SD! results for July 30, 2021 @ Minneapolis, Min (Show length: 90 minutes)

Before I begin writing, Rick Boogs & Odyssey Jones are making their in-ring SD! debuts this week. Apollo Crews & Azeez are scheduled to feature in the closing segment, but have not been booked for a match.
Also the main event tonight is a battle royal pitting all of tonight's "survivor's" against one another. The winner will earn a title match in the near future.

Results

1. Dominik Mysterio & Montez Ford vs Odyssey Jones (draw) (8 minutes)
2. Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks def. Carmella & Zelina Vega
3. Otis def. Boa & Jey Uso (pinfall) (5 minutes); Boa took the fall.
4. Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso vs Baron Corbin (draw) (8 minutes)
5. Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso vs Rick Boogs (draw) (8 minutes)
6. Final match: small's vs big's: Jimmy Uso & Seth Rollins def Angelo Dawkins (5 minutes); Rollins pinned Angelo Dawkins.
7. Main Event: Seth Rollins last eliminated Odyssey Jones with help from Roman Reigns to win the "survivor's" battle royal & receive a title shot in the near future. (7 minutes)
8. In- ring: Azeez celebrates retaining the Universal Championship. Apollo Crews gets on the "mic". He talks about Chad Gable saying-
"Chad Gable- even if by coincidence, you qualify for a match at Summer-Slam against Commander Azeez, you have no chance of winning. Azeez has bulldozed his way through the competition so far in his time on Smackdown.
Gable- you do not measure up to someone the size of Azeez! Gable comes out, says "you might be right, but there are strength in numbers." All of the smaller guys on the roster- Dominik & Rey Mysterio, Shinsuke Nakamura, Boa, Montez Ford,
The Uso's & even Roman Reigns- surround Azeez & Apollo Crews in-ring. Azeez & Apollo Crews get ambushed. Apollo Crews gets rushed out of the ring. Azeez lies befallen on the mat. Chad Gable stands over Azeez triumphantly motioning that he will
be the next Universal Champion, while Adam Pearce looks on thoughtfully to end the show. (8 minutes)

Wednesday result: Rey Mysterio def. Dominik Mysterio.

SD! results for August 06, 2021 (Show length: 80 minutes)

1. Anthony Davis (Lakers) promotion for Summer-Slam.
2. SD! Introduction package; Commentator's welcome.
3. Match 1: Men's Tag: RD1: Mysterio's vs Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode.

Booker's note: Shinsuke Nakamura decides to join the "breakaway's" listed in my last post. This means Rick Boogs loses out here. Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode & Baron Corbin change their minds; come back to join the SD! roster.

3. Match 1: Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode def. Dominik Mysterio & Rey Mysterio (pinfall) (5 minutes).
4. The "breakaway's" have arrived backstage & will address the WWE Universe later; Adam Pearce informs Nakamura that he is out tonight & that Baron Corbin will be his replacement vs Edge.
5. Match 2: Tegan Nox def. Tamina (5 minutes)
6. Commercial Break
7. Match 3: Bianca Belair def. Zelina Vega (5 minutes)
8. Commercial break- Current time 8:05 p.m.
9. Boa unable to get to the arena tonight. Otis & Chad Gable progress to the next round- forfeit; Match 4: Men's Singles: RD1: Montez Ford vs Rick Boogs- No contest; one minute in & the two competing superstars are ambushed by the breakaway group.
They have something to say after the commercial break.
10. On the "Mic" Roman Reign's & Seth Rollins speak on behalf of the group about their decision to leave WWE.

Roman Reigns is disappointed that the landscape has not changed sufficiently in the last ten years. I.E. John Cena is clearly the number one face of the company despite all the hard work he has put in especially the last 10 months or so. 
Booker's note: This promo by Reigns is similar to the ones delivered by Batista leading up to his match vs Cena @ WM in 2010. 

Seth Rollins turn to speak. Rollins points out that not too long ago he remembers that management was giving away "his spot", "KO's spot" & "Sami Zayn's spot" on the main roster to  "Lars Sullivan", "Mojo Rawley", "Kalisto".
"These Superstars could not survive the rigor's of competing at this level", according to Rollins. Management came back to him & the likes of Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens & The Uso's and begged them to represent the SD! brand. We Obliged.
But we still disagree with the direction of this Company & are leaving to (Reader to fill in the blanks). Uso's: "We're taking the belts with us."

By this time Adam Pearce is already in the ring. Pearce: " How about one more massive tag match before you leave. Winners to get the belts?" Booker's note: Pearce means that he himself gets the belts if the assembled SD! team wins. 
"Breakaway's" walk out. Reigns: Reluctantly "accepts" Pearce's challenge.  

11. Match 5: Men's Singles: RD1: Baron Corbin def. Edge (referee stops the match) (4 minutes); Booker's note: Edge attempts a spear on Corbin but runs shoulder first into the ringpost in the bottom right corner; Edge appears to have a dislocated collarbone.
12. Quick Commercial Break-  Current time 8:30 p.m.
13. Match 6: 6 man tag: Chad Gable, Finn Balor & Otis (Team SD!) def. Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso & Roman Reigns in a quick match (pinfall) (3:45 minutes); Chad Gable pins Jimmy Uso following a German suplex.
14. Commentator's announce that we're having a re-do-over with Montez Ford vs Rick Boogs because of outside interference earlier on.

Unlucky Friday 13th for Rey Mysterio; Baron Corbin loses his job; SummerSlam matches set + more

SD! Results for August 13, 2021 @ Tulsa, Ok (Show length- 90 minutes)

1. SD! Introduction package; Commentator's welcome + a run through of the men's singles qualifying matches tonight- John Cena vs Baron Corbin; Rey Mysterio vs Robert Roode.
2. Match 1: SummerSlam qualifier:  Robert Roode def. Rey Mysterio via the "Glorious DDT" (pinfall) (9:30 minutes)
3. Women
4. Commercial Break- Current time 8 p.m.
5. In the ring Adam Pearce grabs the "mic". Pearce holds the Universal Championship contract aloft & asks  "well, what are you waiting for? Somebody come forward and sign this thing." (1 minute)
    The four eligible superstars- Baron Corbin, Finn Balor, John Cena & Robert Roode scuffle up & down the rampway into the aisle. The fight gets out of hand and Smackdown officials + security break things up (No result) (2 minutes)

6. Finn Balor is directed to the ring though for a match against Chad Gable. Match 2: Finn Balor surprises and defeats Chad Gable via the "Coup de Grace" in a quick match. (pinfall) (2:30 minutes) 

   Booker's thoughts: A disastrous loss for Chad Gable especially considering he was in contention for a world title shot at Summer-Slam 2 weeks ago. But that is now truly in the past.  He needs to go back to the drawing board.  

7. Commercial Break. Current time 8:10 p.m.
8. Backstage a SD! Official presents Finn Balor the Intercontinental Championship. Finn Balor accepts;
9. Commander Azeez attacks Angelo Dawkins at a different backstage area of the Bok Center; Bianca Belair & Montez Ford show concern for the wellbeing of Angelo Dawkins, who appears slightly dazed. (3 minutes) 
10. Quick Commercial 
11. Match 3: Dolph Ziggler vs Apollo Crews ends in a no contest (6 minutes); Azeez & Rick Boogs interrupt the match+ brawl ensues.
12. Commercial Break- Current time 8.30 p.m. The final half hour of the show is about to get underway. Nobody has signed the Universal title contract yet.
13. Match 4: SummerSlam qualifier: John Cena vs Baron Corbin ends in a No Contest after 2 minutes of back & forth action with Cena gaining the ascendancy.
14. Adam Pearce interrupts + abruptly says "He has seen enough. Baron Corbin: "You're fired!" John Cena looks bemused; Baron Corbin is shattered.

When this sinks in, Baron Corbin solemnly leaves the ring. Note: John Cena is still standing in the ring. 

Pearce says SD! is ready to confirm two matches for SummerSlam. Finn Balor will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Robert Roode.
Therefore, Congratulations John Cena you will challenge Commander Azeez for the Universal Championship on Saturday. August 21 @ Allegiant Stadium, Paradise, Nevada. Pearce walks out.

15. The next several minutes of the show.... Unclear.  Booker's note: Perhaps a sketch of some sorts with Baron Corbin escorted from Bok Center?
16. Commercial break-  Current time (8:45 p.m.)
17. Main Event: SummerSlam qualifier: Apollo Crews & Azeez def. Dolph Ziggler & Rick Boogs (pinfall) (5 minutes); Apollo Crews pins Rick Boogs, who is substituting for Robert Roode.
18. Adam Pearce is back to make an announcement for the third time tonight. Sonya Deville joins him on-stage. They're here to confirm matches for SummerSlam. Booker's note: The winning team from the main event match are standing in the ring.

Sonya Deville grabs the "Mic" first. Sonya Deville confirms Bianca Belair vs Sasha Banks for the SD! women's championship.

Adam Pearce amends the Universal Championship match in light of what has transpired tonight. Pearce says " The Universal Championship match- Azeez vs John Cena- will not be a singles match.
Since I'm in charge around here, I have the power to review & change matches as the situation changes. He reminds the fans that Dolph Ziggler wrestled tonight for an opportunity to participate for the tag titles @ SummerSlam.
Yes, he didn't win, but he didn't lose either. Rick Boogs took the fall. Adam Pearce pauses........ There will be a Universal Championship match that will take place @ Summerslam & it will be ........ contested under "six man tag rules".
For @ Summerslam, it will be Commander Azeez teaming up with Apollo Crews & Dolph Ziggler to take on the trio of John Cena, Anthony Davis (A.D. from this point on) & the man who was not defeated during the "Summer series", Montez Ford.

Adam Pearce adds that the fans will get a taste of SummerSlam twenty four hours earlier when SD! emanates from Phoenix Suns Arena next Friday night. He books John Cena & The Street Profits vs Apollo Crews, Azeez & Dolph Ziggler in a six man tag match.
