It's so easy to fall into the trap of hiring too many and end up with a bloated roster. I've done it on countless times.

I started booking Portland Wrestling. I do not know a lot about Portland Wrestling but got very into a save I did of PW in TEW '16. I spent a lot of time in TEW '16 getting the roster in shape. They have a lot of talent I am not familiar with. Roddy Piper plans to leave the company once his contract is up. This sucks but I have Piper in a starring role in 2 other game saves, so it is a loss but I'm not mad. I have Jimmy Snuka in the company still. He is approaching middle age but I think I can get some good matches from him. The Berzerker is on my roster and is managed by Paul Ellering. John Nord had a 38 in mic skills so I gave him a mouthpiece. I want Berzerker to be a top guy in PW. Matt Borne is a heel and had a run in PW back in the day. He is managed by Percy Pringle, who I was surprised to see on the roster. I can not find too many more wrestlers that are popular in the Northwest. I have 3 championships; heavyweight, TV and tag team. I have a few tag teams but not enough for a division. The product is Golden Age and I feel limited in booking matches. I started the save to just start it really. I seem to be doing a save for just about every company.
In my Pro Wrestling NOAH save I have Vader and Stan Hansen signed. The Great Kabuki is signed as well. I have 3 out of 4 of the Four Pillars. Misawa, Akiyama, and Taue are the best on the roster. No surprise there. I have Gaijin Samoa Joe and Bryan Danielson signed. No victories for them yet. I have El Samurai and Kendo Kashin starting a feud over the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Championship. El Samurai is currently the champion. I need a tag team division. I need a change with the product because matches under 20 minutes are getting penalized. Not too pleased with all of the penalties. Marafuji is low in skill for some reason. I plan on giving KENTA a push soon. I need to sign Kenta Kobashi but he feels NOAH is too small.
I booked my ECW 1993 save this weekend too but can't remember much of it at the moment. Curt Hennig is wrestling cherry-picked formidable opponents. After the match he will either offer a handshake or leave them hanging or take out his frustration on them. Keiji Muto is my top babyface in ECW 93. In storyline he could not get a victory over Hennig so he was disrespected and dismissed. They are going to meet again. Dean Malenko was dismissed by the fans, which sucks. Jimmy Snuka is still my champion, and a heel. He is managed by Paul E. Dangerously. Brian Pillman, Eddie Guerrero, and Jushin Liger are all around having good matches too. I have untapped potential with this save. I wish I could do a co-play of it to get the most out of it with some cool ideas. The product unfortunately does not like long matches which doesn't make sense with ECW. So maybe I will figure out how to change that.
I am trying to make notes of all of the ratings my roster gets in their matches and other notes about chemistry. It definitely helps with booking.

AsaemonEl Samurai vs. Kendo Kashin stole the show. Kashin got the higher rating but El Samurai won the championship. I booked Takeshi Morishima vs. Stan Hansen, which Hansen won but the crowd disapproved of the match length. Bryan Danielson and Tiger Mask have been feuding but Tiger Mask won't do the j-o-b. Even when he is made to look strong he gets his tights in a wad over losing. I am a big Tiger Mask fan but my Gaijin, Danielson, is heel and I want him to have at least a win.

I like this. Looks like Jushin Liger is starting becoming a belt collector.

New ideas for the month of December in my saves. A trophy going to the talent of the year based on their angle and match ratings. Possibly the same for tag teams and female talent too. An end of the year 8-person tournament for a World Championship title shot the following new year in January. I plan to play it out until Week 4, culminating in the finals at the last event of the year.
In other news, Pro Wrestling NOAH has seen a rise in popularity for The Man They Call Vader. He currently ranks behind Misawa himself for #1 Franchise Player. Vader will be a force to be reckoned with and very well could be the new GHC Heavyweight Champion. More gaijin have been signed. Most of them on handshake deals. Top talent in Japan still believe NOAH is too small for them. The new ownership of NOAH believe an American alliance with TNA and Ring Of Honor could be worthwhile to provide fans with premium pro wrestling content. El Samurai's opposition for his first title defense will be decided at the next event. NOAH TV is up in the air currently. Schedule meetings for the show have been ongoing for deciding the day of the week it could be held and the broadcaster. There is an opportunity to have very big coverage in the promotion's home region if pursued. This would give talent much more exposure on a monthly if not weekly basis. The Pillars Of Noah, Misawa, Taue, & Akiyama, have made it known to the Japanese sports press that they will be the company's first ever Triad Champions. Pro Wrestling NOAH's new management has stated that the Triad Championship Division is still a work in progress and that the Pillars will have to prove themselves.
I would love to get into the Diary creations for my promotions but I do not know when I could have the time. My wife is usually so tired from work it gives me time to play TEW and she doesn't mind.
