WWE 2014: A Miracle on Bourbon Street
 Hello everyone and welcome to my TEW diary! In 2014, WWE made two booking decisions that would forever go down in history as two of the biggest moments in WWE history. At Wrestlemania XXX, Brock Lesnar broke the Undertaker's undefeated Wrestlemania streak, a decision that shocked the wrestling world. Moments later, Daniel Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to much acclaim, despite not fitting the typical mold of a WWE World Champion. It could have been the start of a great push for Daniel Bryan, but unfortunately, about a month after his memorable title win, he underwent neck surgery, stopping his meteoric rise to the top. In this diary, I'll try to book WWE to the best of my abilities to explore the scenario of what would've happened if Bryan wasn't injured and rebooking pretty much everything else too, by starting on the Monday Night Raw following the historic event that was Wrestlemania XXX. Here are a couple of house rules for this diary:- All Wrestlemania XXX results are the same
- I can't hire anyone over 35 years-old, except if for the Women's Division and if they're a former WWE champion (exceptions apply for guest appearances)
- I don't hire anyone I don't need. That way I can't poach all the indies. The same rule applies for contract renewals
- All new signings (except former champions), must spend some time in NXT.
- The face/heel divide will be loosely enforced, as I think a modern audience can decide who to cheer for. I'll try to respect it most of the time, but don't expect a lot of heel/heel matches.
- I'll try to follow on-going storylines as much as possible, but expect different outcomes.
As a reminder here are the Wrestlemania XXX results:(Pre-Show) The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c) defeated Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando w/ El Torito), The Real Americans (Cesaro and Jack Swagger w/ Zeb Colter) and RybAxel (Curtis Axel and Ryback) to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Daniel Bryan defeated Triple H (w/ Stephanie McMahon) for a spot in the main event.
The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins) defeated Kane and The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and Road Dogg)
Cesaro won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal by last eliminating Big Show
John Cena defeated Bray Wyatt (w/ Erick Rowan and Luke Harper)
Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) defeated The Undertaker
AJ Lee (c) retained the WWE Divas Championship in the Vickie Guerrero Invitational match by submitting Naomi

SmackDown! moves to USA Network WWE announced today that SmackDown will move from Syfy to the USA Network, joining Monday Night Raw on the USA Network schedule. This move was made in an attempt to attract more viewers to wrestling's second biggest weekly show. In other news WWE also announced a series of broadcaster changes all around the world. Both RAW and SmackDown will now be shown on the same networks all around the world. USA : USA Network / SyFy -> USA Network Canada : Sportsnet 360 -> Sportsnet 360 Mexico : Canal 5 -> TUDN UK: Sky Sports -> Channel 4 Europe: -> MTV Europe Japan: J Sports Plus -> J Sports ESPN Oceania: Fox8 -> One HD All these deals were made in the hopes of reaching a bigger audience. WWE Announces 11 new signings ! In an effort to bolster the women's division, WWE signed 5 former divas to multi-year deals. While they didn't reveal any names, it is rumored that 4 out 5 once held championship gold in the WWE and all 5 will debut on the main roster sometimes soon. In addition, WWE signed two well-regarded wrestlers in Courtney Rush and LuFisto. It is expected both women will be assigned to NXT and will now be known by new names. He has long been linked to the company and it is finally happening, Jay Lethal has signed with WWE and is expected to report to NXT. The former TNA X-Division champion has been tearing it up in the indies and is a highly anticipated superstar. He has a history of teaming up with WWE superstar Xavier Woods (formerly known as Consequence Creed), but no words yet on if WWE plans to team them up together once again. Joining him down in NXT will be Zack Sabre Jr. The British wrestler is highly-regarded as a technical wrestler and it is rumored that WWE has big plans for him. WWE also announced they've reached an agreement with former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team champion Jacques Rougeau and his son Cedric Rougeau. It is also expected both will be assigned to NXT. Jacques has agreed to on-and-off screen deal with the company. No words yet on if WWE will pair the father-son duo together or if Jacques will simply be an agent. Cedric was trained by his father and has decent wrestling ability. Standing at 6'6" and 300 pounds of pure muscle, he certainly has the looks, but it remains to be seen if he has the talent to back up the hype around him. |

Monday, Week 1, April 2014 RAW Preview WWE World Championship RematchDaniel Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship last night at Wrestlemania XXX and Randy Orton has activated his rematch clause tonight on Monday Night RAW! Both superstars have a lot of enemies so things could get messy. Intercontinental Title MatchBig E Langston didn't defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship at the Show of Shows, competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal instead. During the match, he was eliminated by Fandango, which prompted WWE management to give Fandango an unexpected title shot tonight on RAW.Cesaro Open Challenge Speaking of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, its winner, Cesaro will host an open challenge to see who can defeat him !
Contending DivasThe Vickie Guerrero Invitational ended in controversy last night at Wrestlemania after AJ Lee forced Naomi to tap out by slamming her hand on the mat. Meanwhile, Tamina, AJ's bodyguard prevented Natalya from entering the ring prior to the finish. Due to the controversy, WWE annouced a match between Naomi and Natalya to determine the #1 contender for AJ's title.Monday Night Raw announced match card:

I love this could you continue I'll post the show in a couple of hours! I'm still trying to figure out the formatting I'll use because i can't do a segment-by-segment recap or i'll grow tired and will give up. I'm booking 4 shows a week between RAW, SD, Main Event and NXT, so I have to fnid a middle ground and I think I got it. It's nice to see there's interest in this! |

DANIEL BRYAN TITLE CELEBRATION CRASHED BY THE AUTHORITY
Newly crowned champ Daniel Bryan opened the show celebrating his title win by leading a massive YES! chant, only to be interrupted by the Authority who promised to make his life a living hell if he even thinks about taking over their show. LESNAR WALKS OUT, ASKING FOR BETTER COMPETITION
Fresh off beating the Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXX, Lesnar came to the ring with his manager Paul Heyman and announced that Lesnar was walking out and won't show up until they can provide Lesnar with an equal competitor. Poor R-Truth and Santino tried to show them off how tough they were, but were quickly dispatched by Lesnar before he left the building. CESARO: PAUL HEYMAN GUYAfter his long-time client left, Paul Heyman introduced to his newest client, Cesaro. Fresh off his Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal win, Cesaro claims that Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger held him back and he's ready to shine on his own under Heyman's management. He then introduced the Cesaro challenge, to prove his talent as a single competitor. Unsurprisingly, Jack Swagger answered the challenge and Cesaro came out on top after a lengthy, technical match. BATISTA GOING SOLO After he was approached by the Authority to handle their dirty business during the main event, Batista exploded and let them know that he's not going to be their puppet. He then warned the rest of the roster that they should fear him.[/div] THE SHIELD HAS BRYAN'S BACKDaniel Bryan reached out to The Shield to have some backup for tonight's main event. Teaming up against the common enemy, the Shield accepted. BIG E RETAINS
Even though Big E Langston didn't see a real threat in Fandango, he still had to work for hard to retain the IC Title. Fandango tried every trick in the book with Summer Rae, but in the end Big E overpowered the ballroom dancer to win the match. Afterwards, Big E claims he can take on anyone on the roster. DOLPH ZIGGLER STRUGGLINGDisappointed he didn't have a singles match on the Wrestlemania card, Dolph Ziggler begged Stephanie McMahon to get a title opportunity, but she says these things are earned not given (oh, the irony). Ziggler wandered around backstage trying to find an opponent and finally landed on Brodus Clay. Ziggler, confident that he was going to win, was shocked by the Funkasaurus. Backstage, Ziggler was consoled by the returning former Divas Champion Kelly Kelly, who claims she can help him. WYATT WANTS REVENGE
The Wyatt family ambushed John Cena in the ring and Wyatt vowed revenge for his WM loss. After Cena quickly defeated Erick Rowan, it looked like it was the plan all along, as Wyatt and Harper jumped Cena after the match was over. As Rowan and Harper beat up Cena with the steel steps, Wyatt invoked Sister Abigail's spirit to give him the force to unleash his wrath on the WWE Universe and a shadowy figure appeared on the titantron as Wyatt laughed. WHO'S COMING FOR AJ LEE ?AJ Lee joined commentary for the #1 Contender match between Naomi and Natalya, but it was a short match after it was ruled a no contest. Mere minutes into the match, the lights went out and both competitors were knocked down. AJ Lee then found out that her locker room was vandalized and someone left a threatening message, asking if she liked her surprise tonight. BRYAN RETAINS THE WWE WORLD HEAVYEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
There was a lot of action in this long main event title match that surprisingly had a clean finish after Bryan made Orton tap with the YES! Lock. There was a lot of people at ringside by the time the match was over with all three members of The Shield coming out to protect Bryan from Triple H and Kane. Reigns even had to knock down Stephanie who was trying to ring the bell early. Following the match, Bryan celebrated yet again, only this time he wasn't interrupted. COMPLETE RESULTS

 THE MIZ INJURED IN DARK MATCHWWE announced today that WWE superstar The Miz suffered a back injury during a dark match at last night's WWE Monday Night RAW. It is expected that The Miz will be out of action, but WWE still intends to use the Awesome One in a non-wrestling role. SmackDown preview coming later today |

To keep the show up and running, The Authority has appointed Kane as their official delegate on SmackDown, giving him the go-ahead to do whatever it takes to keep things under control.Zeb Colter Will Answer to Paul Heyman Yesterday on RAW, Paul Heyman declared that Cesaro was held back by Zeb Colter for the past couple of months. The All-American will try and prove that Swagger isn't inferior to his former partner Cesaro and will host his own open challenge on SmackDown going forward.
MizTV with the Tag Team ChampsIt was announced earlier today that The Miz was out of actions for the next couple of weeks with a back injury, but it doesn't prevent him from hosting his coveted talk show, MizTV. His guests will be WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos. They beat pretty much every viable team at Wrestlemania, so what could the future have in store for the champs ?Bray Wyatt to Face the Celtic Warrior The Eater of Worlds will try to get back to his winning ways tonight against the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. Last night on RAW, Wyatt invoked the spirit of his beloved sister Abigail and she answered. Could this be the start of a new era for Bray Wyatt ?
AJ Lee Will Back Up her ClaimsAJ Lee claimed that she could take on anyone in the Divas' division and after she was called out on social media by the Bella Twins, the Divas Champion, challenged them a match, teaming up with TaminaSmackDown announced match card:
