Impact Wrestling Turning Point 2013 was a night of surprises, shocks and high-stakes action. Here is a report of what happened on the show:
The first match of the night was a TNA World Heavyweight Title Tournament Quarter Final Falls Count Anywhere Match between Magnus and Samoa Joe. The two former friends and tag team partners battled all over the arena, using chairs, trash cans and even a forklift as weapons. The match seemed to be in Joe's favor, until a masked man appeared and attacked him with a steel chain. The masked man was revealed to be Abyss, who helped Magnus pin Joe for the win. Magnus advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament, while Abyss declared his allegiance to him.
The second match was a Non Title Match between Gail Kim, the reigning Knockouts Champion, and Candice LeRae, an independent wrestler who was given a chance to earn a spot in the Knockouts Division. Gail Kim underestimated her opponent and tried to finish her off quickly, but LeRae showed resilience and fought back with agility and skill. LeRae managed to counter Kim's Eat Defeat finisher into a roll-up pin and scored a shocking upset victory. LeRae earned herself a contract and a future title shot against Kim.
The third match was another TNA World Heavyweight Title Tournament Quarter Final Tables Match between Bobby Roode and James Storm. The two former Beer Money partners had a heated rivalry that dated back to 2011, when Roode turned on Storm and cost him the world title. The match was a brutal brawl that saw both men use tables as weapons and try to put each other through them. Roode eventually gained the upper hand by hitting Storm with a low blow and then powerbombing him through a table for the win. Roode moved on to the semi-finals of the tournament, while Storm was left lying in the wreckage.
The fourth match was a Singles Match between Ethan Carter III, the nephew of TNA President Dixie Carter, and Shark Boy, a fan favorite who had not been seen in TNA for a long time. EC3 had been dominating his opponents with ease since his debut, but Shark Boy proved to be more than he bargained for. Shark Boy used his speed and comedy to frustrate EC3 and get some near falls. EC3 eventually got angry and hit Shark Boy with his Headlock Driver finisher for the win. EC3 celebrated his victory, while Shark Boy received a standing ovation from the crowd.
The main event of the night was a Career Vs. Leadership Of Aces And Eights Tables Match between Mr. Anderson and Bully Ray, the leader of the notorious biker gang. The stipulations were that if Anderson won, he would be free from Aces And Eights and also get a spot in the three-way world title match whenever Bully Ray cashed in his contractually obligated rematch clause. If Bully Ray won, Anderson would have to retire from wrestling. The match was a violent war that saw both men use tables, chairs, hammers and even fire as weapons. Bully Ray had the support of his girlfriend Brooke and his Aces And Eights brothers, but Anderson had the support of the fans and his former allies in the Main Event Mafia. The match ended when Anderson hit Bully Ray with a Mic Check through a flaming table for the win. Anderson celebrated his freedom and his future title opportunity.

Impact Wrestling #491:
The show opened with a thrilling 2/3 falls match between Jeff Hardy and Bobby Roode, who were both vying for a spot in the finals of the TNA World Heavyweight Title Tournament. The first fall went to Hardy, who hit a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb for the pin. Roode bounced back in the second fall, catching Hardy with a spinebuster and locking in the Crossface for the submission. The third and decisive fall saw both men exchange near falls and signature moves, until Hardy finally put Roode away with another Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb.
Next, we saw Ethan Carter III in action against Harter Rowland, a local wrestler who was clearly outmatched by the self-proclaimed future of wrestling. EC3 dominated the match from start to finish, taunting his opponent and the fans along the way. He ended the match with a DDT and pinned Rowland with one finger, making a statement to the TNA roster.
The TNA Tag Team Titles were on the line as The BroMans defended against Gunner and James Storm, who had earned a shot at the titles by winning a gauntlet match last week. The challengers had the upper hand for most of the match, using their power and experience to overpower the champions. However, The BroMans had some help from their allies, as Zema Ion distracted the referee and Rockstar Spud, EC3's assistant, interfered and hit Storm with a low blow. This allowed Jessie Godderz to roll up Storm and retain the titles for his team.
The TNA Knockouts Title was also up for grabs in a three-way match between Gail Kim, Laura Dennis and Madison Rayne. Candice Lerae, who had recently debuted in TNA, joined the commentary team to scout her potential opponents. The match was fast-paced and competitive, with all three women showing their skills and determination. Gail Kim managed to retain her title after hitting Laura Dennis with Eat Defeat, while Madison Rayne was taken out by Lei'D Tapa, Gail's bodyguard.
The main event of the night was another semi-final match in the TNA World Heavyweight Title Tournament, featuring Magnus and Kurt Angle in a last man standing match. The two former allies turned rivals gave it their all in a brutal and intense match that saw them use chairs, tables and steel steps as weapons. Angle seemed to have the match won when he hit Magnus with an Angle Slam through a table, but Jessie Godderz ran out and revived Magnus before the referee counted to ten. Angle then took out Godderz with an ankle lock, but this gave Magnus enough time to recover and hit Angle with a steel chair. Magnus then stood over Angle as the referee counted him out, advancing to the finals of the tournament.

Impact Wrestling Final Resolution 2013 was a pay-per-view event that took place on December 15, 2013 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. The main event was the final match of the TNA World Heavyweight Title Tournament, where Magnus faced Jeff Hardy in a Dixieland match with special referee Ethan Carter 3 and special enforcer Rockstar Spud. The show also featured a tag team cage match, a relaxed rules match for the World Tag Title briefcase, and a TNA World Tag Team Title match.
The show opened with the TNA World Tag Team Title match, where The BroMans (Jessie Godderz & Robbie E) defended their belts against Eric Young & Bobby Roode. The challengers dominated most of the match, until Roode accidentally hit Young with a clothesline, allowing The BroMans to take advantage. However, before they could finish off Young, Roode recovered and attacked them with a steel chair, causing a disqualification. Roode then continued to assault The BroMans with the chair, while Young tried to stop him. Roode then left the ring, leaving Young confused and frustrated.
Next, we saw a backstage segment where Bobby Roode was seen in his locker room, holding a beer bottle. He said that it was about time he mended a fence and put a team back together. He then walked out of the locker room, leaving the bottle behind.
The second match of the night was a tag team cage match, where Madison Rayne & Candice Lerae faced Gail Kim & Lei'D Tapa. This was Rayne's return match after being away for several months due to pregnancy. She teamed up with Lerae, who had impressed her with her performance in the Knockouts division. Kim and Tapa were the dominant duo in the division, and they tried to use their power and size advantage to overwhelm their opponents. However, Rayne and Lerae showed great resilience and teamwork, and managed to escape the cage after hitting Kim with a double dropkick from the top rope.
The third match was a relaxed rules match for the World Tag Title briefcase, where James Storm defended his possession against Gunner. The briefcase contained a contract for a future TNA World Tag Team Title shot, which Storm had won in a Feast or Fired match. Gunner had also participated in that match, and had grabbed another briefcase that contained a pink slip. However, Storm had offered to trade his briefcase with Gunner's out of friendship and respect. Gunner had refused, saying that he wanted to earn his title shot fair and square. Storm had agreed to put his briefcase on the line against Gunner in a friendly match. The match was hard-hitting and intense, as both men showed their determination and passion. Near the end of the match, Bobby Roode came out to ringside with his beer bottle. He pretended to cheer for both men, but then smashed the bottle over Gunner's head when he was on the apron. Storm then hit Gunner with his signature Last Call superkick and pinned him to retain his briefcase. After the match, Roode entered the ring and hugged Storm, revealing that they had reunited as Beer Money, one of the most successful tag teams in TNA history. They then celebrated with their signature taunt and pose.
The main event was the Dixieland match for the vacant TNA World Heavyweight Title, where Magnus faced Jeff Hardy. The title had been vacated by AJ Styles, who had left TNA after defeating Bully Ray at Bound for Glory 2013. A tournament had been held to crown a new champion, and Magnus and Hardy had advanced to the final round. A Dixieland match was a special stipulation where the competitors had to escape a steel cage, climb a ladder on the stage, and retrieve the title belt hanging above it. The match was also made more interesting by the presence of Ethan Carter 3 as the special referee and Rockstar Spud as the special enforcer. Both men were allies of Dixie Carter, the president of TNA who had been feuding with AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy over their loyalty to her company. Magnus was also seen as Dixie's chosen one, as she had offered him a lucrative contract to join her side. Magnus had refused at first, but later accepted after losing to Kurt Angle in a Last Man Standing match.
The match was an epic battle between two of TNA's top stars, who gave it their all to become the new champion. Magnus showed his technical prowess and strength, while Hardy displayed his high-flying skills and resilience. Both men escaped the cage several times, but were stopped by each other or by EC3 and Spud on the stage. At one point, Hardy hit Magnus with a Twist of Fate on the stage, and then climbed the ladder to reach for the title. However, EC3 pushed the ladder over, sending Hardy crashing through a table. Magnus then climbed the ladder and grabbed the title, becoming the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. After the match, Dixie Carter came out to congratulate Magnus, and raised his hand in victory. EC3 and Spud also joined them, and they celebrated together. Hardy was left lying on the broken table, as the show went off the air.

Impact Wrestling #492:
Impact Wrestling #492 opened with a thrilling triple threat match for the Knockouts Championship, as Madison Rayne challenged Gail Kim and Candice Lerae. The match was fast-paced and full of action, with all three women showing their skills and determination. Gail Kim seemed to have the upper hand, as her bodyguard Lei'D Tapa neutralized Candice Lerae on the outside. However, as Gail Kim was about to finish off Madison Rayne with the Eat Defeat, Taryn Terrell made a surprise return and attacked Gail Kim, allowing Madison Rayne to roll her up for the pin and win the title.
The next match was for the X-Division Championship, as Chris Sabin defended against Austin Aries. This was a classic X-Division match, with both men displaying their high-flying and technical abilities. Austin Aries had the support of Nicole Savoy, who countered Velvet Sky's interference. Aries hit Sabin with the Brainbuster and went for the 450 Splash, but Sabin moved out of the way and hit Aries with a low blow behind the referee's back. Sabin then covered Aries for the three count and retained his title.
The third match was a showcase of Samuel Shaw's creepy character, as he faced Norv Fernum. Shaw dominated the match with his power and aggression, while Fernum tried to fight back with his speed and agility. Shaw ended the match with a Torture Rack-Powerbomb, and then proceeded to stalk Christy Hemme, who was at ringside as an interviewer. Shaw grabbed Hemme and tried to kiss her, but she slapped him and ran away.
The fourth match was a tag team match between Beer Money and Gunner & Kurt Angle. This was a hard-hitting and competitive match, with both teams working well together. Beer Money had the advantage of their experience and chemistry, while Gunner & Angle had the edge in strength and intensity. The match ended when Gunner hit Storm with a spear, but Roode broke up the pin. Angle then hit Roode with an Angle Slam, but Storm superkicked Angle. Storm then tagged in Roode, who hit Gunner with the Payoff for the win.
The main event was for the TNA World Championship, as Magnus defended against Samoa Joe. This was a brutal and physical match, with both men trading blows and submissions. Magnus tried to use his cunning and charisma to outsmart Joe, while Joe relied on his power and ferocity to overpower Magnus. The match reached its climax when Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch on Magnus, but Abyss appeared from under the ring and attacked Joe with Janice, his spiked bat. Abyss then dragged Joe under the ring, while Magnus recovered and pinned Joe for the victory.
However, Magnus' celebration was cut short by a shocking invasion. The lights went out, and when they came back on, three masked men were in the ring with Magnus. They attacked Magnus with chairs and superkicks, leaving him laying on the mat. One of them then grabbed the old TNA World Title belt that Magnus had thrown away when he won the new one. He unmasked himself and revealed himself to be none other than AJ Styles, who had left TNA months ago after refusing to sign a new contract. The other two men also unmasked themselves and showed their faces to be Matt & Nick Jackson, better known as The Young Bucks from New Japan Pro Wrestling. They then posed over Magnus' body with their signature gesture, indicating that they were part of The Bullet Club, NJPW's dominant faction. The show ended with Styles holding up both TNA World Titles, while The Young Bucks held up their IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.

Bullet club In tna 2014? This might be cool. Will they be face group fighting the heelish dixieland or will they be heels themselves or tweeners? Will Jarrett still form global force wrestling or will of the wrestlers their debut for tna instead? Will you partner up with lucha underground?

Impact Wrestling #493: The Space is officially crowded.
The show kicked off with a four-way match between Allysin Kay, Crazy Mary Dobson, Vanessa Kraven and Leva Bates. The action was fast and furious, with all four women showing their skills and toughness. In the end, Allysin Kay hit a devastating powerbomb into a cutter on Leva Bates and pinned her for the win.
We then saw a backstage segment where former Knockouts champion Gail Kim was chatting with Brandi Wine and La Rosa Negra. They seemed to be on friendly terms, but Gail Kim warned them not to underestimate the current champion, Madison Rayne.
Next up was a tables match between Ethan Carter III and Tommy Dreamer. The hardcore legend gave EC3 a run for his money, putting him through several near-falls and close calls. However, EC3 managed to avoid going through a table himself and got some help from Zema Ion, who distracted the referee and hit Dreamer with a low blow. EC3 then slammed Dreamer through a table and celebrated his victory.
The third match of the night was a non-title Xscape match, where the winner would earn a future shot at the X-Division title. The champion, Chris Sabin, had to face three challengers: Austin Aries, ACH and Kushida. The match was a high-flying spectacle, with all four men displaying their agility and innovation. The rules of the match were that the first person to escape the cage would win, but they had to go through the door, not over the top. After several attempts by each competitor, Austin Aries managed to sneak out of the door while the others were busy fighting and claimed the victory.
The main event of the night was a tag team match between Bobby Roode & James Storm and NJPW Dojo II (Black Tiger & Magnitude Kishiwada). The former Beer Money partners showed great chemistry and teamwork, while the Japanese duo put up a good fight with their power and speed. The match ended when Roode hit the Roode Bomb on Black Tiger and Storm followed up with the Last Call superkick for the pinfall.
The show ended with a shocking twist, as Magnus defended his World Heavyweight title against Tajarri in a no interference, falls count in the ring match. Magnus dominated most of the match, but Tajarri showed some resilience and fought back with some impressive moves. However, Magnus was too much for him and finished him off with a Mag Daddy Driver for the pinfall. As Magnus celebrated his title defense, a mysterious video played on the screen. It showed a man in blackened face paint, who said "Revel in your Madness, Revolution will be televised." The camera then panned to the ring, where Sting had appeared out of nowhere and hit Magnus with a DDT! Sting stood over Magnus with the title belt in his hand, as the show went off the air.

TNA Xplosion #485:
The show opened with a thrilling match between Biff Busick and Zack Sabre Jr., two of the best technical wrestlers in the world. The match was a back-and-forth affair, with both men exchanging holds, counters, and strikes. Busick showed his power and aggression, while Sabre Jr. displayed his finesse and creativity. The end came when Busick caught Sabre Jr. in a crossface chickenwing and forced him to tap out.
Next, we saw a backstage segment where Attorney Sofia Valdez approached Knockout's Champion Madison Rayne and asked her to follow her to her office. Valdez said she had some important news for Rayne, but did not reveal what it was. Rayne looked confused and worried as she followed Valdez.
The next match was for the TNA Global TV Title, as Abyss defended against Roderick Strong. Abyss was accompanied by EC3, who had hired him as his bodyguard. Strong was the underdog in this match, as he had to deal with Abyss' size and strength, as well as EC3's interference. However, Strong used his speed and skill to avoid Abyss' attacks and hit him with several kicks and chops. The match took a shocking turn when a familiar face appeared on the ramp: Dolph Ziggler, who had recently left WWE. Ziggler distracted EC3 and Abyss, allowing Strong to hit a super kick on Abyss and pin him for the win. Ziggler then entered the ring and celebrated with Strong, revealing that they were allies.
The next match was for the TNA World Tag Team Titles, as The Zero Project (David Starr & JT Dunn) challenged The BroMans (Jessie Godderz & Robbie E) with Zema Ion. The Zero Project were the fan favorites in this match, as they had impressed the audience with their innovative and high-flying offense. The BroMans were the arrogant and cocky champions, who relied on their muscles and their manager. The match was fast-paced and exciting, with both teams showing their teamwork and chemistry. The finish came when Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, who had been feuding with The BroMans, came out to interfere. However, their plan backfired, as they accidentally hit The Zero Project with their signature moves, causing the referee to disqualify The BroMans. The BroMans retained their titles, but were attacked by Sabin and Shelley after the match. Beer Money also came out to join the brawl, as they had a history with both teams.
The main event of the night was the TNA Gutcheck 2014 Final 3-Way, where MJF faced Rich Swann and Joey Janela. These three men had earned their spots in this match by winning their respective qualifying matches earlier in the month. The winner of this match would earn a TNA contract and a future title shot of their choice. The match was a showcase of three different styles: MJF was the arrogant and cunning heel, Swann was the charismatic and athletic babyface, and Janela was the hardcore and unpredictable wild card. The match was full of action, drama, and surprises, as all three men gave it their all to impress the fans and the management. The climax came when MJF hit Swann with a low blow behind the referee's back, then pinned Janela after hitting him with his finisher, the Salt of the Earth (a Fujiwara armbar). MJF celebrated his victory by taunting the fans and claiming that he was better than everyone else.
