WELCOME EVERYONE TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW! We're coming to you tonight from the XL Center in Conneticut with another ACTION PACKED show! I'm joined by one of my fellow broadcast partners, Rob Bartlett. Now folks, you may be wondering where my other broadcast partner RANDY SAVAGE is, well he's currently in the backstage area, about to have a meeting with none other than the WWF President, Jack Tunney!

Yeah that's right Vince, last week that Heartbreak PUNK Shawn Michaels delivered a couple cheap shots, both verbally and physically to the Macho Man and he's lookin' for justice! He'll be back with us soon on the table tonight folks don't you worry!

That's right, now in terms of our action tonight, something to look forward to The Nature Boy Ric Flair in action against Brutus Beefcake. Now in case you missed it last week ladies and gentlemen, Flair interfered in Mr. Perfect's match last week against El Matador and our man on the scene, Mean Gene Okerlund will be looking to get some answers from him tonight!

Speakin' of answers Vince, Big Bossman is lookin' for answers and he's lookin' for justice after Bam Bam Bigelow delivered a shot in their match with Bossman's own nightstick! And speakin' of that beatmick Shawn Michaels earlier, he's in a non title match against Crush tonight and after what he did to Macho Man? I hope that HBK gets CRUSHED tonight

And of course there's our main event, more non title action as our WWF Champion faces off against Damien Demento! With Lex Luger crowned the new number one contender, a win is a necessity for the champion here tonight! All that and more to look forward to tonight on Monday Night Raw. It's UNCOOKED!

We go backstage to the office of the President for WWF Operations, Jack Tunney who is sat behind his desk as a flustered, red faced and frustrated Macho Man Randy Savage slams his hands on the desk, it seems we had joined the two in mid conversation and things aren't looking good for the Macho Man as they are discussing the events that transpired last week with Shawn Michaels

WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY CONTRACT WON'T ALLOW IT! I WON'T ACCEPT THAT! Come on Tunney! You saw what he did last week! You saw how he embarrassed me! You saw how he and Sherri ATTACKED ME! I CAN'T LET IT STAND! I REFUSE TO LET IT STAND!

Randy I understand your frustrations! And I assure you there will be consequences for what Shawn did to you last week...But please you have to understand that legally speaking my hands are tied! Once you joined the commentary team your contract had to be adjusted to a non competitive status! Right now I can't allow you to get into a ring again without facing sports commissions and despite what happened to you last week? They do things by the book Randy, no exceptions. That means fines for the WWF if you compete under this contract. That means legal action that we just can't risk taking!

SCREW YOUR LEGAL ACTION! I WANT SHAWN MICHAELS! YOU HEAR ME! I want to get my hands on him...if it's the last thing I do YEAH! And I don't care what it is I have to do to make it happen! Now come on Jack, there must be some strings you can pull!

Randy, the only way I can currently allow you to compete in a WWF Ring is by organising a waiver. It will remove WWF of any responsibility and legal obligation to treat you as a member of our non wrestling staff. I can get that organised but...

Randy it isn't that simple. In order to book you in your return match, I'll need your competitot to sign the waiver as well to prove they accept the match. That mean you would need to get Shawn Michaels to agree to the match as well...

Randy falls silent in what is a rare moment for him as the realisation dawns on him of the rock and the hard place that Shawn Michaels has gotten him stuck in. Without the approval of Shawn. Randy will never get his retribution...

The Bushwahackers VS. The Headshrinkers
 VS. 

Tag team action gets us started off this week as The Bushwhackers face off against The Headshrinkers. It's a tough man compeitition it seems as both The Headshrinkers and Bushwhackers are able to fend off each others blows and stay stood when normal men would easily falter and fall. The surprising fast pace of the Headshrinkers would be what managed togive them the upperhand as combined with their strong style it made for a deadly combination and was what got them the upper hand in the end against the Bushwhackers. Fatu would pick up the win after delivering a thunderous running body splash to Bushwhacker Luke for the pin.

Justice For Bossman

Ladies and Gentlemen Mean Gene here, I'm currently backstage with none other than the Big Bossman who last week saw an attack in his match against Bam Bam Bigelow, with his very own nightstick. It seems The Bossman does not forgive easily and he certainly doesn't forget as he has words for Bam Bam Bigelow here tonight!

That's right Mean gene! I've got words for Bam Bam and when I have my way? You can bet I've got some hard times in store for him too! Bam Bam! I hope you're listening brother because there's a special place in my books reserved for cowards like you! You couldn't get the job done last week against me and you refused to face it! That's what that attack was all about! You tried and you tried and credit to you for that but you couldn't get the pin and instead of continuing the fight like a man! You took a cheap shot like a coward...not only that, but you did it with my very own nightstick! I want you to know Bam Bam, I'm lookin' for a rematch. Bossman doesn't take no easy wins. I won by disqualification? Big deal. I was flat on the mat, I was knocked out! I was humiliated! I don't call that a victory and certainly not against trash like you! I'm askin' for a rematch Bam Bam, name the time, name the place and I'll come runnin to make things right. Injustice was done against me last week Gene and I refuse to let it go unanswered!



All of a sudden Bossman is taken out by a charging Bam Bam Bigelow from out of frame. Mean Gene runs off to the sidelines as Bigelow deliveres another cheap shot to Bossman, two weeks running. Knocking the big man down to the ground. Bigelow delivers a few kicks to add insult to injuury, not saying a word as he stared down at the flattened body of his challenger. Before walking off screen...

Well, well, well...it looks like the chickens have FINALLY come home to roost, WOO! It seems that memories are short here in the WWF! Including YOURS Perfect! Well if Slcik Ric needs to remind you of just what it is you owe him, but never gave him. I'll be happy to do so! See if you'll recall it wasn't too long ago when Mr. Perfect and I were ridin' high together, thick as thieves! I even considered him a prtoge! Somebody that I could pass on my knowledge! My experience! My expertise! He was going to be MY student! And that my friends...is a gift worth more than any monetary amount your feeble little minds can put together!

BUT WHAT DID I GET INSTEAD PERFECT?! I'LL TELL YA' WHAT I GOT! I GOT AN INSULTING LACK OF GRATITUDE! THAT'S WHAT I GOT! You treated me like a fool! You took my insane amount of charity, you took my gift, you took my experience, my knowledge, my GREATNESS and you THREW IT IN THE TRASH! You threw it in the trash when you started listening to the people in the stands! They told you that you didn't need me Perfect! They told you that you could do better than me! I'm sorry? Did I miss something? Can somebody please check for me that I'm STILL RIC FLAIR? Because the last time I checked my name was RIC FLAIR! And to assume for even THE SLIGHTEST SECOND...that YOU...could do better without me? Well brother...you may as well have spat in my face.

That's why I ruined your match last week Perfect! That's why I cost you your victory! Because you DARED TO COST ME MY DIGNITY! And I'm sorry perfect but my dignity? Is worth FAR MORE than any measly little victory that you can scrap together! If you're SMART! You'll come runnin' back! On your knees, your hands clasped together as you BEG me to take you back with open arms!That's if you're smart Perfect...and if I'm kind...ONLY if I'm kind..I might...I MIGHT consider it, but chances are...you ain't that smart and if worst comes to worst well...don't say I didn't try and offer you the easy way out Perfect. Because doin' things the hard way? That's somethin' I'm very used to doin by now...

Brutus Beefcake VS. Ric Flair
 

High energy and hard hitting action from Brutus Beefcake faced off against the more methodical approach of the established in ring veteran Ric Flair. Ric let Brutus expend his energy, taking hits where he could afford to and allowing the relentless methodology of Beefcake to expend his steam quicer. As the sixty minute man was conditioned for the long haul. Eventually Flair would make the comeback, making his fight against Beefcake easier as Brutus became gassed from his early onslaught of attacks. Flair would get the win in the end after synching in his patened Figure Four leglock and getting the submission for the win

After The Match...

 

After the match, Mr. Perfect would rush the ring to try and get his hands on Ric Flair as revenge for his interference last week. The Nature Boy saw the attack coming though and quickly hightailed it out of the ring and hopped right on over the barricade. Escaping through the crowd as Mr. Perfect stared him down, muttering what some could only assume to be obscenities to each other as their confrontation would have to wait for another day...

Crush VS. Shawn Michaels
 

Shawn Michaels delivers his usual boastful, arrogant performance. Acting far higher and far mightier than he actually was, especially against the likes of Cursh. It wasn't long before Crush put an end to Shawn's boyish antics. Grabbing the Heartbreak Kid by the hair and driving him down into the mat with an overpowering lariat. After that, Shawn quickly became all business, as just last week he was claiming there was nobody who could pose a challenging threat to his status as the Intercontinental Champion. Suddenly, Shawn turned from cocky to outright cowardly, devolving into dirty tactics. Taking cheap shts whenever he could to give him little advantages throughout the match and using his manager Sherri to his advantage. At one point in the match however, drama suddenly escalated...


 

Randy Savage emerged from the commentary table! Seeming to act against the words of warning of Jack Tunney. He stayed outside the ring but began shouting down Shawn Michaels. It wasn't long before Sensational Sherri got involved. The two got into a shouting match which Savage pushed her away from! He hopped up onto the apron, distracting Shawn from his match for a moment. Savage was begging Michaels to let him fight, to which Shawn was shaking his head. He got up close and personal to the Macho Man, Spitting in his face and delivering a slap, Before Sensational Sherri came from behind and delivered a disgusting low blow to the Macho Man, sending him careening to the floor!

Shawn would manage to duck under a running clothesline from Crush, delivering a Super Kick which would get him the victory.

Excellence Executed...

 
We go to a segment which seemed to have been filmed previously as we are in a gym. An empty gym, clearly being occupied by only the current Number One Contender in what seems to be after hours as it seems dark outside through the fans can see of the windows which are in the fraee. Our number one contender, Lex Luger is sat on a bench press. Sweating, Panting, rubbing his face with a towel. He's already been working out. With a bottle of water by his side. He takes a swig and let's out a long, almost relieved sigh. He chuckles to himself, clearly a lot on his mind, as he addresses the camera currently focused on him.

Why did it have to be you Bret?

Lex rubs his chin in thought and contemplation, but clearly in a mocking, sarcastic manner as he spoke directly to the WWF Champion.

After a decade of syin our prayers and eating our vitamins, the WWF was left with a huge vacuum to fill once those red and yellow boots went away for Hollywood deals. The WWF lost their great hero. Their great champion...their great attraction and in a desperate rush to fill the spot, to replace the big dog who had been running the show for the majority of the eighties. The WWF went looking for somebody, anybody who thery could try to polish up and pretend there was some semblance of prestige and pride in being the face of their company. And it just so happened that person turned out to be you...

I call it luck. I call it good fortune. I call it you getting there first! Because I wasn't here yet Bret! I wasn't here when that opportunity opened up! I wasn't here when Hulk Hogan went on hiatus! I wasn't here when the WWF needed a new champion! Because I guarantee you if I was? You would never have even gotten within ten feet of that belt...

It's funny. I left that other company, because I was frustrated, because I was angry, because I felt that I would get a better opportunity here in New York. With all the old dinosaurs fading into extinction. With new faces rising to the top...I knew it was the perfect opportunity for me to jump ship and to make a name for myself but if you told me back when I was in that other place that it would be this damned easy? I would never have believed you! Yet here I am, on the second ever episode of Monday Night Raw, two weeks to go until The Royal Rumble...two weeks until I change the face of this company for the better and leave you trailing in the dust where you belong!

I mean look at you Bret! No offence...you're good, you're damn good but you just don't look like championship material. Our previous champion had twenty four inch pyhons and muscles that could rip through every shirt he had! You? You're nothing, you're a okaceholder, a paper champion. Someone to put down on the record so the company can at least say they tried to look legitimate while they search for a better candidate. Well now? They've found it...and it won't be too long before you find yourself back in regular territory. Wondering if you'll ever get another shot, watching bigger and better men achieve things you could only dream of!

Luger takes another swig of water, swirling it around his mouth before swallowing and letting out another sigh of relief, flashing a smug toothy grin to the camera as he flexed his muscles for any possible female fans of this egotist.

I want you to take a real good look at that Belt Bret, hold on tight to it as much you can over the course of these next two weeks, take a picture if you must. Ask the WWF for as much reels of footage as they have of you with that belt...because they will be the only meories of success in this company that you'll have after I am through with you at the Royal Rumble! The excellence of execution? Well color me unimpressed! At the Roayl Rumble, I want everyone to capture the moment! Because if Bret Hart is what the WWF calls the image of excellence? Then Lex Luger will be the one who makes sure that excellence? Is executed...

Bret Hart VS. Damien Demento
 

And to finish off the evening our WWF Champion faces off in non title competition against Damien Demento in what may have been a surprise showing for those watching at home! Bret Hart and Demento showcased a suprising amount of competition and in ring psychology against one another. Damien's strange brutish offence played as a good counter balance to Bret's technical masterclass of mat wrestling. Bret was surprisingly cornered and taken aback by Damien's in ring performance as were the WWF fans. Although in the end, Bret came out on top as expected after taking Damien out with the Piledriver. The WWF fan base seemed to give Damien more attention as a result of this outing.
