 AUSTIN INJURES PILLMAN. THE LEGION OF DOOM RETURN. HELMSLEY WINS THE WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE
October 21. 1996
The night after Buried Alive, crazy things happened on RAW. First, Hunter Hearst Helmsley captured the Intercontinental Championship for the second time over Marc Mero and the second was the Legion of Doom made their return as they would be Shawn Michaels and Sycho Sid's partners for Survivor Series against Vader, Owen Hart, British Bulldog & Jim Cornette. But in the segment between Stone Cold Steve Austin & Brian Pillman. Austin questioned Pillman on why he was so happy that Bret Hart returned to the WWF!. Pillman said that he wanted Austin to fight the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. Austin then attacked Pillman and placed the chair on Pillman's knee and broke it. |

 PILLMAN'S GOT A GUN
November 4. 1996
2 weeks ago. Stone Cold Steve Austin injured Brian Pillman, a week later. Austin threatened to come to Pillman's home next week. Kevin Kelly recently talked to Brian Pillman about his recovery and injury. Pillman said that he had reconstructive surgery on his ankle and that he's alive and well. He said that there's a fine line between business and private line. Austin crossed that line. Pillman then said that Austin was vulnerable and that he didn't feel a hostage and said that Steve was a Deadman Walking and when Austin 3:16 meets Pillman 9 MM. Pillman said that he was going to send Austin to hell after he shoots him. Austin attacked Pillman's neighborhood friends in Pillman's home and then came inside to confront Pillman with Pillman holding the gun. Pillman had the gun cocked, locked and loaded, but as he was getting ready to shoot, the camera cut to static, the live feed returned with Kevin Kelly announcing that a shot wasn't fired. Austin returned to the house with Austin being held back by Pillman's neighborhood friends as Pillman continued to hold the gun telling them to let Austin go. USA Network was not happy about this. The WWF. Vince McMahon. Brian Pillman & Stone Cold Steve Austin have apologized for their actions. |

 Furnas & Lafon made their Survivor Series debuts as they became the sole survivors of the first match.
 The Undertaker descended into Madison Square Garden to get his revenge on Mankind as he was dressed in all black attire.
 The Deadman & Mankind continued their fight once more similar to WrestleMania, King of The Ring, Summerslam & Buried Alive In Your House!.
 This was a far more dominant Undertaker than ever before.
 Mankind desperately tried to use his Mandible Claw to put down The Undertaker.
 But the Deadman put down the Deranged One with a Chokeslam & Tombstoning him to the mat having Undertaker get his second win over Mankind, and then after. Taker would attack Paul Bearer as well.

Dreamer & Lawler were both bloodied and bladed on one another.
 But with surprising help from Rob Van Dam. Jerry Lawler would win this WWF vs ECW War over Tommy Dreamer.
 The Survivor Series was filled with debuts as Flash Funk made his WWF Debut teaming up with Ahmed Johnson, The Godwinns & Savio Vega against Faarooq's Nation of Domination consisting of Crush, Kama, Faarooq, Mabel & Fatu who both recently came back in October.

 And in his debut. The Young Rookie picked up an impressive victory by getting the win for his team by last eliminating Goldust.
 Despite issues with Shawn Michaels and Sycho Sid. Shawn Michaels's team won the match and that allowed Shawn Michaels to earn himself a title match at the 1997 Royal Rumble in his hometown.

 This is what Austin wanted, he wanted the Hitman and he got that fight.
 Austin dominated the opening moments for the majority of the match
 But Bret Hart in classic fashion would fight back in this match.
 The fight could've gone either way at least. Austin & Bret did not make sure one of them would dominate the majority of the middle part and the late part of the match.
 Austin would eventually put the Hitman down with the stunner, but didn't find the strength to cover him at all.
 Austin would try to make a mockery of Bret by delivering the sharpshooter on Hart but Hart was able to get to the ropes in time.

 Bret may have won the match, but he didn't seem happy about something, what was it?.

 Also during the Triple Threat Intercontinental Title Match, a black haired mystery woman was in the crowd choking out Marlena, after the match. The mystery Woman attacked Sable as well and celebrated with Hunter Hearst Helmsley.

 Bret Hart & Vader faced off in the main event for the World Wrestling Federation Championship with Vader having an impressive run as Champion, but the Hitman wanted his belt back.
 Despite kicking out of the Vaderbomb. Bret locked in the Sharpshooter on the Mastadon, the Mastadon reached the ropes but Bret continued to fight on and pulled Vader to the sharpshooter and Vader tapped out making Bret a 4-time WWF Champion closing out the year of 1996.
 The Hitman was back as Champion, but his first title defense in the new year would be at the Royal Rumble when he would face Shawn Michaels in Michaels's home state of Texas.

 Ahmed Johnson would get his redemption against Faarooq, but he got the win by disqualifaction, however Ahmed did a little more damage to the Nation of Domination.

 However the Royal Rumble Winner went to The 1996 King of The Ring, Stone Cold Steve Austin in his Texas Hometown as he is guaranteed a title shot at WrestleMania 13!
 The Royal Rumble ended with the rematch from WrestleMania 12 between Bret Hart & Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship in Shawn Michaels's hometown.
 But in a shocking twist and turn of events when the referee was knocked down. Owen Hart & British Bulldog came down to attack Shawn Michaels. Bret came in and waved Owen & Bulldog off, but then he attacked Shawn as well. The Alamodome was stunned at why Bret would help Owen & Bulldog beat up Shawn. Bret then pinned Shawn to retain the WWF Title!.
 Trash was pelted at The Hitman in the Texas Crowd!. But Bret didn't seem to care as he had a smile on his face as Owen & Bulldog celebrated with him. It seemed like The Hart Foundation has reformed once again!.

He was screwed by not only two people, Shawn Michaels & Vince McMahon, but the fans too. Bret said he had time to think and when he returned in October. The fans turned his back on him cause they were cheering for a guy who loves posing for naked magazines and a guy who loves to spew out his venom by using colorful language in the World Wrestling Federation, he said that both Shawn Michaels & Stone Cold Steve Austin are the reason why America is more popular than Canada. Bret said that he despises the American Fans who buy into that shit. And that's why he's reunited alongside Owen Hart & British Bulldog and together, they were going to embarass their Wrestling Heroes of America cause from now on, there was a time where he used to respect the American Fans. The problem is now that he doesn't respect them cause they want to cheer for guys like Shawn Michaels & Stone Cold Steve Austin. There's going to be a new set of rules from now on now that Bret, Owen & Bulldog have reunited once more. |
