Survivor Series 2021Date: 21/11/21 Location: Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York Note:(The releases of Karrion Kross & Scarlett, Keith Lee, Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott, Hit Row, John Morrison, Tegan Nox, and Mia Yim do not happen.) Women’s Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match:Team Raw (Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler & Tegan Nox) vs Team SmackDown (Liv Morgan, Sasha Banks, Sarah Logan, Toni Storm & Shotzi Blackheart)(The main story going into this match is the ongoing tension between not only Liv Morgan and Sasha Banks on SmackDown, but also Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair over on Raw. Both Morgan and Banks compete in a triple threat qualifying match with Natalya on SmackDown to determine the captain for the blue brand at Survivor Series, with the match ending in a double pin. In wake of the controversy, Sonya Deville names both women as co-captains, which doesn't sit well with Liv and Sasha as they don't trust each other. Meanwhile, over on Raw, Bianca Belair defeats Charlotte Flair and Mia Yim in a triple threat match to become the team captain for the red brand by pinning Charlotte. This angers The Queen, who bribes Adam Pearce into adding her to Team Raw without having to qualify. Throughout the match, Liv & Sasha constantly try to upstage each other on Team SmackDown, with Bianca and Charlotte doing the same for Team Raw. Despite the tension and constant blind tags on each other, Liv and Sasha put aside their differences and end up being the sole survivors.) Rhea Ripley eliminated Shotzi Blackheart by pinfall Rhea Ripley eliminated Sarah Logan by pinfall Toni Storm eliminated Rhea Ripley by pinfall Bianca Belair eliminated Toni Storm by pinfall Liv Morgan eliminated Tegan Nox by pinfall Sasha Banks eliminated Shayna Baszler by pinfall Sasha Banks eliminated Charlotte Flair by pinfall Liv Morgan eliminated Bianca Belair by pinfall
(Survivors: Liv Morgan & Sasha Banks)
Champion vs Champion Match:
Damian Priest (United States) vs Shinsuke Nakamura (Intercontinental) w/Rick Boogs
(Not much story. Just both brands’ midcard champions colliding. Instead of a DQ finish, Nakamura counters a South of Heaven by Priest into a surprise roll-up.)
Cross-Brand Battle Royal:
Xavier Woods wins by last eliminating EC3
(Other entrants included Omos, Pete Dunne, Ridge Holland, Ricochet, Jeff Hardy, Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott, Cesaro, John Morrison, Angel Garza, Humberto Carillo, Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Chad Gable, Otis, Drew Gulak, Hanson, Rowe, Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, Nick Miller, Shane Thorne, Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Apollo Crews, Commander Azeez, Mansoor, Jinder Mahal, Veer, Shanky, R-Truth, and Akira Tozawa)
Champions vs Champions Match:
RK-Bro (Raw Tag Team) vs The Usos (SmackDown Tag Team)
(There is a build up to this match. On the go home episode of Raw before Survivor Series, Matt Riddle has faces Big E in a champion vs champion match, which is interrupted by The Usos, who invade Raw to attack RK-Bro to soften them up before Survivor Series, as well as Big E, in order to weaken him before his match against Roman Reigns. RK-Bro then return the favour on the go-home Smackdown by attacking The Usos, with Orton giving both Jimmy and Jey a double RKO. The Usos say that they had to remind RK-Bro who they were dealing with, because they the two's, and we the one's. RK-Bro say that if The Usos wanted to send a message to them, they should have expected they would return the favour. RK-Bro pick up the win after The Viper catches Jimmy with an RKO in midair, evening the scores at 2-2 on the night.)
Champion vs Champion Match:
Kay Lee Ray (Raw Women’s) vs Becky Lynch (SmackDown Women’s)
(The battle of the redheads. In the buildup, Kay Lee Ray and Becky Lynch cut scathing promos on each other, until KLR launches a sneak attack on Becky, along with the rest of the SmackDown Women's locker room, to try and unsettle the blue brand. Becky says KLR is just a rookie that has a chip on her shoulder, because she became the first woman to graduate from the minor leagues that nobody really cares about, and then she goes and betrays her only friend in Alexa Bliss, which is just the stupidest move ever, and at Survivor Series, she's going to make KLR wish that she never left NXT UK. KLR says that Becky has become delusional ever since she came back, and she better be careful with what she says to Raw’s "forever champion”, because she will sideline her indefinitely.)
Men’s Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match:
Team Raw (Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles, Keith Lee, Finn Bálor & Karrion Kross) w/MVP & Scarlett vs Team SmackDown (Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Dominik Dijakovic & Sami Zayn) w/Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland
(Shortly after Extreme Rules, ominous and sinister vignettes showing apocalyptic themes such as bombed out cities, vultures feasting on dead carcasses, desolate wastelands and a female voice speaking Romanian, begin airing. Before this match, Kevin Owens is mysteriously attacked backstage by an unknown assailant, with an hourglass placed next to Owens’ body, and the words "Fall and Pray" in black paint daubed on the wall near the location of where Owens was attacked. Before the match officially begins, Team Raw reveals its new fifth man..... the debuting Karrion Kross (Scarlett is still with him and he does not look like a gimp version of Shredder), who now has grown out hair resembling a Serbian mob boss. Throughout match, everyone on Team Raw refuses to tag in Kross because they don't know what he's capable of, and this hurts Team Raw as they all get eliminated one by one, until it's Kross vs all of Team Smackdown. Kross goes on an absolute tear, eliminating every member of the blue team by himself, sealing the victory with a Kross Hammer on Seth Rollins to become the sole survivor in an impressive debut.)
Drew McIntyre eliminated Bobby Lashley by pinfall Sheamus eliminated Finn Bálor by pinfall Dominik Dijakovic eliminated AJ Styles by pinfall Seth Rollins eliminated Keith Lee by pinfall Karrion Kross eliminated Sami Zayn by submission Karrion Kross eliminated Drew McIntyre by technical submission Karrion Kross eliminated Sheamus by pinfall Karrion Kross eliminated Dominik Dijakovic by submission Karrion Kross eliminated Seth Rollins by pinfall (Sole Survivor: Karrion Kross)Champion vs Champion Match - with The Rock as the special guest referee:Big E (WWE) w/Xavier Woods vs Roman Reigns (World Heavyweight) w/Paul Heyman(The New Day vs The Bloodline. In the build up to this match, The Bloodline invade an episode of Raw and attack The New Day, with Roman Reigns and The Usos giving Kofi Kingston a Triple Powerbomb through the announce table, which puts Kofi out of action for a few weeks. Xavier Woods then invades SmackDown by himself to try and return the favour, going as far as to challenge Reigns to a match. The Tribal Chief wins that match and The Bloodline beats down Woods, only for WWE Champion Big E to make the save and take out The Usos, forcing Reigns to retreat. Also, since it's the 25th Anniversary of The Rock's debut, it's announced that The Rock will be making a special appearance as the guest referee for the main event. The Great One promises to call the match down the middle, even if Roman is still family. After the match, as The Rock is about to hand Reigns his World Heavyweight Championship, he stops, hesitates, and looks at the belt briefly, then gives it to Roman, with Roman then hoisting the title up, teasing a potential showdown between the two in the future - WrestleMania 40, anyone?) Final Score:Raw 4-3 SmackDown

NXT Takeover: WarGames V
Date: 5/12/21
Location: Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Cleveland, Ohio
Women’s WarGames Match:
Team Raquel (Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai, Sarray, Aoife Valkyrie & Cora Jade) vs Team Dakota (Dakota Kai, Blair Davenport, Priscilla Kelly, Piper Niven & Ivy Nile)
(Following a failed attempt to win the NXT Women's Championship from Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez requests to Shawn Michaels that she gets one final chance to get even with Kai… inside WarGames! HBK grants Big Mami Cool her wish and tells it’ll be 5-on-5 this time. Both women recruit their teams, with Kai bringing over Blair Davenport to NXT full time, Piper Niven, Priscilla Kelly, and Diamond Mine recruit Ivy Nile, while Raquel selects Io Shirai, Sarray (No lame schoolgirl gimmick), NXT newcomer Cora Jade, and NXT UK’s Aoife Valkyrie (who was previously feuding with Davenport and has now pursued her across the pond) to join her team. Gonzalez finally gets a triumphant victory over Kai since the latter’s betrayal in the summer, scoring the win for her team after hitting a Chingona Bomb on Kai off the top of the cage through a stack of tables. Following the match, Davenport berates Kai about her "poor leadership", even slapping Kai, which causes The Captain of Team Kick to lash out on Davenport, turning Kai face before she gets beaten down by Kelly, Niven and Nile, with the beatdown concluding with Davenport hitting a Kamagoye on Kai, standing tall over the fallen Kai and hoisting up the NXT Women's Championship.)
Fatal Four-Way Match for the NXT Tag Team Championship:
Imperium (c) vs MSK vs Grizzled Young Veterans vs Hit Row w/B-Fab
(MSK invoke their rematch clause after Halloween Havoc. In the build up, Wes Lee and Nash Carter say Imperium may have outwrestled them, but the entire NXT locker room are already sick of these 2 goofbags, and they’ll send them back across the pond and take back the NXT Tag Team Championship. The Grizzled Young Veterans get added to this match by scoring two separate victories over both teams in tag matches on NXT in November. Zack Gibson and James Drake say that if anyone should hop on a plane and leave, it's those little rascals known as MSK, who only got to where they are now because they used to carry their old stablemate's bags in the minor leagues, and as for Imperium they can't even lace the boots of the GYV. Imperium respond by saying that both MSK and GYV are embarrassments to this sacred mat, and will promptly be dealt with at WarGames. Hit Row score a shock win over Imperium on the go-home episode of NXT, leading to Shawn Michaels adding Top Dolla and Ashante "Thee" Adonis to the match. Hit Row say that Isaiah "Swerve" Scott is already doing big things on SmackDown and they'll show they can be on his level so they can reunite with him some day.)
Triple Threat Match for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship:
Roderick Strong (c) w/The Diamond Mine vs A-Kid vs Nathan Frazer
(Following his early elimination from the NXT Championship tournament, A-Kid goes on a small winning streak and secures himself a future Cruiserweight Championship Match by scoring a huge victory over KUSHIDA. Nathan Frazer gets added to the mix by defeating Ikemen Jiro. Roderick Strong, now on a new lease of life following his victory at Halloween Havoc, says everyone in NXT knows that even at 100%, A-Kid and Frazer don’t have half the in-ring stamina and staying power that he possesses. A-Kid says that Roddy thinks he's great just because he's the 4th most successful member of The Undisputed Era, and now that half of them don't even work here anymore, he’ll wrestle circles around the leader of the Diamond Mine. Nathan Frazer says that Roddy has always been a stepping stone his entire career, he was a stepping stone for Bobby Roode, he was a stepping stone for Keith Lee, and at WarGames, he becomes a stepping stone for Nathan Frazer.)
Men’s WarGames Match - the winning team's captain gets a future NXT Championship match, the losing team's captain must leave NXT:
Team Gargano (Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Bron Breakker, Kyle O'Reilly & Bronson Reed) vs Team Escobar (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Raoul Mendoza, LA Knight & Carmelo Hayes) w/Elektra Lopez & Trick Williams
(Following the NXT Championship tournament that saw him finish in the semi-finals with a loss to Tommaso Ciampa, Santos Escobar makes it his mission to antagonise the life of Johnny Gargano, who has recently turned face. Escobar challenges Johnny Wrestling to a WarGames Match, vowing to put an end to Gargano if it means securing himself a shot at the NXT Championship. Gargano accepts, saying he wants to put Escobar in his place for thinking he’s some kind of hot shot. Escobar gets his fellow Legado Del Fantasma stablemates, Joaquin Wilde and Raoul Mendoza on his team, in addition to selecting North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and LA Knight, while Johnny recruits his old DIY tag partner & NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, Bron Breakker, and Kyle O'Reilly to be on his team. Before Johnny can pick the 5th member for his team, mouthy newcomer Grayson Waller constantly asks Gargano to put him on his team, but Johnny always says "he'll think about it". When Waller finds out he's not on Johnny's team and that Austin Theory is the fifth and final competitor, he's not happy. On the go-home episode of NXT, Theory is found attacked in the parking lot, with it made to look like Legado Del Fantasma were the ones behind the attack. LDF deny having any involvement in the attack, which leads to Gargano making Waller even more enraged when he selects Bronson Reed (Yes, he’s still in NXT and not released in this timeline) as the 5th member of his team. To raise the stakes for the match, NXT GM Shawn Michaels adds a stipulation, where the winning team's captain gets a future NXT title shot, while the losing team's captain must leave NXT. Early on in the pre-show for this event, Gargano is interviewed backstage about the possibility of this potentially being his final match in NXT, with Johnny saying that NXT has been his home for the past 6 years, but if this is the end, there's no better place than to have his final NXT match than in his hometown of Cleveland, because for years, people have constantly asked him why has he been in NXT for so long, it's because he truly loves this place so much, he believes in it, and that will never change, but sometimes change needs to happen, and it could happen tonight if he doesn't defeat Team Escobar, but if this is how his story ends in NXT, he has 1 final message - you will never fail, if you bet on yourself. Towards the closing moments of the match, a hooded assailant in black comes through the crowd with a pair of bolt-cutters and breaks into the cage. Just as Gargano is about to hit a One Final Beat DDT on Escobar and win the match for his team, the hooded figure low blows Gargano and reveals himself to be…. Grayson Waller! Waller leaves the ring to a loud chorus of boos in Cleveland as Escobar then hits a Phantom Driver on Johnny Wrestling to get the win for his team and secure himself a future NXT title shot, while also sending Gargano packing from NXT. Kyle O’Reilly doesn’t leave NXT after this match either - I’ve got plans for him.)

Day 1
Date: 1/1/22
Location: State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia
Pre-Show:
Six-Man Tag Team Match:
Cesaro, Ricochet & Isaiah "Swerve" Scott vs The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland)
(Pete Dunne (Sorry, Vince, but I’m not calling him Butch. Ever.) & Ridge Holland make their main roster debuts on the SmackDown after TLC, where they squash 2 enhancement talents in a dominant display. After their win, Dunne & Holland are approached by Sheamus backstage, with The Celtic Warrior telling them he was really impressed with their win, so much so that he wants to take them under his wing and mould them into the next great European superstars in WWE. Dunne & Holland say they'll consider it. Cesaro then confronts them later on and tells them they can be the next great European superstars on their own without someone like Sheamus falsely guiding them. A few weeks later, Sheamus defeats Cesaro to qualify for Team Smackdown at Survivor Series, due to interference from Dunne & Ridge Holland, whilst also forming The Brawling Brutes in the process. Sheamus says that he is so glad that Dunne & Holland believed in him, they took his advice and they chose to sit under his learning tree, and because of that, they are destined for big things here in WWE. Cesaro begins feuding with the trio, wanting payback for the attack, recruiting Ricochet and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott to have his back against the new trio. Holland does not break his nose in this match either. Dunne scores the win with a Bitter End on Cesaro. Cesaro then loses a Belfast Brawl to Sheamus on the 11/2/2022 episode of SmackDown, in what is Cesaro's last match in WWE before his contract expires and he leaves for AEW to become Claudio Castagnoli in the Blackpool Combat Club.)
Main Show:
Liv Morgan vs Sasha Banks
(Despite being the sole survivors at Survivor Series, Liv Morgan and Sasha Banks’ animosity continues to simmer, with both women constantly trying to upstage each other, leading to them agreeing to having a match at Day 1. Sasha says that Liv has been nothing short of impressive for the past year or two, but she has a glass ceiling over her head, and says she’ll never break through, because she’s not a horsewoman like The Boss. Liv says that the last time Sasha was relevant was 2016, but she doesn't need to be a horsewoman, because she’s better than Sasha, and at Day 1, she’ll prove it. Liv wins clean with an Ob-Liv-Ion.)
SmackDown Tag Team Championship:
The Usos (c) vs The War Raiders
(Following their return to SmackDown, The War Raiders defeat The Mighty and EC3 and Omos in a triple threat match to become the number one contenders. The Usos say that the landscape of the tag team division on SmackDown is once again under the rule of The Ones, a landscape that The War Raiders fell off, because they went from being one of the most feared tag teams in WWE, to 2 guys who just throw axes and absolutely stink. Hanson and Rowe say that they'll raid and pillage the so-called "Island of Relevancy" that The Usos live on to become 2 time Smackdown Tag Team Champions.)
Kevin Owens vs Karrion Kross w/Scarlett
(On the Raw after Survivor Series, Kevin Owens calls out Karrion Kross and demands an explanation why he attacked him the previous night. Kross appears on the Titantron, and says that since NXT chose to defy him and cast him out, he's decided to make Raw his new wasteland, and this new wasteland contains a gathering of men who are the equivalent of arcanas' on tarot cards, men who he will wipe out to show what happens when they think they can survive doomsday, and that starts with Owens, because Owens is the fool, he has constantly fooled many men in the past, only to stab them in the back, and his karma has been waiting to come for him, and at Day 1, he'll be Owens’ karma. KO says he doesn’t care about karma, he’ll make Kross regret his attack. In the build up, it’s revealed that Owens' contract expires at the end of January, and he hasn't re-signed. Following the match, Kross sets up KO in the corner, while Scarlett grabs a cinderblock from under the ring. Scarlett then holds the cinderblock in front of Owens' face, with Kross punching through the cinderblock and knocking Owens out. This writes KO off of TV, with this supposedly being his last match in the WWE.)
United States Championship:
Damian Priest (c) vs Keith Lee w/Zelina Vega & Los Lotharios
(A week after Extreme Rules, Keith Lee starts to slowly turn heel, showing more signs of aggression during squash matches. After her move back to Raw with Angel Garza, whilst also recruiting Humberto Carrillo (now heel after turning on The Mysterios during a six man tag team match against Garza and The Dirty Dawgs) to form the tag team "Los Lotharios", Zelina Vega approaches Lee backstage and tells him that luck hasn't been on his side lately, because not only has he failed to win the WWE Championship, but he wasn’t even considered for the King of the Ring, so he needs to remind everyone who he is, he needs to enstill fear back into his opponents. Zelina then tells Keith to give her offer some thought and then leaves. Over the next few weeks, Zelina appears on commentary for Lee's several matches, with Lee finally turning heel and joining Vega's new stable on the Raw after Survivor Series. The following week, Lee debuts new entrance music (akin to jos current AEW theme) and decimates Rey Mysterio to become number one contender to the United States Championship. Zelina says that Lee has made a change for the better by agreeing to become her latest client, because she will save his floundering career and guide him to his first main roster championship in WWE. Priest says that Keith is his own man, and a man he has tremendous respect for, he doesn't need to be led around like a dog on a leash by a snake like Vega, but if he wants to become soft, then The Archer of Infamy will just have to knock the softness out of him.)
Intercontinental Championship:
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) w/Rick Boogs vs Sami Zayn
(Sami wins a six-man gauntlet match on the Christmas Eve episode of SmackDown, defeating Jinder Mahal, Mansoor, Ricochet, Sheamus and Cesaro to earn a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Zayn says that Nakamura has been ducking him for months, because he's wanted to defend the Intercontinental Championship against everyone but The Master Strategist, but now Shinsuke has nowhere to run or hide, because Shinsuke was a Paul Heyman guy, he wouldn't run from anyone, but now that he's downgraded from Heyman to a meathead with a guitar, he's become a coward, and he can't wait to humiliate Shinsuke and become a 3 time Intercontinental Champion. The King of Strong Style says that he admires Sami for his in-ring skills, but his mouth has a bad habit of getting him into trouble, and he’s going to shut it.)
Triple Threat Match for the Raw Tag Team Championship:
RK-Bro (c) w/The Migos vs Alpha Academy w/Drew Gulak vs Los Lotharios w/Zelina Vega & Keith Lee
(Alpha Academy continue to feud with RK-Bro. Around this time, Zelina Vega’s new tag team of Los Lotharios, goon an undefeated streak, even defeating RK-Bro in a non-title match ojEaw after a distraction by Alpha Academy. Zelina says this will be a spectacular night for her and her clients when they all walk out as champions. Gable says that The Alpha Academy will finally claim gold at Day 1, because they have the cerebral edge. RK-Bro say that WWE management can line up a whole heap of tag teams, they'll knock them all down. Atlanta based rap group The Migos accompany RK-Bro during their entrance and join the commentary team for the match.)
Raw Women’s Championship:
Kay Lee Ray (c) vs Bianca Belair
(Bianca Belair defeats Charlotte Flair, Shayna Baszler and Mia Yim in a fatal four-way match on Raw to earn a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship. Belair says that she's accomplished many things in 2021; she’s won both the women's Royal Rumble and the Smackdown Women's Championship, so it's only fitting that she caps off the year in style and becomes Raw Women's Champion. KLR says the only reason Bianca was able to have so much success this year is because she didn't have to cross paths with Raw’s "forever champion", the greatest UK export in WWE history, because if she did, she wouldn't have been celebrating in the main event of WrestleMania, she would've been confined to a hospital bed, which is exactly where she's going after Day 1 to join Alexa Bliss and Asuka in the ICU. A referee bump causes Charlotte Flair to run down and hit The EST with Natural Selection. This allows The Psychotic Queen of Scots to hit Belair with a Gory Bomb and retain her title.)
SmackDown Women's Championship:
Becky Lynch (c) vs Sarah Logan w/Liv Morgan
(On the SmackDown after Survivor Series, Becky Lynch takes a vested interest in Liv Morgan and confronts her during an in-ring segment. Becky asks Liv what she’ll use her title shot after winning the Queen of the Ring. Liv says since she's got a lot on her plate right now, she'll forfeit her title shot to her tag team partner Sarah Logan. This stuns Becky, who says it’s embarrassing that Liv has thrown Sarah a bone, and that it’s taken Sarah this long to make a name for herself after returning last summer, but she understands why, because Sarah is a mother, which she can relate to, but the difference between her and Sarah is that she is still an intense lioness, while Sarah is a weak-willed failure of a woman. Sarah says Becky's digging her own grave deeper and deeper, and at Day 1, Becky is going to be ripped apart limb from limb, and she'll return to her family, not as a failure, but as the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.)
World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Finals:
Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins
(On the SmackDown after Survivor Series, Roman Reigns comes out and says that for the second year in a row, Smackdown lost at Survivor Series, and it once again made his victory over Big E meaningless, and last year, but this year, he won’t make everyone acknowledge The Tribal Chief, because Smackdown isn't worthy of his presence, so he will be going on a well-deserved vacation. Since SmackDown is now without a World Heavyweight Champion, Sonya Deville sets up a #1 contenders tournament, with the finals taking place at Day 1. Drew McIntyre defeats Sami Zayn and Sheamus to advance to the finals, whilst Seth Rollins defeats Jeff Hardy (in what is Jeff's final WWE match as he's released due to a relapse and refusing to go to rehab), and Dominik Dijakovic to advance to the finals. Rollins says that he has been the heir apparent for the World Heavyweight Championship for too long, but at Day 1, that’ll change when he guarantees himself a date with destiny. Drew says that Seth has built himself as quite the star on SmackDown over the past year and a half, and has consistently had one trick up his sleeve after another to bail himself out, but at Day 1, he’ll have no more tricks to save himself, because all it takes is one Claymore to bring his destiny crashing down around him to dust.)
Edge vs The Miz w/John Morrison
(Instead of a mixed tag team match, things are done differently. Edge makes his return on the 29/11/2021 episode of Raw and says now that he’s back on the brand that kickstarted his ascent to the very top, he has a whole heap of new opponents he can sink his teeth into - AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Keith Lee, Damian Priest, Big E - because this is what he’s dreamed of when he came back almost 2 years ago. Edge is then cut off by John Morrison, with Morrison saying that Edge has only been gone a month, yet he returns to a hero’s welcome, but when The Guru of Greatness returned in 2020, he didn't get that triumphant return, but what irks him the most, is the people Edge has his eye on, because his name wasn't included, so it's clear Edge has 0 interest in him, but he knows someone who Edge would be more than interested in facing. Edge is then attacked from behind by a returning Miz, who helps Morrison beat down the Rated-R Superstar. In the buildup, Miz says whilst he was off Dancing with the Stars, Edge was dancing with injuries, and the last time Edge held a title was 11 years ago, while he cashed in Money in the Bank the next night to become WWE Champion, because he surpasses Edge in every way, and at Day 1, he'll make Edge wish he stayed home for good. Edge says that when Miz is saying he should hang it up, that he's dancing with a body riddled with injuries, he's right, he can't do this forever, but he fought with every fiber of his being to get it back, and everyone in that locker room says that he’s the guy that they want to stand across the ring from to test themselves, because they respect him and he respects them, that's mutual respect, something Miz knows nothing about. Botched interference by Morrison costs Miz the match.)
WWE Championship - with Kofi Kingston as the special guest referee:
Big E (c) vs Xavier Woods
(Shortly following Survivor Series, Xavier Woods informs Big E he will be using his King of the Ring title shot to face him for the WWE Championship at Day 1. Woods saying he loves E like a brother, but he needs to show everyone he can become WWE Champion like Kofi and E did. Big E says he expected Woods to challenge him, and he's more than happy to give his fellow New Day brethren a shot at the WWE title. Kofi Kingston returns shortly after Survivor Series, and informs both his New Day stablemates that Sonya Deville has named him as the guest referee. This all New Day showdown is a 20 minute back and forth affair, but ultimately, Big E dashes Woods' dreams of becoming WWE Champion with a Big Ending. All 3 New Day members embrace after the match as Day 1 goes off the air.)

NXT UK Takeover: Paris
Date: 8/1/22
Location: Accor Arena, Paris, France
British Rounds Rules Match for the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship:
NXT UK Heritage Championship:
Noam Dar (c) w/Sha Samuels vs Dave Mastiff w/Jack Starz (1-2)
(Following his victory over Tyle Bate at Takeover: Belfast, Noam Dar begins arrogantly boasting about how he defeated Bate and proved that "The Big Strong Daftie" is not on The Scottish Supernova’s level for weeks until he’s confronted by Dave Mastiff, who has been on another impressive win streak, despite being in a tag team with Jack Starz. Mastiff challenges Dar to a match for the Heritage Championship, which Dar initially refuses, but is forced to accept by Johnny Saint. Dar says that he's a victim of his own success, he's being forced into Heritage Championship Matches because he's just that good of a champion, but the pressure isn't on him, the pressure is on Mastiff, and he will choke in Paris. The Bomber says Dar is just a runt with a big mouth, and it’s time someone shut him up. Dar is so cocky that he'll win, he and Sha Samuels begin making bets with the NXT UK roster, telling them to bet on Dave Mastiff, with the odds being "100-1", saying that for all the people who bet on The Bomber, that money is wasted, and it'll go towards the Supernova retirement fund. Dar wins the first fall in Round 1 by pinfall via roll up, Mastiff ties things up at one fall apiece in Round 3 after a powerbomb. Mastiff wins Round 5 by pinfall when Samuels tries to interfere, which causes Starz to bravely tackle Samuels and attack him at ringside. The Scottish Supernova tries to capitalise with a Nova Roller, but The Bomber counters into a German Suplex and follows up with Into the Void to become the new Heritage Chanpion.)
NXT UK Women’s Championship:
Meiko Satomura (c) vs Isla Dawn
(In February of 2021, after losing an NXT UK Women's Championship match against Meiko Satomura, Isla Dawn disappears for a while. A month later, Dawn returns by conducting occult readings through an ouija board and tarot cards, with her returning to action in early April, now as a heel after attacking Emilia McKenzie. Over the next several months, Dawn takes items from various wrestlers in the women's division for a ritual. In December, a celebration is held Satomura, who has been at NXT UK Women’s Champion for almost 1 full year, but the celebration is interrupted by Dawn, who steals the flowers Satomura was given. Dawn says the fall of Meiko Satomura will be beautiful, it’ll be spectacular. because the Isla she faced a year ago is gone, Meiko doesn't have a clue what is in store for her, and she promises that she will walk away with that title, because there will be a new dawn in the NXT UK Women's division, and the hex is written in the stars. Meiko says that when she became NXT UK Women's Champion, Isla was her first competitor, but now she is different, she’s mysterious, trying to get under her skin, but she’s Meiko Satomura, she can't lose, and what Isla has done won't go unfinished. A referee bump allows Dawn to spray black mist into the eyes of Satomura and hit the Call of the Quarters to pull off a shock win, ending Meiko’s 363-day reign.)
Rampage Brown vs WALTER
(Shortly following Takeover: Belfast, it's announced that WALTER will be having his final NXT UK match at Takeover: Paris, with WALTER requesting that Johnny Saint finds him the best of the best for his final match, so they can honour this great sport. Saint selects Rampage Brown to be WALTER's final opponent, WALTER says that ever since he arrived in NXT UK 3 years ago, he dominated this brand, he always preached what is important to him, and for 806 days, he brought back glory, honour, respect, and dignity to this great sport, but now the time has come, and his final opponent is Rampage Brown, but he's not impressed, because like everybody else, Rampage is in this for himself and he doesn’t respect this greet sport, but he will learn one thing, one thing that will never change when Der Ring General steps in the ring, he will come out victorious, because for him, the mat is sacred. Rampage says that it will be his pleasure to send WALTER packing from NXT UK. This is the same match that aired at the NXT UK Prelude in real life.)
Ladder Match for the NXT UK Championship:
Pretty Deadly (c) vs Moustache Mountain
(After Pretty Deadly cost Tyler Bate the NXT UK Heritage Championship, a rift begins between Bate and Trent Seven. Despite this, Bate and Seven patch things up after defeating Symbiosis to become number one contenders to the NXT UK Tag Team Championship. In the build up, Pretty Deadly say that Moustache Mountain are the founding fathers of NXT UK, they put in the hard work, and the world needs hard workers, they're the stone, the cement, the foundation, but PD are the beautiful building that was built on top of it, they're the Sistine Chapel of NXT UK, and they guess some people aren't meant to be that, because ever since they won the titles 2 years ago at Takeover: Glasgow, they've already beaten them twice, and they will make it a hat trick in Paris. Moustache Mountain say it's really sad that Pretty Deadly have held those titles for as long as they have, because you can see that they know full well that the respect is there for them, they built this, and when they first started as Moustache Mountain, it started off as a joke name, but now they know what Moustache Mountain really means, it means the climb, the struggle, and they're almost back at the peak, and the one thing that will top it all off is reclaiming the NXT UK Tag Team Championship, but they don't want any ordinary match, they want... a Ladder Match! The match is a back-and-forth banger, with Bate & Seven finally besting Pretty Deadly, ending their 441-day reign as NXT UK Tag Team Champions.)
NXT UK Championship:
Ilja Dragunov (c) vs Jordan Devlin
(After besting WALTER at Takeover: Belfast, Ilja Dragunov moves on to his next challenger - Jordan Devlin. Devlin says that people adore and worship him, because he’s more than Ilja Dragunov ever could be, because Ilja fights for his family and his fans, which means he's pathetic, but all The Irish Ace needs is himself. In the build up, Devlin makes things personal when he tells Dragunov that he’ll have to explain to his son why he always has to take care of his father. Dragunov says his life was always hard, his path was always difficult, but he never wanted it any other way, he's the NXT UK Champion because he fought for his life, and Devlin doesn't feel what he feels, it's all about those superficial things with Devlin, but for him, he feeds off the people, and unlike Devlin, he doesn't have to rely on anything external to be a champion, because his will triumphs over all.)

Royal Rumble 2022
Date: 29/1/22
Location: The Dome at America’s Center, St. Louis, Missouri
Pre-Show:
SmackDown Tag Team Championship:
The Usos (c) vs EC3 & Omos
(EC3 and Omos win Tag Team Turmoil on the first SmackDown of 2022 to become number one contenders to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. The Usos say that EC3 went from almost 300 days as United States Champion, to being relegated to the tag team division, where he'll spend the rest of his career locked up in the Uso Penitentiary. EC3 says that the only thing The Usos will be locking up is Jimmy’s car keys, because if they decide to go for a little joy ride, this match won’t end up happening, and their so-called Tribal Chief will be pissed when they lose their titles. Omos turns on EC3 post-match.)
Main Show:
World Heavyweight Championship - The Usos are banned from ringside:
Roman Reigns (c) vs Seth Rollins (by Technical Submission)
(After becoming #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship Seth Rollins cuts a promo on SmackDown, saying that he promised to secure his date with destiny at Day 1, and he did exactly that, because he doesn’t need a snake oil salesman to do his job for him, he does things on his own, because there's 3 things that are certain in life; death, taxes, and Seth Rollins beating Roman Reigns every single time. Rollins is then interrupted by Paul Heyman, who informs Seth that since Roman is still on vacation, he’s going to have to wait for his title shot. Rollins then drops Heyman with a pedigree, then tells Heyman to tell Reigns that what he's about to receive is exactly what's going to happen to Reigns. Rollins then hits Heyman with a pair of Curb Stomps, writing Heyman off TV for a few weeks. Later on that night, Sonya Deville receives a phone call, and is informed that Reigns will be returning to Smackdown next week, and he wants to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Rollins at the Royal Rumble. Roman then returns the next week on Smackdown after almost 2 months to confront Rollins, saying that The Visionary is a waste of his time, he dresses like a clown and he looks loke a clown, he clearly doesn't have the star power that The Tribal Chief has, he'll never reach the same heights he has, and let's be real, if he wanted to defend this title at the Rumble against a megastar, he would've picked Seth's wife. Rollins responded by saying that Roman can look in the mirror at night and say that he's been a dominant World Heavyweight Champion for 500+ days, but the difference between them is that he climbed his way up the ladder all by himself on the independent circuit, while Roman had his success handed to him, and back in The Shield days, he was holding Roman's hand left & right, because he still couldn't do it on his own, and now he needs The Bloodline to help him hold everything up for him, because he created Roman, and he can destroy Roman. The following week on SmackDown, Seth Rollins teams with EC3 and Omos to defeat The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match to get The Usos banned from ringside, leaving Roman all on his own at the Royal Rumble. Before this match starts, Rollins comes out to The Shield's theme, wearing Shield attire, and making his entrance through the crowd. Instead of a DQ finish, the closing moments of the match sees Rollins successfully hit a Curb Stomp on Reigns, only for Paul Heyman to come out from under the ring and pull the referee out of the ring. Rollins then chases Heyman around the ringside and into the ring, only to be caught with a Spear by Reigns, who then locks in the Guillotine Choke and makes Rollins pass out, allowing Roman to retain. After the match, The Tribal Chief repeatedly attacks Rollins with a steel chair then grabs another steel chair and sets Rollins up for a Conchairto, until Brock Lesnar's music hits, with The Beast making his return the first time since Heyman’s betrayal at TLC. Lesnar gets into a brawl with The Head of The Table and lays him out with an F-5, before hoisting up Roman's World Heavyweight Championship and signalling that he wants another World title shot.)
Raw Women’s Championship:
Kay Lee Ray (c) vs Tegan Nox
(Tegan Nox wins a #1 contenders battle royal on the first Raw of 2022 to secure herself a shot at The Psychotic Queen of Scots at the Royal Rumble. KLR says that Nox and her had many encounters in the past in the UK, and everyone knows who was the superior of the 2, because Tegan has half the talent that she does, and she has become one of the most dominant women in all of WWE, longest reigning NXT UK Women’s Champion of all time, Money in the Bank winner, current Raw Women’s Champion, and the greatest UK export in WWE history, while Tegan has done nothing since coming to WWE, and it will remain that way at the Royal Rumble. Nox says that KLR is still the same calculating individual from back in the day, she hasn't changed one bit, and she'll get what's coming to her.)

Sasha Banks (by Liv Morgan)
Liv Morgan (#2) wins by last eliminating Sasha Banks (#1)
Triple Threat Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship:
Becky Lynch (c) vs Toni Storm vs Shotzi Blackheart
(Instead of quitting the company because she got a pie in the face because of Vince McMahon’s weird sense of humour, Toni Storm sets her sights on Becky Lynch. Storm makes a good impression by defeating Mandy Rose, Natalya and Naomi in a fatal four-way match to become number one contender. Becky says that she’s surprised it took this long for someone like Toni Storm to finally do something in the big leagues, but she's going to wish she was never called up from NXT in the first place. Storm says that the reason why she hasn't accomplished anything since arriving on SmackDown is that she keeps getting held back, she wasn’t the first woman to be NXT Women’s Champion and NXT UK Women’s Champion for a reason, but now she's making her own opportunities, and she’ll shatter that imaginary glass ceiling, one that holds women like her down. Shotzi Blackheart gets involved in Becky and Toni’s feud after a distraction by The Lightning from Down Under leads to Shotzi pinning Big Time Becks in a non-title match. Becky says she's disgusted that just because Shotsi got a fluke victory over her, she now thinks she's hot sh*t because she finds herself in this match. Tegan says that Shotzi should be grateful that she's even in this position because of her, and as for Becky, her time as SmackDown Women’s Champion is up. The Ballsy Badass says she deserves to be in this conversation, she pinned Big Time Becks, and regardless of what people say about it, lightning will strike twice at the Royal Rumble.)
Fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE Championship:
Big E (c) vs The Miz vs Edge vs John Morrison
(Edge confronts Big E on the Raw after Day 1. Edge says that Big E has done a great job at carrying the flag for Monday Night Raw as the WWE Champion, but he's still new to this position, he’s never had to carry that weight, and he can't handle the pressure of being champion, while someone like him can, because he wants to test Big E, he wants to face Big E for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble, and he guarantees he will walk out an 11 time World Champion. Big E says that Edge is a highly decorated individual, but he's come too far to lose this title, and he'll use every fiber of his being to ensure it stays around his waist. The Miz & John Morrison then interrupt, with Miz saying it was guaranteed he would end Edge's career at Day 1, and it wasn't Edge the WWE Hall of Famer he wanted respect from, it was Edge the coward who capitalised on a minor incident between 2 best friends, because Edge doesn't deserve any respect, so there's only 1 way to fix this injustice, and that's by The A-Lister getting a shot at the WWE Championship. Morrison (who is beginning to fall out with Miz) says that he wouldn't mind having a shot at the WWE title himself. This then leads to Adam Pearce announcing that Big E will defend the WWE Championship between Edge, Miz and Morrison at the Royal Rumble in a fatal four way match. Despite the conflict between the pair, Miz & Morrison seemingly patch it up and repeatedly double team Edge and Big E throughout the match. Big E, unfortunately, suffers a broken neck via a botched Spear through the middle rope on Morrison, taking Big E out of the match and putting him out of action indefinitely Morrison tries to capitalise by hitting Edge with Starship Pain, only for Miz to pull the referee out of the ring. This begins an argument between Miz and Morrison, who are then both hit with a double Spear by Edge. The Rated-R Superstar then hits Miz with one more Spear to win the WWE Championship for the 4th time in his career, becoming an 11-time World Champion in the process.)
Men’s Royal Rumble Match:
Order of Entry:
1. AJ Styles 2. Shinsuke Nakamura 3. Pete Dunne 4. Drew Gulak 5. Ridge Holland 6. Montez Ford 7. Damian Priest 8. Sami Zayn 9. Isaiah "Swerve" Scott 10. Angelo Dawkins 11. Keith Lee 12. Samoa Joe (NXT entrant) 13. Chad Gable 14. Ricochet 15. Dominik Mysterio 16. Angel Garza 17. Sheamus 18. Bad Bunny (Surprise entrant) 19. Humberto Carrillo 20. Matt Riddle 21. Drew McIntyre 22. Dominik Dijakovic 23. Rey Mysterio 24. Kofi Kingston 25. Otis 26. Happy Corbin 27. Bobby Lashley 28. Karrion Kross 29. Randy Orton 30. Kevin Owens (Surprise entrant)
Order of Elimination:
1. Drew Gulak (by AJ Styles) 2. Sami Zayn (by Isaiah "Swerve" Scott) 3. Angelo Dawkins (by Keith Lee) 4. Montez Ford (by Keith Lee) 5. Damian Priest (by Keith Lee) 6. Shinsuke Nakamura (by Samoa Joe) 7. Keith Lee (by AJ Styles, Pete Dunne, Chad Gable, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Ridge Holland and Samoa Joe) 8. Ricochet (by Sheamus) 9. Ridge Holland (by Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo) 10. Isaiah "Swerve" Scott (by Samoa Joe) 11. Chad Gable (by Bad Bunny) 12. Humberto Carrillo (by Drew McIntyre) 13. Angel Garza (by Drew McIntyre) 14. Kofi Kingston (by Bobby Lashley) 15. Pete Dunne (by Dominik Dijakovic) 16. Rey Mysterio (by Dominik Mysterio) 17. Dominik Mysterio (by AJ Styles) 18. Happy Corbin (by Karrion Kross) 19. Otis (by Karrion Kross) 20. Bad Bunny (by Karrion Kross) 21. Dominik Dijakovic (by Karrion Kross) 22. Matt Riddle (by Karrion Kross) 23. NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day 2022
Date: 5/2/22
Location: XL Center, Hartford, Connecticut
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals:
The Creed Brothers w/Malcom Bivens vs Hit Row w/B-Fab
(In January, the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic begins, with The Creed Brothers and Hit Row being the two teams who make it to the finals. The Creeds defeat Legado Del Fantasma & The Grizzled Young Veterans to progress, while Hit Row topple Symbiosis and MSK to advance.)
Austin Theory vs Grayson Waller
(After ending Johnny Gargano’s NXT career at WarGames, Grayson Waller comes out on NXT to a chorus of thunderous boos from the FSU crowd. Waller says a wise man once said "you can never fail, if you bet on yourself", but the wise man who said that overstayed his welcome, and before he sent that wise man on his way, he bet on himself, and on one night, he went from being just another one of the new guys introduced as a part of NXT's new crop, to one of the top stars on the roster, while all these ungrateful fans who are booing him can’t accept change in their boring lives. Waller then admits that he was the one who attacked Austin Theory in the parking lot, because not only was Theory was chosen ahead of him at WarGames, but Gargano didn’t even consider him the second time around, so his attacks on both men were justified. After Waller squashes enhancement talent over the next several weeks, Theory (who is briefly a face) makes his return after a month away and gets into a brawl with Waller. Theory challenges Waller to a match at Vengeance Day so he can get payback on Waller for taking away his spot on Team Gargano at WarGames and for what he did to Johnny Wrestling, saying that Waller's only claim to fame will be having his ass kicked at Vengeance Day. Waller says that Johnny may no longer be here, but he can happily reunite "father and son" when he sends Theory packing from NXT.)
Title Unification Match for the NXT North American Championship and NXT Cruiserweight Championship:
Carmelo Hayes (North American) w/Trick Williams vs Roderick Strong (Cruiserweight) w/Diamond Mine
(Following a successful North American title defense against A-Kid on NXT: New Year’s Evil, Carmelo Hayes confronts Diamond Mine (except for Roderick Strong, who is preparing for a match against Cameron Grimes later on in the night) after Malcolm Bivens makes a comment about Strong being "the champion" in NXT, to which Hayes responds by saying he’s "The A Champion” and has been facing the best of the best week in and week out, unlike Roddy, who just faces a bunch of nobodies. The following week in a vignette, Bivens goes to Shawn Michaels and lays down the challenge for a title unification match at Vengeance Day on behalf of Strong, with Roddy following up that challenge by saying Hayes has until February 5th to find his balls. On the go-home NXT before Vengeance Day, there's a contract signing between both men, with Hayes saying that Roddy has been the "The B Champion“ his entire career, and he won’t be champion for much longer when he takes that Cruiserweight Championship by any means necessary and unifies both titles to truly be known as The A Champion of NXT, because when Melo shoots, he don't miss, and that's not a catchphrase, that's a lifestyle. Roddy responds by saying the fact that Hayes actually said all that to his face is impressive, but he needs to understand something, as much potential as Hayes may have, they're both going to have a life-changing experience, but for him, it’ll be the greatest night of his career when he unifies these 2 championships and walks out a 2-time North American Champion, and as for Hayes, he's going to be carried out. Hayes wins clean with Nothin’ But Net to unify both titles.)
NXT Women’s Championship:
Dakota Kai (c) vs Blair Davenport
(After turning on Dakota Kai at WarGames, Blair Davenport explains her actions. Davenport says Kai is a snake in the grass who’s known for cutting ties with people when they've served their use to her - Tegan Nox, Raquel Gonzalez - so she did what she had to do, and the fact that she had to stoop to Kai’s level absolutely disgusts her, because the fact that someone like Dakota Kai gets to be NXT Women's Champion and she doesn't is a sick joke. After over a month away to sell the injuries caused by Davenport, Kai makes her return after The Top Gaijin beats down Kacy Catanzaro following a match. Dakota challenges Davenport to a match at Vengeance Day, saying that Davenport is a black eye on the women's division, and she’s looking forward to beating her to a pulp.)
NXT Championship:
Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs Santos Escobar w/Legado Del Fantasma
(Following his victory at WarGames that sent Johnny Gargano into exile, Santos Escobar spends week upon week talking about NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, saying that he wants to go 2 for 2 in sending both #DIY members out of NXT, because Ciampa is not capable of carrying this brand like he once did with his now surgically repaired neck, and NXT would be better off with The Emperor of Lucha Libre as ”El Campeon.” Escobar gets The Psycho Killer’s attention by attacking Kyle O’Reilly after a match between both men on NXT: New Year’s Evil, with Legado Del Fantasma injuring O’Reilly’s ribs and putting him out of action for several weeks. The feud between Escobar & Ciampa heats up when LDF attack Ciampa on the same night following Ciampa’s successful title defence over LA Knight. Ciampa returns the favour a week later when he costs LDF a match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic against The Creed Brothers. This causes Escobar to go on an enraged rant the following week about Ciampa, saying he despises Ciampa, he despises how Ciampa got to NXT five years before he did, he despises that he won the NXT Championship twice before he did, that Ciampa has been here for far too long and that makes him sick. Ciampa responds to Santos, saying that he's a proven veteran, and even though Santos may have been doing this for 20+ years, it shows it took him two decades to get to not just NXT, but WWE, where it only took him one, which shows that Escobar has an inferiority complex which he lives vicariously through his goon squad in Legado Del Fantasma, but at Vengeance Day, he’s in control of his destiny, and he won’t end up like Johnny Gargano. At the end of the match, Escobar seems on the verge of winning after hitting Ciampa with a Phantom Driver, but Kyle O’Reilly makes his return after a month out through injury and takes out Joaquin Wilde and Raoul Mendoza at ringside with a lead pipe. This distraction allows Ciampa to recover and hit Escobar with a running knee strike and then follow up with a Fairy Tale Ending to retain the NXT Championship. Following his victory, as Ciampa is celebrating in the ring, Marcel Bartel & Fabian Aichner make their way down to the ring, and then the familiar and ominous sounds of Antonín Dvořák’s "Symphony No. 9" began to play through the arena, which means WALTER has arrived! The former NXT UK Champion gets in the ring and stares down Ciampa, who defiantly holds up the title as Vengeance Day goes off the air.)

Elimination Chamber 2022
Date: 19/2/22
Location: Canada Life Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
WWE Championship:
Edge (c) vs Kevin Owens
(Following his WWE Championship victory in St. Louis, Edge comes out to celebrate on the Raw after the Royal Rumble. Edge starts off his promo by saying nobody wants to see an injury like that happen to Big E, he knows what it's like to break his neck, but he knows Big E will be back better than ever. Edge then says that for years, he fought to get medically cleared, he fought to get a small window to come back so he could have one more reign as a World Champion, and he accomplished it, and now there is a whole plethera of men who he wants to defend the WWE Championship against. Edge is cut off by Royal Rumble winner Karrion Kross, who says that he will be challenging for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. Kevin Owens then interrupts and reminds Kross that he almost ended his career back at Day 1, and since Kross has a guaranteed title shot at WrestleMania, he's going do everything in his power to ensure that he's the one that faces Kross, so he’s issuing a challenge to Edge for that WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber. Edge accepts and says Owens is one of the guys he has wanted to face for the longest time, but KO is too obsessed with Kross, his head isn't in the right place, and that'll cost him when it counts. Owens says that he's always wanted to be WWE Champion, bit the only thing standing in the way of that dream is his idol, Edge, but he won’t wilt under pressure, he's on a mission for gold, and to get payback on Karrion Kross, and he’ll checks the first one off his list when he becomes WWE Champion. A 20-minute match sees KO counter a Spear from Edge into a Stunner, followed by another Stunner to allow Owens to become WWE Champion for the first time in his career. Edge reluctantly shakes KO’s hand post match and leaves, cutting a frustrated look on his face.)
Randy Orton vs Chad Gable w/Otis & Drew Gulak
(Despite losing the Raw Tag Team Championship at the Royal Rumble, RK-Bro continue to feud with Alpha Academy, with Randy Orton challenging Chad Gable to a match. Gable says that Orton may be a legend, but he's a washed up cheater who has to take shortcuts to win nowadays, and as for someone like him, we all know he's never cheated in anything in his life, he didn't need to cheat to make the Olympic team, he didn't need to cheat to become a 4-time Tag Team Champion, and he didn't need to cheat to earn a Masters Degree with an immaculate 4.0 GPA, because there’s nothing he despises more than cheaters, and The Viper is the worst cheater of them all. Orton says that Chad is the most delusional teacher on the planet, and the only thing he's teaching Otis & Gulak is how to fail. Gable debuts his SHOOSH! catchphrase for Alpha Academy's theme here.)
Elimination Chamber Match to determine the #1 Contender to the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38:
Alexa Bliss vs Shayna Baszler vs Bianca Belair vs Raquel Gonzalez vs Rhea Ripley vs Tegan Nox
(Shortly after the Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan announces that she's staying on SmackDown and will challenge for the Smackdown Women's Championship. Adam Pearce declares that 6 of Raw's top women will compete inside the Elimination Chamber to determine who is next in line to face Kay Lee Ray. Bianca Belair defeats Nikki Cross to qualify, Tegan Nox defeats Charlotte Flair (after a distraction from Belair) to qualify, Rhea Ripley defeats Carmella to qualify, Shayna Baszler defeats Mia Yim to qualify, Alexa Bliss defeats Zelina Vega to qualify, and Raquel Gonzalez, who gets called up to Raw after the Rumble, mauls Vanessa Borne within seconds to secure the final spot in the match. Before the match begins, Charlotte Flair, fuming that she’s not competing inside the Chamber, attacks Bianca during her entrance, but Belair insists on competing. Despite the injury. Belair somehow makes it to the final 2 against Alexa Bliss, with The EST attempting a KOD, but her knee gives out on her due to the earlier attack by Charlotte. In the end, Bliss prevails after a Twisted Bliss, securing a showdown with her former best friend at WrestleMania 38.)
Fatal Four-Way Match for the Raw Tag Team Championship:
Los Lotharios (c) w/Zelina Vega vs The Street Profits vs The Miz & John Morrison vs The Mysterios
(The Street Profits begin feuding with Los Lotharios after the Royal Rumble, defeating The Hurt Business to become number one contenders. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins say that Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo may be these big deals south of the border, but in the USA, they ain't getting the smoke or drawing a dime, but they’ll get it at Elimination Chamber when they lose the Raw Tag Team Championships. Vega says that if The Profits mean they want to lose by "They want the smoke" then they will get just that. At the same time, The Mysterios, as well as The Miz & John Morrison, get involved after Miz accuses Dominik Mysterio of being Eddie Guerrero's son because he's a lot taller than Rey. A distraction by The Street Profits allows The Mysterios to beat Los Lotharios on an episode of Raw, with Miz & Morrison scoring a win of their own over The Profits later that night after a distraction by Garza & Carillo, leading to both teams getting added to this match by Adam Pearce.)
United States Championship:
Keith Lee (c) w/Zelina Vega & Los Lotharios vs Finn Balor (by Disqualification)
(After injuries prevented him from entering the Royal Rumble, Finn Balor sets his sights on Keith Lee and the United States Championship. Balor says that Lee really went from being one of the most charismatic individuals on the roster, to a generic brute that takes orders from someone half his size and with half his courage. Zelina says that Finn will be in store for one brutal beating, a beating that is going to make him wish he’d stayed in NXT. Balor wins by DQ after interference from Los Lotharios. The 3 beat Balor down, and Lee prepares to hit Bálor with a Spirit Bomb on the steel steps, until Samoa Joe runs out for a post match save, laying out Los Lotharios and forcing Lee into retreat.)
Intercontinental Championship:
Sami Zayn (c) vs Isaiah "Swerve" Scott
(After eliminating Sami Zayn at the Royal Rumble, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott is granted a shot at the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber by Sonya Deville. In the build up, Zayn is still feuding with Johnny Knoxville, even showing up to the Jackass Forever premier to try and confront Knoxville, only to get thrown out by security. Swerve says that Sami is too focused on Johnny Knoxville, and that’s going be his downfall at Elimination Chamber, because Winnipeg is Swerve's house. Sami says that after he's done with this miserable delinquent, he'll move on to kicking Knoxville's face in. The Great Liberator insults the Winnipeg crowd pre-match to ensure he gets booed. At the closing moments of the match, Sami sets up Swerve for a Helluva Kick, only for Johnny Knoxville's music to hit, and the Jackass star makes his way down to the ring. This disracts Zayn and gives Swerve enough time to recover and hit a House Call, then follows up with a Swerve Stomp to become the new Intercontinental Champion.)
Singles Match with Liv Morgan's Wrestlemania Title Shot on the line:
Liv Morgan vs Lita
(On the SmackDown after the Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan cuts a heartfelt promo after her life changing victory, declaring she'll challenge Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women's Championship at WrestleMania when she's surprisingly interrupted by Lita. Lita says that she's happy for Liv that she’s in the title picture, and she know's Liv won't back down from a challenge, which is why she thinks she has 1 more match left in her, and she wants that match to be against Liv... at Elimination Chamber! Liv says she's more than happy to put her title shot on the line against her biggest inspiration, when she was just a little girl in New Jersey doing backyard wrestling with her brothers, she always pretended to be Lita, but now she gets to her face her one-on-one so for her, because this is about proving that she is no longer that little girl to herself. Both women embrace after the match and Lita raises Liv's hand, as Becky Lynch (who was on commentary for the match and tried to distract Liv on multiple occasions), looks absolutely disgusted)
Cross-Brand Elimination Chamber Match to determine the #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 38:
AJ Styles vs Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs Matt Riddle vs Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus w/Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland
(After Karrion Kross announces he's challenging for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, Raw GM Adam Pearce approaches Smackdown GM Sonya Deville to propose for an idea for Elimination Chamber - 3 men from Raw, 3 men from SmackDown - they face off inside the Elimination Chamber, and the winner will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. Over the next few weeks, a number of fatal-four way qualifying matches take place. AJ Styles defeats Rey Mysterio, The Miz and Damian Priest to qualify, Bobby Lashley defeats Finn Balor, Keith Lee and John Morrison to qualify, and Matt Riddle defeats Randy Orton, Chad Gable and Otis to round out the spots for Raw, while on SmackDown, Seth Rollins defeats EC3, Omos and Pete Dunne to qualify, Drew McIntyre defeats Happy Corbin, Ricochet and Ridge Holland to qualify, and Sheamus defeats Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro (in what is Cesaro's second final match before losing a Belfast Brawl to Sheamus a week later before he leaves WWE a few days later due to his contract expiring), and Dominik Dijakovic to round out the spots for SmackDown. The final 2 comes down to Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre, reminiscent of their showdown the previous year. McIntyre goes for the Claymore, but Lashley hits a Spear, before making The Celtic Colossus pass out to The Hurt Lock to become number contender and punch his ticket to WrestleMania 38.)
Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman & The Usos vs Brock Lesnar
(Following Brock Lesnar’s attack on Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble, it's revealed by Sonya Deville that Reigns will have one last challenge before Wrestlemania, and that he will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Lesnar one more time at Elimination Chamber... in a Last Man Standing Match! In the build up, The Beast torments Reigns, even going so far as to destroy Reigns’ car with a forklift. Brock says that Roman and Paul Heyman are in line for a country ass-kicking, but what really excites him, is at Elimination Chamber, he will finally get his hands on Roman and Paul, there's nowhere to run, there's nowhere to hide, and when Roman fails to get up for the count of 10, he will take the big gold belt in his hands, raise it to the skies, and be known not only as the new World Heavyweight Champion, but as the man who absolutely slaughtered the relevancy of Roman Reigns. Reigns says want really bothers him about Brock is that this is personal for him, he was jealous the wise man left him for The Tribal Chief, but this is just some game to Brock, because The Tribal Chief changed the game, The Bloodline changed the game, and they‘re going take everything from Brock, because he already took his advocate and upgraded him to a wise man, he took his claim to being the most dominant force in all of WWE, and at Elimination Chamber, he makes the final move and destroys Brock, and Brock will know what it's like to be personal, because he's going to make it personal, and it's always been personal to The Head of The Table. This is the exact same match that happened at Summerslam 2022 (minus Austin Theory trying to cash in Money in the Bank), with Brock coming out in a tractor and flipping the ring over, Brock finally giving Heyman what he deserves, and it all concluding with Reigns and The Usos burying Brock beneath a pile of rubble to ensure he doesn't get up for the 10 count. After the match, as Reigns, The Usos and Heyman, all feeling the effects from that match, walk back up the ramp, Bobby Lashley comes out, flanked by The Hurt Business. Bobby stares down Roman on the stage, and Roman hoists up his World Heavyweight Championship as the show goes off the air.)

NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver II
Date: 31/3/22
Location: American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas
NXT Tag Team Championship:
Imperium (c) vs The Creed Brothers w/Malcolm Bivens, Roderick Strong, & Ivy Nile
(Following their victory in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, The Creed Brothers wage war with Imperium. In the build-up, Malcolm Bivens says Imperium think they're these world class athletes, but the last time he checked, Fabian & Marcel haven't won NCAA Tournaments, they haven't participated in Olympic Trials, they haven't trained with UFC Champions, but The Creed Brothers have done all of those, because Diamond Mine are the real deal while Imperium are just WALTER’s bitches. Imperium says that they don't care these 2 rookies won the Dusty Classic, because their lack of experience getting them this far is disrespectful to this sacred mat, and at Stand & Deliver, they will wipe the floor with Julius & Brutus.)
Wes Lee w/Nash Carter vs Dolph Ziggler w/Robert Roode (by Technical Submission)
(The Dirty Dawgs make a surprise appearance in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, where they are shockingly eliminated in the first round by MSK. This causes Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode to stick around in NXT and begin feuding with Wes Lee & Nash Carter, with Ziggler challenging Lee to a match at Stand & Deliver. The Show-Off says that he is a former World Heavyweight Champion, and has Lee done nothing by himself, which means he is going to get embarrassed by at Stand & Deliver. Lee says that Ziggler is poison to NXT, nobody on the is bigger than the brand itself, but Dolph acts the exact opposite, taking everything he needs and giving nothing back, and at Stand & Deliver, he'll force Dolph to give respect back to NXT. Lee pushes Ziggler to his limit in this match, but The Show-Off picks up the win after making Lee pass out to a sleeper. The 2 men shake hands post-match, and The Dirty Dawgs raise the hands of MSK, turning face in the process.)
Dallas Street Fight:
Kyle O'Reilly vs Santos Escobar w/Legado Del Fantasma
(Following his loss to Tommaso Ciampa at Vengeance Day, Santos Escobar begins feuding with Kyle O’Reilly. On the NXT after Vengeance Day, Escobar says that "El Campeon" should be standing before the ungrateful masses in FSU as the new NXT Champion, but that street punk named Kyle O'Reilly took away his god given right, and he needs to keep his nose out of Legado Del Fantasma's business, because Legado Del Fantasma runs NXT. A week later, KOR confronts Escobar and says he hasn’t forgotten what Santos and his attack dogs did to him at New Year’s Evil, because Santos thinks he’s the hero in all this, but the reality is, everybody in the back hates his guts, because Santos is nothing more than a whiny little bitch who thinks everyone should worship the ground he walks on. This causes LDF to attack O’Reilly and beat him down 3-on-1, with Escobar concluding the beatdown with a Phantom Driver. The feud intensifies a week later when O’Reilly makes his presence felt by costing LDF a match against Hit Row. The following week, LDF returns the favour by not only costing O’Reilly his match with LA Knight, but also a chance to qualify for the NXT North American Championship Ladder Match at Stand and Deliver. Eventually, KOR becomes sick and tired of LDF’s constant attacks and challenges Escobar to a match at Stand and Deliver. At first, Escobar accepts, but only if O’Reilly can beat Joaquin Wilde and Raoul Mendoza in singles matches. O’Reilly decides to raise the stakes and says that if he wins, he. gets to chose the stipulation. Over the coming weeks, KOR scores back-to-back victories over Wilde and Mendoza, and then beats them in a handicap match to finally get his chance to get even with The Emperor of Lucha Libre. The Violent Artist picks a Street Fight as the stipulation, much to Escobar’s chagrin. Escobar says O'Reilly is just as delusional now as he was in The Undisputed Era, and he will show that rabid dog why he will never be in his or LDF’s league. O’Reilly says he’s been in some of the most violent matches in NXT, he’s competed in WarGames 4 times, he sent one of his former best friends packing from the brand, and Santos has no idea of the level of violence he will unleash upon him in Dallas. O’Reilly wins a bloody and violent affair with a steel chain-assisted Cross Armbreaker that he calls ARM-ageddon.)
NXT Women's Championship:
Dakota Kai (c) vs Priscilla Kelly w/Piper Niven
(Priscilla Kelly defeats Cora Jade and Io Shirai in a triple threat match on NXT: Roadblock to secure her status as the #1 contender to the NXT Women's Championship. In the leadup, PK reminisces in the night that she & Piper Niven visciously beat down Kai at WarGames. Gigi says that was just a preview of what to expect at Stand and Deliver, because Kai has a lot of voices in her head, and not a single one of them are whispering to her that she has a shot at walking out of Dallas as NXT Women's Champion, because one way or another, that title is coming to The Toxic Attraction of NXT, Hell’s Favourite Harlot, and her name is Priscilla Kelly. Dakota says she will make sure that that Chuckie from Rugrats wannabe's face looks as bad as the left side of her ex-husband's face. Priscilla picks up the win with the PK Driver to become the new NXT Women's Champion.)
Eight Man Ladder Match for the NXT North American Championship:
Carmelo Hayes (c) w/Trick Williams vs Bron Breakker vs Grayson Waller vs Cameron Grimes vs LA Knight vs Solo Sikoa vs Bronson Reed vs Nathan Frazer
(Not much story here, just 8 of NXT's best vying for the North American Championship.)
NXT Championship:
Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs WALTER w/Imperium
(Following his appearance at Vengeance Day, WALTER addresses why he confronted Tommaso Ciampa. WALTER says that the last time he saw Ciampa, he was looking up at the lights on our sacred mat, and since that moment, Ciampa has done a lot of self-reflecting, he's made this sacred sport a priority again, he's rediscovered that killer instinct, he's become a champion once again, but he's not faced any real competition, he's faced a bunch of amateurs, and facing weak competition is a disgrace in this sport, he should be facing the best of the best, so that's why he left behind NXT UK for NXT, he wants to see if Ciampa really has changed, if he really has that killer instinct back or if he’s the same worn down old man from 1 year ago when he takes the NXT Championship in Dallas. Ciampa responds to Walter, saying since he's last saw him, he's shed a lot of weight, he's no longer this unconquerable monster that he's made out to be, Ilja Dragunov proved he's mortal, and at Stand and Deliver, the wrong of last year is re-written and the monster is slain. WALTER wins with his trademark Powerbomb, becoming the first man in NXT history to win both the NXT UK Championship and the NXT Championship.)

WrestleMania 38
Dates: 2/4/22 and 3/4/22
Location: AT&T Stadium, Dallas, Texas
Night One:
WWE Championship - with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special guest referee:
Kevin Owens (c) vs Karrion Kross w/Scarlett
(Karrion Kross's path of destruction over the past 5 months leads him to the WWE Championship. In the build up, Kross says that he thought Kevin Owens was the fool, but now it’s clear that he thinks he's The World, everything revolves around Owens because he's the WWE Champion, because the second that he won that title at Elimination Chamber, he's been living on borrowed time, and the sands of the hourglass are running out on his title reign. KO says that he hasn’t forgotten that Kross almost ended his career back at Day 1 when he punched him through that cinderblock, he thought his career was over, but he overcame that and became WWE Champion, and on the biggest stage of them all, he’ll hand Kross his first defeat. Both men get into chaotic brawls whenever they see each other, leading to Adam Pearce naming Texas' own Stone Cold Steve Austin as the guest referee in order to restore some impartiality. A back-and-forth contest ends when Kross counters KO’s Stunner attempt into a Doomsday Saito Suplex, then lands 3 consecutive Kross Hammers to become WWE Champion.)
Tag Team Turmoil Match for the Raw Tag Team Championship:
Los Lotharios (c) w/Zelina Vega vs RK-Bro vs Alpha Academy w/Drew Gulak vs The Street Profits vs The New Day
(After successfully defending their titles at Elimination Chamber, Zelina Vega gloats that Los Lotharios are the greatest tag team alive, and nobody will take the Raw Tag Team Championship from them. RK-Bro interrupt proceedings, with Randy Orton and Matt Riddle requesting their rematch. Alpha Academy interrupt next, with Chad Gable saying if anybody deserves those titles, it's The Academy. The Street Profits are out next, saying that Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo barely escaped with the titles back at Elimination Chamber, so they want a rematch too. Finally, The New Day interrupt, with Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston saying that it's been almost two years since The New Day las held tag team gold, and that needs to change. After this segment descends into a brawl, Adam Pearce announces that LL will defend their Raw Tag Team Championship… in a Tag Team Turmoil Match at WrestleMania! After a fun 9 minute exchange between The Street Profits and The New Day, RK-Bro run the gauntlet, toppling the rest of the field to become two time Raw Tag Team Champions.)
The New Day eliminated The Street Profits by pinfall RK-Bro eliminated The New Day by pinfall RK-Bro eliminated Alpha Academy by pinfall RK-Bro eliminated Los Lotharios by pinfall
Six-Man Tag Team Match:
Damian Priest & The Mysterios vs The Miz, John Morrison & Logan Paul
(The Mysterios continue to feud with The Miz & John Morrison after Elimination Chamber. Tensions increase after The Mysterios cost The Miz in a match on Raw against Damian Priest, which causes Miz & Morrison to challenge Priest and The Mysterios to a match at WrestleMania, with The Mysterios & Priest accepting. Miz and Morrison reveal their tag team partner to be a man who went the distance with Floyd Mayweather… Logan Paul himself. Miz, Morrison, and Logan say that with 3 A-listers joining forces, The Mysterios & Damian Priest will be utterly embarrassed by a trio of pop culture icons in Dallas. The Mysterios & Priest say that Miz & Morrison being on Raw every week is bad enough, but everyone breathed a sigh of relief after Kevin Owens kicked Logan's ass at WrestleMania last year, and at WrestleMania 38, everyone gets to breathe that same sigh of relief. On the go-home episode Raw, a brawl between all 6 men occurs, with Rey accidentally hitting Priest with a West Coast Pop, which doesn't sit well with The Archer of Infamy. In the closing moments of the match, Priest turns heel by refusing to tag in and walking out on The Mysterios, leaving Rey to get pinned by Logan Paul after his version of a Skull Crushing Finale. After the match, Miz shockingly hits a Skull Crushing Finale on Logan, with Morrison confronting Miz as why he did it. Miz then attacks Morrison and lays him out with a Skull Crushing Finale, ending their run as a tag team.)
Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship:
Keith Lee (c) w/Zelina Vega vs Finn Bálor vs Samoa Joe
(Three of Raw’s best collide for the United States Championship. Finn Bálor says that since there’s no DQ in a triple threat, Keith Lee won’t have Los Guerreros lite to bail him out, because The Prince is walking out of WrestleMania as 3 time United States Champion. Samoa Joe says that he hasn't been active on the Raw roster in 2 years, but now he’s 100 percent, and at WrestleMania, he’ll prove he hasn’t lost a step. Zelina Vega says that Finn and Joe are a pair of has-beens who don't measure up to her client in any way, and at WrestleMania, Keith Lee will prove it. As the match reaches its end, Lee goes for a Big Bang Catastrophe on Joe, but Joe counters and locks in the Coquina Clutch. Just as Lee is about to tap, Bálor lands a Coup De Grace to break it up. The Prince then hits a Slingblade on Joe, then lands a second Coup De Grace on The Limitless One to win his third United States Championship. We’re also treated to the meme-worthy sight of a shocked Zelina, who can’t quite believe that all three of her clients lost their titles less than an hour apart.
Seth Rollins vs Cody Rhodes
(After failing to earn a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber, Seth Rollins becomes desperate. Over the next several weeks, Rollins tries to find a way to get himself a match at WrestleMania. First, he invades Raw to challenge Bobby Lashley for his Wrestlemania title shot against Roman Reigns, and loses. The Visionary tries his luck again the next week, only to lose a WWE Championship match to Kevin Owens. Things get so bad for Rollins that he challenges Sami Zayn on SmackDown for the right to face Johnny Knoxville, only for Zayn to beat Rollins in that match and make things indescribably worse for The Visionary. This causes Rollins to snap and trash the ringside area. The following week on SmackDown, Rollins handcuffs himself to the ring post and refuses to leave. Sonya Deville tries to get Rollins to leave, but Seth won't budge until he gets a match at WrestleMania. Eventually, Vince McMahon makes a surprise return to confront Rollins, saying that if Rollins wanted a match at WrestleMania, he could've just asked him instead of jumping through hoops that management put him through. Vince then tells Seth that 24 hours from now, he will get his chance to have a match at WrestleMania, because his "American Nightmare" is over. As Seth comes out and waits to see who his opponent will be, the lights in the AT&T Stadium darken and a voice says "Wrestling has more than one royal family." to a massive pop from the Dallas crowd. "Kingdom" by Downstait plays as a figure emerges from under the stage….. It’s Cody Rhodes! The former AEW star makes his WWE return after five years away. Cody wins clean with a Cross Rhodes.)
Bianca Belair vs Charlotte Flair
(The EST vs The Queen. In the build up, Charlotte Flair says that she is a once in a generation talent, the face of the Raw women’s division, and she won't stand for some one trick pony hogging all her spotlight, because Bianca Belair is only a household name because The Horsewomen made her into one, so she challenges Belair to a match at Wrestlemania, so that she can expose her for what she really is - a fraud. Belair accepts, saying that Charlotte hasn't held a title in 3 years, and the last time she challenged for one, she came up short, because Charlotte's stock has fallen, and at WrestleMania, her stock will continue to plummet. Bianca still gets her sport's team band entrance as well. The EST wins a 15 minute classic with a KOD off the second rope)
Drew McIntyre vs Brock Lesnar (by Technical Submission)
(Following Elimination Chamber, Brock Lesnar confronts Drew McIntyre on an episode of SmackDown, saying they're both in a tough spot since they both lost at Elimination Chamber. Brock then challenges Drew to a match WrestleMania, saying that WrestleMania 36 may have been c Drew's night, but he's been busy reinventing himself entirely since that loss, he's now a whole different man, and this time, he won’t be going to Claymore Country, it'll be Drew taking the subway to Suplex City. Drew accepts, saying that two years ago, he had the biggest night of his career, and the biggest win of his career, and he would love to make it a repeat at WrestleMania 38 against The Beast. Brock then lays Drew out with an F-5, with the pair getting into brawls on SmackDown over the next few weeks. The match is a bloody one, but Lesnar prevails by making The Celtic Colossus pass out to an Arm Triangle Choke. Brock shakes Drew's hand after the match as a sign of respect.)
Sensational Sherri Invitational Battle Royal
Tegan Nox wins by last eliminating Raquel Gonzalez
(Other entrants include Shayna Baszler, Sarah Logan, Rhea Ripley, Mia Yim, Sasha Banks, Naomi, Nikki Cross, Toni Storm, Shotzi Blackheart, Zelina Vega, Io Shirai, Blair Davenport, Cora Jade, Mandy Rose, Carmella, Santana Garrett, Tamina and Natalya)
SmackDown Women’s Championship:
Becky Lynch (c) vs Liv Morgan
(The culmination of Liv Morgan's journey to the Smackdown Women's Championship reaches it’s conclusion. In the buildup to this match, Becky Lynch brutally attacks Liv with a steel chair, wrapping it around her neck and throwing her into the ring post, which puts Liv out for a few weeks. A week later, Becky says that the audience might not like how she does her job because they think Liv Morgan is going to get her big moment at WrestleMania, but Liv hasn't broken down gender barriers like her, Liv never left at the height of her career and came back better than ever, and if you don't evolve, you get left behind, and Liv will get left behind when she embarrasses her at WrestleMania. The next week, Liv makes her return by coming through the crowd and attacking Big Time Becks after her match with Sarah Logan. After hitting an Ob-Liv-Ion on, Becky, Liv grabs a pair of scissors form under the ring and gives Becky a makeover, cutting her hair so Becky resembles Pris from Blade Runner. A week later, Liv says she won’t let a Big Time B*tch like Becky rob her of her WrestleMania moment, a moment that she has had to scratch, claw, and fight for, unlike Becky who just had to start banging one of the top guy’s in the back to get to the top and get everything handed to her on a silver platter, because she's taking Becky’s title in Dallas, whether Becky likes it or not. Becky says that it didn't have to be this way,but it's already established that Liv is going to do what she does best, and that is fail, because she wants to humiliate Liv, she wants to beat her to a bloody pulp in front of her family, and it won’t be a feel-good ending for Liv, it will be a tragic one. Throughout the match, Becky displays a new vicious and aggressive side to her in-ring style, but Liv refuses to quit, which gets her more and more over with the crowd. Becky eventually slaps the Dis-Arm-Her on Liv, but Liv powers out, and hits Becky with a Riott Kick, sending Big Time Becks into the ropes. Liv then quickly hits an Ob-Liv-Ion, but waits for Becky to get up and hits another Ob-Liv-Ion. Becky staggers to her feet as Liv hits one final Ob-Liv-ion as the referee logs the three count and Liv becomes Smackdown Women's Champion for the first time in her career. Night One goes off the air with confetti raining down from the AT&T Stadium’s rafters as Liv celebrates her victory, with Sarah Logan joining her in the ring.)
Night Two:
Fatal Four-Way Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Isaiah "Swerve" Scott (c) vs Sheamus w/Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland vs Ricochet vs Dominik Dijakovic
(Following his win at Elimination Chamber, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott draws the ire of Sheamus. In the build up, The Celtic Warrior say thats nobody wants see some punk like Swerve damage the reputation that the Intercontinental Championship is renowned for, because when your the IC Champion, it means something to your career, because some of the very best in WWE have held that title, and their career has elevated to another level, so he's going to become a grand-slam champion and set an example to his fellow Brawling Brutes on what its like to be a champion.Dominik Dijakovic and Ricochet also get in on the action, with both men winning qualfiying matches on SmackDown. Dijakovic defeats EC3, while Ricochet overcomes Jinder Mahal. Dijakovic says that he has been trying to break through the glass ceiling on SmackDown, and he can't think of a better way to burst through than by becoming Intercontinental Champion at WrestleMania. Ricochet says that he lost a piece of him when he lost the Intercontinental Championship 2 years ago, and he’ll get that piece back in Dallas. Swerve says that WrestleMania is his biggest chance to show that he can hang tough on the big stage, because he's a fighting champion who will take on all comers.)
EC3 vs Omos
(The former tag team partners collide. EC3 says that if it weren't for him, Omos would still be stuck in NXT, not wrestling on TV, and just training until they cut him from the promotion, but he saved Omos from all of that, he gave Omos purpose, he gave Omos the most exposure he ever got, and at WrestleMania, he takes that all away from The Nigerian Giant. Omos says that EC3 only hired him so he could get back into the main event, but when he realised that he was past his prime and couldn't thrive there, he went to the tag division to try and find success, but when that ended, he saw no more need to be associated with EC3, and he’ll snap EC3's spine permanently. EC3 manages to pull off the shock win by getting Omos up on his shoulders and hitting the One Percenter for the win.)
Anything Goes Match:
Sami Zayn vs Johnny Knoxville
(The seeds for this feud are sown at Day 1, when it's announced that Jackass star Johnny Knoxville will be the guest host for the Royal Rumble. During a backstage interview, Knoxville is interrupted by Sami Zayn, who has just won the Intercontinental Championship. Zayn says to Johnny that this isn't Jackass, you can't just run into a brick wall at 100 miles an hour, because Johnny isn't qualified to be hosting the Royal Rumble. Things heat up at the Royal Rumble when Knoxville distracts Zayn long enough to be eliminated by Isaiah "Swerve" Scott. Later that week, Sami shows up at the Jackass Forever premiere to try and get even, where he is thrown out by security and hit with a cattle prod by Knoxville. A few days later on SmackDown, Knoxville interrupts Zayn during an in Ring segment and challenges Sami to a match for the IC title. Sami refuses and attacks Knoxville, until Swerve (Sami's Elimination Chamber opponent) runs down to make the save. At Elimination Chamber, Knoxville costs Zayn the IC title against Swerve. This infuriates Sami, who goes on a furious rant backstage, saying that he is sick of that glorified Hollywood Crash Test Dummy following him whereever he goes, so he wants to face Johnny at WrestleMania 38…. in an Anything Goes Match! Knoxville responds later in the week via social media and accepts Sami’s challenge, saying he’s made a career out of disregarding his common sense, he has been in the ring with an angry bull many times, he's been knocked out, and he's strapped himself to the back of a red rocket, but he's still standing, and Sami is a great competitor, but a terrible human being, so at WrestleMania, he can take whatever Sami dishes out, because Sami is toast. This is the exact same match that happened in real life, with Partyboy Chris Pontius showing up, Wee Man bodyslamming Sami Zayn, and Knoxville winning after trapping Zayn in a giant mouse trap.)
Raw Women’s Championship:
Kay Lee Ray (c) vs Alexa Bliss
(The former best friends collide. Alexa Bliss (back in her Goddess gimmick) says that she was the one who plucked Kay Lee Ray from the obscurity of NXT UK and brought her to WWE, she was KLR’s best friend, but KLR was never here to be her friend, KLR used her, and once she got what she wanted when she won the Money in the Bank briefcase, KLR deemed her useless, and tried to end her career just like she's done to others in the past, but at WrestleMania 38, she gets her revenge, because the 1,567 days of The Goddess not being a champion in WWE finally comes to an end, and she will become the new Raw Women's Champion. KLR says that Alexa is weak because she hasn't been exposed to life outside of WWE, she hasn't been a Women's Champion in NXT UK for 498 days, she hasn’t been the second longest reigning Women’s Champion of the modern era, she hasn't competed in Stardom, and she hasn’t been a women's champion in other promotions in the United Kingdom, so she knew she could take advantage of her to get what she wanted, and once she got to that destination, Bliss had no use to her anymore, and at WrestleMania, the world finds out how weak Alexa Bliss really is. Bliss wins after two Twisted Bliss’s, winning her first Raw Women's Championship and ending The Psychotic Queen of Scots’ 189 day reign.)
Fatal Four-Way Ladder Match for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship:
The Usos (c) vs The Hurt Business w/MVP vs Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs vs Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante "Thee" Adonis) w/Isaiah "Swerve" Scott & B-Fab
(Since Bobby Lashley is preoccupied with Roman Reigns, The Hurt Business begin targeting The Usos and their Smackdown Tag Team Championship. In the build up, MVP says that he's heard all of the crap that The Bloodline have been saying about The Hurt Business, but they're going have to back up their words, because The Hurt Business is unstoppable, and despite Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander being under his guidance, they know when to make the right decisions by themselves, because unlike The Usos, they don’t need a wise man in their corner, and that is what will be The Usos’ downfall. The Usos get even by invading Raw to attack The Hurt Business at the request of Roman Reigns. Jimmy and Jey say that The Hurt Business are coming into their show, sitting at their table, and trying to disrespect The Bloodline and The Tribal Chief by taking titles that aren't even on their show, and at Wrestlemania, it's one and done for The Hurt Business. Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs are added to the match after they defeat The Usos on SmackDown after a distraction by Benjamin and Alexander. Sonya Deville decides to raise the stakes for the match, and makes it a Ladder Match. Before the match begins, newly crowned Intercontinental Champion Isaiah "Swerve" Scott comes out and informs the 3 tag teams that he just spoke with Sonya Deville , and it's now a Fatal 4-Way. The music of Hit Row (revealed to be the mystery fourth team) then hits, as Top Dolla, Ashante "Thee" Adonis, and B-Fab all reunite with Swerve. Despite having no champions advantage, The Usos keep their 259-day reign alive and retain their titles. Rick Boogs unfortunately tears his quad in this match.)
Pat McAfee vs Happy Corbin w/Madcap Moss & Vince McMahon
(This feud dates back all the way to last summer when Baron Corbin was broke, with SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee regularly referring to Corbin "Bum A$$ Corbin". On 03/03/2022, Vince McMahon makes a special appearance on The Pat McAfee show, and offers Pat a once in a lifetime chance to compete at Wrestlemania 38, which McAfee eagerly accepts. The following day on SmackDown, Pat is attacked by Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss while on commentary, with Corbin hitting an End of Days on Pat. Corbin says that he's heard all the stuff Pat has been saying about him for the past year, and he's had enough of it, and what Vince McMahon didn't tell Pat yesterday, is he is Pat’s opponent at WrestleMania. In the build, Corbin says that he and Pat have known each other for a long time, and all he hears now is Pat constantly criticising him and making jokes about him, because when he was at rock bottom and then he hit it big, Pat still made jokes at his expense, but now, thanks to Vince McMahon, he's getting his skinny ass dragged off commentary and in to the ring, and he's going to wish he was dead. McAfee says he's going to give all the fans what they've been waiting for since Corbin's sorry ass came into the company, and that’s beating this jabroni all over Dallas on his WrestleMania debut. This is the same match both men had at SummerSlam 2022. After Pat's victory, Vince McMahon gets in the ring to confront Pat, only for Corbin & Moss to attack McAfee, hitting The End of Days and Punchline respectively. Vince, Corbin, and Moss beat down Pat 3-on-1, until the familiar sound of glass shatters throughout the AT&T Stadium and none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin runs down to make the save. The Texas Rattlesnake gives Moss, Corbin and Vince a trio of Stone Cold Stunners, with Vince selling one decently this time. Austin & McAfee celebrate with some beers before Austin hits a Stunner on Pat for the hell of it.)
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal:
Austin Theory wins by last eliminating Pete Dunne
(Other entrants include Ridge Holland, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Hanson, Rowe, Drew Gulak, Apollo Crews, Commander Azeez, Bronson Reed, Mustafa Ali, Nick Miller, Shane Thorne, Mansoor, Jinder Mahal, Veer, Shanky, Akira Tozawa and R-Truth)
AJ Styles vs Edge
(On the Raw after Elimination Chamber, Edge comes out to address his loss to Kevin Owens. Edge says now that he’s no longer holding the WWE Championship, he has to take a different road to WrestleMania, and if WrestleMania 38 is ”The most stupendous WrestleMania in history", you can't call WrestleMania stupendous without The Rated-R Superstar, so he's issuing a challenge to anyone in the back, he needs someone to step up and and accept his challenge, because he is still the best in this industry today. The following week on Raw, Edge awaits a potential challenge, with AJ Styles seemingly answering Edge’s comments from last week. Edge say's he's happy AJ accepted, because he's wanted this match for a long time, and so have the fans, but he wants to face the bulldog AJ, he wants to face the AJ who was WWE Champion for 392 days, not the AJ who’s become soft after The Undertaker buried him alive 2 years ago. When AJ asks if that’s what Edge thinks of him, Edge offers a handshake, which Styles accepts. Edge then shockingly low blows AJ, completing his heel turn. Edge then hits a conchairto on AJ, which puts AJ out of action for a short period. The following week, Edge comes out to new and darker entrance music - The Other Side by Alter Bridge. Edge says that he is the benchmark of WWE, because for the last 2 weeks, it's taken time for him to decipher the code of what he's actually become, which is simple, he is better than every single person in this entire industry, but since he came back 2 years ago, he hasn't shown that aptitude, because the Edge that came back was intent on pleasing all the fans, he took his eyes off the prize, and allowed men like Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens to make him weak, but that Edge is dead, because now he won't be judged by the fans, he won't be judged by anyone in that locker room, and he certainly won't be judged by AJ, because he will pass the verdicts around here from now on. Styles returns the next week and says that for the past 2 weeks, he's watched that clip of what Edge did to him with that steel chair over and over and over again, to the point where he didn't even want to talk to his family, but Edge and his lame mood lighting have made up his mind for him, and the truth is, he doesn't care for all the nonsense Edge is spewing out of his mouth, he's not here to ask why, he's here to kick Edge's teeth down his throat, because if Edge wants The Gainesville Bulldog, he’ll get him at WrestleMania. AJ doesn't bust himself open on the stage set during his entrance either. At the closing moments of the match, Styles looks to have victory in sight, only for Damian Priest, who turned heel just 24 hours earlier, to appear at ringside, sporting a much darker look. This distracts AJ and gives Edge enough time to recover and counter Styles’ Phenomenal Forearm into a midair Spear for the win. After the match, Priest bends the knee to Edge, and Edge places his hand on Priest forehead. Judgment Day is formed here.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs Bobby Lashley w/MVP
(The Tribal Chief vs The Almighty. After finally ridding himself of Brock Lesnar at Elimination Chamber, Roman Reigns says that life is good, because when God wakes him up, he can handle anything, which brings him to Bobby Lashley. Roman then asks Paul Heyman if he’s concerned (due to Heyman being associated with Lashley in the past), to which a nervous Heyman responds that his loyalty is to The Tribal Chief, the longest reigning World Heavyweight Champion of the past 34 years, and Bobby Lashley doesn't respect that, Lashley never respected The Wise Man when he was under his guidance 4 years ago, because Bobby Lashley's back is against the wall, he is in a do or die situation, and if he fails, he becomes an obscure reference in history, a footnote in the chronicles of The Tribal Chief, and we will see a violent Roman Reigns, a savage Roman Reigns who’s going to smash The Almighty, because Roman Reigns is going to have the greatest performance in the history of his career at WrestleMania. MVP responds that ever since Roman Reigns became World Heavyweight Champion 2 years ago, he's been living life like a hog, because there's a saying, pigs get fat, and hogs get slaughtered, and The Almighty will slaughter The Tribal Hog and become a 2 time World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania. After 20 minutes of carnage, Roman prevails after 3 Spears to remain World Heavyweight Champion.)

NXT Takeover: Baltimore
Date: 30/4/22
Location: Royal Farms Arena, Baltimore, Maryland
The War Raiders vs Grizzled Young Veterans w/Ava Raine
(Following their quarter final exit in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, The Grizzled Young Veterans (who do not get repackaged as disciples of Joe Gacy, but they do keep their allegiance with Ava Raine and keep their gimmick) begin racking up a win streak under the guidance of Raine (who debuts on the NXT after Stand & Deliver), scoring decisive wins over the likes of MSK and the departing Hit Row. Zack Gibson & James Drake issue an open challenge to any team in the locker room, which is answered by former NXT Tag Team Champions, The War Raiders, who make a one-off return to NXT. Gibson & Drake score the win after an impressive Ticket to Mayham on Rowe.)
NXT North American Championship:
Bron Breakker (c) vs LA Knight
(Following his victory at Stand & Deliver, Bron Breakker cuts a promo on NXT after Stand & Deliver and praises all of the 7 men who he faced off against in the ladder match, saying that he wants to defend the NXT North American Championship week in and week out against the best of the best. Bron is then interrupted by LA Knight. Knight says that it's no secret that Bron is trying to pick a bone with The Million Dollar Megastar, and it pisses him off that some newbie can come into NXT and win The North American Championship before him, because young Bron is living on borrowed time as champion, because he wants that North American Championship, which he'll take from Bron like he's taking candy from a baby, and that is just a fact of life. Bron says that Knight's problem is he keeps digging himself into holes that he just can't get out of with that big mouth of his, and in Baltimore, that mouth is getting wired shut. Bron retains after a Spear.)
NXT Women’s Championship:
Priscilla Kelly (c) w/Piper Niven vs Cora Jade
(On the NXT after Stand & Deliver, Priscilla Kelly gloats about the successful week she had in Dallas, saying she told everyone week after week that she would embarrass Dakota Kai and take the NXT Women's Championship, and she's a woman of her word, because now thar the NXT Women's Championship now in her possession, the NXT women's division is about to become a lot more toxic, courtesy of Hell’s Favourite Harlot. Cora Jade wins a battle royal on the same night to become number one contender. In the build, Cora brings up how she was signed to NXT around the same time as Priscilla, but the difference between them is that PK has had everything handed to her on a plate since her debut last summer, while she has had to scratch, claw and fight her way to the top, because at Takeover: Baltimore, she’s going to expose PK for the flash in the pan that she is. Cora looks to have the match won after a Swanton Bomb, but Niven puts PK’s foot on the bottom rope. This causes Cora and Niven to mouth off at each other, allowing PK to land a Superkick, then follow up with a PK Driver to retain her title. Dakota Kai then makes her return by coming through the crowd to attack PK, laying into her with a series of vicious kicks. Kai attempts a GTK, but PK gets out of the ring and escapes up the ramp, with a seething Kai yelling at her.)
NXT Tag Team Championship:
The Creed Brothers (c) w/Diamond Mine vs Legado Del Fantasma w/Santos Escobar & Elektra Lopez
(Legado Del Fantasma begin feuding with Diamond Mine following The Creed Brothers successfully defending the NXT Tag Team Championship against Pretty Deadly, when Santos Escobar (still enraged after losing to Kyle O'Reilly at Stand & Deliver) gets the rest of LDF to attack Malcolm Bivens backstage to explain why Malcolm wasn't at ringside, with LDF putting Malcolm on a stretcher and pushing him into a production truck backstage. which is done to write Bivens off TV so he can become Stokley Hathaway in AEW. The Creed Bros want revenge on LDF and lay down a challenge for a match at Takeover: Baltimore, saying that Santos and his band of creeps can get it anywhere, anytime, because unlike LDF, Diamond Mine is a family, when they attack one of us, they attack all of us. This doesn't sit well with Roderick Strong, who's unhappy with The Creed Brothers (who are slowly turning face) for awarding LDF a title shot, saying that's not how he did things when he was a tag team champion, and he gets that Julius & Brutus are acting emotionally after what happened to Bivens, but it still doesn't mean you hand out title shots for free. Escobar accepts The Creed Brothers' challenge on behalf of LDF, saying these 2 knuckleheads are already falling out with their de facto leader, and Legado Del Fantasma is stronger than ever, because The Creed Brothers, and Diamond Mine as a whole, are finished in Baltimore.)
NXT Championship:
WALTER (c) w/Imperium vs Kyle O’Reilly
On the NXT after Stand & Deliver, the show kicks off with new NXT Champion WALTER cutting a promo, flanked by Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel. WALTER promises that this is the era of Imperium, an era of dominance, an era of pride, an era of power & success in this great sport, an era generations in the making ever since he was named after his family patriarch and was introduced to this great sport by his grandfather, an era lead by Der Ring General. The following week, Kyle O’Reilly wins a gauntlet eliminator match over Cameron Grimes, Roderick Strong, Carmelo Hayes, Solo Sikoa and Nathan Frazier to become the #1 contender to the NXT Championship. KOR says the mat may be sacred to WALTER, but he doesn’t give a damn about the mat, because now that he’s stepped out of the shadows of The Undisputed Era, he’s the single biggest threat to WALTER’s reign, WALTER has never faced someone so violent, so unrelenting, and so determined in his career, because he’s going to make the so-called Ring General’s hand slap the mat and become NXT Champion. WALTER says he's going to make an example out of O’Reilly as a warning to anyone who wants to step up and challenge him for the NXT Championship, because he is at the top of the food chain in this great sport, and with each title defence, he will ensure the mat remains sacred. A stiff and hard-hitting contest ends after WALTER counters a third Ax and Smash attempt from KOR into a Burning Lariat, then follows up with a Powerbomb to retain his title. After the match, as Imperium celebrates in the ring, Tommaso Ciampa makes his way down to the ring, with this being Ciampa’s first appearance since losing the title at Stand & Deliver. The Blackheart gets in the ring and stares down WALTER, making it clear that their rivalry isn't over as Takeover: Baltimore goes off the air.)
