Jeff Hardy made his way through the finals, he qualified by defeating Hardcore Holly and in the quarter-finals defeated his brother Matt Hardy and Eddie Guerrero in the semi-finals, but would he score the biggest upset in WWF History and become the 2000 King of The Ring!.
 Also Kurt Angle advanced to the King of The Ring Finals by qualifying, first defeating Mark Henry to advance, and then beat Owen Hart in the quarter-finals. Chris Jericho in the semis and was on his way to face Jeff Hardy.

 William Regal became the WWF European Champion in his in-ring debut by defeating Eddie Guerrero at Fully Loaded.
 X-Pac won back the WWF Light Heavyweight Title by defeating Matt Hardy.
 Steven Richards wanted to cleanse change in the World Wrestling Federation and he did just that with his first recruiter Bull Buchanan as he & Bull Buchanan defeated The Godfather in a Handicap Match in which The Godfather would be forced to join the Right To Censor!.
 Once again the Hardcore Title was chaotic as Steve Blackman once again captured the Hardcore Title despite Perry Saturn winning the Hardcore Title on a Sunday Night Heat Match and Dean Malenko winning it backstage only for Crash Holly to win the belt again, but Steve Blackman would win the title again.
 The Big Show would help Edge & Christian capture the WWF Tag Team Titles over Kane & The Undertaker. Shane McMahon watched as The Big Show chokeslammed Kane off the stage after the match and then he returned to the ring and powerbombed The Undertaker not once, not twice but three times.
 Perhaps the dream match everybody had been waiting to see as 2000 King of The Ring, Kurt Angle took on the 1994 King of The Ring, Owen Hart in the battle of the kings.
 But it was Angle that picked up the clean victory after making Owen submit.
 The war between Chris Jericho and Triple H continued to brew as the two faced off in a No Holds Barred Match.
 The Game did all he could to put down Jericho by hitting a pedigree but defiantly Jericho kicked out.
 However in the end it would be Jericho that made Triple H submit to the Walls of Jericho getting a shocking victory.
 Despite losing the Intercontinental Title weeks ago. Chris Benoit wanted to try to get his hand at the World Wrestling Federation Championship.
 Benoit had Shane McMahon in his corner as Shane tried to help Benoit capture the WWF Championship over The Rock.
 But it was The Rock that held on and retained the WWF Championship against The Rabid Wolverine.
 But after the match. Chris Jericho came down and stood face to face with The Rock declaring his shot at the WWF Championship!. |

 STEPHANIE MCMAHON CATCHES TRIPLE H IN AN UNCOMPRISING POSITION

Triple H was scheduled to team up with Trish Stratus to take on The Rock & Lita in a Tag Team Match. Triple H was teaching Trish some holds, but all of a sudden as Triple H was teaching Trish an unusual hold. Stephanie McMahon showed up and caught Triple H with Trish with Stephanie storming out the room. |
