WWE Survivor Series November 22, 2015 Phillips Arena Atlanta, GA
*Titus O'Neil d. Alberto del Rio by Pinfall to Win the United States Title The night after Hell in a Cell, Alberto del Rio had returned and answered John Cena's Open US Title challenge. Thanks to interference from Cody, del Rio captured his 4th US Title. Since Cena was otherwise predisposed in a Survivor Series match, a 12 man battle royal was held on Smackdown to determine del Rio's challenger, which was won by Titus O'Neil (last eliminating his tag partner Darren Young, effectively breaking up their team). Del Rio dismissed the former tag team champion out of hand, at least until a quick powerslam nearly got him pinned. Del Rio then worked over the arm in an effort to set up the Cross Armbreaker, attempting to lock it in. O'Neil powered his way back to his feet though and powerbombed del Rio to the ground, before hitting a series of lariats followed by a reverse brainbuster for the win to score the US Title.
*Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Naomi, Summer Rae & Emma d. Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Alicia Fox & Tamina Snuka in a Survivor Series Match - Nikki Bella was Counted Out - Alicia Fox d. Summer Rae by Pinfall - Natalya d. Emma by Submission - Sasha Banks d. Alicia Fox by Pinfall - Naomi d. Tamina Snuka by Pinfall - Brie Bella d. Naomi by Submission - Becky Lynch d. *The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley] d. The Ascension [Konnor & Viktor] w/Kevin Sullivan by Pinfall to Retain the World Tag Team Titles The feud between The Ascension and The Dudley Boyz reached its climax as the former tag team champions challenged the legendary Dudleys to a Street Fight to try and regain their belts. All sorts of plunder was used in the match, including tables, 2x4's, even a kitchen sink. In the end, Kevin Sullivan was sent packing by being thrown into a dumpster and tossed off a loading dock, while Konnor was hit with a 3-D through a table, giving the Dudleys the win and retaining their titles.
*Charlotte Flair w/Ric Flair d. Paige in an I Quit Match to Retain the WWE Divas Championship The feud between Charlotte Flair and Paige increased in intensity following their indecisive battle the previous month, especially when Ric Flair appeared at his daughter's side to offer moral support, only to be attacked by Paige with a low blow. The match was made an I Quit Match to ensure that there would be a winner. In a particularly brutal affair (for a women's match), Charlotte eventually got the Anti-Diva to say I Quit after locking her in a Figure 8 Leglock for long enough, putting their rivalry to bed.
*Team Cena [John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Big E & Dean Ambrose] w/Xavier Woods d. Team Cody [Cody, Wade Barrett, Sheamus, The Miz & Kevin Owens] in a Survivor Series Match The feud between John Cena and Cody wasn't settled at Hell in a Cell, as Cody attacked Cena the following night and cost him the United States Championship. Thus both men gathered five man Survivor Series teams together for this traditional Survivor Series encounter. - Kevin Owens d. Kofi Kingston by Pinfall - John Cena d. Wade Barrett by Submission - Big E d. The Miz by Pinfall - Kevin Owens d. Big E by Pinfall - Sheamus d. Dolph Ziggler by Pinfall - Dean Ambrose d. Sheamus by Pinfall - Cody d. Dean Ambrose by Pinfall - John Cena d. Cody by Submission - John Cena d. Kevin Owens by Pinfall Sole Survivor: John Cena
*Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman d. Rusev w/Lana, Roman Reigns, The Big Show, Adrian Neville & Chris Jericho in a 6-Pack Challenge Match to Win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship After Rusev cashed in on Seth Rollins the previous month at Hell in a Cell, a 6-Pack Challenge was set for Survivor Series, with Rollins, Brock Lesnar and Rusev automatically entered, and Roman Reigns, The Big Show and Chris Jericho qualifying for the match. Unfortunately, Rollins suffered a knee injury at a house show, removing him from the match. Adrian Neville won a spot in a Fatal Fourway to qualify for the match. The match was chaotic, with each man having a chance of winning at various points. The crowd became interested when Reigns and Lesnar briefly exchanged glances, but their interactions were limited by the others in the match. In the end Rusev locked Neville in the Grozny Clutch, seemingly set to win, only to be taken out by Chris Jericho. Jericho then got Speared by Reigns, only for the IC Champion to be hit with a Right Hand of Doom from The Big Show. Lesnar then monumentally lifted the Big Show and hit him with an F-5 to pick up the pinfall victory and regain the WWE Championship.
*The Undertaker w/Kane & Sting d. Bray Wyatt w/Luke Harper, Erick Rowan & Braun Strowman in a Buried Alive Match The Undertaker had returned at Hell in a Cell, attacking the man who had cost him his undefeated streak at Wrestlemania inside the Cell and costing him the Intercontinental Title. This led Wyatt to challenge the Phenom to a Buried Alive match at what would be the 25th anniversary of the Undertaker's debut in the WWE. To offset the appearance of the Wyatt Family, The Undertaker enlisted his brother Kane and old rival Sting to stand in his corner against Wyatt. The two forces of darkness battled up and down the aisleway to the awaiting grave, with Wyatt nearly getting Undertaker in after hitting Sister Abigail's Kiss. However Wyatt gloated too much, causing the Undertaker to sit up and hit him with a Tombstone on the concrete. As Kane and Sting fended off the Wyatt's, Undertaker lifted Bray and chokeslammed him into the grave before dumping a mountain of dirt onto the grave, winning the match. Undertaker then saluted the crowd as the Wyatt Family slinked off into the shadows without their leader to close the show.

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs December 13, 2015 TD Garden Boston, MA
*Titus O'Neil d. Wade Barrett in a Tables Match to Retain the WWE United States Title After winning the United States Championship, Titus O'Neil entered into a brief feud with Wade Barrett over the title, leading to a Tables Match at TLC for the title. Barrett controlled the early portion of the match, tossing O'Neil around the ring, but was unable to put him through a table despite his best efforts. In the end Barrett went for the Wasteland, but O'Neil was able to fight out of the move and catch Barrett off guard with a spinebuster, putting him through a table for the surprise victory. After the match though, O'Neil was floored from behind by Barrett, who drilled him with the Bullhammer.
*Kallisto d. Alberto del Rio by Pinfall In an impromptu match, former NXT North American Champion Kallisto took on Alberto del Rio after the two had a run-in during the countdown show to TLC. Del Rio was overconfident to a fault, leading to Kallisto catching him off guard and hitting him with a Solida del Sol to pick up the surprise quick victory over the former WWE Champion.
*Chris Jericho d. Rusev w/Lana by Pinfall At the Survivor Series, Rusev was close to retaining the WWE Title in the 6-Pack Challenge only to be thwarted by Chris Jericho. The former champion blamed Y2J exclusively, leading to this grudge match. Despite Rusev's impressive strength overwhelming Jericho in the early going, the crafty veteran hit several high flying moves to keep Rusev off balance, eventually catching him with the Codebreaker followed by a spinning elbow smash to the back of the head that caught him off guard. Jericho then hit the Lionsault for the pinfall victory.
*The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods] d. The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley], The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] & The Ascension [Konnor & Viktor] w/Kevin Sullivan in a Fatal Fourway to Win the WWE World Tag Team Titles The Dudley Boyz defended the World Tag Team Titles against three other teams in this Fatal Fourway match, continuing their feud with The Ascension as well as facing The New Day and The Usos. The Dudleys were taken out early on, as all three of the other teams beat down the legends and put them both through tables before fighting amongst themselves. The Usos hit a Double Splash on Konnor and Viktor, only for the Dudleys to come back and break up the pin. In the end, Kofi caught Bubba with a Trouble in Paradise after they hit Jimmy Uso with a 3-D, picking up the pin on the Dudley Boyz to regain the World Tag Team Titles for the New Day.
*Sasha Banks d. Paige by Submission in a Chairs Match In a number one contenders match for the Divas Title, Sasha Banks took on Paige to compete for a chance to challenge Charlotte Flair again. Paige utilized the Chairs more liberally than did The Boss, but her overreliance on the weapon backfired as she attempted to swing a chair at Banks, only for Sasha to duck, causing the chair to bounce off the ropes and smack Paige back in the face. Sasha then hit a Backstabber before rolling into a Banks Statement, picking up the submission victory afterwards.
*Braun Strowman w/Luke Harper & Erick Rowan d. Dolph Ziggler by Pinfall With Bray Wyatt having disappeared following his loss to the Undertaker at Survivor Series, the Wyatt Family was left to their own devices and left to flounder to some degree. This was especially true for the Monster Amongst Men, Braun Strowman, as the devastating Strowman became particularly vicious in his matches. He took on Dolph Ziggler in a standard match after being disqualified against him in a match on Raw, and Strowman ran through him with ease, getting the win with a Running Powerslam.
*Charlotte Flair w/Ric Flair d. Naomi by Submission to Retain the Divas Championship Sasha Banks came back out to ringside to watch this match, as she had earned the #1 contendership earlier in the night. In a standard title defense, Charlotte Flair defeated Naomi by Submission, locking her in the Figure 8 with her father watching on. After the match, Sasha got in the ring to shake Charlotte's hand for their future bout, which Charlotte took, before blindsiding Sasha with a cheap shot clothesline and then hitting her with the Natural Selection, leaving to a chorus of boos.
*Kevin Owens d. Big E by Pinfall Following the Survivor Series, the New Day had tried to turn Kevin Owens' "frown upside down," much to the Prizefighter's annoyance. After making clear he didn't want their type of "help" Owens took on Big E to try and beat the lesson into them. In a good hoss fight, Big E nearly scored the upset with the Big Ending, only for Owens to kick out. KO then caught Big E with a Pop Up Powerbomb out of nowhere to pick up the surprisingly hard fought win.
*Dean Ambrose d. Roman Reigns in a TLC Match to Win the Intercontinental Championship The night after Survivor Series, Dean Ambrose teamed with Roman Reigns to take on The Ascension in a #1 contenders match for the tag team titles, only for Ambrose to turn on Reigns and abandon him mid match. He then made clear that he was tired of hiding in Roman's shadow and being his "security blanket", and that he was coming for the Intercontinental Title. In this hard fought TLC match, Ambrose and Reigns pulled out all the stops, including Reigns jumping from one ladder to Spear Ambrose off of another ladder to the ground. In the end, Ambrose buried Reigns under a pile of chairs and ladders after delivering a Paradigm Shift through the announce table, quickly climbing up another ladder to retrieve the IC Title hanging above the ring in order to win the championship to close the show.

NXT Takeover: London December 16, 2015 The SSE Arena London, England
*The Hype Bros [Mojo Rawley & Zack Ryder] d. Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy by Pinfall In a standard tag team match, Zack Ryder and his newfound tag partner Mojo Rawley continued the level of success they had together by defeating the duo of Blake and Murphy, after Ryder hit a Ruff Ryder on Blake to pick up the win.
*Asuka d. Carmella by Submission Asuka continued her undefeated streak, this time taking on Carmella in a rare one on one appearance for the Jersey Princess. Asuka locked in the Rising Sun on Carmella to pick up the submission victory.
*American Alpha [Jason Jordan & Chad Gable] d. Enzo Amore & Big Cass by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Tag Team Titles WITH DIY still injured and The Revival serving a suspension for their actions at Takeover Atlanta, American Alpha was set to defend the NXT Tag Team Titles against former champions Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Despite the best efforts of the former champions, American Alpha pulled off the win by hitting the Grand Amplitude on Amore to retain the titles.
*Apollo Crews d. Aiden English w/Simon Gotch by Pinfall to Retain the NXT North American Title NXT North American Champion Apollo Crews continued his run of dominance as well, taking out the Baritone of Brawling in Aiden English with the Crews Control Powerbomb to retain the North American title.
*Finn Balor d. Baron Corbin by Pinfall After losing the NXT Championship to Samoa Joe the previous month, Finn Balor looked to reestablish himself as a championship contender, taking on former two time NXT Champion Baron Corbin. Finn came out as his Demon persona, overwhelming the Lone Wolf and finishing him off with two Coup de Grace's from the top rope in order to send a message.
*Bayley d. Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing Match to Retain the NXT Women's Championship As the feud between Bayley and Nia Jax continued following Takeover Atlanta, the two women engaged in a Last Woman Standing match for the NXT Women's Title. Despite her strength and power advantage, Nia Jax was outsmarted by Bayley, who caused the Irresistible Force to miss a dive off the stage through a table. Bayley then pinned Jax underneath a ladder to prevent her from getting to her feet, picking up the win through her intelligence.
*Samoa Joe d. Sami Zayn by Knockout to Retain the NXT Championship Sami Zayn had returned from injury and had immediately tried to regain the NXT Championship by taking on Samoa Joe. Despite coming close to dethroning the Samoan Submission Specialist, Joe caught Zayn in the Coquina Clutch and choked out the babyface, securing the win via Knockout. After the match, Joe looked to send a message by refusing to let go of the hold, causing Finn Balor to come running out and making the save for Sami to close the show.

WWE Royal Rumble January 24, 2016 Amway Center Orlando, FL
*Dean Ambrose d. Kallisto by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Championship The former NXT North American Champion had surprised many on the first episode of Smackdown in the new year, defeating Dean Ambrose in a non-title match cleanly in the middle of the ring. He then duplicated this feat during a six man tag on Raw the following week, leading to a title match at the Royal Rumble. Kallisto's high flying offense was hard for the Lunatic Fringer to deal with, but eventually Ambrose caught Kallisto on a springboard move with a huge lariat that nearly took his head off. Ambrose then hit a Paradigm Shift in the center of the ring to get the win and retain his title.
*Macho Mandow d. Cody by Pinfall Former World Heavyweight Champion Damien Sandow had seemingly lost his mind while being mired in a months long losing streak, beginning to call himself "Macho Mandow" and portraying himself as an "homage" to the late WWE Hall of Famer "Macho Man" Randy Savage. He tried to get Cody to become a parody of Hulk Hogan, saying "Codymania" could run wild, but Cody refused and attacked his former tag partner. In this match though, the overconfident Cody was caught unawares, as Mandow's Macho Mannerisms eventually won him the day, as he hit a Top Rope Elbow to pick up the win.
*The New Day [Xavier Woods & Big E] d. The Ascension [Konnor & Viktor] w/Kevin Sullivan by Pinfall to Retain the WWE World Tag Team Titles The Ascension won a tag team gauntlet match on Raw to earn the right to challenge The New Day for the tag team titles. With Kofi Kingston in the rumble, Xavier Woods was called in to help Big E, and The Ascension tried to target him as the weak link. However Kevin Sullivan's attempted interference would backfire, as he inadvertantly hit Konnor with a title belt while the referee was down. This allowed Woods to hit Konnor with the Limit Break Elbow to pick up the win and retain the titles. After the match, The Ascension turned on their manager, hitting Sullivan with the Fall of Man and separating from him for good.
*Sasha Banks d. Charlotte Flair w/Ric Flair by Disqualification [Charlotte Retains the Divas Championship] After Sasha Banks had won a title shot at Charlotte Flair the previous month at TLC, the "Queen" had attacked the Boss and left her lying in the middle of the ring. The match between the two at the Rumble was reminiscent of their clashes in NXT, and Banks appeared close to ending Charlotte's run as champion. When Banks had Charlotte locked in the Banks Statement, however, Charlotte's father Ric pulled the referee out of the ring to stop him from counting the submission, resulting in a DQ and keeping the belt on his daughter.
*Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman d. Sting by Pinfall to Retain the WWE World Championship On the first Raw of 2016, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman had appeared, with Heyman issuing a challenge on behaf of his client to any contender whom he had never faced before to challenge for the title at the Royal Rumble. The challenge was answered by the Icon Sting, who attempted to win the WWE Title for the first time in his legendary career. Despite clearly being the underdog, Sting relied on veteran saavy to outsmart Brock and briefly outwrestle him, hitting him with several Stinger Splashes in a row before trying to turn him over into the Scorpion Deathlock. Lesnar was able to power out though and take control with several German suplexes, before hitting an F-5 to secure the win. After the match, Sting saluted the crowd and left his trademark bat in the ring, seemingly signaling the end of his run as an active competitor.
*Roman Reigns Won the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match The Royal Rumble match began with a bang as Chris Jericho (after eliminating Darren Young) was surprised by the debut of the Phenomenal AJ Styles at the #3 position. The two would spar throughout the match, as Styles eventually eliminated Jericho on his way to surviving almost all the way to the end, making it to the Final Four with Kevin Owens, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. The Rumble match eventually came down to the two former Shield members, who had a lengthy battle between the two of them. Eventually Ambrose tried to clothesline Reigns over the top, but wound up going over himself, with Reigns spilling to the floor just a split second after Ambrose's feet hit the floor. After some conversation, the referee's awarded the match to Reigns, who punched his ticket to the main event of Wrestlemania 32. After the match, Reigns was confronted by Lesnar, with both men staring each other down to end the show.

WWE Fastlane February 21, 2016 Quicken Loans Arena Cleveland, OH
*Y2AJ [AJ Styles & Chris Jericho d. The Ascension [Konnor & Viktor] by Pinfall After AJ Styles had debuted at the Royal Rumble, he had struck up a friendship/rivalry with Chris Jericho, with the former WWE Champion wanting to form a tag team together. The newly formed Y2AJ faced off against former World Tag Team Champions The Ascension, and quickly made their mark, as Styles was able to get the hot tag from Jericho and make short work of the former champs, pinning Konnor after hitting him with a Phenomenal Forearm.
*Braun Strowman d. Kane by Pinfall The monster amongst men took on the Big Red Machine in this battle of big men, and Kane was surprisingly overwhelmed by the wayward monster, as Strowman easily bested Kane with his running powerslam and continued his run of dominance.
*Wade Barrett d. Darren Young w/Bob Backlund by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title Former Prime Time Player Darren Young had cost his former partner Titus O'Neil the US Title in a match against Wade Barrett, and had then beaten O'Neil thanks to help from his "life coach" former WWE Champion Bob Backlund. This earned Young a shot at the new champion, with O'Neil watching from the commentary desk. Young and Barrett had a relatively even match, until Young got caught up jaw jacking with O'Neil at ringside. When he turned around, he walked right into the Bullhammer Elbow from the champion, which got Barrett the 1-2-3. After the match, Backlund began berating O'Neil and his family, causing Titus to get in the ring to confront him. However O'Neil was then attacked by Young, who locked the former champ in the Crossface Chickenwing and then left him lying.
*Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks d. Charlotte Flair & Tamina Snuka w/Ric Flair by Pinfall After Charlotte Flair only retained her title via disqualification at the Royal Rumble, the Queen of the Divas had said that Sasha Banks wouldn't receive another shot at the title unless she won a tag match at Fastlane. Sasha teamed with fellow NXT alum Becky Lynch against Charlotte and Tamina Snuka, with the latter controlling most of the match for her team. In the end, though, Charlotte's overconfidence cost her, as Becky Lynch grabbed Charlotte off of a Backstabber from Sasha and then hit her with a Uranagi Slam to pick up the pin over the Divas Champion.
*Kevin Owens d. The Big Show by Pinfall Kevin Owens had appeared on an episode of Raw and stated that he was growing tired of dealing with the lack of competition in WWE. His open challenge for this night was answered by the World's Largest Athlete, The Big Show, who nearly knocked out Owens with his Right Hand of Doom. Owens was surprisingly able to kick out, and Owens eventually managed to bodyslam the 500 pounder before hitting a Frogsplash from the top to pick up the win.
*The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Big E] d. The Wyatt Family [Erick Rowan & Luke Harper] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE World Tag Team Titles The Wyatt Family renewed their rivalry with The New Day, challenging them for the World Tag Team Titles after attacking them on an episode of Raw. The New Day however were able to take out the former Wyatt acolytes, who seemed adrift without the presence of their leader Bray Wyatt. Kingston and Big E had little difficulty pinning Harper after hitting him with the Midnight Hour for the win and title retention.
*The Undertaker d. Alberto del Rio by Pinfall On an episode of Raw, The Undertaker had appeared to dispel rumors of his impending retirement. However this brought out Mr. McMahon (who himself was "contemplating" retirement), who said that the Deadman needed to give up the ghost before he began embarrasing himself. After The Undertaker refused to retire, McMahon issued the ultimatum that the next match the Phenom lost would be the last one he would ever have in WWE. The first person to step up to the plate to try and take out The Undertaker was Alberto del Rio, who attacked The Undertaker the following week on Smackdown in a backstage segment. Del Rio worked over the arm of the Phenom, trying to set up his Cross Armbreaker, but it was for naught, as the Undertaker hit a Chokeslam and then a Tombstone Piledriver to pick up the win and continue his legendary career.
*Roman Reigns d. Dean Ambrose by Pinfall to Win the Intercontinental Title and Retain his Wrestlemania Title Shot After Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble match in controversial fashion, his former Shield Teammate Dean Ambrose came up with evidence that Reigns had actually hit the floor first, and that Ambrose should be the one who was going to Wrestlemania. Unmoved, Ambrose's claims were denied by Mr. McMahon. In the end, though, Ambrose would entice Reigns into putting up his Wrestlemania title shot in a match that was also for Ambrose's Intercontinental Title. In a highly competitive match, Ambrose nearly pulled out the win by hitting the Death Ryder on Reigns, but Roman was able to get his foot on the rope at the last minute. In the end, Reigns hit two Superman Punches and then hit a massive Spear to pick up the win and become a three time IC Champion to close out the show.

WWE International Series: Roadblock in Toronto March 12, 2016 Ricoh Coliseum Toronto, Ontario, Canada
*Titus O'Neil d. Darren Young w/Bob Backlund by Pinfall After a few months of feuding between the former Prime Time Players, they were finally set to meet one on one at this International event. Young attacked O'Neil before the bell rang, trying to gain an early advantage, and he worked over the head and neck area of his former tag team partner. However in the end Titus broke out of Young's attempt at the Crossface Chickenwing and was able to hit a sitout spinebuster to pick up the win to end the feud.
*The Miz d. Adrian Neville by Countout to Retain the Intercontinental Title The night after Fastlane, The Miz had earned his record tying 6th Intercontinental Title by defeating Roman Reigns (albeit with help from Brock Lesnar, who provided a distraction). However it appeared that The Miz's title reign would be short lived as he took on the high flyer Adrian Neville. Neville ran circles around The Miz, and seemed poised to finish off the A-Lister with a Red Arrow. Miz was able to roll out of the way though, causing Neville to dive on Miz to the outside. Unfortunately Neville landed awkwardly on the outside, rolling his ankle and was seemingly legitimately hurt. Miz rolled back into the ring and accepted the countout win as Neville was helped to the back by officials.
*The Revival [Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder] d. American Alpha [Jason Jordan & Chad Gable] by Pinfall to Win the NXT Tag Team Titles NXT General Manager William Regal had managed to secure a showcase spot for his NXT stars on a WWE Premium Live Event, giving the spot to an NXT Tag Team Title match between longtime rivals The Revival and American Alpha. After a highly athletic match between the two teams, The Revival took advantage of a ref bump to use the tag title belts to knock out Jason Jordan before hitting Chad Gable with the Shatter Machine to pick up the win and regain the titles. The top guys then looked to end Gable with their devastating Spike Piledriver, only to be chased off by the returning DIY, who came out of the crowd and cleared out the new champions.
*Charlotte Flair w/Ric Flair d. Becky Lynch by Submission to Retain the Divas Championship Charlotte Flair again used contractual shenanigans to ensure that Sasha Banks didn't get another shot at the WWE Divas Championship, stating that since it was Becky Lynch who won the fall at Fast Lane, then she would be the one who received the title shot. Flair obviously disregarded Lynch as a threat, underestimating her and nearly costing her the Divas Title. In the end, however, Ric Flair attempted to get involved, only for Sasha Banks to come down and stop him. The distraction however allowed Charlotte to clip Becky's knee and then lock in the Figure 8 to get the submission victory.
*The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Big E] w/Xavier Woods d. Y2AJ [AJ Styles & Chris Jericho] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE World Tag Team Titles After a couple of wins as a team, the duo of Chris Jericho and AJ Styles challenged the New Day for the World Tag Team Titles. The champions appeared a bit overwhelmed by this new super team, as Styles and Jericho nearly pulled off the win on several occasions. However, a brief miscommunication as Jericho hit Styles with a spinning back elbow stunned Styles, and gave an opening to Kofi Kingston to hit Jericho with the Trouble in Paradise to win the match. After the match, Styles helped Jericho to his feet, only for Y2J to turn on Styles and hit him with a Codebreaker in frustration.
*The Undertaker d. Wade Barrett by Pinfall in a Non-Title Match United States Champion Wade Barrett attempted to cement his legend by taking out the Undertaker, who was due to retire the next time he lost thanks to the edict of Mr. McMahon. Barrett gave it his best shot, hitting the Bullhammer Elbow right out of the gate and pummeling the Phenom afterwards. However Taker was able to survive the onslaught and eventually took control, catching Barrett with a Last Rider out of the corner for the pin. After the match though, the Undertaker was attacked with a baseball bat by Kevin Owens, who came out through the crowd and laid out the Deadman, staking his claim to be the next challenger on the Undertaker's Last Ride.
*Roman Reigns & Shane McMahon d. Triple H & Dean Ambrose by Pinfall The night after Fast Lane, Mr. McMahon had appeared on Raw to announce that he was taking a step back from running WWE, stating that he was turning over the reigns fully to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. This announcement however was met by the return of Shane McMahon, who had come back after several years to "reclaim his place in line," leading to feud between Shane and Triple H (as Stephanie's proxy) to who the leader of the company in the future would be. This combined with the feud between Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, who joined in a tag match as Reigns teamed with Shane and Ambrose with Triple H. Despite not having stepped into a ring in several years, Shane looked decent in the match, hitting Triple H with his own version of the Pedigree on the outside at one point. In the end, Reigns pinned Triple H after hitting him with a Spear to pick up the win for his team.
*Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman d. Sheamus by Pinfall to Retain the WWE World Heavyweight Title In order to showcase his abilities to his challenger, Brock Lesnar defended his WWE Championship against Sheamus in the main event of the evening. Despite eating a Brogue Kick early on in the match, Lesnar was never in much danger of losing, as he defeated Sheamus after a single F-5. After the match though, Lesnar and Reigns again got in each other's face, with a fight breaking out between the two and WWE officials struggling to separate them to close the show.

NXT Takeover: Dallas April 1, 2016 Kay Bailey Hitchison Convention Center Dallas, TX
*DIY [Johnny Gargano & Tommasso Ciampa] d. American Alpha [Chad Gable & Jason Jordan] & The Revival [Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder] to Win the NXT Tag Team Titles The returning DIY had stopped The Revival from trying to end the career of Chad Gable after they had defeated American Alpha for the tag team titles at Roadblock in March. This would lead to a triple threat match in the opening match of this Takeover for the NXT Tag Team Titles. After a highly athletic match, Gargano & Ciampa eventually secured the win after hitting Scott Dawson with the Meet in the Middle, a combo Knee Smash and Superkick, to pick up the tag titles.
*Austin Aries d. Buddy Murphy by Submission Former TNA star Austin Aries made his NXT debut at this event, taking on Buddy Murphy. In a fairly standard match, Aries was successful in his debut, getting Murphy to tap out to the Last Chancellry for the victory.
*Apollo Crews d. Elias Samson by Pinfall to Retain the NXT North American Title The self-professed "drifter" of NXT, Elias Samson, challenged Apollo Crews for the NXT North American Title. Despite Samson cheating before the match by smashing his guitar over the head of the champion, Crews continued his undefeated streak, earning the victory with the Crews Control powerbomb.
*Shinsuke Nakamura d. Sami Zayn by Pinfall Japanese superstar Shinsuke Nakamura had been announced as having signed with NXT back in January, to much hype and acclaim. His first official American match would be against former NXT Champion Sami Zayn, who seemed his equal in every way. Nakamura and Zayn wrestled a 20 minute, hard-hitting strong style match that the crowd ate up with every move. Nakamura eventually won the match after hitting the Bomaye for the win. After the match, Zayn and Nakamura shook hands as a sign of sportsmanship.
*Asuka d. Bayley by Submission to Win the NXT Women's Championship The undefeated Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka, finally got a match against Bayley for the NXT Women's Championship. The champion fought valiantly, trying to take down the undefeated challenger, but eventually Asuka was able to lock Bayley in the Rising Sun submission, getting Bayley to tap out and winning the NXT Women's Title.
*Finn Balor d. Samoa Joe in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match to Win the NXT Championship In a 2 out of 3 Falls match, the ongoing struggle between Samoa Joe and The Demon Finn Balor reached its apex. Despite adorning his demon persona, Balor still lost the first fall to Joe when the Samoan champion hit him with a musclebuster out of nowhere. Joe almost gained the second fall when he locked in the Coquina Clutch, but Balor was able to rebound off the corner to score a surprise pin to even the score. After several more minutes of back and forth, Balor finally hit Joe with a Coup de Grace to win the third and decisive fall, regaining the NXT Championship to close the show.
