WWE Money in the Bank July 18, 2021 Dickies Arena Ft. Worth, TX
*Becky Lynch d. Sonya Deville, Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, Nikki Cross, Liv Morgan, Zelina Vega & Alexa Bliss in the Women's Money in the Bank Match The Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match had begun minus one female Superstar, as Naomi had been deemed "medically unfit" to compete just before the event began, with WWE official Adam Pearce looking for a replacement. All of the women were scrambling to try and retrieve the briefcase, only teaming up to try and take out Nia Jax as the biggest threat. Eventually Jax seemingly took herself out, when Alexa Bliss seemingly mesmerized the Irrestible Force long enough to distract her before being powerbombed by three other ladies from the ladder (and Liv Morgan stopping Bliss from retrieving the briefcase.) It looked like Charlotte Flair would have the bee line for the briefcase, when Adam Pearce "co-hort", The Miz, came out. Miz was injured and thus was acting as a "special official in charge" in addition to Pearce. Miz announced that an 8th woman had been found, as Becky Lynch made her way to the ring with great fanfare, making her first return since maternity leave the year before. Lynch strolled down and entered the match later, outlasting the other exhausted women to easily climb the briefcase and retrieve the Women's Money in the Bank Contract.
*Bianca Belair d. Shayna Baszler by Pinfall to Retain the Women's World Championship Despite being on Raw, the former Women's Champion Shayna Baszler had made it her mission to regain a Women's Championship at Money in the Bank, challenging Bianca Belair for her championship instead. The two rekindled their old rivalry from NXT, with the Queen of Spades giving the biggest challenge that the EST of WWE had faced up to that point. However in the end, Belair would be victorious, hitting Baszler with the KOD to pick up the win and retain her title.
*The Usos [Jey & Jimmy Uso] d. King Nakamura & Rick Boogs by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles In a standard title defense, The Usos took on the relatively new pairing of King Nakamura and his "Royal Shredder" Rick Boogs. Despite Boogs displaying a surprising amount of strength and power, the Usos experience as a team was far too much to overcome, and they would hit Boogs with a double Superkick followed by the 1-D to pick up the win and retain their titles.
*Edge & Damian Priest d. Rey & Dominik Mysterio by Pinfall Edge had turned heel at Hell in a Cell, both viciously attacking Rey Mysterio and costing Drew McIntyre the WWE Championship in the process. It would be the Mysterios who would get the first chance at revenge challenging Edge to a tag team match where Edge would have a mystery partner. This mystery follower turned out to be the debuting Damian Priest from NXT. Priest laid waste to both of the Mysterios, with Edge not really having to get involved till the very end, when he hit Rey with a Spear for the win. After the match however, McIntyre came out to get revenge on the Rated R superstar. Priest appeared ready for a confrontation, but Edge pulled him out at the last minute, escaping the wrath of the Scottish Warrior for now.
*Rhea Ripley d. Piper Niven by Disqualification to Retain the WWE Women's Title Piper Niven challenged Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women's Championship, with Niven's undefeated streak also on the line. The match was incredibly even througout, with Niven more than a match for the dominating Ripley's powerful offense. However it would be Charlotte Flair who got involved, trying to cost Ripley the match, leading to Niven being disqualified and Ripley retaining the title. After the match though, the Scottish Siren laid out both the Queen and the Dominator, standing tall holding the Women's Title high above her head.
*Bobby Lashley w/MVP d. Cesaro by Technical Submission to Retain the WWE Championship Cesaro had won a #1 contenders Battle Royal on an episode of Raw, moving over to the Red Brand in a surprise roster move. He immediately moved to challenge WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, and at first it seemed like the Swiss Superman would upset the Almighty, using his unique blend of technical offense and sheer power to overwhelm the Almighty WWE Champion. Cesaro however would attempt to take to the air, only to be speared out of midair by Lashley, who then moved to lock the former World Champion in the Hurt Lock. Cesaro refused to submit, but would eventually pass out in the Full Nelson, allowing Lashley to retain his title.
*Big E d. Keith Lee, AJ Styles, Tomasso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Matt Riddle, John Morrison & Ricochet in the Men's Money in the Bank Match The Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match saw several first timers (like Ciampa and Gargano) compete for a guaranteed opportunity at a World Championship match, but also some returning veterans like Styles and Big E. Styles and Ciampa were more worried about engaging with each other, while Ricochet at one point took out Johnny Gargano with a Spanish Fly from the top of the ladder through the announce table to the outside. In the end it would come downto Big E and Keith Lee battling up to the top of the ladder, the two big men trading huge shots before Big E finally managed to push the Limitless One off of a ladder and through another table on the floor. Big E then grabbed the briefcase to become Mr. Money in the Bank.
*Roman Reigns w/Paul Heyman d. Daniel Bryan by Pinfall in a Title vs. Career Match to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship Daniel Bryan had sought another opportunity at World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, but the Tribal Chief denied Bryan a title shot. Eventually Bryan would be goaded into putting his WWE Career on the line against Reigns at Money in the Bank for one last opportunity at the championship. Bryan attacked with reckless abandon throughout the match, and nearly got the win at one point when locking Reigns in the LeBell Lock, with Roman having to claw and scratch his way to the ropes in order to avoid losing his title. Unfortunately for Bryan, Roman would eventually hit two Spears to put him away and retain his title, ending Bryan's WWE career and dream to once again be World Champion to close the show.

WWE Summerslam August 21, 2021 Allegiant Stadium Las Vegas, NV
*King Nakamura w/Rick Boogs d. Apollo Crews w/Omos by Pinfall to Win the Intercontinental Title In a Superstar Shakeup, Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews and his majordomo, the Nigerian Colossus Omos, were transferred to Smackdown (while United States Champion Samoa Joe was transferred to Raw). Crews' first major test as champion was against former WWE Champion King Nakamura. The interesting part was the fight on the outside between Nakamura's "Hype Man" Rick Boogs and Omos, as Boogs was surprisingly able to match strength with the guitar player. With the Colossus neutralized, Nakamura was able to take out Crews, hitting a Boma Ye to win and capture the IC Title.
*The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Big E] & Keith Lee w/Xavier Woods d. Samoa Joe, Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander by Pinfall Also in the Superstar Shakeup, the New Day had been reunited on Raw. They began a feud with Samoa Joe after Kofi Kingston upset Joe for the United States Title. With Xavier Woods apparently hurt, the New Day recruited Keith Lee as an "honorary member", teaming with Kingston and Big E against Joe, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. The "New" New Day teamed well together, as Woods looked on with a slightly subdued amount of enthusiasm, as Lee finally managed to get a victory over Joe after hitting the former US Champion with a Spirit Bomb.
*Logan Paul d. Sami Zayn by Pinfall The Conspiracy Victim Sami Zayn had continued his ranting and raving about things being unfair for him, even since Wrestlemania when his plan to use Logan Paul as a Special Referee against Kevin Owens had failed. Appearing on Paul's podcast, Zayn and the self-professed Megastar nearly got into a fist fight, leading to Paul challenging Zayn to a match at Summerslam. To everyone's surprise, Paul more than held his own against the former WWE Champion, and despite Sami getting his fair share of licks in, Paul was able to pull off the upset after hitting a Buckshot Lariat for the win. After the match, Zayn continued to tear up the ringside area in frustration.
*AJ Styles d. Tomasso Ciampa by Pinfall The feud between AJ Styles and Tomasso Ciampa had been going on since after Wrestlemania, when Ciampa had double crossed the Phenomenal One. After some back and forth between the two over the course of the summer, including Ciampa cheating Styles out of a couple of wins on Raw, Styles finally managed to get his revenge, beating the Blackheart with a Styles Clash in the center of the ring.
*The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] w/Paul Heyman d. Randy Orton & Matt Riddle by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles The Usos had continued to dominate the tag division on Smackdown, as a feud between Randy Orton and Roman Reigns was starting to brew in the background. Orton needed a tag partner to take on the Usos, despite claiming he would do so on his own. In lieu of actually picking a partner, Orton was assigned a partner by Adam Pearce in the form of Matt Riddle. Riddle, taking to calling the team RK-Bro, was certainly an odd fit, and the two at first did not gel well. In the tag team match at Summerslam, Orton initially refused to tag in Riddle, much to the detriment of the team. Eventually, to much fan support, Riddle got the hot tag and cleared out both Usos, eventually hitting an RKO of his own on Jimmy and nearly getting the win, only for the Wiseman Paul Heyman to place Jimmy's foot on the nearby rope to break the pin. Riddle chased Heyman around the ring, and Heyman would eat an RKO of his own from Orton on the outside. When Riddle ran back into the ring though, he walked right into a 1-D from the Usos, with Jimmy getting the pinfall to retain the title. After the match, Riddle tried to apologize to Orton, but Orton shook his hand and raised it in solidarity, appreciative of the effort.
*Becky Lynch d. Bianca Belair Via Money in the Bank Cash-In to Win the Women's World Championship Bianca Belair technically had no opponent for Summerslam, and the Women's World Champion had been appointed the special Guest Host of Summerslam. When she came out to announce the attendance figures in Las Vegas, however, she was sidelined by a masked woman coming out of the crowd. The woman unmasked herself and revealed Sasha Banks, who hadn't been seen since losing the title at Wrestlemania. Banks locked Belair in the Banks Statement briefly and then walked off, her point having been made. However, at that moment, Ms. Money in the Bank Becky Lynch came running out and cashed in her briefcase. After waiting for Belair to get to her feet, Lynch hit Belair with the Manhandle Slam and got the victory to capture the Women's World Championship
*Bobby Lashley w/MVP & Goldberg Fought to a Double Countout [Lashley Retains WWE Championship] The All Mighty WWE Champion had (by his own indication) defeated everyone standing against him on Raw. However this assesment of the situation was questioned by returning WWE Hall of Famer, Goldberg. Da Man had defeated Lashley the previous year at Wrestlemania 36, and felt that his record against the All Mighty put him in line to be WWE Champion. Things got very heated in the build to the match when Lashley, unprovoked, attacked Goldberg's son at ringside, luring out the Hall of Famer into a 2 on 1 ambush on an episode of Raw. This would play out similarly at Summerslam. Goldberg appeared to have Lashley beat, when MVP began spouting off with his son at ringside. MVP eventually tried to hit Goldberg's son with his cane. This brought Goldberg out of the ring, as he speared MVP literally out of his shoes. Lashley then attacked Goldberg from behind and the two fought each other up the ramp, both getting counted out and with security struggling to break them apart.
*Edge w/Damian Priest d. Drew McIntyre by Pinfall Despite Drew McIntyre being drafted to Smackdown, he had lingering issues to deal with in the Rated R Superstar Edge, and the Hall of Famer's disciple Damian Priest. Having formed a group known as The Judgment Day, Edge and Priest had been making McIntyre's life a living hell on both Raw and Smackdown, leading to this one on one match. It appeared that the match would be one on one for certain, as Priest was ejected early on from the match. McIntyre looked to take advantage, but the referee inadvertantly ate a Claymore kick at one point, taking him out so that when McIntyre hit another one on Edge, there was no one to make a count. McIntyre got to his feet to try and revive the referee, only to turn around and face down the debuting Dexter Lumis. Lumis threw a fireball into McIntyre's face, blinding him. Edge then got to his feet and hit a Spear on McIntyre as Lumis revived the referee, and Edge got the tainted 1-2-3.
*Rhea Ripley d. Charlotte Flair by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Women's Championship The long desired rematch between these two took place at Summerslam, with the WWE Women's Title again on the line. Both The Queen and the Dominator knew each other very well, and the match played out very similarly to their Wrestlemania encounter. However this time there was an added wrinkle in the form of Piper Niven, who distracted Rhea at one point when Ripley was seemingly ready to hit Flair with the Riptide. The distraction was enough for Flair to take out Rhea's knee one final time and then lock on the Figure 8 in the center of the ring. This might have been the end, however Niven made her presence felt as a nuisance to both women, distracting the referee when Rhea was ready to tap out. Flair came over to attack Niven, who jumped down from the apron. When Flair turned back to Rhea, the Dominator tripped her up and got back to her feet, hitting two successive Riptides to finish off the Queen and pick up the win and title retention.
*Roman Reigns w/Paul Heyman d. John Cena by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship The Smackdown after Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan came out for his farewell address to the WWE Universe, only to be interrupted by Roman Reigns and the Bloodline, who demanded that Bryan be removed from the ring entirely. Bryan would eventually be attacked by Reigns and the Usos, only to be saved by the returning John Cena, who stared down the frightened champion. Cena had been the last man to pin Reigns over a year earlier, and parlayed that into a title match at Summerslam. For Reigns, it was a matter of exercising his demons, as he took it to the veteran Cena with reckless abandon, nearly costing himself the match in his eagerness a couple of times. In the end though, Reigns was too much for Cena, as he finished off the future Hall of Famer with two Spears for the win. As Paul Heyman acknowledged his tribal chief to end the show though, the familiar chords of Brock Lesnar's music filled Allegiant Stadium, as the Beast Incarnate made his way to the ring, staring down his old nemesis and his old manager to end the show.

NXT Takeover: Sin City August 22, 2021 MGM Grand Garden Arena Las Vegas, NV
*The Breakker Crew [Bron & Von Breaker] w/Ben Breaker d. Hit Row [Top Dolla & Swerve Strickland] w/B-Fab & Ashantae Adonis by Pinfall to Win the NXT Tag Team Titles The winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic, the Breakker Crew, got their promised title shot at Hit Row for the NXT Tag Team Titles. Despite essentially being rookies, the powerhouse second generation stars (this time represented by Bron and Von Breakker) controlled much of the match, despite the best efforts from Swerve. In the end, Bron hit a massive Gorilla Press Slam on the larger Top Dolla to pick up the win and capture the NXT Tag Team Titles.
*Mandy Rose d. Indi Hartwell by Pinfall Mandy Rose had lost a Loser Leaves WWE Match to her former tag team partner, Sonya Deville. However this only meant she left the main roster, as she surprisingly answered an open challenge from Indi Hartwell at this Takeover Special. Rose hit the Thorn Bush to pick up the victory.
*Austin Theory d. LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes, Cameron Grimes, Ilya Draganov & Santos Escobar in a 6 Man Ladder Match to Win the Vacant NXT North American Title Karrion Kross had been stripped of the North American Title and suspended by NXT General Manager William Regal (which led to Regal being attacked off screen by, allegedly, Kross, extending his suspension to indefinite by WWE COO, Triple H). This led to a 6 Man Ladder Match for the Vacant Title. The big feud amongst the participants was against former Grimes, Inc. business partners, Cameron Grimes and LA Knight, who essentially took each other out of the match. Rookie sensation Carmelo Hayes came close to winning, but it would be the former member of the Way, Austin Theory, who would sneak up the ladder while Draganov and Escobar were fighting with each other in order to claim the North American Title.
*ReDragon [Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish] d. Adam Cole & Roderick Strong in a Loser Leaves NXT Match (Cole Leaves Due to Contract Expiration) The Civil War of the Undisputed Era reached its final conclusion, as O'Reilly and Fish (now going by their Indie tag name of ReDragon) took on the reconciled Adam Cole and Roderick Strong, with the man who took the fall leaving NXT for good. After a lengthy match with several false finishes, O'Reilly and Fish hit the High-Low on Cole and picked up the win, banishing Cole from NXT permanently (in reality, Cole's contract had expired and he would debut for AEW shortly after this event).
*Gunther d. Bobby Roode by Technical Submission to Retain the NXT Championship With the Ring General having laid waste to almost everyone in NXT, he was challenged by a former NXT Champion from the Main Roster in the form of Bobby Roode. The Glorious one had seen something of a career resurgence since his return to NXT, and had come the closest of anyone to actually pinning the NXT Champion in a non-title match, with the match ending in a No Contest due to interference from Imperium. The hard hitting match at Takeover Sin City went the same way, but Roode was unable to finish off the Ring General, as Gunther locked him in a Sleeper Hold in the center of the ring and choked the life out of Roode, getting the victory via technical submission.
*Raquel Rodriguez d. Io Shirai & The Divine Miss Toni Storm w/Reginald & Blair in a Triple Threat Match to Win the NXT Women's Championship The lengthy battle between the three top women of NXT that had lasted all summer finally came to a head in this triple threat match for the Women's Championship. The Genius of the Sky, Io Shirai, took control of the match early on, neutralizing Raquel Rodriguez's power with her high flying offense, while Toni Storm did her best to hide in the corner and avoid confrontation. The Divine Champion nearly stole the victory after Rodriguez hit Shirai with a massive top rope backbreaker, but Rodriguez was able to get back in the ring and break the count. She then took out Reginald and the Understudy Blair for good measure. Rodriguez would then hit the Tejana Bomb on Storm to pick up the win and capture the NXT Women's Title, celebrating to end the show.

WWE Extreme Rules September 26, 2021 Nationwide Arena Columbus, OH
*RK-Bro [Randy Orton & Matt Riddle] d. The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] by Pinfall in a Tornado Rules Match to Win the WWE Tag Team Titles After the makeshift duo of RK-Bro failed to defeat the Usos for the Tag Team Titles at Summerslam, it looked as if Randy Orton and Matt Riddle would go their separate ways. To the surprise of everyone though, the duo remained together, and challenged the Usos a second time to a title match, this time with Tornado Rules in which all four men would be in the ring at the same time. To the shock of many, Orton and Riddle continued to gel as a team and in the end hit stereo RKO's on the Usos to pick up the win and capture the WWE Tag Team Titles, the first dent in the Bloodline's armor in ages.
*Sasha Banks d. Bianca Belair by Pinfall Sasha Banks had made a surprise return at Summerslam, attacking Bianca Belair and allowing Becky Lynch the opportunity to cash in her Money in the Bank Contract to capture the Women's World Championship. A Wrestlemania rematch was scheduled for Extreme Rules, with the winner receiving a shot at Lynch's title in the future. The self-professed "Big Time Becks" was at ringside scouting the match, seemingly maintaining a neutral presence. However that neutral presence was shattered when she pulled at Bianca's ponytail on the outside, distracting her from the match. Banks then hit a Backstabber on the distraction and followed that up with her double knee drop from the top rope to pick up the win and become #1 contender to the Women's World Championship.
*Mia Yim & Xia Li d. Shayna Baszler & Chelsea Green by Pinfall to Retain the Women's Tag Team Titles Chelsea Green had made her debut in recent weeks, acting as a "talent scout" for the perfect partner for herself to try and win the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles. The talent she chose was former Women's Champion Shayna Baszler, but to Chelsea's disappointment the two wouldn't gel well enough as a team to get the job done, as Green was rather easily pinned by Mia Yim in this standard title match.
*Tomasso Ciampa d. Kofi Kingston by Submission to Win the United States Title Seemingly having moved past his feud with AJ Styles, the Blackheart Tomasso Ciampa challenged Kofi Kingston for the United States Championship. Unfazed by the veteran Kingston, Ciampa would eventually lock the New Day member in a Crossface and earn the submission victory to capture his first singles title on the main roster.
*Lucky Corbin d. Johnny Gargano by Pinfall In Las Vegas during Summerslam weekend, the Broken Down Baron Corbin had taken his "last 10 bucks" and used it to go on a massive winning streak at casinos throughout the city, changing his fortunes and making himself a multi-millionaire overnight. Now calling himself "Lucky Corbin", the former IC champion had turned his fortunes around in the ring too, and had targeted one of them men who had contributed to his long losing streak, Johnny Gargano, in retaliation. In this match, Gargano tried to turn the tables on Corbin, but behind the referee's back was assaulted by Riddick Moss (later known as Maniac Moss) from NXT, allowing Corbin to eventually hit the End of Days for the victory.
*Big E d. Keith Lee by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship Keith Lee had surprised everyone by defeating Bobby Lashley in a non-title match on Raw, earning a future shot at the WWE Championship on the same night that Big E cashed in on Lashley to win the title. Lee would be granted his shot first, taking on the New Day Champion at Extreme Rules. After a hard hitting match, Big E was able to finally finish off the Limitless One with a 2nd Rope Big Ending, picking up a hard earned win. After the match, Lee and Big E shook hands as a sign of respect.
*Charlotte Flair d. Piper Niven & Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Match to Win the WWE Women's Championship For several months the Women's Champion Rhea Ripley had been in the orbit of both Charlotte Flair and Piper Niven, with the issue set to finally be resolved in a triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship. To the surprise of some, Ripley and Flair teamed up in the early going to take out the Scottish Siren before fighting between themselves. Niven would get back involved when it appeared that Rhea had the match won after hitting Flair with a Riptide, stopping the pinfall. Before Piper could do any more damage though, Charlotte rolled up the Scotswoman and pinned her, using the ropes for additional leverage, in order to steal the Women's Championship.
*Goldberg d. Bobby Lashley in a Last Man Standing Match The feud between Goldberg and Bobby Lashley had continued, despite the fact that Lashley was no longer the WWE Champion, as the Hall of Famer said that revenge for his son was more important than any title. The two behemoths met in a Last Man Standing Match, which saw them fight all over the arena. In the end, Goldberg would Spear Lashley off the stage through a table below on the floor, and then barely stand to answer the ten count to get the victory and a measure of revenge against the All Mighty.
*Roman Reigns w/Paul Heyman d. Finn Balor in an Extreme Rules Match to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship At the end of Summerslam, Brock Lesnar had made a surprise return to the shock of both Roman Reigns and especially Paul Heyman. In an effort to keep The Beast Incarnate at bay, Reigns had instructed his Special Council Paul Heyman to delay contract negotiations for a match with Lesnar, leaving him "on vacation" for Extreme Rules. This vacation was cut short however by the return of Finn Balor to the main roster, as Balor challenged Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title in an Extreme Rules match (given the choice between Lesnar and Balor by WWE official Adam Pearce, Reigns chose the latter). Balor gave everything he had in the match, but like so many simply fell short as Reigns hit a Spear on the Prince to finish him off and retain the title. After the match though, similarly to Summerslam, Lesnar reappeared on the Titantron with Adam Pearce, signing a contract for his return to WWE and a future shot against Reigns. Lesnar made sure to thank Paul Heyman for the negotiations, leaving Reigns staring at his flabbergasted Special Council to end the show.

NXT Halloween Havoc October 17, 2021 Toyota Arena Ontario, CA
*MSK [Wes Lee & Nash Carter] d. Gallus [Mark & Joe Coffey] by Pinfall Two up and coming teams in NXT fought to establish themselves as top contenders for the tag team titles. The British duo of Mark & Joe Coffey had the early advantage, but the high flying antics of MSK won the day, as Lee hit a Cardiac Kick out of nowhere to pick up the win.
*Carmelo Hayes w/Trick Williams d. Roderick Strong by Pinfall In a huge upset, the self-professed "1 of 1" Carmelo Hayes was able to best former NXT Champion Roderick Strong, hitting the Nothin But Net off the top rope to pick up the victory and score the biggest win of his young career.
*Austin Theory d. Santos Escobar by Pinfall to Retain the North American Title Santos Escobar had won a Fatal Fourway match on NXT television to earn a shot at Austin Theory's championship. In a standard title defense, Theory defeated Santos Escobar to retain the championship, after hitting a low blow behind the referee's back. Theory then finished off Escobar with the A-Town Down to pick up the win and keep his title.
*The Breaker Crew [Bron & Ben Breaker] w/Von Breaker d. Pretty Deadly [Kit Wilson & Elton Prince] by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Tag Team Titles The overtly flamboyant duo of Kit Wilson and Elton Prince challenged The Breakker Crew for the NXT Tag Team Championships, and despite being major underdogs coming into the match they appeared like they might pull off the upset when they got Von Breakker kicked out of ringside by the referee and seemingly hurt the ankle of Ben Breakker. However, Bron Breakker (the son of Rick Steiner) was able to take out both men and pull out the victory, hitting two successive Spears on Wilson and Prince and retaining the titles.
*Mandy Rose d. Raquel Rodriguez by Pinfall to Win the NXT Women's Championship Since being "banished" from the main roster, Mandy Rose had aimed to control the NXT Women's division. Against the recently crowned champion Raquel Rodriguez though, she seemed to have met her match, at least until two masked women came out of the crowd and attacked the champion behind the referee's back (while the referee was inadvertantly being distracted by Io Shirai, who had been named #1 contender to the winner of the title earlier in the week.) The women, later identified as Gigi Dolan and Jacey Jayne, beat down Rodriguez which gave Rose the chance to hit the Bed of Thorns to pick up the unlikely win, and capture the NXT Women's Championship.
*Cameron Grimes & Bronson Reed d. LA Knight & Odyssey Jones by Pinfall The ongoing feud between Cameron Grimes and LA Knight continued, with Grimes challenged the self-professed Megastar to find a tag partner to take on Grimes and his insurance policy, Bronson Reed. He did this in the form of developmental prospect Odyssey Jones. The two big men took each other out for much of the match, leaving Grimes and Knight to fight it out. LA Knight hit Grimes with his finish, the Blunt Force Trauma, but before the referee could make the final count, Reed came off the top rope with his Tsunami Splash, crushing both his employer and his rival in one fell swoop. As resumed his fight with Reed, Grimes was barely able to get his arm over Knight and pick up the win.
*Gunther w/Imperium d. Dijak by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Championship Dominik Dijakovic, now going simply by the name Dijak, was the latest to challenge Gunther for the NXT Championship, as the Ring General continued his dominant run. Bobby Roode, who had challenged Gunther back in August, acted as Special Guest Referee to ensure that Imperium couldn't get involved in the match. For the most part Dragunov, Kaiser and Vinci did stay out of the mix, as Gunther was able to hit a big splash from the top to retain the championship. When all four men looked to gang up on the referee, Roode was joined by several other competitors, including Carmelo Hayes and Bron Breakker, as the 5 stood tall against the force of Imperium to close the show.

WWE King & Queen of the Ring October 24, 2021 Batakan Stadium Balikpapan, Indonesia
*Liv Morgan d. Zelina Vega by Pinfall to win the Queen of the Ring Tournament WWE held both a King of the Ring and a first ever Queen of the Ring tournament at this event in Indonesia, with the winners of each tournament going on to receive a world championship match at the Day One event at the start of January. In the inagural Queen of the Ring tournament, two underdogs in Liv Morgan and Zelina Vega encountered one another. Despite Vega working over Morgan's injured arm, Morgan was able to catch Miss Puerto Rico with a jumping DDT called the Oblivion to pick up the win and the title of Queen.
*Grizzled Young Veterans [James Drake & Zach Gibson] d. Alpha Academy [Chad Gable & Otis] by Pinfall to Retain the World Tag Team Titles In a standard title defense, the Grizzled Young Veterans took on the Alpha Academy, with its cantankerous head instructor Chad Gable and his "star pupil" Otis. Despite the obvious power advantage with Otis, the Grizzled Young Veterans hit a massive double suplex from the second rope to the massive man, before then hitting an elbow drop off the top rope to pick up the win and retain the World Tag Team Titles.
*Lucky Corbin w/Maniac Moss d. King Nakamura w/Rick Boogs by Pinfall to Win the Intercontinental Title Since winning his jackpot in Las Vegas, the newly christened "Lucky" Corbin had been on a massive winning streak. He was aided in no small part by the presence of his "hype man" Maniac Moss in his corner. This led Corbin to challenge the man who had taken the title of King from him earlier in the year, Shinsuke Nakamura, for the Intercontinental Title. It appeared that Corbin's luck had run out when Nakamura hit him with a Boma Ye and got a visible pin, however the referee was distracted by a fight between Moss and Rick Boogs on the outside. This gave Corbin enough time to get back to his feet with some brass knuckles and then KO Nakamura behind the referee's back. Corbin then pinned the champion for the victory, revenge, and the Intercontinental Championship.
*Becky Lynch d. Sasha Banks by Pinfall to Retain the Women's World Championship Sasha Banks had defeated Bianca Belair (under somewhat dubious means) to earn a shot at the Women's World Champion, Becky Lynch. Making matters more interesting was the fact that Belair would serve as the Special Guest Referee of the match. The EST of WWE called the match down the middle, but when Lynch attempted to use a steel chair to cheat her way to victory, Belair pulled the chair from behind, leading to an argument. Banks then hit a Backstabber on Lynch and locked in the Banks Statement, as Lynch nearly tapped out, but The Man managed to get a foot under the rope, leading to Belair physically breaking the hold. Banks and Belair then argued, but Sasha turned around into a Manhandle Slam. Becky then made the cover as Belair reluctantly counted the three. After raising her hand in victory though, Belair gained a measure of revenge against the champion, hitting her with the KOD and posing for the fans.
*Seth Rollins d. Xavier Woods by Pinfall to Win the King of the Ring Tournament In the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, Xavier Woods of the New Day had made it his stated goal to finally achieve "something of note" as a singles competitor. He went up against former WWE Champion, Seth Rollins, who had negotiated a "free agent" deal for himself upon his return to active competition, meaning he could appear on Raw or Smackdown with impunity. Woods looked like he would pull off the upset after hitting the Limit Break Elbow, but Rollins was barely able to get a shoulder up. Woods went for the elbow a second time, but Rollins moved out of the way and then hit a Curb Stomp for the win. As Rollins celebrated with his crown, a despondant Woods was helped to the back by Kofi Kingston.
*Charlotte Flair d. Rhea Ripley in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match to Retain the WWE Women's Championship The feud between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley finally reached its climax for the Women's Title, with Piper Niven barred from the arena and a 2 out of 3 Falls stipulation attached. Charlotte won the first fall via submission, hooking Rhea in the Figure 8 and getting a victory that way. Rhea was able to overcome the injured knee though and hit a Riptide on Charlotte to win the second fall and even the score. Rhea attempted a top rope Riptide on Charlotte, but Flair was able to knock her off the top rope, before hitting a twisting Moonsault into a pinning combination to pick up the third and final fall for a victory. After the match, the Queen and Rhea were able to shake hands as a sign of sportsmanship.
*Big E d. Goldberg by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship After besting Bobby Lashley in a Last Man Standing Match, Goldberg was willing to challenge the WWE Champion "one last time" taking on Big E in what the champion described as a "dream match." The dream nearly turned into a nightmare, as Goldberg speared Big E for a two count right out of the gate. However Big E kicked out and, after a hard hitting contest, managed to hit Goldberg with his own version of the Jackhammer to pick up the pinfall victory, earning the respect of Da Man in the process.
*The Bloodline [Roman Reigns & The Usos] d. Finn Balor & RK-Bro [Randy Orton & Matt Riddle] by Pinfall Following Brock Lesnar's successful renegotiations with WWE, which he credited to "his old friend" Paul Heyman, the Wiseman was cast out of the Bloodline, leaving Reigns and the Usos to handle their business alone. Taking on Finn Balor and RK-Bro in a six man tag match, they were able to score a victory after Reigns hit Matt Riddle with a Spear after narrowly dodging an RKO attempt from Orton. As the Bloodline celebrated though, Brock Lesnar's music hit and he again came out to the ring, this time flanked by Paul Heyman. Lesnar didn't back down from the Bloodline, as Reigns sent the Usos to try and take out the Beast Incarnate, while Reigns slithered away unharmed. Lesnar took out both of the Usos with F-5's and then stared down Reigns as Heyman smiled at his former tribal chief as the show closed.

*Omos Won a 25 Man Battle Royal To celebrate the 25th Anniversary since the debut of The Rock, a special 25 Man Battle Royal was held featuring talent from Raw, Smackdown, and NXT throughout. The final four came down to The Miz, Apollo Crews, Omos and Keith Lee. Lee eliminated The Miz, but was then faced with the prospect of facing down both Crews and his disciple, Omos. To the surprise of many though, Omos turned on his employer and eliminated Crews, leaving just he and the Limitless One. Despite Lee's strength, Omos was eventually able to power out the former US Champion, giving the victory to the Nigerian Giant.
*Bray Wyatt d. Dolph Ziggler by Pinfall Bray Wyatt had made his return after a several month absence on Raw, appearing not as The Fiend or as his cult leader gimmick, but rather "as close to himself as he ever could be." Dolph Ziggler didn't buy Wyatt's "change of heart" and challenged him to a match at Survivor Series to try and prove that Wyatt was still as dark as ever. The two had a fairly normal match until the end as Wyatt was setting up Ziggler for Sister Abigail, only for the Titantron to glitch out and a message reading "Embrace Who You Are" appearing on screen. This distracted Wyatt momentarily, and Ziggler nearly got the win with the Zig Zag, only for Wyatt to kick out. Bray then caught Ziggler with Sister Abigail to pick up the win, only to look back at the now normal screen with concern on his face.
*The Rock 25th Anniversary Segment The Rock made a special appearance on WWE television, one of a rare number since he was "banished" from in-ring competition nearly a decade earlier by a loss to Triple H at Wrestlemania 29. While the Rock reflected on his Hall of Fame career and his love of the WWE, the party was crashed by the appearance of The Bloodline. Roman Reigns and the Usos demanded that The Rock (distantly related to them through his grandfather, the High Chief Peter Maivia) acknowledge Roman as his Tribal Chief. The Rock appeared to do so, only to insult both the Usos and Roman by acknowledging "their candy-asses". This led to the Bloodline ruthlessly attacking The Rock, including power bombing him through the Spanish Announce Table with a Triple Powerbomb. Paramedics then came out along with Triple H and helped the Rock to the back, later loading him in an ambulance to receive medical attention.

*The Unholy Union [Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn] d. Mia Yim & Xia Li by Pinfall to Win the Women's Tag Team Titles A newly created tag team called the Unholy Union, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, challenged the Asian-American team of Mia Yim and Xia Li for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles. The Wiccan Duo kept Yim and Li off balance, with Alba Fyre eventually hitting a Gory Bomb on Xia Li to pick up the win and capture the Tag Team Titles.
*Team McIntyre [Drew McIntyre, Johnny Gargano, AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Randy Orton, Matt Riddle & Xavier Woods] d. Team Judgment Day [Edge, Damian Priest, Dexter Lumis, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Tomasso Ciampa & Seth Rollins] in a Survivor Series Match - Tomasso Ciampa d. Johnny Gargano by Submission - Matt Riddle d. *Roman Reigns d. Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship After weeks of hype, Brock Lesnar (newly reunited with his former agent, Paul Heyman) finally got his one opportunity at the World Heavyweight Champion, the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. It was made clear prior to the match that if Lesnar failed to win the title, he would not receive another championship match as long as Roman was champion. The two had a hard hitting match with Brock hitting several German Suplexes and Roman trying to choke out Brock with a Guillotine Choke. At one point Brock hit an F-5, only for the referee to accidentally get caught with Roman's feet. Brock eventually revived the ref as Heyman looked on. The referee counted two, only to be drug out of the ring by Heyman, as the Wiseman revealed that the tension between himself and the Bloodline were all a ruse to try and get Lesnar out of the title picture. Lesnar chased Heyman around the ring and back into it, only to run headlong into a Spear from Roman. Reigns then hit a second Spear as Heyman tossed the referee back into the ring to count the fall, as the Bloodline and their tactics reigned supreme again to close the show.
