These are the results from WCW The Great American Bash, being held by World Championship Wrestling. It is being held in front of 56,000 people at Robert . Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, D.C.

We get introduced to The Great American Bash by Tony Schiavone. Our main event match will be a Singles match between The Warrior vs. “Rocky Mountain Horror” Vader.

For the Cruiserweight match we had Mikey Tenay and Chris Cruise replacing Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan at the broadcast booth.
Cruiserweight Match for the WCW Cruiserweight Title
Alex Wright vs. Sabu
The 19-year old prodigy and the crazed sheik amaze the crowd and get them buzzing with flashy aerial spots and spectacular bumps.
Sabu hits a Springboard Legdrop on Wright while Chris Cruise puts over Sabu as one insane character who’s the nephew of the Original Sheik.
Sabu Ranas Wright to the floor and keeps him on the floor with a Baseball Slide followed by a Flip Dive. On the floor, Sabu sets up a chair to run and dive on Wright up against the guardrail, but Wright moves and Sabu flies into the railing.
Back inside, Wright Missile Dropkicks Sabu back out on the floor. This time Wright keeps Sabu on the floor with a Baseball Slide and hits him with a no-hands Plancha! Wright stops Sabu up on top for a Superplex!
Sabu reverses a Corner Whip on Wright and delivers a Springboard Leg Lariat. Wright back flips over Sabu out of the corner and gives him a German Suplex for 1-2-NO!
Wright heads up top, but gets crotched for a fast Roll Up to the canvas for 1-2-3.
In a energetic Cruiserweight bout that had jaw-dropping high-flying and fast-paced moves, Sabu defeated 19-year old prodigy “Das Wunderkind” Alex Wright in 15:13 by pinfall with a fast Roll Up. Sabu wins the WCW Cruiserweight title.

Cruiserweight Division Vignette
The WCW Cruiserweight division offers fast paced adrenaline pumping show-stealing matches with high-risk maneuvers, amazing characters and stylish high flyers. WCW have some of the best athletes that implements various styles, as Lucha Libre, Japanese Junior Heavyweights, North American Cruiserweights and submission-based technicans.

Singles Match w/ Retirement vs. Valet Stipulation
The Booty Man vs. Paul Orndorff w/ Toni
Orndorff’s valet, Toni is carrying a mirror to the ring so that “Mr. Wonderful” can watch himself as he makes his entrance.
If Paul Orndorff wins, The Booty Man is forced to leave WCW; but if The Booty Man wins, he gets a date with Toni.
The two wrestlers entertain the crowd with a cartoony WWF-style match, to give the fans a breather before hitting them with more exciting matches.
“Mr. Wonderful” is known for is physique and athleticism. He is very heelish in his way, and played-up his superior physique bullying his smaller opponent around.
The Paula chants are loud during the match.
Toni gets in the way and Orndorff is trapped in a quick Roll Up as he tries not to bump into Toni.
Now Toni’s has to go on a date with The Booty Man. Toni gets yelled at by a furious “Mr. Wonderful”.
In a decent match, The Booty Man defeated Paul Orndorff in 8:19 by pinfall with a fast Roll Up.

The Warrior vs. Vader Pull Apart [Clips from Main Event]
We rewind to the pre-show where Eric Bischoff is interviewing Nick Bockwinkel.
Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel is just about to make a major announcement concerning The Warrior and Vader, when the unstoppable 450 pound monster heel Vader also known as the “Rocky Mountain Horror” got impatient and stormed the set.
He shoved Bischoff aside and roughed up Commissioner Bockwinkel.
The Warrior made the save and beat Vader down with a steel chair.
A hard-hitting pull-apart brawl ensued between the two powerhouse workers.
Sting, Roddy Piper, The Steiner Brothers and Jim Duggan ran out to pull The Warrior away and Vader went after him with a chair until security got in the way.
Rating: 100 A*
The Steiner Brother is one of the greatest tag teams in not only the 90s, but all time.
“Harlem Heat is here to dominate the WCW tag team ranks, suckas got to know!”
The Steiner Brothers vs. Harlem Heat
Crowd’s hot and the match has a ton of energy and drama!
The Steiner Brothers and Harlem Heat are two of the best tag teams in the World at the moment.
The Steiners uses a wide array of Suplexes to dominate their opponents, while Harlem Heat has several fluid double-team moves electrifies the crowd.
In a bout that had sensational wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Steiner Brothers drew with Harlem Heat in 15:43 following a double count out.

Post-Match Confrontation
“Harlem Heat is here to dominate the WCW tag team ranks, suckas got to know!”
After the match an argument breaks out between The Steiner Brothers and Harlem Heat, and before long it has descended into a wild chaotic brawl between the tag teams, which has to be pulled apart by a number of officials and other wrestlers before they kill each other.”Steiners, we comin’ for You, Suckaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”

Parking Lot Brawl
Konnan vs. Bunkhouse Buck
The match is intentionally chaotic, full with gimmicky spots and weapons.
Any scrub unlucky enough to find himself in the ring facing Bunkhouse Buck is likely to end up hog-tied, strangled, or sprayed with tobacco juice to add insult to injury once the brutal squash is over. Buck is a brutal, sadistic rule breaker.
“The Mexican Hulk Hogan” Konnan is very athletic and powerful.
It’s a no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners brawl and the crowd gets jacked for it!
The dirty ‘n’ mean Bunkhouse Buck ran roughshod over his opponent, then punished, tortured, and humiliated him, because he’s a punk that deserves it.
Konnan fought back in kind, destroying Bunkhouse Buck with his own Cowbell after a great comeback segment.
Konnan eventually won the match.
In a decent match, Konnan defeated Bunkhouse Buck in a Parking Lot Brawl match in 14:22 by pinfall after hitting Buck with his own Cowbell.

Fire and Ice w/ Teddy Long vs. The Super Assassins w/ Jimmy Hart
The Super Assassins are two of the most awesome, massive, and powerful grapplers ever to enter the squared-circle. The two gargantuan monster heels usually runs roughshod over all his opponents in brutal, old school, squash job fashion.
Scott “Flash” Norton is a veritable megastar in the Far East. One of the hugest and strongest men in the history of pro wrestling. His tag team partner Ice Train is a charismatic catlike powerhouse. Together the powerhouse duo have been an “Unstoppable Force”. They are stronger and they hit harder than every other tag team in WCW.
The four powerhouse workers are displaying their incredible power by destroying each other.
In a powerhouse vs. powerhouse dream match, Fire and Ice defeated The Super Assassins II in 10:14 when Super Assassin #1 was counted out while fighting Scott Norton.
It was a a hard-fought victory for Fire and Ice.

Gene Okerlund is standing by with WCW United States champion Ric Flair.
On the video screen we see footage of him and The Horsemen attacking Angelo Poffo and Lanny Poffo at Slamboree.
“I took your wife in ’92, and I beat up your dad and brother at Slamboree!”
“All the women want to be with me, all the men want to be like me.”
“Space Mountain may be the oldest ride in the park, but it has the longest line.”
“Tonight, after I beat your sorry ass i’m taking Elizabeth to Space Mountain. Woooo!”
“If you don’t like it, learn to love it!”
“To be the man! Woooo!, you gotta beat the man!”
“Time to go to school!”

Colonel Robert Parker is smoking his Cuban cigar, while his Japanese badass wrestler, Kurosawa is making his entrance.
Parker receives several “KFC” chants from the crowd!
Here comes “Hacksaw” with an American flag in one hand and his trusty 2×4 in the other. You disrespect America, you disrespect “Hacksaw”.

Taped Fist Match
Jim Duggan vs. Kurosawa w/ Col. Parker
“Hacksaw’s gonna do what Hacksaw came to do! Beat people up! What You Gonna Do About It, Tough Guy?”
Jim Duggan is a rough and tumble brawler and power wrestler. An excellent, bleeding, asskicking babyface brawler from Hell.
“The Japanese Wildman” Kurasawa is known for totally demolishing his opponents with brutal submission holds and stiff brawling.
In a good match, Kurasawa defeated Jim Duggan in a Taped Fist match in 15:24 by stoppage when Jim Duggan was injured and could not continue due to a broken arm.
Kurosawa broke Duggan’s arm with his dreaded submission finisher the “Fujiwara Armbar”.

Street Fight for the WCW World Tag Team Titles
The Nasty Boys vs. The Miracle Violence Connection w/ Col. Parker vs. Kevin Sullivan & One Man Gang w/ Woman
Big brawl to start and they pair off in the ringside area and beat on each other. The match is intentionally chaotic, full with gimmicky spots and weapons.
Kevin Sullivan did alot of classic stooging and over acting to sell The Nasties roughhousing.
“We got a bad reputation! If you mess with the boys! Get ready for Pity City!”
The Nasties start using weapons and Sags pulls a long black case, out from the ring and breaks it over One Man Gang’s back. And then Knobbs hits an Atomic Drop on Kevin Sullivan onto an opened chair.
The match is full of stiff punches and kicks, even stiffer weapon strikes, and ridiculous amounts of blood.
In the ring, The Nasties pounds on Sullivan and gets a corner Clothesline, and clubberin, clubbering and clubberin away.
While One Man Gang is busy brawling with Steve Williams and Terry Gordy. One Man Gang is a 450 pound badass. A big brawling man, who is very tough.
Brutal Powerbombs, reckless dives, and tons of chairshots ensured that all men left the battle feeling like they’d been hit by trucks.
The Nasties give Kevin Sullivan a Pitstop. Sullivan’s facials are hilarious.
Steve Williams and Terry Gordy enhanced their legitimacy with their incredibly stiff offence, which was an enthralling blend of Suplexes, Lariats and characterful, football-inspired charges.
The Miracle Violence Connection take over and get the heat on their opponents, ending with an Belly To Belly Superplex on Kevin Sullivan for the Pin.
In a bout that had sensational wrestling and fantastic heat, Miracle Violence Connection defeated The Nasty Boys and Kevin Sullivan & One Man Gang in a Street Fight match in 15:26 Steve Williams defeated Kevin Sullivan by pinfall with a Belly To Belly Superplex. Miracle Violence Connection make defence number 4 of their WCW World Tag Team titles.

Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair vs. Bam Bam Bigelow Hype Video
“Macho Man” Randy Savage is a famously intense and fearless competitor and a 2x World champion.
“Best there is… past, present and future! Ohhhhh yeahhhh”
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair is widely considered the best pro wrestler ever and is an 18x World champion and an 6x WCW United States champion.
“The Dirtiest Player in the Game! A limousine-ridin’, jet-flyin’, wheelin’ dealin’ kiss-stealin’ — Woooo! — Son-Of-A-Gun!”
“The Beast from the East” Bam Bam Bigelow is big man, nearly 400 pounds, Bam Bam stood out from the other monsters in the business by being particularly agile for his size. He iso an incredibly talented performer, somehow capable of hurtling his mammoth frame around the ring in the manner of an acrobat without compromising his formidable power game.

The announcers informs us that the Bash At The Beach PPV next month will be held on an actual beach and will feature a “Feel the Heat Bikini Contest” and a “Lifeguard match” with “Baywatch babes in bikinis” surrounding the ring.
Several Baywatch stars from the show will be appearing at the PPV.

Rick Martel vs. Steven Regal w/ Aloysius Hayes
Steven Regal takes Rick Martel down early on and taunts the fans.
Eaton fights back with a Backdrop and Clothesline followed by a Swinging Neckbreaker! Martel looks for the top rope, but Regal bails to the floor and wants to talk to Mean Gene on the floor.
He’s insulted that WCW keeps throwing embarassing competition like that at him.
This is an epic encounter, mixing psychology, drama, ringcraft and emotion.
Regal continues his winning ways by forcing Martel to submit to the Regal Stretch after a little help from Aloysius Hayes
.
In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Steven Regal defeated Rick Martel in a Best of Five Series match in 20:26 by submission with a Regal Stretch after distraction from Regal’s manager Aloysius Hayes.
Aloysius Hayes is Lord Alfred Hayes’ sneering nephew.
Aloysius Hayes said the Queen of England is satisfied that “Lord” Steven Regal has reclaimed some glory for the UK.

The Warrior will go head to head with champion Vader at The Great American Bash.
Two superstars in the same ring with the WCW World Heavyweight title on the line.
The Warrior is a insanely ripped, snarling, facepainted maniac with neon tassels on his biceps known for his berserker rage attacks.
The “Rocky Mountain Horror” is one of the most physical, stiff and intimidating workers in the World. A top draw wherever he has been, Vader has dominated in Japan, Europe, Mexico and the United States. He is one of the greatest big men in wrestling history and despite weighing around 450lbs, he is known to pull off Moonsaults. He is also known for his relentless string of squash matches where he leaves masses of obliterated jobber carnage.
Nikita Koloff, Ron Simmons, Sting, Cactus Jack, Ray Traylor, Hulk Hogan and Joe Thurman all suffered legit injuries at the hands of the “Rocky Mountain Horror”.

Sting vs. Meng w/ Col. Parker
Meng bull rushes Sting into the corner and blasts him with chops and fists until Sting crumbles to the mat. He grabs Sting’s throat and tries to squeeze the life of the Stinger.
“There are 3 types of men: tough men, wrestler-tough men, and then there’s Meng. The Face of Fear. A man truly feared and respected for his brute strength and unprecedented intensity.
“The Face of Terror” Meng no sells our hero’s offensive and continues to claw, hack and chop into Sting. Meng takes things to the floor and drives his opponent into the railing. A Sit Down Powerbomb and Shoulderbreaker earn Meng a pair of near falls, while Colonel Parker is all smiles and very self-confident,
The Tongan torments Sting with a Nerve Hold of Extreme Discomfort.
“Hell hath no fury like the Scariest Man in the History of Wrestling”
Meng dominates the opening half with Parker running shotgun.
Sting connects with a Flying Elbow out of desperation, but Meng no sells it and delivers a Diving Headbutt onto his opponent. Sting finally gets fired up and delivers a series of Clotheslines that wobble the monster, before finally knocking him off his feet.
Meng and Sting fly to the floor in a heap.
Sting attacks Col. Parker before Meng attempts a sneak attack, but he instead runs his own head into the ringpost.
Sting takes advantage and locks on the Scorpion Death Lock, but Meng powers out. A Flying Clothesline downs Meng, followed by a Flying Splash that shockingly earns a two count.
Apparently, Parker was supposed to pull the top rope down, but missed his cue.
Once Sting’s back in the ring, he goes back to the Nerve Hold.
Sting gives Meng a Cactus Clothesline and goes beats up Parker.
Meng charges and Sting clips the knee and comes off the top with a Flying Clothesline and a Flying Splash for 1-2-NO!

Sting takes Meng in the ring for the Scorpion Deathlock. The man will not submit though and powers out.
Colonel Parker got on the apron to distract the ref.
Kurosawa got on the apron and grabbed Sting from behind, but the referee sees the inferference and calls for a DQ.
In an unbelievable match, Sting defeated Meng in 17:42 when Meng was disqualified when Kurasawa ran in and attacked Sting.

After the match we have a wild chaotic brawl between Sting and the two Stud Stable members Meng and Kurosawa.
They has to be pulled apart by a number of officials and other wrestlers before they kill each other.

Crowd’s hot and the match has a ton of energy and drama!
In an exceptional match, Steve Austin defeated Roddy Piper in a Loser Leaves WCW match in 20:23 by pinfall with a Stun Gun after Jeannie interfered.
“Rowdy” is displaying his trademark “Scottish” rage while Austin mocks his rivals and declares himself the biggest star in Pro Wrestling.
“Your brush with greatness is over.”
Roddy Piper attempted to beat up Austin, but were prevented by doing so by security and was escorted out of the arena.

Thunderous boos for Bam Bam Bigelow and Colonel Robert Parker.
Savage comes out with his father and somehow it gets the loudest pop of the night.
Angelo Poffo is walking with a cane after the attack at Slamboree.

Triple Threat for the WCW United States Title
Randy Savage w/ Angelo Poffo vs. Ric Flair w/ Elizabeth vs. Bam Bam Bigelow w/ Col. Parker
The stage is set for “Macho Man” Randy Savage to get his revenge on Ric Flair for putting his dad in the Figure Four Leglock at Slamboree and beat him
up.
Angelo Poffo’s sporting a cane to sell the leg injury.
You’d think Savage would want to beat the ever living crap out of Ric Flair to begin with, and you would be damw right.
This match was all action from the word go, Bam Bam Bigelow, Ric Flair and Randy Savage wrestled a first two or three minutes that might as well have been on fast forward, such was the pace and the intensity.
Ric Flair can see the crazy in Randy Savage’s eye and runs as the bell sounds. Savage assaults Flair in the ring, then chucks him to the floor where he greets Flair with a Double Axe Handle from the top rope.
This wasn’t a scientific match but the brawling was first class with the action equally at home outside the ring as in, and Flair regularly using Angelo Poffo sitting at ringside to maintain the upper hand.
Flair gets slammed from the top to the mat inside the ring and Flair flips his way out to Angelo Poffo.
As Savage checks on his dad, Flair clips Savage from behind and gives him a shinbreaker on the guardrail.
He takes another cheap shot at Angelo. That only serves to piss Macho off further, but Flair uses his crazed mentality against him and takes control. Savage’s knee is draped over the guard rail. Flair gleefully abuses the knee as Savage fights off his back desperately.
Flair manages to ram him into the steel post to stop the momentum. Flair then takes joy in chopping and stomping away at Savage.
Angelo Poffo has enough of it and tries to choke Flair down with his cane. Flair elbows him back and takes the cane away.
Savage goes in to finish Flair off, really ready to murder him now, but Flair turns and takes almost takes Savage’s head off with a swing of the cane like a baseball bat.
He chucks it away and get back inside the ring as the ref gets awakes, but is attacked by Bam Bam Bigelow for a Quick Roll Up. Bam Bam gets the 1-2-3.
In an unbelievable match, Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Randy Savage and Ric Flair in a Triple Threat match in 35:33 when Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Ric Flair by pinfall with a Roll Up, while Randy Savage was on the outside checking on his dad.
Bam Bam Bigelow wins the WCW United States title.

While Bam Bam Bigelow and Colonel Robert Parker are celibrating winning the WCW United States title…
Randy Savage and Ric Flair are squaring off, with chaos spilling out all around ringside.
Eventually a number of officials and other wrestlers have to hit the ring and pull them apart before they kill each other.

We have the 450 pounds monster versus a snarling, facepainted maniac with neon tassels on his biceps.

“Awwwwwwwwwwwwww you can feel it, dudes!”
The Warrior enter a berserker rage and proceed to beat the ever-loving crap out of Vader.
But, Vader no-sells The Warrior’s punches to start.
Vader does his “‘Who’s the Man?’ gorilla-grunting routine mocking The Warrior.
“It’s Vader! Vader is the Man!”
“I fear no man and I feel no pain!”
It’s a hard-hitting and action packed brawl that had fantastic heat and great comeback segments.
The Warrior and Vader hit each other as hard as possible ensured that both men left the battle feeling like they’d been hit by trucks.
It ended with a brutal Triple Powerbomd after interference from Harley Race.
In an stiff as hell match, Vader defeated The Warrior in 19:50 by pinfall with a Triple Powerbomb after Harley Race interfered by zapping Warrior with the Stun Gun.
Vader makes defence number 7 of his WCW World Heavyweight title.
