Great job, mate! Your standings aren't very far off the real ones, but there are some changes, which is cool. It's realistic and revolutionary in the same time. Now... you have some 130+ seasons to go! Thanks! Pretty happy with how it turned out, although getting the skill level right this first season is pretty easy. Not much of a clue as the why Blackburn did so badly though as their overall rating matched Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Unfortunately it only gets harder from here as new teams join the league, the number of teams increases and new divisions are formed.
Still, one down, one hundred thirty whatever to go

1889 AGM Vote Results
Birmingham St George's: 4
Bootle: 0
Burnley: 2
Derby County: 5
Grimsby Town: 0
Newton Heath:1 Notts County: 4
South Shore: 0
Stoke: 1
Sunderland: 2
Sunderland Albion: 1
Walsall Town Swifts: 3
The Wednesday: 1
Thank you to everyone who voted on this, it really helps with the process of setting this up to not have only my opinion setting up league re-election. In real life this vote saw all four teams re-elected (Derby County, Notts County, Burnley and Stoke). Next season will be a slight step-up in work for me as I'll be simulating the Football Alliance, which I can also post the results of if people are interested, although current the plan is to just post the final table. Expect the start of the 1889/90 season hopefully tomorrow

1889-90 Season
Week 1 & 2 Preview
Week 1 Blackburn Rovers vs. Aston Villa Derby County vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers Everton vs. Birmingham St George's Highlight: Walsall Town Swifts vs. West Bromwich Albion Bolton Wanderers vs. Preston North End Accrington vs. Notts County
Highlight: What could possibly be a more interesting start to the season than a trip to the Chuckery for a match between two local rivals? Walsall make their debut in the league following a recent string a strong results against Football League sides, including West Brom, who having finished mid table in the previous Football League season provide a good measuring stick to judge the Swifts team against.
Week 2 Highlight: Aston Villa vs. Accrington Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Blackburn Rovers Birmingham St George's vs. Derby County West Bromwich Albion vs. Everton Preston North End vs. Walsall Town Swifts Notts County vs. Bolton Wanderers
Highlight: Both of these teams showed some great promise last season, with Accrington having an incredible early run of form that even saw them leading the league early on in the season. They'll be looking to repeat this early success as they take on Aston Villa who will almost certainly be looking to make the step up after finishing 3rd in a league of their own making, particularly considering that the Dragons, their biggest rivals were voted into the league.
Going to do some quick credits here, as this really wouldn't be possible without sites such as Wikipedia (general info), Logopedia (oldest badges), League Simulator (the Sim), Non-League Matters (Election Candidate Clubs), The Sports DB (defunct club badges) and Hotpot.ai (fictional club badges) which have provided the simulator, logos and just general information that I've been using to craft this sim.
