Not sure if you're looking for predictions, but I'll shoot my shot The Royal Rumble – the winner will become WWF Heavyweight champion! The Barbarian, The Berzerker, The Big Boss Man, The British Bulldog, Col. Mustafa, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Hercules, “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan, Irwin R. Schyster, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, The Nasty Boys: Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Repo Man, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, “The Model” Rick Martel, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, The Rockers: Marty Jannetty* and Shawn Michaels, Sgt. Slaughter, Sid Justice, Skinner, The Texas Tornado, “El Matador” Tito Santana, The Undertaker, The Warlord, and Virgil! Perhaps a little unorthodox here, but my thinking is that this would give you three marquee bouts at Mania: Jake vs. Savage for the title, Hogan vs. Flair & Sid vs. TakerWWF Intercontinental championship The Mountie © vs. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper WWF World Tag Team championships The Legion of Doom © vs. The Natural Disasters w/Jimmy Hart The New Foundation vs. The Orient Express w/Mr. Fuji The Bushwhackers vs. The Beverly Brothers w/The GeniusLooking forward to this diary!

It’s hard to pick anyone other than Flair here, but that’s perhaps more due to the nostalgia of this being arguably one of (if not the) best Rumbles going, with Flair’s performance being key to that.....I think Flair/Hogan deserved to happen at Mania, even if it means no Flair/Savage. Send Savage off to finish up his feud with Jake while Sid and The Undertaker go at it.....of course, you could argue that Hogan/Flair doesn’t need to be for the belt, in which case maybe a Savage win.....that or whoever is replacing Jannetty.....a host of possibilities
WWF Intercontinental championship The Mountie © vs. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper
this just needs to go down exactly as it did.....including the Mania match with Bret.....as you were
WWF World Tag Team championships The Legion of Doom © vs. The Natural Disasters w/Jimmy Hart
I liked the Natural Disasters, but the LoD retain
The New Foundation vs. The Orient Express w/Mr. Fuji
The Express do what they do best, have a great match and ultimately put the other team over.....shame they never had a run with the titles, they really were a great team.
The Bushwhackers vs. The Beverly Brothers w/The Genius
I can’t stand the Bushwhackers.....never have, never will.....but I do have a soft spot for the Brothers Beverly

I'm enjoying the format for this so far! If you're not feeling like writing as much as normal, so be it! You do a good job fitting in details within the game.
The Royal Rumble – the winner will become WWF Heavyweight champion! Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker are allowed to draw from between numbers 20 to 30. Marty Jannetty will be unable to participate and will be replaced in the bout. Despite Snakeman being named in the title here, I think you should right the ship and do Hogan/Flair at Mania. Macho/Jake doesn't really need the title in my book. Plus, let's make sure Jake can get through the summer without a relapse before we start considering title runs...
WWF Intercontinental championship The Mountie © vs. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper WWF World Tag Team championships The Legion of Doom © vs. The Natural Disasters w/Jimmy Hart Man, I love me some Earthquake! The New Foundation vs. The Orient Express w/Mr. Fuji The Bushwhackers vs. The Beverly Brothers w/The Genius Please no Jameson!

[Editor's Note: This show was pre-recorded (the final WCW show which was pre-taped, so next time it will be all mine) but the show was missing the first half hour, being joined in progress during Rick Rude's match. So I made up the first half hour of this one, which worked out because it gave me a place to put the interview that Sting and Bagwell were supposed to have the previous week that set up this show's main event. Huzzah!]
- Barry Windham organized a poker tournament backstage at Power Hour.
- On Power Hour, Thomas Rich wrestled wasted. He was fined for it, and he saw the reason why and improved his behavior.
- On World Championship Wrestling, Brad Armstrong came back out from under the Arachnaman hood, due to legal threats from Marvel Studios. He is now under a White Meat Baby Face gimmick, which rated Very Good for him.
- During Main Event, Cactus Jack debuted a new catchphrase.
- Abdullah the Butcher turned face, but it didn't go down very well as he isn't known for being a good guy.
- Jimmy Garvin wrestled drunk, and was given a stern talking-to for it; nothing noteworthy resulted.
- Arn Anderson: "Steve Armstrong is becoming a good worker, he might be worth getting behind."
- Bobby Eaton: "Scott Steiner is going to be a star, you need to push him hard."
- Rick Steiner: "I don't think Brad Armstrong could draw flies to a dog pile, you should just cut him loose."
- Marcus Alexander Bagwell picked up a Minor Concussion at World Championship Wrestling, which will have him out of action for the next few days.
- Van Hammer sustained a Rotator Cuff Tendonitis at World Championship Wrestling; he will be working through it for the next month.
- Ratings: Power Hour (0.1); World Championship Wrestling (2.12); Main Event (0.21)

WWF Intercontinental championship The Mountie © vs. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper Bret v Piper is a certainty for Mania in order to begin to elevate Bret to that main event level.
WWF World Tag Team championships The Legion of Doom © vs. The Natural Disasters w/Jimmy Hart I'll be interested to see if you opt for the slow burn face turn on Jimmy Hart for Earthquake and Typhoon.
The New Foundation vs. The Orient Express w/Mr. Fuji If this had been a year earlier, the result would have been different, but pushing Owen is a priority at this point.
The Bushwhackers vs. The Beverly Brothers w/The Genius Enos and Bloom are hardly anything special, but they're a newer team and should go over here.

[Editor's Note: Two more pre-taped shows, but this is all from the WWF. I debated on whether or not to share the Boston Garden show as well, but in the end decided to have it to be seen, given that the monthly shows will be all the events for several months. So next is Royal Rumble, and then Clash of the Champions, both of which are their own shows, and then nothing was recorded in 1991 anymore.]
[Editor's Note: Yes, the show ended on an Event Center promo featuring El Matador and Virgil. I did not cut anything off at the end there. 1992, everyone.]
- Backstage at Superstars, The Million Dollar Man was seen giving Shane McMahon some tips on psychology.
- Backstage at Wrestling Challenge, referee Jack Doan put on a video game tournament with SEGA Genesis game Road Rash, which he ended up winning. Newcomer Chris Chavis failed to shake hands with one of the veterans, so Roddy Piper forced him to buy everyone drinks after the show. Mr. Perfect and Hawk bonded over a love of Harley Davidson memorabilia.
- Referee Danny Davis has changed his body type to Toned.
- On Wrestling Challenge, Brian Knobbs sustained a bruised sternum, which will put him out of action for a few weeks. He will be replaced in the Royal Rumble.
- During the Legion of Doom's matches on Wrestling Challenge and at the Boston Garden, it was clear that Hawk was on drugs. He was fined both times for it.
- At the Boston Garden, Sensational Sherri pulled a big rib on the entire locker room that had all of them laughing for hours. Koko B. Ware brought in free drinks for everyone.
- Virgil was found to have steroids in his system; Vince McMahon gave him a slap on the wrist.
- Pat Patterson: “Repo Man has a lot of charisma, Darsow might have a winning gimmick here.”
- Tony Garea: “Jerry Sags is turning into a good worker, you should get behind him.”
- Hulk Hogan: “Jim Neidhart sells like crap after all this time, you should just let him go, dude.”
- Ratings: Superstars (0.38); Wrestling Challenge (0.28)
The 1992 Royal Rumble will post next, probably over the weekend! Huge thanks to all who have predicted on the card!
