NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day February 14, 2021 Bridgestone Arena Nashville, TN
*Karrion Kross w/Scarlett d. Damian Priest by Submission The nearly unstoppable Karrion Kross took on former North American Champion Damian Priest in a heavy hitting match that many saw as a test of who the most dominant force in NXT really was. Despite his best efforts, Priest was overwhelmed by the sheer physical onslaught that the Walking Apocalypse brought to the ring, and Kross was able to get a submission victory on the big Puerto Rican after locking in the Kross Jacket.
*MSK [Wes Lee & Nash Carter] d. Gallus [Mark & Joe Coffey] by Pinfall Two hot young tag teams were competing for a future NXT Tag Title shot as the Coffey Brothers (collectively known as Gallus) took on the high flying duo of MSK. Wes Lee and Nash Carter were able to use their speed to their advantage, taking out the more ground based Gallus with a variety of aerial moves, eventually hitting dueling flying body presses off the top rope to either member of Gallus and earning the pinfall victory.
*Ilya Dragunov d. Johnny Gargano w/Candace LeRae by Pinfall Despite their seemingly never ending feud, NXT mainstays Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa were dealing with the rise of Imperium as the dominant stable in NXT. The former NXT champion Gargano took on the "Mad Maestro of the Mat" in Ilya Dragunov, and was shockingly matched move for move by the Russian. In the end Gargano caught a Torpedo Moscow from Dragunov out of nowhere, who then finished off Gargano with an H-Bomb from the second rope to the surprise of everyone, as Dragunov scored the huge upset.
*Cameron Grimes, LA Knight & Bronson Reed d. Hit Row [Swerve Strickland, D-Rock & Ashantae Adonis] w/Top Dolla & B-Fab by Pinfall This match was originally billed as a North American Title match between the Venture Capitalist of NXT in Cameron Grimes and Swerve Strickland. This changed on the episode of NXT just before the Takeover, when Grimes attempted a "hostile takeover" of Hit Row, using his bodyguard Bronson Reed and "business partner" LA Knight to take over the record label. The ensuing brawl had NXT General Manager William Regal declare the match to now be a Six Man Tag. Despite Reed being neutralized by Top Dolla on the outside, the match ended when LA Knight caught D-Rock with a BFT neckbreaker, picking up the upset win.
*The Divine Miss Toni Storm w/Reginald d. Io Shirai by Pinfall to Win the NXT Women's Championship The Divine (and some might say delusional) Toni Storm took on the Genius of the Sky in Io Shirai for the NXT Women's Championship. The high flying Shirai ran circles around the would-be Diva of NXT, but Storm consistently stopped Shirai from hitting her by hiding behind her butler, Reginald. This continued until Shirai took out Reginald with a high cross body from the top, though in so doing she tweaked her knee, giving Storm an opening. Shirai eventually made a comeback, setting up Storm for the Moonsault, only for the referee to be distracted by Reginald. Storm took advantage, hitting Shirai with a high heel shoe thrown into her by Reginald behind the ref's back, before hitting her finisher the Close-Up for the pinfall victory, gaining the Women's Championship.
*Grizzled Young Veterans [Zack Gibson & James Drake] d. The Undisputed Era [Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly] & Imperium [Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci] to Win the NXT Tag Team Titles The Undisputed Era had regained the NXT Tag Team Titles in early January, defeating the Grizzled Young Veterans in the title match. A rematch had been scheduled for Vengeance Day, but was made into a Triple Threat match when former champions Imperium defeated Gibson and Drake on an episode of NXT en route to the special. This would not stop the former champions from regaining the titles though, as Drake was able to save his partner from a Hi-Lo from Fish and O'Reilly, rolling up Fish afterwards and scoring the shock pinfall to regain the titles.
*Gunther d. Tomasso Ciampa to Unify the International Championship and the NXT Championship Back in the fall International Champion and leader of Imperium GUNTHER had demanded more competition from the NXT roster. He decided to seek out that competition himself by challenging Tomasso Ciampa for the NXT Title, unifying it with his International Championship in the process. The Ring General and Ciampa had a hard hitting match, with Ciampa coming the closest of anyone to stopping GUNTHER's run of dominance. But the Austrian was more than a match for the two time champion, eventually hitting Ciampa with a Powerbomb and stacking him up for the victory to claim the NXT Title, as he and the rest of Imperium celebrated as the show went off the air.

WWE Elimination Chamber February 21, 2021 Delta Center Salt Lake City, UT
*Beth Phoenix d. Shayna Baszler, Nikki Cross, Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley & Carmella in an Elimination Chamber Match With Bianca Belair making clear her intentions to challenge Sasha Banks for the Women's World Championship at Wrestlemania 37, an Elimination Chamber match was set up to determine who the challenger to Charlotte Flair's Women's Championship would be on Raw. Things were made more interesting when Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix was added to the match as a last minute substitution for Lacey Evans, who had been removed from the chamber on account of her pregnancy. The two favorites going into the match though were easily Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler, both of whom started the match and fought almost exclusively against each other. In the end, the Hall of Famer would take advantage of their exhaustion, eliminating Ripley after Rhea had eliminated the Queen of Spades with a Glam Slam, surprising everyone by punching her ticket to Wrestlemania. After the match, Ripley snapped and hit the Glamazon with a Riptide twice as officials tried to calm her down following the loss. - Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley Entered at #1 and #2 respectively. - Carmella Entered at #3 - Beth Phoenix Entered at #4 - Nikki Cross Entered at #5 - Liv Morgan Entered at #6 - Liv Morgan d. Carmella by Pinfall - Shayna Baszler d. Nikki Cross by Submission - Beth Phoenix d. Liv Morgan by Pinfall - Rhea Ripley d. Shayna Baszler by Pinfall - Beth Phoenix d. Rhea Ripley by Pinfall Winner: Beth Phoenix
*Apollo Crews w/Omos d. Jeff Hardy by Pinfall Former Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews had undergone a radical gimmick change in recent weeks, embracing his heritage as "Nigerian royalty" and declaring himself the War Chief of WWE. Paired with this was a giant of a man known as the Nigerian Colossus, Omos. Against Jeff Hardy, Crews found a newfound ferocity that he had been lacking for years, eventually hitting Hardy with the Crews Control to pick up a relatively easy victory.
*King Corbin d. Ricochet by Pinfall to Win the United States Title Since winning the King of the Ring tournament, the rechristened "King Corbin" had been on a winning streak, targeting United States champion Ricochet en route to Elimination Chamber. The high flyer put up a hell of a fight, but Corbin eventually caught him off a springboard and countered into an End of Days out of nowhere, picking up the pin and the US Title. King Corbin then heavily celebrated his title victory after the match.
*The Usos d. Daniel Bryan & Cesaro by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles Following the Usos interference in the triple threat match between Roman Reigns and the WWE Tag Team Champions at the Royal Rumble, the Bloodline members had defeated the champs for their titles. Bryan and Cesaro were still a well oiled machine in this title rematch, but it was clear that their confrontations at the Rumble had left some degree of tension between them. The Usos were able to take advantage of this miscommunication, eventually hitting Cesaro with a 1D following an argument between the former champions breaking out, giving the Usos the title retention.
*Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair d. Naomi & Ember Moon by Pinfall to Win the Women's Tag Team Titles The week after Bianca Belair won the Women's Royal Rumble match, she appeared on Smackdown opposite Women's World Champion Sasha Banks and made clear her intentions to challenge the Boss for her title at Wrestlemania 37. A friendly rivalry between the two had developed, leading to the pair challenging Naomi and Ember Moon for the Women's Tag Team Championships. To the surprise of many, Banks and Belair actually proved to be an effective tandem, and Belair continued her winning ways by hitting Naomi with the KOD to pick up the win and the Women's Tag Titles, though Banks side-eyed her warily as the two celebrated.
*Matt Riddle d. King Corbin by Pinfall to Win the United States Title Backstage an interviewer was conducting a talk with Matt Riddle, when their promo was interrupted by King Corbin, who demanded television time to celebrate his United States title win. When Riddle tried to continue his promo, Corbin took afront to that and challenged him to a title match right then and there, feeling extremely confident. Cobin got the jump on Riddle and beat him down, dragging him to the ring with a referee in tow, stating he would not only win the US Title that night, but he would successfully defend it as well. After showboating to the crowd though, Corbin ate a stiff roundhouse kick to the head that stunned the new champion. Riddle then hit Corbin with the Bro-Derek to get a quick three count and upset victory, becoming the new United States champion unexpectedly.
*Drew McIntyre d. John Morrison & The Miz by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship After defeating The Miz at the Royal Rumble, albeit with help from Bad Bunny, Drew McIntyre was set to face both The Miz and his tag team partner John Morrison in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Title. Miz and Morrison teamed up together to try and take down the Scottish Warrior, but were instantly distracted by Booker T at ringside, who was conducting commentary during the match. At one point Miz got Booker T to stand up and then pie faced him, almost causing the Hall of Famer to run at him, forcing Corey Graves to hold him back. The distraction however would prove fatal to Miz, as he then ate a Claymore Kick on the outside that knocked him out of the match. McIntyre would then finish off Morrison in the ring with another Claymore, pinning him to retain the WWE Title.
*Bobby Lashley d. AJ Styles, Big E, Sami Zayn, Rey Mysterio & Mustafa Ali in an Elimination Chamber Match Much like Bianca Belair, Men's Royal Rumble winner Edge had made clear his intentions to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. This meant that the WWE Title's #1 contendership would be decided in an Elimination Chamber match featuring big name Raw stars. One of the more haunting incidents would be the sudden arrival of The Fiend in the middle of the match, as he singled out Rey Mysterio and caused him to be eliminated as a continuation of their burgeoning feud. In the end the match came down to Bobby Lashley against Intercontinental Champion Big E, with the New Day member eventually passing out in the Hurt Lock as Lashley punched his ticket to a WWE Title match to close the show. - Rey Mysterio and Sami Zayn started at #1 and #2 respectively - Big E entered at #3 - Mustafa Ali entered at #4 - Sami Zayn d. Rey Mysterio by Pinfall following interference from Bray Wyatt - Bobby Lashley entered at #5 - AJ Styles entered at #6 - AJ Styles d. Mustafa Ali by Pinfall - Bobby Lashley d. AJ Styles by Pinfall - Big E d. Sami Zayn by Pinfall - Bobby Lashley d. Big E by Technical Submission Winner: Bobby Lashley

*Matt Riddle d. King Corbin by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title After winning the United States Title unexpectedly at Elimination Chamber, the Original Bro Matt Riddle defended his newly won championship against the former champion, King Corbin. However Corbin was dealing with additional problems in the form of former WWE Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, whom Corbin had cheated out of a victory on the go home edition of Smackdown after Nakamura failed to show proper "Royal Respect" to the King of the Ring. After a ref bump, it looked like Corbin would pull out the victory after hitting a Deep Six on Matt Riddle. Instead, Corbin went to the outside and began looking under the ring for a weapon, only to suddenly eat a green mist from Nakamura, who had been hiding under the ring. Corbin then rolled into the ring and ate a massive superkick from Riddle, who pinned the King to retain his title.
*Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair d. Charlotte Flair & Beth Phoenix Wrestled to a No Contest [Banks & Belair Retain the Women's Tag Team Titles] Upcoming Wrestlemania opponents Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair had successfully won the Women's Tag Team Titles, and were tasked with defending the titles against the supposed other pair of opponents for a Women's Championship at Wrestlemania in Charlotte Flair and Beth Phoenix. The match went off without a hitch, at least until Banks "accidentally" hit Belair with the Boss Bomb Knee Drop from the top rope, taking her out of the equation. Flair and Phoenix couldn't capitalize though, as they were both taken out by Rhea Ripley, who came through the crowd and laid out both the Queen and the Glamazon in an attempt to stake her claim to a Wrestlemania title shot.
*The Miz w/John Morrison d. Booker T w/Bad Bunny by Pinfall After weeks of jawing between The Miz and John Morrison and the pop star Bad Bunny, WWE Hall of Famer on commentator Booker T had enough, and tried to confront the Miz on an episode of Miz TV. Booker was then laid out by Miz and Morrison, leading to the Hall of Famer challenging the A-Lister to a match. Booker came armed with help, as Bad Bunny himself was unexpectedly in Booker's corner for this match. The former World Heavyweight Champion showed little signs of ring rust despite being essentially retired, but John Morrison and Bad Bunny's antics on the outside would lead to Booker's downfall. Bad Bunny actually hit a Canadian Destroyer on the outside on Morrison, stunning the crowd, but Miz snuck up from behind Booker and rolled him up, using a hand full of tights for added leverage to get the dirty pinfall and escape with a victory.
*The Street Profits [Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins] w/Drew McIntyre d. The Hurt Business [Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander] w/Bobby Lashley & MVP by Disqualification [Hurt Business Retain the World Tag Team Titles] Former NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits had continued their quest to acquire the World Tag Team Titles, challenging the Hurt Business of Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. Making things far more interesting on the outside was the inclusion of WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, who would stand opposite his presumed Wrestlemania opponent Bobby Lashley during the course of the match. After an even contest, MVP attempted to help his team, only for McIntyre to intercept the manager. This caused Lashley and McIntyre to lock up outside, and eventually led to all six men brawling in and around the ring, giving the Profits a Disqualification victory but keeping the belts with the Hurt Business.
*Samoa Joe d. Daniel Bryan w/Cesaro by Pinfall Samoa Joe had made his return at the Royal Rumble, and had immediately begun targeting anyone and everyone in his path, taking advantage of his "free agent" status to go after superstars on both Raw and Smackdown. However his latest target were Daniel Bryan and Cesaro, as Joe was simply looking to take out the top competition anywhere he could. After defeating Cesaro on an episode of Smackdown, he took on the former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan in a match here. Much like Bryan had inadvertantly cost Cesaro, the Swiss Superman would inadvertantly cost Bryan, as he provided a distraction to the referee when Bryan got Joe in an attempt at the LeBell Lock. Bryan would admonish Cesaro, abandoning the hold, but allowing Joe a chance to get back to his feet. Joe then hit a massive lariat and followed it up with a Muscle Buster for the victory.
*The Fiend w/Alexa Bliss d. Dominik Mysterio w/Rey Mysterio by Referee Stoppage In recent weeks The Fiend had begun targeting Rey Mysterio as his latest victim, wanting to "peel back the mask" that Mysterio put on for the world. After weeks of attacking the luchadore on television, The Fiend was challenged by Mysterio's son Dominik. This would prove to be an unwise choice, as the younger Mysterio was easily dispatched by The Fiend and Wyatt's accomplice, Alexa Bliss. The Fiend continuously hit Dominik with Sister Abigail, seemingly becoming more and more unhinged as time went on, until Rey literally threw in the towel for his son, giving Wyatt the victory. Bray looked to do more damage, only for Bliss to call him off, the two disappearing as Mysterio tended to his son.
*Big E d. Chad Gable w/Otis by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title Chad Gable had "reopened" the old Angle Academy, renaming it the Alpha Academy and taking on Otis as his first student. In an effort to showcase "how things were done" to his new student, Gable challenged Big E for the Intercontinental Championship. However, this ended badly for the headmaster of the Alpha Academy, as Big E was able to dispatch Gable with a Jackhammer slam to retain his title.
*Edge & The New Day [Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston] d. Roman Reigns & The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] w/Paul Heyman by Pinfall After winning the Royal Rumble, the Rated R Superstar Edge had made clear his intentions to challenge the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, for the World Heavyweight Championship. The feud had expanded in the weeks leading into Fast Lane to include old rivals The New Day and The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Titles, leading to Edge being made an "honorary member" of the New Day and teaming against the Bloodline. After using their superior teamwork to isolate Xavier Woods, Woods eventually made the tag to Edge, who cleaned house of the entire Bloodline, including chasing Roman Reigns away from ringside. Edge then finished off Jimmy Uso with a Spear, winning the match and staring a hole at the suddenly frightened Tribal Chief to end the show.

Note: Due to Wrestlemania 36 taking place in a non-Covid timeline, the location of Wrestlemania 37 (and its subsequent Takeover) have been moved to Vancouver, British Columbia. NXT Takeover: Vancouver April 9, 2021 Rogers Arena Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
*Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde & Cruz del Toro d. Cameron Grimes, LA Knight & Bronson Reed by Pinfall Legados del Fantasma challenged the trio of Grimes, Inc. in this six man tag match, due to Cameron Grimes trying to hire Santos Escobar and his teammates as "gardeners." The match turned into an all out brawl quickly, and ended when LA Knight attempted to use a briefcase as a weapon against Escobar behind the referee's back, but accidentally hit Grimes instead. This allowed Escobar to hit Grimes with the Phantom Driver to pick up the win.
*Ilya Dragunov d. D-Rock w/B-Fab, Ridge Holland, A-Kid, Kit Wilson & Leon Ruff to Win the Men's "Brass Ring" Ladder Match The annual Brass Ring Ladder Matches took place at the Vancouver Takeover event, with both men and women competing for a chance at a called World Title shot in the course of the next calendar year (as in, they had to be cashed in in advance, unlike the MITB briefcase). Despite the impressive showing from high flyer A-Kid, it would be Ilya Dragunov who hit an H-Bomb off the top of the ladder to Leon Ruff, taking him out, who would come back and win the Brass Ring, bringing the first victory of the night to Imperium.
*Imperium [Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci] d. The Undisputed Era [Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish] & Grizzled Young Veterans [Zack Gibson & James Drake] by Pinfall to Win the NXT Tag Team Titles Imperium's luck would continue in a triple threat match for the NXT Tag Team Titles, also featuring the Undisputed Era and champions the Grizzled Young Veterans. O'Reilly and Fish were taken out early seemingly due to an injury sustained by Fish, causing Kaiser and Vinci to dominate the champions themselves, taking out Drake with an Electric Chair/Cutter Combination move called the Blue Danube to pick up the win and regain the tag team titles.
*Raquel Rodriguez d. Mia Yim, Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, Zoey Stark & Xia Brookside to Win the Women's "Brass Ring" Ladder Match Impressive specimen Raquel Rodriguez had been dominant in her brief NXT career, and that meteoric rise continued with a victory in the Women's Brass Ring showcase. Rodriguez dominated most of the women competing, leading to a relatively easy victory for the rookie sensation. Rodriguez would remain ringside for the following match featuring the NXT Women's Champion.
*The Divine Miss Toni Storm w/Reginald d. Io Shirai by Diqualification to Retain the NXT Women's Championship In a rematch from the last Takeover, The Divine Miss Toni Storm defended the NXT Women's Championship against the former champion, Io Shirai. Shirai controlled the early part of the match, but a distraction from Storm's butler, Reginald, turned the tide. Raquel Rodriguez wouldn't stand for Reginald's continued interference, eventually attacking the man servant at ringisde, but inadvertantly distracting the referee herself and stopping Shirai from getting a roll up victory. Io and Raquel briefly argued before Toni Storm knocked the Mistress of the Sky down, and then stepped up to Rodriguez herself. This led to a shoving match that saw Rodriguez shove Storm into the ring and straight into the referee, causing a disqualification victory for the champion and leaving Shirai empty handed. Shirai and Rodriguez then nearly came to blows and had to be separated by security.
*Karrion Kross w/Scarlett d. JD McDonagh by Pinfall to Retain the NXT North American Championship In a standard title match, Karrion Kross continued his run of domination, defeating the Irish Ace JD McDonagh after hitting him with two successive Kross Hammers to retain the North American Title.
*GUNTHER d. Adam Cole, Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Championship The leader of Imperium took on three former NXT Champions in this Fatal Fourway match, and to the surprise of many he managed to hold his own and even dominate at times, leading to the three sworn enemies to team up and try and take down the Ring General. This would fail though, as Gunther would eventually literally chop Adam Cole out of mid air and then pin him following a powerbomb to pick up the win and retain the title, as Imperium celebrated in the entryway to close the show.

Wrestlemania 37 April 10-11, 2021 BC Palace Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Night One *The Street Profits [Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins] d. The Hurt Business w/MVP [Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander] by Pinfall to Win the World Tag Team Titles Wrestlemania began with The Hurt Business defending the World Tag Team Titles against their growing rivals, The Street Profits. Ford and Dawkins had come close to winning the tag titles on numerous occasions leading into Mania, only to fall short largely due to outside interference from MVP. The Profits took out MVP early on, making the match a largely even affair instead, with Ford eventually picking up the win over Alexander with a massive splash from the top rope, giving the Profits the World Tag Team Titles.
*Samoa Joe d. Matt Riddle, Keith Lee & Sheamus by Pinfall to Win the United States Title 4 stars from Smackdown competed for the United States title, with former Mixed Martial Artist Matt Riddle defending against Sheamus, Keith Lee and Samoa Joe. It would be Joe who would dominate most of the match, eventually picking up the win by pinning Riddle following a Muscle Buster after catching the high flyer from the top rope, continuing his run of dominance since his return at the Royal Rumble.
*Braun Strowman d. Pete Dunne by Pinfall The Monster Among Men had returned to Raw recently, and had issued an open challenge to the roster, which was answered by the Bruiserweight, Pete Dunne. The former World Heavyweight Champion immediately disregarded Dunne as a threat, right up until Dunne managed to break Strowman's hand with the steel ring steps in the leadup to this match. Dunne would focus on this injured hand, attempting to break more of the hand and fingers to punish Strowman. But this would ultimately fail, as Strowman eventually picked up Dunne and hit a Running Powerslam for the win.
*Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose d. Naomi & Ember Moon by Pinfall to Retain the Women's Tag Team Titles In a standard title defense, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose managed to successfully defend their titles against the former champions Naomi and Ember Moon, after an athletic matchup, with Deville hitting a run up enziguiri on Rose to pick up the win.
*Kevin Owens d. Sami Zayn by Pinfall with Logan Paul as Special Guest Referee For several weeks Sami Zayn had been decrying a "conspiracy" against him by several referees working within the WWE. This continued when Zayn appeared on social media influencer Logan Paul's podcast, where Zayn offered Paul (a self-described "super fan" of WWE) the chance to be a Special Guest Referee for his match at Wrestlemania 37 against Zayn's longtime ally/enemy, Kevin Owens. If Zayn was expecting Paul to be a biased official on his behalf, then he would be mistaken, as Paul called the match down the middle (when he wasn't preening for the camera himself). In the end, Zayn would be distracted by a near fall and then attempt to use a Steel Chair, which Paul would stop him from doing. After arguing with Paul, Zayn turned around into a Stunner from Owens, which gave KO the victory. After the match, Paul attempted to take a selfie with Owens, only for the Prizefighter to turn around and hit a stunner on Paul to the crowd's delight.
*Booker T & Bad Bunny d. The Miz & John Morrison by Pinfall Ever since the Royal Rumble a feud had existed between The Miz and rapper Bad Bunny, with Miz's tag partner John Morrison and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T dragged into the mix. The feud was finally set to culminate at Wrestlemania, with Booker T teaming with Bad Bunny to face the A-Lister and the Prince of Parkour. Impressively, Bad Bunny was able to hang with Morrison and Miz, even hitting a Canadian Destroyer on the former for a near fall. In the end, Booker T caught Miz with a Book End following a miscommunication between the Hollywood Stars, and Bad Bunny pulled off a Moonsault for the pinfall victory.
*Bobby Lashley w/MVP d. Drew McIntyre by Pinfall to Win the WWE Championship The quest of Bobby Lashley to win the WWE Title had finally come to a culmination, after Lashley won the Elimination Chamber to earn a shot at champion Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania. The self-professed Almighty was seemingly the odds on favorite, but his chances took an immediate nosedive when McIntyre caught the overconfident challenger with a Claymore Kick right at the beginning of the match for a near fall. Lashley would eventually take control, even locking McIntyre in the Hurt Lock Full Nelson, but the Scottish Warrior was shockingly able to break out of the submission. After several more minutes of back and forth, McIntyre missed another attempt at a Claymore, eating a Spear from Lashley who followed up with a second spear to finally get the win and capture the WWE Title.
*Bianca Belair d. Sasha Banks by Pinfall to Win the Women's World Championship Immediately after winning the Royal Rumble, Bianca Belair had made clear her intentions to challenge Sasha Banks for the Women's World Championship in the main event of Night 1 of Wrestlemania 37. The due seemed to have legitimate respect for one another, even winning the Women's Tag Team Titles together on the build to Mania, only for Banks to suddenly turn on the EST of WWE and try to break her arm with the Banks Statement. Belair would power through any potential injury to make it to the title match, as the two made history as the first main event featuring all African Americans in Mania history. The two women had a back and forth match, with both women hitting their finishers at various points only to get near falls. In the end Belair would hit a second Kiss of Death on the Legit Boss, picking up the narrow win and becoming the Women's World Champion, celebrating to end Night One.
Night 2 *The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] d. The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles Two old tag team rivals kicked off Night 2 of Wrestlemania 37, as the Usos defended the WWE Tag Team Titles against the New Day (or what was left of it, as Big E was on a different brand and defending his Intercontinental Title later in the show.) Both teams clearly knew each other well, but the Bloodline tandem of the Usos got the better end of the deal on this night, hitting Kingston with the 1D to pick up the win and retain their titles.
*AJ Styles d. Chad Gable w/Otis by Pinfall Alpha Academy "Headmaster" Chad Gable had attempted to recruit the Phenomenal AJ Styles to be a "senior instructor" in his group, which Styles politely declined. Gable then insulted the veteran's age, leading to Styles challenging the Headmaster to a match. Gable surprised Styles by handling the unique offense of the Phenomenal One, attempting to soften up Styles' ankle for an Ankle Lock submission, only for Styles to counter with a Calf Crusher and get a visible tap out (only for Otis to provide a distraction to his mentor). Gable took advantage of a distraction and hit a German Suplex for a near fall, but missed a Moonsault as Styles moved out of the way. AJ then hit a Phenomenal Forearm for the hard earned victory.
*Big E d. Apollo Crews w/Omos by Disqualification to Retain the Intercontinental Title Ever since adopting the mantle of "Nigerian Royalty", Apollo Crews and his new associate the Nigerian Colossus Omos had been on a major winning streak, leading to Crews challenging Big E for the Intercontinental Title at Wrestlemania. In the build, Big E was constantly beaten down by Omos, and was seemingly injured coming into the match. Crews took advantage of the injured ribs of the champion and looked to try and keep his power game grounded. Big E was able to fight through the pain though and hit a Big Ending on Crews before setting up for a Jackhammer. Before he could execute the move though, Omos hit the ring and saved his "king", leading to a disqualification. Before the two Nigerians could beat down the champion, Big E was saved by his friends in the New Day who came to the ring armed with baseball bats, chasing off Crews and Omos and standing tall with the IC Champion.
*Shinsuke Nakamura w/Rick Boogs d. King Corbin by Pinfall for the Title of "King of Wrestling" The Winner of the King of the Ring tournament, Baron Corbin had tried to co opt NXT preliminary competitor Rick Boogs into being his "royal musician" on an episode of Smackdown. Instead, Boogs' distraction had led to Corbin losing a match to Shinsuke Nakamura. The former WWE Champion would again get the better of Corbin following Fast Lane, leading to a match at Mania to determine who the real "king of wrestling" actually was. Corbin came out early and attacked Boogs as Rick tried to introduce Nakamura, leading to Shinsuke coming to Boogs' aide. Corbin then brawled with Nakamura to ringside, and quickly took control of the match, though was unable to put Nakamura away. After a ref bump, Boogs came back to ringside and hit Corbin with his electric guitar, setting up Corbin to be drilled by a Boma Ye from Nakamura and giving Shinsuke Corbin's crown. Boogs and Nakamura then celebrated in the ring as Corbin slinked off to the back.
*Daniel Bryan d. Cesaro by Submission Former Tag Team Champions and respected allies Daniel Bryan and Cesaro had seen their alliance crumble in the face of getting a future shot at World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. The two had a scientifically sound match, that saw the Swiss Superman nearly get the pinfall following a Zurich Bomb. When that only got a two count though, Cesaro went for broke and tried to hit a Zurich Bomb from the top rope, only for Bryan to hit a Top Rope Frankensteiner instead. Bryan then followed up with his running knee strike and then locked in the LeBell Lock to get the tap out victory. After the match, Cesaro shook hands with Bryan, resuming their friendly rivalry.
*Rhea Ripley d. Charlotte Flair & Beth Phoenix by Pinfall to Win the WWE Women's Championship WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix had shocked many people by winning the Women's Elimination Chamber and thus earning a shot at WWE Women's Champion Charlotte Flair and, more significantly, freezing Rhea Ripley out of her potential shot at the title as well. This obviously did not sit well with the Eradicator, who crashed the contract signing between Phoenix and Flair on an episode of Raw, taking out both competitors and signing her own name to the contract. Despite threats of suspension from WWE official Adam Pearce, both Flair and Phoenix demanded Ripley be added to the match, making it a triple threat. Despite being the last addition to the match, Ripley dominated both the Queen and the Glamazon at times, causing the two former champions to have to team up to take out Ripley to save the title. It would be all for naught though, as Ripley eventually hit the Riptide on Beth Phoenix to pick up the win and become Women's Champion.
*Rey Mysterio w/Dominik Mysterio d. The Fiend w/Alexa Bliss in a Mask vs. Mask Match For several weeks The Fiend Bray Wyatt had been targeting Rey Mysterio, wanting to unmask the luchadore in a quest of "showing his true face" to the WWE universe. He came close on several occasions, only for Rey to be saved by his son Dominik. This led to a Mask vs. Mask match at Wrestlemania, where the Fiend dominated as he usually did in the early going. With Alexa Bliss taking out Dominik on the outside it appeared that the Fiend would emerge victorious, only to be thwarted by the returning Randy Orton, who came out of nowhere and hit an RKO onto a Steel Chair in this No Disqualification Match. Rey then hit a splash from the top rope to beat The Fiend. As the referee tried to take away The Fiend's mask, he began screaming out in defiance, a loud pitched wail filling the stadium as the lights went dark. Before long, a spotlight shone on the entryway on the Fiend's mask lying on the ground, which then spontaneously caught fire, symbolic of his apparent destruction.
*Roman Reigns w/Paul Heyman d. Edge by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship Edge had turned back time to win the men's Royal Rumble match in January, and had immediately set his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship held by Roman Reigns. The heavy sentimental favorite, Edge had even scored a victory over the Bloodline in a six man tag en route to Wrestlemania. Despite this setback, the tribal chief continued his run of dominance, surviving the momentum that the hall of famer had at his disposal and eventually hitting two successive Spears on Edge to get the pinfall and retain his title to the shock of the Vancouver crowd, who seemed primed for an Edge victory. The Tribal Chief left with his title in tact to a chorus of boos to end the show.

*Samoa Joe d. Keith Lee by Technical Submission to Retain the United States Title Two of the strongest men in WWE went toe to toe for the United States Title, after Keith Lee had come close to winning the title in the Fatal Fourway match the previous month at Wrestlemania. Despite the Limitless One's best efforts, the Samoan Monster Samoa Joe continued to be too much to handle, as he had been since his return to the company back in January, as he choked out Lee with a Coquina Clutch, retaining his title.
*Alpha Academy [Chad Gable & Otis] d. AJ Styles & Tomasso Ciampa by Pinfall Following his victory over Chad Gable at Wrestlemania, The Phenomenal AJ Styles continued to have difficulties with the Alpha Academy, as they ambushed him backstage on an episode of Raw. Styles was challenged to a tag match, and had to come up with a partner to stand by him. That partner would turn out to be former NXT champion Tomasso Ciampa, making his Raw debut. Ciampa was a huge surprise to Gable and Otis, but it was an even bigger surprise when Ciampa suddenly turned on Styles and left him high and dry during the match. This allowed Otis to hit a big elbow from the second rope followed by a Gable Moonsault to give the Alpha Academy the upset win.
*Apollo Crews w/Omos d. Big E w/The New Day in an Nigerian Street Fight to Win the Intercontinental Title Following the disqualification victory at Wrestlemania, the issue between Apollo Crews and Intercontinental Champion Big E was far from settled. This led to a Nigerian Street Fight for the title, ensuring that there would be a definitive winner. The Street Fight turned into an all out brawl, as Omos and The New Day battled on the outside while Crews and Big E brawled on the inside. In the end, Crews took advantage of Big E being distracted by Omos putting Xavier Woods through a table, hitting Big E with back to back Crews Control moves to pick up the win and recapture the IC Title.
*Drew McIntyre d. Edge by Pinfall to Earn a Shot at the WWE Championship After they both lost their respective title matches at Wrestlemania, both Drew McIntyre and Edge were looking to get back into a title picture, with both men challenging Bobby Lashley for a WWE title match in the future. This led to WWE official Adam Pearce making a match between the two for the #1 contendership to the WWE Title at Backlash. After a spirited back and forth, Edge went for a Spear against McIntyre, only for Drew to dodge out of the way and then catch the Hall of Famer with a Claymore Kick out of nowhere, picking up the victory. After the match, Edge looked on in frustration at another failure to capture an elusive world title.
*Rhea Ripley d. Natalya by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Women's Championship In her first title defense of the Women's Championship Rhea Ripley disposed of former champion Natalya with little difficulty, controlling much of the match and fighting through a Sharpshooter attempt to eventually hit the Canadian with a Riptide for the win. In a luxury suite watching on, Charlotte Flair kept a close eye on her competition as Ripley celebrated in the ring.
*Bobby Lashley w/MVP d. Shelton Benjamin w/Cedric Alexander by Technical SUbmission to Retain the WWE Championship The night after Wrestlemania, following a celebration of new champion Bobby Lashley, the All Mighty and MVP decided that it was time to "cut bait" on the supposed dead weight of the Hurt Business (who had lost the tag team titles at the same event), with Lashley laying out both Benjamin and Alexander. This led former WWE Champion Shelton Benjamin to attack Lashley backstage on a subsequent episode of Raw, leading to this title match. Despite his best efforts though, the Gold Standard was unable to wrestle away the WWE Title from the All Mighty, as Lashley trapped Benjamin in the Hurt Lock and eventually got the Technical Submission victory.
*Bianca Belair d. Mandy Rose w/Sonya Deville by Pinfall to Retain the Women's World Championship The EST of WWE had achieved a childhood dream by winning the Women's World Title in one of the Main Events of Wrestlemania 37, but her first title defense would be difficult as she took on one half of the former Women's Tag Team Champions, Mandy Rose. Making things more difficult was the fact that Rose's tag partner, Sonya Deville, would be at ringside, eager to help her partner. Her blatant interference would backfire though, as it got Deville ejected from ringside at one point. It would be academic for Belair from there, as she finished off Rose with a Kiss of Death to pick up the win and retain her title.
*The Bloodline [Roman Reigns, Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso] w/Paul Heyman d. Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens & King Nakamura by Pinfall On the Smackdown following Wrestlemania, three top challengers to the World Heavyweight Championship of Roman Reigns each staked a claim to the #1 contendership, and all three were individually taken out by the Bloodline in short order. This led to Adam Pearce making a six man tag match for Backlash in which the trio of faces would take on the Usos and Reigns. The Tribal Chief largely stayed out of the melee until the end, letting the Usos handle the dirty work for much of the match, but in the end Reigns would be able to clean house for a brief time. It appeared Roman would be in trouble when he got set up for a Boma Ye from King Nakamura, only for Baron Corbin to come out of the crowd and distract the newly minted King of Wrestling. When Nakamura turned back around, Reigns hit a Spear on him and picked up the win for the Bloodline, who fled and celebrated to end the show.

NOTE: The google doc should be loading. It never wasn't loading for me, so I'm unsure what the issue is.NXT Takeover: In Your House 2 June 13, 2021 North Charleston Coliseum Charleston, SC
*Cameron Grimes w/Bronson Reed d. LA Knight by Pinfall Cameron Grimes, Inc. had collapsed in on itself in recent weeks, as the partnership between LA Knight and Cameron Grimes dissolved after failure to win the tag team titles, leading to an increasingly personal feud between the two. Knight was quickly becoming a fan favorite against the venture capitalist Grimes, but couldn't overcome the presence of Big Bronson Reed at ringside, who slammed Knight into the ring post, hurting his back. Grimes would eventually hit the Moonshot on Knight to pick up the win.
*Io Shirai d. Raquel Rodriguez by Pinfall Raquel Rodriguez had cashed in her Brass Ring chance against The Divine Miss Toni Storm on an episode of NXT in May, leading to her getting a Women's Title Shot. However, this would fail due to the inadvertant actions of former champion Io Shirai, leading to a disqualification ending to that title match. This led to Rodriguez challenging the Mistress of the Sky for the #1 contendership to the title. Rodriguez used her power in the early going, but Shirai caught Rodriguez unaware with a huge cross body followed by a Moonsault for the win. After the match though, Shirai was attacked by Storm's "understudy" Blair Davenport, beating her down and leaving her easy pickings for the champion.
*The Divine Miss Toni Storm w/Reginald & Blair d. Io Shirai by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Women's Championship The champion immediately came out and demanded that her title defense begin right then and there. Despite protests from NXT General Manager William Regal, Shirai gave the okay for the match to go ahead. Storm was caught off guard in the early going, but eventually the injuries to Shirai were too much to overcome, leading to Storm hitting the Final Curtain for the victory.
*The Breaker Crew [Bron & Ben Breaker] w/Von Breaker d. MSK [Wes Lee & Nash Carter] by Pinfall to Win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic A group of 3rd generation stars (Bronson Steiner, Ben Buchanan and Von Wagner, the sons of Rick Steiner, Bull Buchanan and Beau Beverly respectively) had formed a trio known as the Breaker Crew, taking the names of Bron, Ben and Von Breaker. The trio entered the resuscitated Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic and ran roughshod through it utilizing the Freebird Rule of any two of the three competing at any time. They made it to the finals against MSK and continued their run of domination, with Bron and Ben Breaker slowing down the speedsters and Bron eventually hitting a massive Spear from the second rope, while Ben powerbombed Wes Lee to pick up the tournament win.
*Karrion Kross w/Scarlett d. Austin Theory by Pinfall to Retain the NXT North American Title Karrion Kross continued his total domination in NXT, easily besting Austin Theory and retaining the North American title after hitting Theory with two straight Kross Hammers. Kross looked to continue his domination and had to be restrained by security and NXT General Manager William Regal before he backed off.
*Kyle O'Reilly w/Bobby Fish d. Adam Cole by Pinfall The Undisputed Era had finished its implosion, as Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly had come to blows following recent title failures, with Bobby Fish left in the middle between the two. Eventually Fish would side with his usual tag partner (after feigning support for Cole), leading to O'Reilly winning this match between the two after Fish delivered a steel chair shot to the back of Cole, allowing Kyle to roll him up for the victory.
*GUNTHER w/Imperium d. Swerve Strickland w/Hit Row by Pinfall in a Lumberjack Match to Retain the NXT Championship With Imperium and Hit Row serving as lumberjacks for this title match (along with other NXT talent), GUNTHER and Swerve Strickland fought for the NXT Championship. Despite distractions of the two factions fighting with each other on the outside, GUNTHER was able to hit a huge Powerbomb off the top rope and then stack up the pin on Strickland to pick up the win and retain his title.

WWE Hell in a Cell June 20, 2021 Rocket Mortgage Field House Cleveland, OH
*Rey Mysterio w/Dominik Mysterio d. Edge by Pinfall Two longtime acquaintances met in Edge and Rey Mysterio in a simple match for respect, as the Rated R Superstar looked to reassert himself as a dominant force in WWE after a string of losses since Wrestlemania. Edge controlled the match in the early going, but quickly found himself unable to keep up with the high flying Mysterio, who seemed to find his second wind all too quickly. In the end Edge missed a Spear and landed hard in the corner, stunning himself. Rey then hit a hurancanrana with a pinning combination to pick up the surprise win, much to Edge's frustration. After the match, Mysterio offered his hand in sportsmanship to Edge, which the Hall of Famer took, but quickly Edge clotheslined Rey down to the ground in frustration. When Dominik demanded an explanation, Edge kicked him low and then hit a Spear on the younger Mysterio, before storming out of the ring.
*Matt Riddle d. Broken Corbin by Pinfall Another man who was in a major losing streak was Baron Corbin, who had not only lost his "King" title at Wrestlemania, but in the months since had lost his entire fortune on a "crypto scam" online. Colloquially referred to as Broken Corbin, the losing streak continued for the former King of WWE, as Matt Riddle hit the Floating Bro on Corbin to pick up the win.
*The Street Profits [Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins] d. Alpha Academy [Chad Gable & Otis] by Pinfall to Retain the World Tag Team Titles The Alpha Academy, led by headmaster Chad Gable, had won a #1 contenders match on Raw to earn a shot at the Street Profits for the World Tag Team Titles. Despite having the sheer strength of Otis on their side, Alpha Academy couldn't overcome the Street Profits teamwork, and eventually Gable was pinned by Dawkins following a huge splash from Ford from the top rope, as the Street Profits retained.
*Samoa Joe d. Kevin Owens by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title In a standard title defense, Samoa Joe continued his run of successful title challenges, beating former champion Kevin Owens after hitting a Muscle Buster out of the corner. Joe continued the attack afterward, demanding a challenge for himself as he locked Owens in a Coquina Clutch, choking out the Prizefighter and forcing him to be helped to the back on a gurney.
*Bianca Belair d. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville by Pinfall in a Triple Threat Match to Retain the Women's World Championship The Women's World Champion Bianca Belair had been feuding with both of the former Women's Tag Team Champions, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, since winning the title back at Wrestlemania. The feud came to a culmination as the EST of WWE defended her title in a Triple Threat match. At first it appeared that Belair was at a significant disadvantage, as Rose and Deville set aside some lingering issues they had going back to them losing the tag titles. But quickly the lure of the Women's World Title fractured their alliance, allowing Belair to even the oddes. Bianca eventually retained her title after hitting Rose with a KOD, as Deville abandoned Mandy and seemingly ended their partnership.
*Apollo Crews w/Omos d. Tomasso Ciampa by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title Newcomer to the Raw roster Tomasso Ciampa had scored a huge upset when he defeated AJ Styles in a #1 contenders match for the Intercontinental Championship, leading to a match against Apollo Crews. The two heels traded blows with one another, but the match didn't last long, as Styles made his presence felt and cost Ciampa the match, as the Blackheart turned right into a Crews Control from the champion after a distraction for the 1-2-3.
*Piper Niven d. Charlotte Flair by Pinfall The night after Wrestlemania, Piper Niven had made her main roster debut, squashing local competitors sometimes 2 or 3 at a time to build up an impressive undefeated streak. Her biggest challenge came in this #1 contenders match for the Women's Championship against former champion Charlotte Flair. With Rhea Ripley watching at ringside, Niven surprisingly was more than a match for the Queen, able to counter almost all of her offense. With the champion watching on, Niven stopped Flair from hitting a moonsault, causing her to land awkwardly on the top rope and spill onto the mat. Niven then hit a Vader Bomb in the corner and pinned the Queen, earning a title shot at Ripley at Money in the Bank.
*Bobby Lashley w/MVP d. Drew McIntyre by Pinfall in a Hell in a Cell Match to Retain the WWE Championship Drew McIntyre had defeated Edge in a No Disqualification Match on Raw to earn another shot at Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship, which WWE official Adam Pearce announced would take place inside Hell in a Cell to ensure no outside interference (or so he planned). The two men beat each other down with impunity, with Lashley even spearing McIntyre through the cage wall at one point. Eventually the two made their way back into the ring and McIntyre appeared poised to hit Lashley with a Claymore Kick, only to be attacked from behind by Edge, who came from the back and drilled him in the back of the head with a lead pipe. Edge then went back to the back as Lashley got back to his feet, dragged the unconscious McIntyre into the ring and got a three count to retain his title, the show ending with the manic look of frustration on Edge's face as he stared back into the ring.
Off-Camera Title Change June 29: Karrion Kross stripped of the NXT North American Title and suspended by NXT General Manager William Regal.
