We get introduced to Supershow 4 by Eric Bischoff. Our main event will be a dream match between Hulk Hogan and Antonio Inoki for the WCW World Heavyweight title.

Ultimo Dragon, Wild Pegasus & Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Dean Malenko, Joe Malenko & Silver King
In a bout that had great fast-paced high flying action, Ultimo Dragon, Wild Pegasus and Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Silver King and The Malenko Brothers in 9:35 when Ultimo Dragon defeated Joe Malenko by pinfall with a Dragon Backbreaker. After the bout, Ultimo Dragon, Wild Pegasus and Rey Mysterio Jr was presented the winner’s trophy from New Japan officials. Eric Bischoff hypes an upcoming tournament to crown a WCW Cruiserweight Champion and that former WCW Light Heavyweight champions Brian Pillman, Brad Armstrong and Jushin Thunder Liger might be involved in it. The tournament will also feature some of the best high-flying talents from Mexico and Japan.

In a ultra stiff FMW-style brawl, The Gladiator defeated Masato Tanaka in 12:19 by pinfall with an Awesome Bomb. Fire and Ice w/ Teddy Long vs. Harlem Heat
In a bout that had good wrestling with many big power moves, but didn’t have much heat, powerhouse duo Fire and Ice drew with Harlem Heat in 20:00 when the time limit expired.

The Road Warriors & Power Warrior vs. Vader, Bam Bam Bigelow and Meng w/ Col. Parker
In a brawl that had good hard-hitting wrestling with many big power moves and a great reaction from the crowd, Meng and Vader & Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Power Warrior and The Road Warriors in 13:59 when Vader defeated Power Warrior by pinfall witha Release Powerbomb. The match was also the comeback of Road Warrior Animal that has been injured. After the bout, Vader, Bam Bam Bigelow and Meng was presented the winner’s trophy from New Japan officials.

The Steiner Brothers vs. Miracle Violence Connection w/ Col. Parker
In a great match, with hard-hitting wrestling IWGP World Tag Team Champions The Steiner Brothers and their rivals Miracle Violence Connection went to a 20 minute time-limit draw. After the match, The Steiners and Miracle Violence Connection fought each other, with The Steiners eventually clearing the Miracle Violence Connection from the ring.

Hiroshi Hase vs. The Great Muta
Prior to the bout, Hiroshi Hase extended his hand for The Great Muta to shake it, but Muta instead spat green mist into the air. In a superb match, with hard-hitting wrestling The Great Muta pinned Hiroshi Hase with a Back Suplex and the Moonsault at 19:15 after spraying mist in his face. After the bout, The Great Muta was presented the winner’s trophy from New Japan officials.

Randy Savage, Brian Pillman, Dustin Rhodes and Ray Traylor vs. The Four Horsemen
Crowd’s red hot and the match has a ton of energy and drama! In a bout that had great wrestling, great selling and red hot heat, Curt Hennig, Steve Austin and Ric Flair & Arn Anderson defeated Randy Savage, Brian Pillman, Dustin Rhodes and Ray Traylor in 29:26 when Ric Flair defeated Brian Pillman by submission with a Figure Four Leglock. After the bout, The Four Horsemen was presented the winner’s trophy from New Japan officials.

Sting vs. Masahiro Chono
Crowd’s hot and the match has a ton of energy, hard-hitting action and drama! IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Mashiro Chono went to a 30 minute time-limit draw with Sting.
After the contest, Chono went to attack Sting on the floor, but Sting gained the advantage until several wrestlers representing both WCW and NJPW surrounded the ring and interrupted the brawl.

WCW World Heavyweight Title Match
Hulk Hogan vs. Antonio Inoki
Prior to the bout, the two legends shook hands. During the match Hulk Hogan worked a more mat-based style, relying on exchanging holds and counters compared to his WWF and WCW work. WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan pinned Antonio Inoki at 15:55 with the Boot to the face and a Axe Bomber, moments after Inoki kicked out of the Legdrop. After the bout, Inoki raised Hogan’s hand in victory before Hogan was presented with a winner’s trophy. The two shook hands and hugged while the Japanese crowd chants “Ichiban” “Ichiban” “Ichiban”.
