Can a rebuilding Ajax team challenge PSV Eindhoven for the Dutch Premier Division Championship? Ajax clearly have lots of promising talents, but a great season is needed from veterans like Aron Winter, Richard Witschge, Winston Bogarde and Nikos Machlas for Ajax to challenge the favorites PSV Eindhoven.

PSV Eindhoven is the favorites to win the Dutch Premier Division Championship, despite the transfer of midfielder Mark van Bommel to Marco van Basten's Barcelona. PSV have more players in their prime than Ajax and also have the talented trio Gino Coutinho, Arjen Robben and Ibrahim Afellay.

Feyenoord is in a rebuilding phase, but can't be underestimated. Veteran striker Pierre van Hooijdonk and wonderkid Robin van Persie forms a deadly duo. Feyenoord also have bunch of quality players like Paul Bosvelt, Patrick Paauwe, Brett Emerton, Ed De Goey, Ferdinand Vierklau and Taribo West. Players like Khalid Boulahrouz, Fabian Estoyanoff, Leonardo, Thomas Buffel, Glenn Loovens and Civard Sprockel have potential to develope into quality players.
