I suppose now is also the time to say beware of early conversion releases, unless the modder has had early access to TEW2020 then this will all take quite a bit of testing and play time to understand the new game ai etc. In many ways, I think 2020 will see the people playing the game being more like testers than has been the case recently. So many changes, additions and REMOVALS that will impact things.

I remember seeing your venue database for tew 2016 back in like 2017. Do you still have a copy of that? I recently experienced a pc crash and lost all my mod downloads.

I've been playing around with the old Risky Business database and trying to balance it a bit but I can't figure out how to stop NJPW and AJPW hiring dozens of guys to long-term exclusive contracts at the very beginning. I even adjusted Inoki and Baba's business AI to have them prefer roster sizes but they will still have a roster of around 60 guys by the end of the month. Anyone know why this happens?

Company size is what calculates the roster size, with the owner's roster size as a modifier. So there are not really any good tweaks besides the roster size setting.
Until TEW2016 the game had touring contracts and touring regulars. Which prevents AJPW and NJPW to stockpile talent on longterm deals, instead you could set a AI rule that all gaijins only can sign a touring deal.

I still don't get it why touring deals and touring regulars were removed. Both was good and useful features that improved the game and the mods.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out of there was some kind of substitute for touring contracts I was missing but I guess there's nothing. This sucks man. Maybe I'll try and convert the mod to Pro Wrestling Sim and see if that's any better.

There are no good tweak to replace the removed features touring contracts, no foreign workers (except on touring contracts) and touring regulars
Setting the owner of the promotion to prefer high roster turnover would only be a minor multiplier. The promotion would still go for longterm deals.
