Evad is ringside, supporting his brother. In a violent squash match, Kevin Sullivan completely destroyed jobber Stan Lee in 0:54 by pinfall with the most vicious Double Stomp you have ever seen. Seriously, nobody can beat the hell out a jobber like Kevin Sullivan.

Gene Okerlund had an interview with The Sullivans.
Evad asks if he’s going to tell them about Cactus Jack. This pisses off Kevin, who suckerpunches Evad, then grabs the mic out of Mean Gene’s hand and says that Cactus Jack failed him.
“But Kevin, Cactus Jack is my friend! Please don’t talk about Cactus Jack like that!” He keeps repeating Cactus Jack’s name until Kevin just loses it and starts kicking, punching and stomping the crap out of his
brother, and even attack Evad’s bad knee.
Cactus Jack will come out and tell Kevin to back off, and Kevin Sullivan starts to leave, but then comes back and attacks Cactus Jack as soon as he turns his back to check on Evad. Kevin gets his trusty steel chair
and breaks it over the Cactus Jack’s head, causing a cavalcade of referees and officials to come out and herd Kevin Sullivan to the back.

Interview w/ Steve Austin From The Red Locker Room
Eric Bischoff is with Steve Austin in Locker Room Red. Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel interrupts the interview and informs Austin that he will face Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat at Clash Of The Champions. Austin
isn’t happy at all and tries to talk his way out of the match. Bockwinkel threatens to strip Austin of his title if he doesn’t face “The Dragon”.
“Stunning” Steve talks about Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat’s legendary career, saying he’s beaten the best but he just cannot beat Steve Austin, and it’s gonna drive Steamboat out of wrestling. Austin is the future and Steamboat is the past….

Gene Okerlund had an interview with “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes and “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes about their feud with The Stud Stable. Dusty Rhodes puts over the 900 number match concept. They can’t wait till they get their hands on Col. Robert Parker and The Stud Stable. Dusty are pleading to the fans to vote for him to face Terry Funk tonight, since Dustin still wears the cast because of the fractured arm
from Bash At The Beach.
Dusty says that this feud is far from over. “You wanted money, you wanted fame. No escape from the things you put Dustin through. It’s a nightmare coming back to you!” The Rhodes wants to get their hands on The Stud Stable. The Rhodes want revenge…

Recap of Arn Anderson’s turn and the post-match, backstage celebration. Bobby Heenan says he heard the Stud Stable had broken into Hogan’s locker room and stole all the champagne he was saving for if he won the WCW World Heavyweight title and drank it. Heenan chuckles and says “The Stud Stable’s backstage celebration did have champagne and Hogan’s did not.
Go figure it out!”

Jim Duggan vs. Steven Regal
“Hacksaw” receives a massive U-S-A! chant while waving the American flag and his two by four. But Regal doesn’t look scared, and he has his trusty cricket paddle in case “Hacksaw” decides to use his two by four. After the opening bell, Regal stalls and wastes time riling the fans before finally engaging. Regal uses a lot of rest hold to wear down his opponent. In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan drew with “Lord” Steven Regal in 15:00 when the time limit expired.

In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair defeated veteran Terry Taylor in 7:31 by submission with a Figure Four Leglock. During the match we also had Hulk Hogan distract Ric Flair on the big screen.

Hulk Hogan Comes Out And Attacks Ric Flair
Late in the bout, WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart appeared on the big screen, distracting Flair; after the contest, Flair grabbed the ropes for added leverage and kept the hold applied, with he and Elizabeth then double teaming Taylor until Hogan and Hart ran out to clear the ring; moments later, Hogan posed in the ring with the WCW World Heavyweight title belt before being interviewed by Gene Okerlund regarding Hogan’s title defense against Flair at the Clash of the Champions; Hogan then said he would face Flair next week on Saturday Night, with the title up for grabs, if Flair had the guts. Hogan then says the obvious about how he’s going to be WCW Champion forever and a day. “Hulkamania is immortal and can’t be stopped!”

It’s Time For The Result
Now Tony and Gene have a couple of corporate suits from the WCW office. So they talk, and then we come back to find out what our main event match is. Heenan’s on the phone, but the tabulations are in. Heenan is very happy and he has waited for this moment. Tonight it ends.
Dusty Rhodes (38%) vs Terry Funk (36%)
Dusty Rhodes and Terry Funk win the voting. However, the voting was so close between the top two in both locker rooms, that next week in the main event, The Guardian Angel will face Vader.
Dusty Rhodes vs. Terry Funk
This is all about Dusty’s epic babyface offense and Terry Funk’s great selling. Col. Parker trips Dusty at one point and Funk’s able to take him down. Funk slams Dusty down and goes to run the ropes, but as he
does, Dustin sneaks in a Bionic Elbow, behind the referee’s back ;and Dusty hits the DDT. In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes defeated crazy-as-hell Texan Terry Funk in 15:38 by pinfall with a DDT following interference from Dustin Rhodes.

The Rhodes And The Stud Stable End Up In Wild Brawl
Dusty and Dustin opens up with Bionic Elbows on Terry Funk for old times sakes.
“Double A” Arn Anderson, Bunkhouse Buck and “Dirty” Dick Slater bolts out and joins the wild brawl, with the chaos spilling out all around ringside. The unstoppable monster Meng gets into the ring and again has a stand off with Dusty, but the entire face locker room empties out and holds Dusty back as Col. Parker calls off Meng.
