlemania. Wyatt even went so far as to say he would order Harper and Rowan to keep away from ringside. True to his word, the Wyatt Family did not accompany Bray to ringside for his No Disqualification Match with the Deadman. The two took turns hitting their customary offense in a slow, but hard-hitting match. However Bray seemed to have an answer for every trick the Phenom could manage, even kicking out of a Tombstone Piledriver. Near the end, the Undertaker hit a Last Ride on the Eater of Worlds and signaled for a 2nd Tombstone Piledriver, when the lights went completely black in the stadium. When they came back up, a large man in a black sheep mask appeared on the apron, distracting the Undertaker. He didn't attack him, but merely stood there watching. This distraction allowed Wyatt to catch the Undertaker with Sister Abigail's Kiss, hitting the move 4 successive times to stun the world, pinning the Deadman and ending the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak. Wyatt and the Black Sheep left the arena together as the Undertaker slowly got to his feet, the weight of the streak having been lifted from his shoulders. The crowd, in stunned silence to that point, cheered for the Phenom as he removed his gloves and slowly walked to the back, looking very much like a mortal man.
*Daniel Bryan d. Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman by Submission to Win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Following his victory over Randy Orton at Fastlane, Daniel Bryan had secured his title match against Brock Lesnar, only for Lesnar to immediately attack Bryan. Lesnar's advocate, Paul Heyman, made clear that if Daniel Bryan went through with the match, he would be throwing his second chance at a career away, while also engaging in kayfabe contract negotiations with the Authority to keep Lesnar on WWE and away from UFC. This culminated at the Raw before Wrestlemania where Lesnar signed his new contract in a ceremony that was crashed by Daniel Bryan. Bryan locked in the LeBell Lock and managed to get Lesnar to visibly tap out to gain an advantage going into Mania. In their match, Bryan had to use his quickness to keep away from the much more powerful Lesnar, applying a rope-a-dope strategy while simultaneously working over the head and neck of the champion as possible. When Lesnar did get his hands on Bryan, he would toss him around the ring violently with several different suplex variations. Lesnar hit an F-5 on the challenger, but Bryan was able to get a leg under the bottom rope to break it. When Paul Heyman attempted to interfere on his client's behalf, the referee ejected him from ringside. Bryan would rally late in the match and hit two Baikatsu knees that took Lesnar down to one knee. When Bryan tried a third, Lesnar caught him and got him up for a second F-5, only for Bryan to counter with an armbar DDT that he floated over into the LeBell Lock in center ring. After several seconds of trying to fight out of the hold with brute strength, Lesnar was eventually forced to tap out, giving Bryan the comeback win and making him champion once again to close the show.

*Roman Reigns d. Antonio Cesaro, Wade Barrett & Cody w/Brandi Stiles in a Fatal Fourway Match to Win the Intercontinental Title The Intercontinental Title was on the line in this Fatal Fourway match, as Cesaro defended not only against his Wrestlemania opponent but also against Roman Reigns and Cody. Against three challengers, the champion held his own, and seemingly had the match won early on when he hit Barrett with a Zurich Bomb out of nowhere, only for Cody to break up the pin following a distraction from his image consultant Brandi Stiles. In the end, Roman Reigns hit a Spear on Cesaro, only for Cody to try and steal the win from Reigns as well. Cesaro kicked out of the Spear though and fought with Cody briefly, only for Reigns to hit another Spear on the Swiss Superman and on Cody, pinning Cesaro to pick up the win and his first Intercontinental Championship.
*Damien Sandow d. The Miz by Pinfall in a Chicago Street Fight After months of abuse at the hands of his employer, Damien Mizdow had finally quit being the Miz's stunt double, reverting back to the role of Damien Sandow. He took on his former employer in a Chicago Street Fight, with Miz taking advantage early on after attacking Sandow during his entrance. Miz hit Sandow with a Skull Crushing Finale on the concrete, which nearly got a three count, only for Sandow to barely get his shoulder up. When Miz argued with the referee, Sandow started to rally back, drilling Miz in the back with a steel chair repeatedly. Sandow eventually hit a top rope elbow drop onto Miz, who had a chair positioned on his chest, with Sandow picking up the win on the winded Megastar.
*Luke Harper w/The Wyatt Family d. Dean Ambrose by Pinfall In a standard match, Luke Harper took on Dean Ambrose following the Wyatt Family targeting the former Shield member. Ambrose controlled much of the match, but the appearance of the Wyatt's newest recruit, the "Black Sheep" Braun Strowman, at ringside turned the tide and Harper picked up the win with his Discus Clothesline.
*The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] d. The Ascension [Konnor & Viktor] w/Kevin Sullivan by Disqualification [Ascension Retains the WWE World Tag Team Titles] Following their interactions in the Fatal Fourway match at Wrestlemania, the Usos challenged The Ascension for the tag titles in a standard tag match. For one of the only times of their time on the main roster, The Ascension seemed lost against the Usos, unable to utilize their dominance to overwhelm their opponents. In the end, their advisor Kevin Sullivan had to get his charges intentionally disqualified in order to save their titles.
*Sheamus w/Triple H d. Randy Orton by Pinfall Following Randy Orton's failure to defeat Sting at Wrestlemania, the Viper fell out of favor with the Authority, leading to their other main member Sheamus to face the Apex Predator with Triple H in the Celtic Warrior's corner. Orton did the best he could, but the constant distraction from Triple H on the outside led to Sheamus eventually hitting the Brogue Kick for the win. Before the Authority could finish crushing Orton, though, Orton was unexpectedly saved by Sting, who chased Triple H and the Authority away.
*Paige d. Nikki Bella by Pinfall to Retain the Divas Championship At Wrestlemania, Paige had regained the Divas Championship by winning a 6 Woman Ladder Match. Former champion Nikki Bella had appeared the next night on Raw, demanding a rematch (despite having insisted on a "No Rematch Clause" for any of the competitors going into Mania). She grew desperate enough to allow Paige to choose any stipulation she wanted. The Anti-Diva granted the request, with the stipulation that Nikki's sister Brie would be locked in a shark cage at ringside, preventing her interference. Without the "twin magic" that had sustained Nikki's title reign, Paige was able to defeat the Bella sister relatively easily, picking up the win after hitting the RamPaige DDT.
*Seth Rollins w/J&J Security d. Daniel Bryan by Pinfall in an Extreme Rules Match to Retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Daniel Bryan had completed a monumental comeback by slaying the Beast Incarnate at Wrestlemania 31, regaining the WWE World Title he had to give up the year before due to injury. This dream turned sour the next night, however, when Lesnar returned and attacked Bryan during a celebration on Raw. The downed champion was then cashed in on by Seth Rollins, who hit a Curb Stomp for good measure to pin the champion and win the title to nuclear heat. Bryan was set to try and regain the belt in an Extreme Rules match, but Seth wouldn't allow the GOAT to have much of a chance, as J&J Security jumped Bryan before the match, beating him down as Rollins made his entrance. Rollins toyed with the former champion briefly, before Bryan managed to nearly catch Rollins with the LeBell Lock. Shaken, Rollins was more deliberate and eventually hit a Curb Stomp onto some steel steps to end the match. Bryan was then taken away on an ambulance, selling his injuries.
*John Cena d. Rusev w/Lana in a Last Man Standing Match to Retain the United States Title After finally ending Rusev's reign of terror as US Champion, John Cena was set to defend the US Title against the Russian once more, this time in a Last Man Standing Match. The two resumed their Wrestlemania contest, beating each other from pillar to post, before Cena was able to finally put Rusev away by hitting an Attitude Adjustment off the entry ramp and into a production table in the bit below, causing sparks to fly from the electrical equipment. Rusev failed to answer the 10 count administered by the referee, giving Big Match John the win to end the show.

NXT Takeover: No Reservations May 3, 2015 Full Sail University Winter Park, FL
*Finn Balor d. Kallisto by Pinfall in a Tiebreaker Match of Block A of the Warrior Cup The 2nd Annual Warrior Cup had ended up with a tie between Finn Balor and Kallisto in Block A of the tournament, necessitating this tie breaker match between the two with the winner going on to meet the winner of Block B, Baron Corbin. In a surprisingly technical match, Balor defeated the Luchadore with a Coup de Grace.
*The Revival [Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder] & American Alpha [Chad Gable & Jason Jordan] Wrestled to a Time Limit Draw Two of the younger top teams fought in a match in which they jockeyed for position in the tag title ranks. Neither team could gain a true advantage over the other, wrestling each other in a stellar match for 20 minutes before having to settle for a Time Limit Draw. After the match, the NXT crowd cheered both teams for a job well done.
*Tyler Breeze d. Tye Dillinger by Pinfall to Win the NXT North American Title The Perfect 10, Tye Dillinger, had taken to calling himself the greatest NXT North American Champion in history. This raised the annoyance of two time champion Tyler Breeze, who proceeded to challenge Dillinger for the title. In a bit of a surprise, Breeze hit the Unprettier to pick up the win and his third North American championship.
*Sasha Banks d. Becky Lynch by Submission to Retain the NXT Women's Title In a standard Submissions only match, Sasha Banks was able to retain the NXT Women's Title after locking Becky Lynch in the Banks Statement. After the match, the Boss refused to release the hold, only for Lynch to be saved by Bayley who chased Banks out of the ring.
*Finn Balor d. Baron Corbin by Pinfall to Win the 2015 Warrior Cup In the finals of the Warrior Cup, Finn Balor managed to win his 2nd match of the night and defeat the Lone Wolf of NXT with a Coup de Grace following three successive Sling Blades.
*Kevin Owens d. Sami Zayn by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Championship The war between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn had continued to build, culminating in this No Disqualification match between the two former best friends. Despite his best efforts, Sami was unable to wrestle the NXT championship away from Owens, who put down Zayn following two straight Pop Up Powerbombs. After the match, it looked like Owens would continue his assault on Zayn, when he was confronted by the debuting Samoa Joe. The two titans stared down each other to close the show.

WWE Payback May 17, 2015 Royal Farms Arena Baltimore, MD
*The Miz d. Adrian Neville by Pinfall Former NXT Champion Adrian Neville had made his way to the main roster in the previous few months, and had been enjoying a series of wins on both Raw and Smackdown. On an episode of Miz TV, Neville was interviewed by The Miz, who decried him as a "flippy flash in the pan", resulting in Neville simply laying out Miz with a single punch. This led to the High-Flyer and the A-Lister fighting it out at Payback, with Neville easily outclassing the veteran Miz with his high-risk offense. Miz turned the tables though after one of Neville's cross body blocks missed, and after a lengthy back and forth, rolled up Neville from behind and used the nearby ropes for added leverage to get the cheap pin and win.
*Roman Reigns d. Cody w/Brandi Stiles by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title The new and improved Cody tried to wrestle away the IC Title from Roman Reigns, alleging that Roman should have never been crowned champion due to the fact that Cody wasn't the man pinned in the match. He cemented this point by pinning Roman in a six man tag match on Raw. Cody's image consultant Brandi Stiles attempted to distract Roman early in the match, giving Cody a brief run of advantage. When Cody went for the Cross Rhodes though, Roman was able to easily power out and go on a run of powerful offensive moves, eventually hitting a Spear for the win. During Reigns' celebration though, the lights flickered and the Wyatt Family logo displayed briefly on the Titantron, leaving the Big Dog concerned for a time.
*The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Big E] w/Xavier Woods d. The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] by Pinfall to Win the #1 Contendership to the WWE World Tag Team Titles The New Day continued their run of recent success, taking on the Usos for a future shot at the World Tag Team champions (who were at ringside with their manager, Kevin Sullivan, on guest commentary). The combination of Kofi Kingston and Big E were able to overcome the Usos after hitting the Midnight Hour on Jey. After the match though, all three members of the New Day were taken out by the Ascension, with the group laying out Woods in particular with the Fall of Man.
*The Big Show & Sheamus w/Triple H d. Randy Orton & Sting by Pinfall After falling out of favor with the Authority, Randy Orton looked to try and gain some measure of revenge against Sheamus and The Big Show. To the surprise of many, Orton teamed with another anti-Authority superstar in his Wrestlemania 31 opponent Sting. Despite the announcers thinking Orton would turn on Sting, the two formed a decent team together. However, that didn't stop Sheamus and The Big Show from picking up the win, when Triple H interfered on behalf of the Authority, dropping Orton with a Sledge Hammer and allowing Sheamus to pick up the pinfall victory with the Brogue Kick on Sting.
*Naomi d. Paige by Pinfall to Win the WWE Divas Championship In something of a surprise victory, Naomi was able to defeat Paige to win the Divas Championship, hitting the Anti-Diva with the Glowsault out of the corner to pick up the surprise win and become champion. However, after the match both Paige and Naomi were laid out by the Bella Twins and their heavy, Tamina Snuka.
*John Cena d. Luke Harper w/Erick Rowan by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title Since winning the US Title at Wrestlemania, John Cena had been issuing open challenges for anyone to come get a shot at the US Champion. At Payback, the challenge was answered by the Wyatt Family's Luke Harper, who was flanked by Erick Rowan. Harper fought hard against the champ, but Cena was able to duck his Discus Clothesline and hit Harper with an Attitude Adjustment to pick up the win and retain his title.
*Seth Rollins d. Dean Ambrose, Kane & Antonio Cesaro in a Fatal Fourway Match to Retain the WWE Championship Daniel Bryan was initially supposed to compete in this Fatal Fourway match for the WWE Championship, but injuries against the former champ caused him to have to bow out, with his spot being taken by his long time tag partner, Kane, who joined Dean Ambrose and Antonio Cesaro in challenging Seth Rollins. The champion bought his time and picked his spots, but this nearly cost him as the Big Red Machine went ballistic and hit several chokeslams, nearly picking up the upset win. As Cesaro and Ambrose took each other out, Rollins relied on interference from J&J Security to distract Kane long enough to hit him with the Pedigree to pick up the win and retain the title to close the show.

NXT Takeover: Unstoppable May 20, 2015 Full Sail University Winter Park, FL
*American Alpha [Chad Gable & Jason Jordan] & Hideo Itami d. The Revival [Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson] & Baron Corbin by Pinfall The teams of American Alpha and The Revival had continued their rivalry since their Time Limit Draw at the previous Takeover special, leading to this six man tag which also added Hideo Itami and Baron Corbin to the mix. Despite Corbin hitting Itami with the End of Days (only being saved by a diving Gable off the top rope), American Alpha were able to go one up on The Revival by hitting Dash Wilder with the Grand Amplitude to pick up the win.
*Kallisto d. Tyler Breeze by Pinfall to Win the NXT North American Title With the breakup of the Lucha Dragons tag team, Kallisto tried to continue his climb in the singles ranks of NXT. The luchadore took on Prince Pretty in Tyler Breeze, and in something of an upset became the new North American Champion when he hit Breeze with the Salida del Sol.
*Bayley d. Dana Brooke by Pinfall to Earn a Shot at the NXT Women's Championship In a standard women's match, with NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks watching at ringside, Bayley took on Dana Brooke to earn a shot at the Boss' Women's Title. Bayley was able to beat Brooke after hitting her with the Bayley to Belly Suplex. However, after the match, when Banks offered her hand in sportsmanship towards her new challenger, Banks attacked Bayley and then locked her in the Banks Statement, seemingly hurting the Hugger's arm in the process.
*Enzo Amore & Big Cass w/Carmella d. The Vaudevillains [Aiden English & Simon Gotch] by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Tag Team Titles Despite the debut of a new valet in Lady Blue Pants to counter Enzo Amore's girlfriend Carmella at ringside, The Vaudevillains were unable to regain the NXT Tag Team Championships, as Amore pinned English following the How Ya Doin?
*Samoa Joe d. Sami Zayn by Knockout to Win a Shot at the NXT Championship Samoa Joe had debuted the previous Takeover special, seemingly to save Sami Zayn from a beatdown at the hands of NXT Champion Kevin Owens. In reality however the former TNA star was only there to try and claim the NXT Championship for himself. He took on Zayn in a #1 contender's match, eventually winning the match by choking out Zayn with the Coquina Clutch.
*Kevin Owens d. Finn Balor by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Championship Finn Balor, the winner of the 2015 Warrior Cup, had earned a shot at NXT Champion Kevin Owens (who was also concerned with his growing main roster feud against John Cena) as a result of winning that tournament. After a long back and forth matchup, Balor appeared close to winning when Samoa Joe made his way to ringside to view his potential future opponent. The momentary distraction allowed Owens enough time to roll out of the way when Balor tried to hit the Coup de Grace, leading to Owens eventually hitting a Pop Up Powerbomb for the victory and title retention.

*The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods] w/Big E d. The Ascension [Konnor & Viktor] w/Kevin Sullivan, The Prime Time Players [Titus O'Neil & Darren Young], Los Matadores [Diego & Fernando], The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] & TruthRyder [R-Truth & Zack Ryder] in an Elimination Chamber Match to Win the WWE World Tag Team Titles For the first time the tag team titles were to be determined inside the Elimination Chamber, with the dominant Ascension being forced to put the belts on the line against 5 other teams in the unforgiving structure. The only benefit to the Champions were that they didn't start, with the combinations of Zack Ryder & R-Truth starting against The New Day. The Ascension came in last and tried to clean house, but were gained up on by all the other teams, to the point where they were the first team to be technically eliminated. In the end it came down to The New Day and The Usos, with Kingston hitting Jimmy with a Trouble in Paradise while Xavier Woods followed up with a Limit Break Elbow to pick up the win and give the trio the tag titles. - TruthRyder and The New Day entered at numbers 1 and 2 respectively. - Los Matadores entered at number 3. - The Usos entered at number 4 - The Prime Time Players entered at number 5 - The Ascension entered at number 6 - The Usos d. The Ascension by Pinfall - The New Days d. TruthRyder by Pinfall - The Prime Time Players d. Los Matadores by Pinfall - The New Day d. The Prime Time Players by Pinfall - The New Day d. The Usos by Pinfall Winners: The New Day
*Antonio Cesaro d. Dean Ambrose by Pinfall Following their interactions the previous month, Antonio Cesaro and Dean Ambrose faced off in this one on one match. The former Shield member took advantage early on, but Cesaro caught Ambrose in his Giant Swing, turning the tide. In the end Ambrose tried to hit the Paradigm Shift, only for Cesaro to fight out and deliver several stiff European Uppercuts before delivering a Zurich Bomb to Ambrose for the victory.
*Nikka Bella w/Brie Bella d. Naomi by Pinfall to Win the Divas Championship After surprisingly defeating Paige the previous month, Naomi was set to defend the Divas Championship against former champion Nikki Bella. On an episode of Raw, Nikki managed to defeat Naomi in a tag match, allowing her to pick the special guest referee for the match, with Nikki choosing Paige to the surprise of many. Paige, despite her hatred of the Bellas, wanted revenge on Naomi as well, and so called the match largely down the middle. In the end, an argument between Paige and Naomi ended up with Nikki rolling up Naomi from behind, holding the tights to get the win and regain the Divas Title.
*Kevin Owens d. John Cena by Pinfall in a Non-Title Match During one of John Cena's US Title Open Challenges, he was confronted by NXT Champion Kevin Owens, who came out and said that he didn't need to challenge Cena for the US Title, seeing as how he was already a champion. He then cheap shotted Cena and delivered a Pop Up Powerbomb to him. The two met in a one on one match that was surprisingly highly contested. In the end, many fans were shocked when Owens caught Cena with another Pop-Up Powerbomb and pinned him to earn the huge upset victory.
*Sting d. Sheamus by Submission The previous month Sting had lost a tag match due to the actions of Sheamus, leading to this one on one meeting between the Icon and the Celtic Warrior. Despite Sheamus having the youth and strength advantage over the veteran, Sting was able to rope-a-dope his way to a victory, wearing out the Irishman and then locking in a Scorpion Deathlock after hitting a Stinger Splash in the corner to secure the submission victory.
*Randy Orton d. Seth Rollins by Disqualification [Rollins Retains the WWE Championship] The Viper Randy Orton continued his feud with his former Authority teammates, setting his sights on taking out the Crown Jewel of the faction in WWE Champion Seth Rollins. Orton had a counter for most of Rollins' trademark offense, and seemingly had the match won after countering a Curb Stomp into an RKO out of nowhere. However, before the referee could make the three count, Triple H got up from commentary and pulled the referee out of the ring, resulting in a disqualification victory for Orton but allowing Seth to keep the title.
*Roman Reigns d. Bray Wyatt, The Miz, Damien Sandow, Adrian Neville & Cody w/Brandi Stiles in an Elimination Chamber Match to Retain the Intercontinental Championship With the WWE Championship being defended elsewhere, Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns was tasked with defending the Intercontinental Title inside the Elimination Chamber, facing off against Adrian Neville, Cody, Damien Sandow and The Miz. Luke Harper was also originally set to compete in the Chamber, however his spot was "paid as tribute" to the leader of the Wyatt Family in Bray Wyatt. In the end the match would come down to Bray and Roman, with both men taking the others best shots for the duration of the match. In the end, Roman actually speared Bray through the steel door entrance of the Chamber, ending up outside the chamber. Not knowing what else to do, the referee counted the fall, giving the win to Roman Reigns in somewhat controversial fashion to close the show. - The Miz and Damien Sandow entered the match at numbers 1 and 2 respectively. - Roman Reigns entered the match at number 3. - Cody entered the match at number 4. - Adrian Neville entered the match at number 5. - Bray Wyatt entered the match at number 6. - The Miz d. Damien Sandow by Pinfall - Roman Reigns d. The Miz by Pinfall - Cody d. Adrian Neville by Pinfall - Bray Wyatt d. Cody by Pinfall - Roman Reigns d. Bray Wyatt by Pinfall Winner: Roman Reigns

WWE Money in the Bank June 14, 2015 Nationwide Arena Columbus, OH
*Rusev d. Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, Adrian Neville, Wade Barrett, Antonio Cesaro, The Miz & Sheamus in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match The annual Money in the Bank ladder match featured the usual contingent of old and new stars, all vying for a guaranteed title shot anytime they wanted. Adrian Neville took control of the match early on with several high flying moves off the ladder that amazed the crowd, but an attempted Red Arrow through a table to the Miz resulted in Neville crashing and burning, effectively taking him out of the match. Miz, Cesaro and Barrett all rushed for the briefcase towards the end of the match, only to be taken out by Sheamus knocking the ladder over to the outside. Sheamus and Ziggler took each other out, while Rusev managed to outlast Ambrose and climb the ladder, grabbing the briefcase and becoming Mr. Money in the Bank.
*The Big Show d. R-Truth by Pinfall On an episode of Raw, the comedic shenanigans of R-Truth had cost Authority member The Big Show a chance at qualifying for the Money in the Bank briefcase. The Giant made short work of R-Truth in this match for some degree of Retribution, knocking him out with the Right Hand of Doom for the victory.
*The Bella Twins [Nikki & Brie Bella] d. Naomi & Paige by Pinfall in a Winner Gets the Title Match [Brie Bella Wins Divas Title] This unique tag match saw Nikki Bella's Divas Title on the line in which the Diva who scored the fall would become the new Divas Champion. The issues between Naomi and Paige played a role in costing them a shot at the title, but when Nikki looked like she would get the win after hitting Naomi with a Rack Attack, Brie suddenly turned on her sister and pinned Naomi instead (taking advantage of "Twin Magic") and won the Divas Title for herself, much to Nikki's consternation.
*The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Big E] w/Xavier Woods d. The Prime Time Players [Titus O'Neil & Darren Young] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles The New Day continued their run of tag team dominance with a title defense against The Prime Time Players, who won a #1 contenders match on Smackdown to earn the shot. Despite O'Neil and Young coming close to pinning Kingston, the numbers game of the New Day played in, as Xavier Woods' distraction on the outside allowed the champions to hit the Midnight Hour and pick up the win. After the match though, all three members of the New Day were attacked by The Ascension and their manager Kevin Sullivan, as they laid out the champions with the Fall of Man and steel chair shots.
*Roman Reigns d. Erick Rowan w/Bray Wyatt by Disqualification to Retain the Intercontinental Title Following Roman Reigns' controversial title retention the previous month at Elimination Chamber, Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family had started to target the Big Dog and his IC Title. Wyatt chose one of his followers, Erick Rowan, to challenge for the belt at Money in the Bank. Reigns had little difficulty with Rowan, and looked to finish him with the Spear, when he was suddenly attacked by the Black Sheep of the Wyatt Family, Braun Strowman. Strowman and Wyatt then laid out Reigns, who was eventually saved by his former Shield Teammate Dean Ambrose, before more damage could be done, picking up the win via disqualification.
*John Cena d. Kevin Owens by Pinfall in a Non-Title Match After losing in surprising fashion the previous month, John Cena challenged Kevin Owens to a rematch at Money in the Bank, enticing the Prizefighter with a huge payday for the possibility of knocking off John Cena a second time. Though the US Title was once again not on the line (nor was Owens' NXT Championship), the two fought hard for little more than pride. Owens looked like he would pick up the win again with a Pop-up Powerbomb, but Cena was able to kick out at two and a half. As Owens argued with the referee, Cena got to his feet and caught Owens with an Attitude Adjustment, following up with a second AA immediately afterwards to pick up the win and even the score with KO.
*Seth Rollins d. Randy Orton in a Ladder Match to Retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Randy Orton challenged Seth Rollins to a rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, something that the Architect initially denied. It was only after Orton stole the WWE Title belt and threatened to toss it in a river on an episode of Raw that Rollins relented and granted Orton's request (to the annoyance of the Authority). Orton later defeated The Big Show in a match on Smackdown (thanks to R-Truth) to get to choose the stipulation for the match, choosing a Ladder Match for the title match. Rollins and Orton each fought for the belt and came close to winning on numerous occasions, with Orton coming the closest after hitting an RKO off the top of a ladder. Rollins' allies in the Authority in Sheamus and The Big Show came out to aide Orton, only for Orton to be saved by Sting. However Sting was taken out by a sledge hammer shot from Triple H, buying Rollins enough time to climb the ladder and pick up the victory, retaining the title.

WWE International Series: The Rising Sun July 4, 2015 Ryogoku Kokugikan Tokyo, Japan
*Chris Jericho d. Antonio Cesaro by Submission The first WWE broadcast live event from Japan saw Chris Jericho make a return to the promotion, taking on former IC Champion Antonio Cesaro. In a stellar contest between the two, Jericho was able to hit a Codebreaker counter out of the Zurich Bomb before following up with the Walls of Jericho to get the submission victory over the Swiss Superman.
*Brie Bella d. Paige by Disqualification to Retain the Divas Championship Unlikely Divas Champion Brie Bella faced off against former champion Paige in this match, and was without her sister (whom she had screwed out of the title at Money in the Bank), seemingly giving Paige the advantage. Before the Anti-Diva could defeat Bella however, Brie pulled out some brass knuckles and KO'ed Paige, resulting in a disqualification loss.
*John Cena d. Hideo Itami by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title John Cena brought his US title Open Challenge to Japan, and took on Japanese NXT star Hideo Itami in a good matchup between the two. Despite the hometown crowd, Itami was unable to pull out the victory against Cena, who won after hitting an Attitude Adjustment off the top rope.
*Randy Orton d. The Big Show by Pinfall In a continuation of the feud between Randy Orton and the Authority, The Viper defeated the Big Show after managing to chop the big man down to size with attacks to the knees, eventually hitting an RKO for the win.
*Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman d. Rusev w/Lana by Pinfall One of the selling points of this live event was the return of Brock Lesnar to Japan, where he had briefly competed in between his stints with the WWE. Against former United States Champion Rusev, Lesnar was able to power through the Bulgarian's hard hitting attacks, eventually pinning him following an F5.
*Finn Balor d. Kevin Owens by Pinfall to Win the NXT Championship Finn Balor had debuted his "Demon" persona on an episode of NXT in recent weeks, leading to this persona challenging Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship. With a partisan Japanese crowd behind him, Balor eventually hit Owens with the Coup de Grace and picked up the win, taking the NXT Title.
*Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns d. Seth Rollins & Sheamus by Pinfall Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns paused their growing feud with the Wyatt Family to take on Authority members Seth Rollins and Sheamus in this tag team main event. In the match, Reigns hit Sheamus with a Spear in order to pick up the win for his team.
