I've re-opened Evolve with Eric Bischoff. MLW is child company. I am running a schedule of a weekly, 4 hour, on-demand show. I too have a problem over-hiring, hence the 4 hour show. I've run 9 shows so far. Here are the top 20 matches. Keep in mind this is Stephens RW Mod so the stats are inflated. Also, I choose to ignore the face/heel divide in favor of a bigger variety of matchups. This also explains some of the pairings in 6 man tags. I do run small storylines in my head with a few consecutive encounters, however. I mostly book the meat of the card and let the AI throw in a few matches to fill the rest of the card (with my approval, of course). Despite the over-inflated stats, I think this is a list of 20 matches I would want to watch. I thought about starting a diary, if anyone is interested.

I created a monthly event in my XPW save called "XPW: Live Hardcore Action!". It takes place every Friday. I do not have a broadcaster set right now but it will probably be YouTube. I don't even have a Southwest regional broadcaster willing to negotiate lol. My roster is pretty great and I am trying to learn from booking mistakes. Abyss is the XPW champion right now. My tag division sucks with just 2 teams. The roster is full so I think I would only be looking to sign tag teams, valets and managers. I am going to set all shows to have live music. At the moment it looks like I will settle for having local bands open the show. Production wise I would like to imagine a video montage of XPW action would play with the live music playing over it. We had over 50,000 on YouTube watch our first show. Too bad that many did not attend the show! Abyss feels perfect for the champion right now. I definitely have a few others that could make good opposition for him.

So I got around to starting a save for Continental Wrestling Association or Memphis Wrestling, and have an ongoing storyline for the "CWA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament". In the War Of The Immortals mod, all of the championships are vacant in whatever promotion you choose. I am planning on doing a diary for CWA but had to post about this recent bombshell that happened. So the WCW/nWo Pro Wrestling promotion is always snatching up top talent from companies across the US. Shawn Michaels seems to always sign with them. Anyways, I just signed Jerry Lawler to a new deal but here comes WCW/nWo and Lawler signs with them! Jerry "The King" Lawler my top talent, just got signed away? Like for real? I was seriously going to push him as my top of the heap babyface and new CWA World Hvywt Champion! He is supposed to win the tournament! Ugh it is so frustrating! That said, he is in an exclusive deal with them so I guess that means he is breaking his recent CWA contract? Freakin' sucks! I did just sign Lex Luger. I am pretty excited about him on my roster. If Lawler is leaving soon, no way he wins the tournament. I thought of just losing and going away, or winning the championship then losing it in a Loser Leaves Town Match to someone like Austin Idol or King Kong Bundy. Damn...I had big plans for The King. Andy Kaufman will need a new babyface foil.

Loyalty is a workaround. I use that for some talent that WCW shares with New Japan.

Check out Original Wrestling documentaries on Youtube, they have videos on almost every territory that ever existed with great research. Buddy Rose was the man in PNW!

Ok so I am on my TENTH test run from 1970 and this time I decided to go to 1990.
So far Mark Lewin, better known as The Purple Haze was the heir apparent to Bruno in WWWF, Bruno always loses the title in the 1st year in any test run, even when Vince Sr has Arch conservative for titles. A booker with conservative or regular usually comes in and Bruno loses. He then usually goes to AWA. In this one, he went and became the AWA color commentator being a damn good second hand to JIM ROSS! His son David also joined AWA
Mark Lewin won it from Gorilla Monsoon in Nov 1975 after beating Koloff who won the vacant title after Killer Kowalski (who beat Bruno) left. He held in until 1979! 315 defenses!! He lost it to Tiger Chung Lee who was later blackballed for outing AWA in a whistleblow...AWA rejoined the NWA so other companies said no to Chung Lee who was the most popular wrestler from 1975 to 1982 when he got fired from 3 NWA companies. Chung Lee lost it Oscar Bailey, a created wrestler from 1977 graduation class of Killer Kowalski academy. Bailey loses it to Doug Somers of all people and he loses it to Alberto Torres (needless to say WWWF was stagnant) Torres vacates due to long injury and Mark Lewin wins it again in October 1980 before getting injured himself and vacating it. Somers wins it against Lewin in a one off match for it and then loses it to Lewin again until Superstar Billy Graham FINALLY arrives at the now WWF and beats him in the newly christened Royal Rumble in Jan 1981
Companies out of business are
50th State and Polynesian Pro Wrestling (I will have to look to see how I can make wrestling survive in Hawaii for a bit) All-South Wrestling Alliance (outlaw founded by Ray Gunkel's widow Ann, although Ray didn't die and was head booker in Georgia, fighting against his wife) Big Bear Promotions, small promotion in Northern Ontario run by The Canadian Wildman Dave McGingley Big Time Wrestling -Detroit - First time I have seen Sheik go down and he was the first promotion to close in 1975 British Wrestling Federation Catch Wrestling Association - Apparently Otto Wantz liked France more as he took over the French promotion FCCP and Catch had a lower ranked Japanese promotor for a bit Continental Wrestling Association - This was my mistake, as it never opened with Jerry Jarrett as owner as I had it mandatory and he was under contract with CWF, so no owner and 6 months later, they were gone ICW Kentucky - Angelo Poffo didn't have help from his sons and went under in 2 years International Wrestling Federation - couldn't keep up with AJPW, NJPW and JWA International Wrestling Federation - Kowalski's promotion only lasted 18 months, shame Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling & Northland Wrestling Enterprises - 2 promotions that only tour in the summer in Canada. AGPW is in the MAritimes and NWE is Ontario. I will have to try and find a way to keep them viable for longer, but it is tough when they are closed for 6 months out of the year. They lasted in my 5 year runs, but 7 years seems to be the tipping point. Weird because ECWA runs only monthly but never goes out of business in any test run. Maybe because they are insignificant and not small Southwest Championship Wrestling - Another mistake, I will have to try and start them with a lucrative broadcast deal, as Joe Blanchard was ahead of his time when it came to cable TV promotion Universal Wrestling Association - They only lasted 14 months, but they usually last in all my test runs
Most successful companies have been: AWA (a first in any of my runs. In half they are in trouble after 5 years). In this one they have Mil Mascaras, Ray Stevens, Super Destroyer, ted DiBiase & Dusty Rhodes, BAHBEE
Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling - Masa Saito, Ripper Collins, Jay York,Mighty Yankee & Vittorio Apollo have been their main men, how they are #2 is baffling to me. Got to love random skill checks
CWF - Eddie Graham is a booking genius and CWF is worth 190 million! Thunderbolt Patterson, Billy Two Rivers, Frankie Laine, Mike York, Jerry Jarrett & Bobby Shane got them to the top, now Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, Honky Tonk man, Ole Anderson, Bob Backlund, Arman Hussian & Magnum TA are keeping them there. They also had the best woman's division with Sandy parker, Evelyn Stevens, Chabela Romero, Yukiko Tomoe, Ramona Isbell and now Susan Sexton, Bunny Love and Vivian Vachon
Hollywood Wrestling - The best 2 women in the business in Princess White Cloud and Betty Niccoli, now they have Pantera Surena. Their men were just as impressive with Pedro Morales,Rocky Johnson, Paul Jones, Bearcat Wright, Randy Brown, Great Kojika & Cyclone Soto forging the way
WWF - Lewin, Somers, Torres, The White Knight & Gorilla have been the mainstays now they have Andre, Hulk Hogan, The Fantastics, The Freebirds, Buddy Rose and Don Muraco
If you want to know about any legends or other promotions let me know

OMG I just lost Sid to WWF. I'm super angry again. But luckily they signed a PPA agreement. I wanted to sign a written contract right away, but because Sid was also in WCW (and I also have a working agreement with WCW), I couldn't renew the contract. Sid automatically left my promotion because I'm also at war with the WWF. I think this will be a minimum of 6 months separation. Then I'll grab him the same way.
WWF tried to do the same with King Kong Bundy. But I immediately signed a written contract with him and kept it. Also, Shawn Michaels' contract with WWF is about to expire. I think it's been a month. I'll do everything I can to get Shawn. I think I'm going to spill all of the company's wealth.
Sneaky Vince.
